A/N: Hey everyone! Since many people asked me I've decided to write a sequel to my previous story 'A Place to Call Home' so you should read it first or this story might cause some confusion.
Enjoy!

It was a quiet afternoon in the sleepy town. The sun will be setting soon and the sky turned a shade of orange.
There was a bright flash of light in the sky and Bill Cipher appeared once it faded.
"Nothing's changed, huh." He noted as he looked around.
He floated down to the Mystery Shack window and slipped through it, invisible to the humans' eyes. No one in the room seemed to notice he was floating above them. At the corner of his eye he saw a small boy carrying a large box with effort.
Dipper grunted as he made his way through the shack with a heavy box of merchandise. He bit his lips as he tried to keep himself steady without dropping anything on the floor.
He entered the gift shop and saw his friend Wendy selling a T-shirt to an old man. She looked over to him and smiled.
"Hey Dipper, need any help?" she asked.
Dipper shook his head. "No thanks, I've got this." with a loud grunt, he dropped the box near the counter and began stoking the shelves.
It's been four weeks since he and Mabel started living with shack's owner, Stan Pines and became friends with Wendy and Soos who worked there. With their help, the twins managed to escape a group of black suited men who've been after them for months.
Sighing, he grabbed another snow globe and placed it on the shelf.
Wendy meanwhile was reading her magazine with a bored expression when she noticed the dark rings under Dipper's eyes. His skin was also paler than usual which worried her.
"You okay, man? You don't look good." She said and gestured to his face.
Dipper shrugged. "I'm just tired. Don't worry, I'll be fine once I got some sleep tonight." He stated.
Wendy grinned. "Well you better because right now you look like you're half dead." She said jokingly. The two friends both laughed at this.
Only Bill noticed when Dipper's eyes flashed blue for a second before returning to normal which caused him to smile.

Later that night, Dipper woke up by the sound of thunder from outside. He looked over to the attic window and saw rain pouring down heavily.
Sighing, he glanced over to his sister's bed where she slept and smiled before making his way downstairs to the kitchen for a drink.
He filled a glass with water and poured it down his dry throat.
"Hey there!" A voice said from behind him. Dipper yelped in surprise and dropped the glass into the floor, shattering it into pieces.
"W-Who said that!?" Dipper asked nervously. The voice chuckled lightly.
"You mean you haven't recognized me? And here I thought you were smarter than that, Pine Tree." He said.
"Pine tree?" Dipper murmured under his breath, and then it hit him. "Bill!?" he muttered.
Bill smiled and became visible to Dipper. The dream demon looked amused at seeing him.
"Hello, kid! It's been a while, hasn't? Enjoying your stay?" Bill asked.
Dipper scowled. "What do you want Bill? If this is about making a deal, I told you I don't want to!" he shouted.
Bill smirked. "Oh I'm not here to make a deal, kid. I'm here for you." He said and raised his hands in the air.
Suddenly, gravity failed around the preteen and he was lifted in the air by unseen force in front of Bill.
"Hey, put me down!" he exclaimed.

The sound of glass shattering awoke Stan from his sleep. Confused, he stood up and made his way to the twins' bedroom. He opened the door and looked inside. Mabel was sleeping peacefully in her bed while Dipper was nowhere to be found…
Stan raised an eye brow at this and hurried downstairs.
If the kid was messing around this late at night he's going be in so much trouble. He thought as stepped into the kitchen only to gasp in shock when saw what was happening.
"LET. ME. GO!" Dipper was thrashing and struggling in the air trying to break free from Bill's invisible grip, but all his attempts were fruitless.
Stan recovered from his shock and scowled. "Put him down, Cipher!" he growled angrily.
"Sorry Stanford, but I've waited too long for this and I can't have you ruining my plans." Bill replied.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Mabel just then came in rubbing her tired eyes only to stare in horror at what she was. "Dipper!" she quickly ran to him only to slam into an invisible wall.
Mabel groaned and glared up to Bill. "What are you doing? Leave my brother alone, you big jerk!" her eyes then searched the kitchen for anything she could use to help her brother out. Thinking fast, she grabbed a pan from the table and flung at Bill. To their surprise, it went right through him instead as if his body wasn't made of solid material.
"Nice try, Shooting star!" he chuckled. "But Pine Tree is coming with me." With that said, Bill's body began glowing brightly.
"Dipper no!" Mabel cried. There was a flash of blinding light causing Mabel and Stan to cover their eyes from it.
When the light faded Bill and Dipper were gone.
