The Theater

Beca continued to glare at the redhead in the seat to her left, letting out yet another frustrated sigh.

"Stop," Chloe scolded, her cerulean blue eyes scanning the large grey screen at the front of the theater.

"Stop what?" Beca asked, knowing full well what her girlfriend was talking about. Chloe jerked her head in the brunette's direction, a look of pure annoyance overtaking her features.

"Being difficult. I know you hate movies, but you promised you'd watch this one with me," the redhead reminded her.

Beca knew that Chloe was right. After much debate, plus a lot of complaining on the brunette's part, she had eventually decided that this movie looked halfway decent. It was rare that Chloe actually wanted to go to the movie theater, seeing as she usually preferred cuddling with her girlfriend on the couch while they watched Netflix.

"I know… I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so frustrating," Beca apologized. "I'm just really not looking forward to sitting still for the next few hours."

Chloe's eyes softened at the apology, her posture relaxing as well. The older girl twisted in her seat to better see the brunette, taking the girl's face in both of her hands and pulling her in for a soft kiss. Beca hummed her approval at her girlfriend's mouth on hers.

"It won't be horribly boring or cliched, I looked it up," Chloe mumbled against the brunette's lips.

"You did?" Beca asked with a smile. Chloe kissed her a few more times before pulling back again, their lips still touching. Beca was a bit shocked at the other girl's actions, the redhead absolutely hated spoilers.

"I wanted there to be a chance of you enjoying it," the redhead pulled back further, looking into Beca's dark blue eyes. She wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's neck, running her fingers up and down her spine, causing the brunette to shiver at the contact. "It's supposed to be really funny and I thought that it looked like something you would like."

"I'll probably still hate it," Beca admitted.

One side of Chloe's mouth quirked up in amusement, "Yeah, but at least it won't be like the time we watched The Notebook with the Bellas."

"But I liked that time..." Beca pouted. Chloe rolled her eyes, giggling at the comment. At the sound of the melodic tone, the brunette's smile returned.

"That's because we weren't even in the room for the last half of it," Chloe pecked her girlfriend's lips once more before turning back to face the front of the theater, her hand reaching out to link her fingers with Beca's.

"No, we were in the bathroom," Beca said, moving over so that her head was resting on Chloe's shoulder. A smirk came across the brunette's face as she began to kiss up the redhead's neck, stopping to suck lightly on her pulse point. She released the skin, but kept her lips where they had originally been as she mumbled, "And we were doing some very inappropriate things on top of Aubrey's counter."

"Behave..." Chloe said a bit shakily. The lights in the theater dimmed just as Beca used her teeth to tug on the redhead's earlobe. She forced herself to exhale and slowly pushed Beca away, "The movie's starting."

"So am I," Beca said, leaning in to capture her girlfriend's lips in a heated kiss.

Chloe reciprocated the action, happy that they had chosen to sit in the back. Beca ran her hands up and down Chloe's sides while the older girl ran her fingers through the brunette's hair, causing her to shudder whenever her nails scraped her scalp. The redhead heard the opening credits right as Beca ran her tongue along her lower lip and slipped one of her hands under her shirt. Chloe moved the hand away from her and pulled away from the intense kiss, a dazed look in her eyes.

"Movie," Chloe whispered, placing a final kiss upon her girlfriend's lips before turning back around.

Beca let out a disappointed sigh, but chuckled despite herself, thinking about how much restraint Chloe had just shown. Her girlfriend heard the laughter and smirked. She slowly reached out and moved the drink between them into the other cup holder. Beca raised an eyebrow at her actions, silently asking what she was doing. Chloe answered by pushing the armrest up, then scooting closer and leaning back into the other girl, her head resting on Beca's shoulder. The brunette smiled and wrapped both arms around the redhead's midsection, holding her close. Beca placed a kiss on her girlfriend's cheek and then gazed up at the movie screen, trying to get interested in the film.

It was nearly half-way through the film when one of them got bored.

Chloe let out a small sigh as the attractive guy on the screen ran around the building yelling about his partner getting laid. For some reason, she just wasn't too involved with the movie. Maybe it was all the other people, or it could have been how her phone buzzed in her back pocket every so often, but she was leaning towards it being the brunette who still had her arms around her.

Usually at this point during the movie, Beca would have been putting her hand on Chloe's inner thigh, kissing her neck, or really anything to distract the both of them. Somehow, the other girl hadn't done anything. She was completely enamored by the movie in front of them. It was a mixture of her girlfriend's strange behavior and still being a bit turned on from earlier that wouldn't allow the redhead to focus.

The brunette's chest quickly went up and down as she silently laughed at another one of the crude jokes, burying her head into her girlfriend's neck to try and not laugh out loud. She lifted her head back up and wiped at her eye with one of her hands before letting her arm wrap around Chloe again.

The redhead leaned back farther and let her head loll back onto Beca's shoulder, giving her a good view of her girlfriend's face. She had a huge grin on her face, something she rarely wore when a movie was involved.

"Babe," Chloe whispered. Beca's eyes widened a bit and she leaned closer to Chloe to let her know she had heard her, her eyes never leaving the screen. "I'm bored."

