Hi everyone... sorry for the very late update as first I was busy with school, then I found other cross-overs and started some new stories. This chapter laid all for some time with a few times I added new stuff. Now, I thought I update as a start and original this would be the battle of the bridge but that comes next time, and maybe we will see Temari! Enjoy!

Training!

Somewhere in the forest of Nami no Kuni that hunter-nin landed with the missing-nin on its shoulder and placed Zabuza on the ground and planted the broadsword next to him. The hunter-nin smiled from under the mask and pulled out a bundle of tools out of a scroll. Poof…!

There next to the hunter laid now the tools and its fingers ghosted over the tools and picked up a scissor. "First I'll cut the mouth cloth, drain some blood and…"

The hand with the scissor came closer… closer… a hand shot up and wrapped around the hunter-nin's wrist, much to its surprise. "That's alright…" a rasping, cold voice spoke. Zabuza looked with bloodshot eyes at the hunter-nin while pulling down the cloth. "I'll do it myself…"

"Oh…" The hunter-nin faked its surprise. "You've already come back to life…"

The missing-nin rose himself up in a sitting position and pulled out one of the needles in his neck. "Damn… You sure are rough…"

Laughter echoed through the forest that sounded feminine. "Oh! You shouldn't be so rough yourself, you'll really die if you pull them out like that." The hunter-nin chastised the missing-nin.

The missing-nin glared down at his feet. "How long are you going to wear that stupid mask?"

Chuckles escaped the hunter-nin while it raised her hand to remove the mask. "Its reminds me of the old days… Plus, it was useful for this mask."

The mask is removed from the hunter-nin …and revealed a feminine face that smiled at Zabuza. "If I hadn't saved you, you definitely would have been killed."

Zabuza glared at the feminine hunter-nin. "If you were going to put me in a momentary dead, you didn't have to use my neck… You could have aimed for a safer acupuncture point." He accused the hunter-nin. "You're annoying as always, Haku…"

"You're right, Zabuza-sama." The missing-nin, Haku smiled at her master. "I just didn't want to scar your beautiful body. And the neck doesn't have that much muscle. Its easier to hit the acupuncture point there."

"…" Zabuza kept quiet while listening to Haku that explained for many times as he could count on his hands. "…You shouldn't be able to move much for about a week. But…" Zabuza gave Haku a sharp eye. "You might be able to move soon."

"A week… before I can have my revenge…"

The day after Team Seven arrived at Tazuna house, they found themselves in a forest. The trees were smaller than in their homeland and they craned their neck to look up to Kakashi that stood at the top said tree looking down on them. "Ok, we will now start our training."

"Eh… Kakashi-sensei, how did you end up there?" Sakura voiced out her opinion while she craned her neck to look up to her sensei.

Kakashi looked at Sakura and eye smiled. "Sakura what can you tell me about chakra?"

The kunoichi closed her eyes, thinking about the question that her sensei gave her. With her index finger she ticked against the corner of her lips before giving the answer. 'Beautiful young girl, Sakura's lesson on Chakra no jutsu!'

Simply put, chakra is the energy that a shinobi or kunoichi needs when performing a jutsu. That energy has two parts. The body energy, that is in each of billions of your cells. And the spiritual energy gained through training and other experiences. These two parts combined you mold chakra in your body that you can use to perform a jutsu. This is done through the process of seals with the hands.

'Right… beautiful girl…?!' Thought Naruto while glancing at Sakura and couldn't see the connection of said girl with beautiful girl. Kakashi coughed too at said word but hid it well with a cough. "Cough… cough… Well done Sakura," 'She picked that up at least…'

Sasuke glared at Kakashi, "So… if I understand it completely, Sakura says that by mixing Energy and Spiritual you mold chakra and then you can use a jutsu… right?"

"Exactly!"

"And…?" Sasuke drawled out. "I already know how to use a jutsu, so that means that you're worthless, just what I did expect from a clan-less shinobi."

Kakashi's lone eye hardened when he heard the arrogant Uchiha survivor. "Uchiha Sasuke… You will treat me with respect! Here in my team you're nothing more than a mere GENIN! You're nothing special… just a normal shinobi with no blood heritage unlocked and as long as I am your sensei you will listen to me, understood!"

He gritted his teeth together and turned his head away and glared at a lone tree. 'How dares that …thief! Speak to me like that! When I'm back at Konoha I must find out how he did get an Uchiha clan geka genkai… And what did that missing-nin say that all the tree clans of the big four has defeated us the mighty Uchiha clan. I bet I can beat that dobe…'

"…You guys are not using chakra properly." Kakashi continued as if he had never stopped. 'Except Naruto-kun…'

"What!" Exclaimed Haruno outraged at the blunt statement. Kakashi's eye rested now solely at Sakura. "As you and Sasuke said earlier, to release chakra means to bring out physical and spiritual energy and mix them together in your body. And based on what jutsu you use, the type and amount of chakra that is released will be different. So, to be blunt… You guys are not efficiently using your chakra yet."

Sakura raised her hand and Kakashi nodded. "So how can we learn to control our chakra then and how will that help us in the upcoming battle?"

