A/N: Welcome to my first FNAF Fanfic and One-shot! I hope you enjoy this story as much as I enjoyed writing it. This is my first fanfic in this category, so if I make a mistake, please be nice about it. But I do take constructive criticism! Thank you!

Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, haunted.

He had heard the stories, the rumors, the 'haunting of the animatronics.' Did he believe those rumors? Maybe. Maybe that's why he was sneaking inside of a rotting building, that had been left to decay for years upon years. Maybe, that's why he was risking getting caught again, finally know that he was free. He was free after being left in prison for a few decades, guilty for a crime he indeed committed.

He had no remorse killing those five children. Hells, he had fun luring them towards the back of the restaurant and slicing them up. Of course, he had to hide the bodies and seeing some of the empty suits in the back, well, he stuffed them in there. Being a security guard in the restaurant had it's perks. Now hearing that the animatronics were haunted and after hearing that several security guards left the job with psychological problems, he decided to see for himself. He walked in the rainy night as thunder flashed across the sky towards the Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. This wasn't the original restaurant he had killed the first child and it wasn't the same one when he killed the other four. No, this was a new restaurant that had been created, in order to regain the trust of the people, making them wanting to go back. He smirked at this, knowing he had tainted the restaurant because of the murders.

He crossed the street, covering his head, hoping to be unnoticed as a car passed by. He took a sharp right as he walked down the sidewalk and glanced side ways to see the restaurant. The sign was rusty and some of the letters were missing. Instead of saying Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, it know said F-ed-y Faz-e-r-'s. He snorted at this and saw the ripped and know almost blackened red and white covers, dancing with the wind. He stopped in front of the rotting restaurant and quickly glanced around, seeing the empty street. He glanced back at the door, which had been sealed up with wood, in a form of an X. Multiple papers had been nailed on the doors. He squinted trying to read what they said, but most of the words had been faded away.

He rolled his eyes and began to pull at the wooden boards, but they didn't budge. He glanced around and looked at the sealed windows, which had been also been covered with wood. He growled underneath his throat as he circled the restaurant in hopes to see a glass window. He walked around before finding one, just as thunder roared in the background. He glanced at the sky seeing it become a dark grey, almost a black, and knew the storm was getting worse. He glanced back at the window before swinging the bat he had brought and slammed it against the window. The window shattered immediately and the man climbed inside. He looked around, seeing the dark eerie restaurant before turning on the flash light. Mice immediately scattered all directions making the man look around in disgust. He walked around seeing the peeling, black, musty white walls. The white and black floor was filled with mice droppings and puddles. The stench of rotting items, mice droppings and rust filled his nostrils making him gag in disgust.

He continued to walk around the area, going to another room finding a few tables, with decaying party hats and puddles of water, where the roof was leaking water from the rain. He glanced ahead and continued to walk where he reached the other room, finding a hook. He picked it up knowing this hook was from Foxy before tossing it back to the ground. He continued to walk before reaching the stage. He looked at the animatronics, seeing them in the stage. They were frozen in spot, with Freddy holding his mike and Chica standing but her cupcake was missing from her hand. He noticed Bonnie was missing but shrugged not caring that the purple bunny was missing. He walked in front of them, flashing his light in their faces. He was surprised it was the same old animatronics he had seen back when he had murdered the children. But they were slightly different know that he had seen them up close. Freddy's ear was missing and parts of mid-waist down was torn and missing, exposing his endoskeleton. Wires poked out from his elbows and eye sockets. Chica's bib, that had let's eat had been torn off and her yellow form had faded from a bright yellow to a crust brown.

He eyed them, trying to see if they moved but nothing happened. He snorted, knowing the rumors were too good to be true when he felt a presence behind him. He spun around, flashing the light behind him. He glanced around, his eyes darting side to side, trying to find any movement. He narrowed his eyes before turning back to the animatronics seeing they hadn't moved.

He smirked and said, "So, little children? How are you doing in those suits, eh? Having fun being stuck in them for eternity?" He cackled as he looked at the animatronics, a sneer plastered in his face. "Because look at me, I'm still here." He felt something pass by him and he quickly turned around, flashing his light behind him again. "What the hell?" he muttered, feeling his heart beginning to pound. He saw a few mice scurrying around before he shook his head. "Stop acting like a coward. The rumors aren't true." He looked at the animatronics before climbing the stage and circled them. "I'm still here," he whispered at them, in a sing-song voice. "I'm still here! I'm still here!" He laughed again as he looked at the still forms of the animatronics before he felt something move past him.