Beca nodded her head, acting like she knew what she was saying. Chloe glared at her, not used to being ignored by the younger girl, let alone for a movie.

Chloe turned her head a bit more and began to kiss the younger girl's neck. The brunette wasn't even phased by the action, barely even noticing it. The redhead began to suck on her pulse point, much like Beca had earlier. She didn't even flinch. Being sick of getting no reaction from her girlfriend, Chloe bit down harshly on the pale skin. Beca jumped in her seat but quickly returned to her original position.

Chloe was about to say something to get the brunette's attention when something else that must have been funny occurred on the screen. Beca began to silently laugh again, her chest quickly rising and falling. The string of jokes continued, and as they did so did her laughter. What started as a quiet snickering soon became a chuckle. Chloe couldn't help but smile at how much her girlfriend was enjoying the film, even if it wasn't normal. Chloe cuddled even closer to Beca, leaning her forehead against the smaller woman's cheek. The brunette turned and placed a chaste kiss on top of the girl's head before turning back to the screen.

Chloe smiled at the small act, nuzzling closer to Beca before setting her eyes onto the movie. Maybe it was the movie itself or the fact that she was a bit hungry, but she still couldn't seem to get into the film. It was funny, the redhead just wasn't sure what was happening at the moment.

It was suddenly revealed that the girl the less-cool partner had slept with was his boss's daughter. Chloe giggled at the scene being displayed while Beca began to laugh rather loudly. A few of the other people within the theater turned and quietly shushed her. The antics on screen continued and only made Beca's laughing get louder and less controlled.

The brunette started howling with laughter, occasionally snorting and smacking her hand against her right thigh. Chloe slapped her hand over her mouth to stop herself from laughing at the other girl, having never seen her like this in the year that they had been dating. Nearly every person in the theater was watching them now, some continuing to tell them to be quiet and others looking dumbstruck.

"Babe… I think you need to… to be quiet," Chloe struggled out, stopping to giggle and catch her breath occasionally. Her head once again fell back against the girl's shoulder, this time allowing herself to chuckle at her girlfriend.

"It was his daughter!" Beca nearly yelled out, still unable to stop herself from cracking up. Her hand went to grip her side while Chloe covered her eyes, both struggling to silence themselves.

It didn't really surprise either of them when a young boy, maybe a little younger than Beca, came up the steps towards them. He was wearing one of those red vests that many of the employees wore to show that they had a specific position and held a flashlight in his hand. The ray of light came to rest on the couple, both sobering a bit as the harsh beam blinded them.

"Ma'am… I'm sorry, but you're disturbing the other patrons." Chloe's cheeks flushed pink with embarrassment as she hid her face in the crook of Beca's neck. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave," the boy said. He sounded slightly nervous, but it was probably because he didn't have to escort people out of the theater too often.

"Oh my god… Are you-" Beca struggled to sound menacing as she attempted to even out her breathing, swiping at the tears that had appeared after her outburst. Even as she tried to be the rebel she portrayed herself as, she couldn't help but snicker every so often.

Chloe knew how difficult Beca could be, so she quickly stood up and grabbed one of the brunette's hands. She gave her a warning look, which looked much less scary when she was giggling, "C'mon."

Beca smirked and allowed herself to be pulled to her feet by her girlfriend. The two walked past the boy, Beca purposefully bumping into him just so that she still felt somewhat like a badass. The couple walked down the steps, turning right at the bottom to get to the exit, when an idea crossed the brunette's mind. She stepped back so that she could see everyone in the theater, Chloe's hand still in hers.

"IT WAS HIS DAUGHTER!" Beca yelled at all of them. She looked ready to continue when Chloe tugged harder on her hand, leading her towards the door.

Once the cool night air hit them, Beca wrapped her arms around Chloe from behind. The redhead grinned and twisted her head so that she could see her girlfriend.

"Hi," Beca whispered, a smirk plastered on her face.

"Hi," Chloe murmured, leaning in so that she could kiss the brunette. The redhead turned around and wrapped her arms around Beca's neck, pulling her in to deepen the kiss.

The small DJ gladly obliged, placing her hands on Chloe's waist and pushing her up against the brick wall outside the movie theater. Beca's tongue ran along Chloe's bottom lip, begging for entrance. She didn't have to wait long before the redhead allowed the brunette's tongue to snake into her mouth, both of them battling for dominance. Eventually, the two parted for air, resting their foreheads against each other.

"We just got kicked out of a movie theater," Beca chuckled.

"Technically, you got kicked out. I didn't have to leave," Chloe stated. Beca's eyebrows scrunched together as she began glaring at the older girl. The redhead kissed Beca's forehead, relaxing the girl's expression instantaneously.

"Fine, then… I got kicked out of a movie theater."

"You're an idiot," Chloe giggled. Never in her wildest dreams had she seen this happening to them. Getting kicked out for other activities, sure. But this? Never.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ruin this for you," Beca apologized, kissing the end of Chloe's nose. Her girlfriend just shook her head.

"You didn't ruin it. If anything, you just made my week," Chloe smiled her mega-watt grin at Beca, causing any worry the other girl had to fade away.

"I love you," Beca whispered against her girlfriend's lips.

"I love you too," Chloe sighed, connecting their lips again.