Kakashi eye smiled, "An excellent question, even if you have a high reserves of chakra and can release a high amount of your chakra unless you can control it properly… the jutsu will still be weakened or won't work at all."

"So… what should we do, sensei?" Sakura asked.

"Hehehe…" An evil laugh escaped Kakashi's lips that brought chilling down their back. "That's why we're here and you guys will learn how to tree walking. Now concentrate chakra in your feet and walk up the trees." He threw tree kunais to each of them. "With those kunais you can mark how far you have come and when you have reached the top tree times then you're done."

Naruto bend down while picking up his kunai as a smirk adorned his face. "Hey teme… this is the reason why sensei gave us this task on chakra control…"

Sasuke looked up when he heard his hated 'rival' spoke to him. What he witnessed made his blood cold but at the same time boil when Naruto ran up to the tree, one step, two step, tree step and it continued until he had reached the top of the tree where he crouched down and marked his achievement much to his displeasure. This repeated Naruto tree times before jumping to the tree where Kakashi stood watching Naruto's process and crouched down next to him with no sigh of exhaustion.

"Hehehe this was pretty easy, right teme?" Naruto mocked the Uchiha that growled at him before he started to run and when his feet hit the tree… he launched himself from the tree and flew through the air before summersault in midair and at landing he slid a bit more. "Hnnn…."

'Damn… this is harder than I thought. How in my clans name can that dobe already come so far? He isn't even a member of a clan… wait didn't that missing-nin said that a Uzumaki had beaten my ancestors and that they know how to beat my clans geka genkai…' Sasuke was brought out of his train of thought when another voice joined the treetops.

"I did it Sasuke-kun!" squealed Sakura, hoping to gain some affection from her crush but that was dashed to the bottom when Sasuke snarled at her and called her horrible names that caused her to break out in tears.

Kakashi and Naruto smiled at her. "Well done Sakura in accomplice something before that teme could do." Naruto cheered her on while looking with a disgusted look to the ground were Sasuke was screaming. "How does it feel like to be looked down on, Sasuke-teme?"

"NARUTO!" Sasuke roared, his hand made a fluent movement and he threw his kunai towards Naruto that jumped out of the deadly path and a second later the Kunai imbedded in the bark of the tree. Naruto only laughed as he jumped from tree to tree until he vanished out of view while everyone watched him leave.

"It seems that the Uchiha have fallen greatly, I do expect you to reach the top to retrieve my kunai…" Kakashi informed the Uchiha that growled at him before Kakashi too vanished in a whirl of leafs, leaving only Sakura and Sasuke behind. Not far from the group, a small boy had watched the whole thing before returning back to his house.

Haku sits in a room next to a bed where her master rests when she heard the crack of the door being opened. She glanced to the door and watched with disgust when Gatou and his bodyguards entered the room. "So even you have come defeated." He said with loathing to the missing-nin.

The two samurai bodyguards grinned at the predicament while eyeing Haku with lecherous eyes. "It looks that the Mist country shinobi are pretty pathetic!" Gatou spat while placing his spectacles right. "You can't even avenge your men and that calls himself a devil."

"…" Zabuza kept quit while holding his eyes tight, creating the illusion that he's still resting. Out of the corner of her eye, Haku could see the movement of the samurais. 'An attack?'

The two samurai moved their hands to the hilt of their katana. "…Hold on for a second." Gatou told his guards, "Hey, There's no need to stay silent."

Gatou's hand reached towards the head of Zabuza in order to remove his mask. "How about…"

A hand sneaked around Gatou's wrist while a cold voice spoke. "Don't touch Zabuza-sama with your dirty hand."

"Gu! You…" Gatou brought out when in a blink of an eye he was released and he paled when he saw the kunoichi between his guards with their own katanas at their throats. 'No way… she moved in a instant!'

Haku stands between the two males with their weapons at their throats and with an ice-cold voice she spoke while the temperature dropped drastically and ice surrounded them. "You shouldn't do that… I'm piss off right now."

'She's a monster…' Thought the two warriors in slight fear.

Gatou skin pales when he watched everything behind his dark spectacles and said with disgust. "One more time! If you fail one more time… You'll not be welcome back here anymore. Remember that!"

Haku let a sigh escape her lips when her attention fell on Zabuza. "Haku you didn't have to…"

"I know," Haku interrupted with a smile. "But it's too early to kill Gatou and we need the money for Mei-sama. If we cause a commotion here, Mei-sama and the resistance will not be happy… We must be patient."

"Yeah… You're right, I don't want an angry red head after me… chuckle" Zabuza chuckled the last part while paling a bit at the thought of said red head would do to him 'if' he would fail his mission. Haku just smiled with her own fond memories…

"Yawn…" yawned a young blond boy that stood watch at the bridge. '…Boring. Such a waist of time, watching old men' working on the bridge. But hey, I'm a ninja and deception is one of my best skills. Creating my beloved shadow clones to train in the woods while I keep them safe.'

Naruto yawned again for show when a voice spoke to him. "Hey, you sure seem bored all by yourself. Where are the brood-lord and his banshee queen?"