"Guess who?"

The man jumped hearing the faint whisper and quickly looked around, flashing his light around the area. "What was that?" he muttered mostly to himself. He suddenly felt a grip on his pants and a giggle. He flashed his light around him, seeing nothing before looking around in slight fright. No, that was all in his head. He was imagining things, the rumors about the place being haunted wasn't true. He shook the feeling off before looking back at the stage seeing that Freddy had moved.

That was impossible.

The place had closed down, the animatronics had to be long out of commission. There was no fucking way the animatronics could move, much less have power. How come Freddy had moved? How come there was light coming out of his eyes? He heard some movement and turned around, seeing the mice eating away at the drawings the children had put up on the walls. He snorted in disgust before glancing back at the stage, jumping back in fright seeing Freddy looking straight at him. He took a step back in precaution, his eyes opening wide in terror. There was no way the animatronic was moving, even with that just quick glance at the mice. It was all in his head, he was imagining it. He shut his eyes closed before opening them, seeing that Freddy had actually taken a step forward. He shook his head and began to say to himself, "It's all in my head. It's all in my head. It's all my head."

He looked at the animatronic, seeing the way he was looking at him. The creepy way the animatronic was grinning, the way he had his arm stretched as if he were to grab him. The way his eyes were glowing like dim flashlights, the way he looked at him. Like if Freddy were….alive. The man took a few steps back, seeing the animatronic staring at the spot he was a few moments ago. He began to breathe heavily, he was starting to hyperventilate. He didn't know if he was dreaming this, if he was imagining it, or if it was all real. His grip on the flashlight tightened and he lifted the bat at Freddy. "You thinking this is funny!" he shouted, at no one in particular. "Is this the way you stupid kids are trying to punish me? HA! Jokes on you! I ain't afraid! I will kill you again! Just like I did that day!"

"Just like he always does" he heard the faint whisper, before it was followed by a giggle.

The man quickly looked around hearing the voice and took a few steps back before hearing a crack. He glanced down and lifted his foot up, seeing a Toy Bonnie mask on the floor. He picked it up, seeing the mask before looking around, finding a Toy Chica mask a little farther off. "Revenge…" he heard the whisper again. He dropped the mask and he turned back at the stage seeing that Chica was glaring at him now. His jaw clenched and pointed the bat at them.

He began to chuckle nervously and manically, looking at Freddy. "I will kill you again, I will kill you like I did back then. Oh, how much fun I had pouncing on you! The way you screeched, the way you tried to run. It was fun! Almost like hunting a wild animal!" Lightning flashed through the windows as thunder roared. Suddenly Freddy's head begins to turn towards him, his hollow eyes, a small white pupil glowing. The man flinched at this and took a few nervous steps back. "No, this...he can't be…" Lightning flashed again, brightening up the whole restaurant before it went dark.

He blinked and Freddy was back in his spot on the stage, his eyes closed. The man clutched his head in confusion before glancing at them seeing that this time, Chica was looking at him, her hollow eyes baring into him, her beak opened in a threatening manner. He let out a shriek and began to run down the hallway, bumping into the tables and the chairs that were left behind. He continued to run before reaching the bathrooms where he went inside. He tried to close the door but it was jammed. Thunder roared again as he panted heavily, his heart racing as he tried to control his breathing.

He felt something touch his shoulder and jumped back in fright, not seeing anything but hearing that same voice, "It's all in your head."

"Leave me alone!" he roared as he stood up and swung with his bat. His eyes were opened wide and crazed as he ran down the hallway to find Freddy, limping in the hallway. His hat was topsidded and he walked towards him, like if he were drunk. He skidded the floor and looked at the approaching animatronic, panting in sheer fright. Freddy looked at him, and whispered, "Follow…...me," the animatronic rasped. "I'll show you….you can….see them….up….close.." The man panted heavily, panic arising in his chest. It was the same words he had told the children before he lured them in the back and killed them. He whispered, "It's all in my head. It's all in my head." Lightning flashed again before he let out a shrill scream. He grabbed the bat in his hands and swung at Freddy. He smashed the animatronic, it's head coming off it's body before it's legs fell apart. He ripped the arms out of his body as he continued to swing. After a while, he stopped, panting heavily as he looked at the broken animatronic in front of him. The light from it's eyes was gone and now the animatronic laid in broken pieces. The man looked at the broken robot before beginning to laugh. "I killed him, I killed him again."

He continued to laugh as he made his way back into the hall and into the bathroom. "I killed him. Just like I did back then."

He heard footsteps and immediately brought his bat up the side. "If I killed him, I can kill the others. It will be easy." He cackled, "It will be so easy!"

He walked back towards the hallway, seeing Chica looking at the broken Freddy. He walked towards the unsuspecting animatronic, his bat trailing behind him. "Follow me, little ones. I'll show you the animatronics up close." Chica raised her head, hearing the voice, her hollow eyes looking around before turning around, seeing the man raising his bat towards him. Lightning flashed in the background as he slammed the bat into Chica, snapping her head off. He continued to hit the animatronic with the bat, laughing maniacally. After a while, the man panted, Chica laid on the ground broken.

He heard footsteps and he turned around to see Foxy running towards him, screeching at him. He noticed the animatronic was missing his left ear, his right arm and mid-waist down, his fur had been ripped, exposing his endoskeleton. His mouth was wide open, showing rows of sharp teeth. His left eye was hollow a white pupil glowing in the dark, and wires poked out of his chest. The man swung his bat but the animatronic ducked. He got his arm grabbed and the bat got ripped out of his hands. Foxy tried to bite him but the man pushed him off. He ran down the hallway before seeing the Puppet blocking the bathrooms. He ran off in a different direction, his heart racing as he saw a window. He neared it only to find that the window had wood covering it. He headed towards in another hallway, hearing a faint voice, "Hello." It was followed by a girl giggling before nearing a door. He stopped seeing the door being blocked by wood as well.

He began to panic, seeing that all his exits had been blocked. He was trapped. They had trapped him inside. He turned back around, finding the Puppet looking at him, his white pupils glaring at him. "You're not real!" he shouted at the Puppet. "You're all in my head! This is a dream!" "It's your conscience, Purple Man," said a voice. He watched in horror as the Puppet's head cocked to the side, it's grin spread wide. "Vengeance," it whispered. "No!" he screeched as he tried to claw his way out of the door. He turned around, finding that the Puppet was gone. He panted, feeling nauseous as his heart raced. This couldn't be happening. Those couldn't be the children. They were dead. Ghosts weren't real. It was all in his head, he was imagining things. All he knew was that he had to get out of the restaurant before they killed him. He shook his head. Dead people couldn't harm him! But he wanted to get out, it had been a bad idea coming back.

"Guess who?" the voice whispered again.

He looked around, trying to find the source of the voice but couldn't find it. He ran again to the next room, trying to see if he could find an exit. Lightning flashed again, lighting up the room before seeing the woman's bathroom. He headed inside and locked the door, panting for breath. They weren't real. It was all in his head. He didn't know why, but know he was feeling terrified. Maybe he was wrong. Maybe this was real. He pinched himself, trying to see if he would wake up, but he hissed feeling the pain of him pinching himself. His eyes widening, knowing this was real, this was happening at the moment.

The ghosts of the children he had killed were real. They were going after him, they were going to kill him. "No. They can't kill me. I killed two of them," he laughed nervously, raking a hand through his head. "They won't get me, if I kill them first." He neared the sinks and turned the water on, surprised to see the water still working before splashing some water on his face. He looked up in the mirror before gasping seeing the form of Puppet in the mirror's reflection. It grinned again, it's glowing white eyes flashing. "It's time, for our vengeance. You came back...Know you're the one following me." He screamed as he grabbed the soap bottle and threw it against the mirror, shattering it. He looked at the pieces falling down before side-glancing seeing a figure slouching down on the floor. He took a few steps back before lightning flashed, lightning up the room. His eyes widened up in surprise seeing a golden form off Bonnie, slouching down. He neared the animatronic, surprised to see that it was intact almost, brand new. He was surprised by this but noticed a crank. His eyes lit up and a grin spread on his face.