"They are training while I keep guard the bridge." The genin replied with a wide grin. The man, Tazuna was surprised that a genin would guard them, but nonetheless he was happy with a experience ninja at the bridge. "You don't have to? Training I mean…"

"Me…? Na, I love to watch old men working at the bridge, beside who said I'm not training?"

"…Right, I only see you here yawning and stretching but nothing else." He said skeptics that earned him a laugh from the young shinobi. The blond murmured, "Deception… deception is the art of the shinobi."

"Huh?" Tazuna eyed the boy with surprise. "If you think so…."

A voice called to him. "Hey… Tazuna!"

Tazuna turned towards the owner of the voice with a half lidded eye. "Hn… what is it Giichi?" he lifted his hand with the towel to remove the sweat from his face.

An middle aged man stared at Tazuna with a defeated look. "I've been doing a lot of thinking recently and…"

Tazuna's eyes hardened when he could guess what the man would say but he decided to stay quiet to see if he was right. "Can I stop working on the bridge?"

The old man sighed inwardly before, "Why is that?! This is so sudden! Not you too!"

"Tazuna we've been close for a long time now. I want to help you, but if we continue this Gatou will notice us. And if you get killed, then what's the point?"

Tazuna kept quiet. He couldn't believe that one of his longest friends should quiet and if he would quiet then they all will and then they will never free themselves from this tyranny that's called Gatou. "Why don't we quite now building the bridge?"

Naruto watched the whole interaction between the two. "I can't do that. This bridge is our bridge. This is the bridge that we started building together… believing it would bring us our resources into our super poor country…"

"But if we lose out lives!" Giichi shouted, pointing accusingly at Tazuna when a new voice joined them.

"You don't see it, old man," said old man turned to the owner of the voice. Giichi narrowed his eyes at the blond boy.

"What do I not see… boy? I see that Tazuna is delusional, that this - bridge will bring our country back to the golden age." He spoke with hard voice while he sounds so broken. "While my family starves, lives in fear… what goods bring this bridge than only DEATH! Many of my comrades has died while building this bridge, so don't speak to me as if you know-"

THUD! A kunai landed in front of his feet. The man followed the trail and his eyes locked on the hand that had thrown the weapon. "You're pathetic! You live in fear! You live in poverty, but do you want to know what this bridge means to me and all the others that works hard on this HOPE!"

Everyone within ear range heard the boy speak. "Yes HOPE! This bridge is a weapon that Gatou fears! This bridge is the hope for your wife, children your families for a brighter future. When this bridge is finished they can say… this bridge brought us HOPE! They can proudly claim that they fathers', husbands and friends had worked hard on this bridge, knowing that WE fought for their future!" Naruto spoke to them, eyeing each of them in the eye. "Don't let a man as Gatou ruin the future of your family, your wife or children. You know…"

Here everyone leaned in.

"…Tazuna-san traveled to my village in the hope to hire ninjas that could protect his village. He knew he hadn't enough money to afford an A-rank mission, but still he didn't give up HOPE! He lied to us and led us to here to the bridge! We were attacked while we escorted him back to your village while we wanted to turn our back to your guys, to your family and country, but Tazuna convinced us to stay and help. So don't run away, as I didn't run, my teammates didn't run and Tazuna didn't run! The man… Tazuna that placed the first brick of our new hope against tyranny made this all possible… So fight for a brighter future where you can decide your own path! A future without Gatou!"

The men roared when they heard this heart-warming speech about not giving up hope. They cheered on Tazuna and Naruto. The first one blushed while the second one had a steel expression, like a leader.

"Lets work!" a worker shouted, raising his tool into the air.

"Go Tazuna-san!" another one shouted that is soon be followed by all the workers. Giichi that heard the speech felt shame crept up in his chest and shifted slowly to Tazuna. "I'm sorry Tazuna-san, I had lost my courage, my dream… but thanks to you and the blond boy I will work twice as hard as before and you can count on me from now on."

Tazuna nodded, his eyes shone with happiness as tears gathered around the corner. 'That boy… he spoke up to them, making them believe in hope when they had lost their way. One day he will become a great shinobi and maybe one day he will be hokage.'

Three days had passed after Naruto's speech and Team Seven are ready to confront Zabuza and his possible partner, the fake hunter-nin.

After Naruto's speech, three days had passed and team seven had trained hard, meaning Sasuke and Sakura repeated the tree climbing technique until they could run ten times up and down while Kakashi watched them as much as his Icha Icha permitted. Naruto himself had worked hard in the forest, sealing of his training ground with some seals that could warn him for anything that could spy on him. In the forest he had met an interesting person with a friendly personality and they parted as friends and now Naruto found himself alone in his room, his body resting on his bed while he kept his eyes close and released some of his aura to check his surroundings. 'Three incoming chakra with the amount of a civilian, I feel Tsunami and her son here in the house – I don't trust them as we predicted that Zabuza's assaults would be today.'

Crawling out of bed he cradled low, placing his hand on the floor before pumping chakra through the wood and writings crawled over the floor. He, Naruto was ready for the last confrontation. His seals would protect those that are inside the building…