He was about to approach it when suddenly the Puppet appeared in front of him. He gasped at this and quickly ran off towards the exit but was shocked to find Freddy, Chica, Bonnie and Foxy blocking his exit. He shook his head in horror, knowing he had destroyed them. He had broke them with his bat! He turned to look at the Puppet who was looking at him and whispered, "Vengeance. We've waited all these years…." "No! You can't grab me! You're not real!" he screeched backing away as the Puppet walked towards him. "Purple Man...took our life…." Freddy said, his head hanging loosely side ways. "We asked all these years why?" Bonnie stated, his face missing, exposing red beady eyes. "We wondered why you did it," Chica replied, her white glowing eyes looking at him. "But that doesn't matter know…" Foxy cackled. "We waited….and waited…" Freddy continued. "We knew you would come back," Bonnie whispered. "You always do," Chica replied. "And when you did…" Foxy hissed.

"We would take our revenge…." the Puppet finished. "We would kill you…" Freddy growled. "Just like you did to us…" Bonnie snarled. "By luring you back…." Chica seethed. "Because we knew you would come back. You always do," Foxy cackled. "You can't resist checking if we were dead," Chica whispered. "Your conscience tells you that we weren't. That's why you came back. To check if we were really dead," Bonnie growled. "You are dead! This is all in my head!" the Purple Man shouted. He tried to grab Bonnie who was the closest to him but the Puppet interfered, grabbing him. "This time, I'll save them…." the Puppet hissed. "I'll save them from you. I won't let you hurt them no more." The Purple Man looked at the Puppet knowing from the way he was talking, the way he was glaring at him with such hate, this was the first child he had killed. But was surprised that he was inside of the Puppet, giving that he had stuffed him in a Freddy suit.

He watched as Foxy neared them, his mouth wide open, his sharp teeth glinting. "NO!" the Purple Man yelled as he broke free from the Puppet. He backed away as the animatronics began to near him. He shook his head as he waved his hands out in front of him. "No! Please, I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" he yelled. "It's too late for apologies. You left us here to decay. You left our spirits trapped in our favorite animatronics," Freddy pointed out. He swerved them and headed towards the exit but Chica and Foxy blocked his exit, their hands reaching out to grab him. "No!" he yelled as he ran back towards the Golden Bonnie.

"We waited all these years. All those security guards that came and go. We thought they were you," Chica stated. "They looked the same, but they didn't have evil imprinted like you." "Leave me alone! I already said I'm sorry!" the Purple Man said his eyes wide in fear as the animatronics tried to grab him again. He ducked and tried for the exit but the ghosts appeared again blocking his way. He looked at the animatronics knowing there was no way out before looking at the Golden Bonnie. He knew how to crank the lever. He knew how to get it without it killing him. It was the only way out of the mess. He knew how the children had been confused with the security guards, thinking they were him. He knew how they could get confused if he got in, they would think he was one of them.

He swerved them and reached the golden animatronic and began to crank the lever. He watched as the animatronics ran towards him when he got inside of the suit, powering it up. He began to laugh maniacally as the animatronics watched him confused. "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO KNOW, HUH? I'M UNSTOPPABLE, YOU WILL NEVER GET ME!" he screeched. He went let a full blown maniacal laugh as the animatronics looked at him, their hollow eyes fixated on him. "YOU'RE REVENGE ON ME WILL NEVER COME TRUE! YOU HEAR ME! NEVER-" He got cut off when he felt something rip through his stomach. Something began to wet began to spread through the suit and felt a piercing pain. He gasped as he tried to move but the suit had been frozen. "No," he muttered as he felt something rip through his chest. He coughed, feeling blood slip down the sides of his mouth and felt it crushing him. "NO!" he gasped as he felt an overwhelming pain, the crunch of his bones snapping. The edges of his vision grew dark as he looked at the animatronics in front of him, looking at him with an horrified look. The animatronic forms of the Puppet, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy fell to the ground, as the five ghosts emerged from them. They floated above their animatronic bodies before looking at the Purple Man.

They almost looked…..saddened.

"Stop….looking at me like that….!" he yelled before going to a coughing, bloody fit. "I'm your killer! Stop feeling sorr-" He didn't get to finish as the animatronic malfunctioned, crushing him completely as blood spurted from the suit, covering the walls, the sink and the bathroom stalls. The bloody animatronic fell to it's knees before falling to it's back, a puddle of blood surrounding it.

The five children looked at the animatronic, in it's slouched form. They just stared at the fate of their killer, crushed inside of the suit, trying to escape from them. They exchanged glances, seeing that they were starting to disappear and exchanged happy smiles. Finally they were free, free at last.

Free at last.
