So here is chapter two, its hastily cooked up since I have exams tommorow. Mosly character introductions. Read and review

"So you are joining us? That's a surprise. Many are about to apply to new companies and you are joining" Ino told.

"Ya, I know, but I have always been doing things my way. I hope to save the company if I can." Naruto was words were brimming with determination.

"Ji-san told me to show you all the departments. This is the first one" she said coming to stop in front of a door. Clicks of a mouse and tapping son keyboards could be heard from the room. "This is the 1st development team's room." She added before opening.

The door opened into a hall having many computer desks and people working on them. Everyone turned to face the new entrance. Ino put on a peppy smile and said "Hey guys, this is the new sales manager Naruto Uzumaki". Two figures immersed in work suddenly looked up, a lady with pink hair, and a black and white pantsuit said "Naruto? Is that you?"

"Oh! Sakura-Chan I thought I would not see you again. Any idea where teme is?"

"I am right here Naruto" A man in a black tuxedo, white shirt and a golden tie replied. His hair was black and so were his eye.

"You seem to know Sakura-Chan and Sasuke-Kun already Uzumaki-san" A rather plump person in a red T shirt and blazer stated. "I'm Choji Akimichi by the way"

The next seemed to be a rather timid girl in a blue baggy jacket. "H….hello U..uzumaki-san. My n..name is H…hinata Hyuuga. I l…look forward to w…working w…with you." She somehow managed to blurt it out all the while poking her index fingers and looking down.

Naruto smile turned even bright "Hi guys, You can call me Naruto. Teme, Sakura Chan and I were together at the college so I know them. I look forward to working with you guys too."

Ino turned back. " We won't disturb you guys any longer and I have to show Uzumaki-san the other departments too."

"Please call me Naruto only Ino-Chan" Naruto retorted.

I am already Chan too? Ino wondered.

"Ok Naruto-kun lets go."

The next department was the 2nd development department. Before entering Naruto asked Ino. "How come this room is so quiet Ino-Chan?"

"That is a part of your job Naruto-kun. Even though we have two development teams there is only one order right now. So only the first team is working."

"Hmm…"

"Well, here we go" Ino said as she opened the door. The room was almost identical to the first one. Only this time everyone seemed to be silently using their phones. Their attention diverted to Ino as she opened the door.

"Hey guys! We have a new colleague!" Soon introductions were in order. The head of the team was Neji Hyuuga. He seemed to be somewhat of an ass to Naruto. Then there was a Tenten Higurashi, she seemed very pleasant to Naruto although he felt that she had a crush on Neji. Wild and free, Kiba inzuka seemed to be Naruto's kind of person while Rock lee whose attire and attitude were a bit …..youthful.

Next was the Accounting department. There were only two members. Both were rather silent and looked serious. Naruto learned that their names were Shino Aburame and Shiho Mitoku.

Last of all was Sales Department. As they reached its door, Ino said "This is your department. You have a member in your team. He is actually very smart but lazy. He turned down the Manager post citing Too Much Responsibilty" Ino put the last three words in air brackets.

Naruto laughed "Funny sorta guys, but sounds familiar, is his name Shikamaru Naraby any chance?" He asked in laughter.

"Huh! How do you know Shika?"

"Wait, so Shika is actually here. Nice I get teme, Sakura-chan and Shika as colleagues. Must be my lucky day. And I met him because he was the last competitor for last year's Chemdard Awards competions.

"Oh! You were the one Shika told me was using strange Algorithms for the program!"

"Shika mentioned me. Nice. And by the way are you a computer engineer too. You seem to know about algorithms and stuff."

"Yup, everyone here is a computer engineer. Even Shino ad Shiho"

"Wow! That's nice"

Ino opened the door. Someone seemed to be snoring on one of the two desks. This set off many tick marks on Ino's forhead as she went and bonked the figure. "SHIKAMARU, YOU LAZY ASS! HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD I TELL YOU NOT TO SLEEP IN WORK HOURS" she screamed.

Man, this female is scary when she wants to be. Naruto thought.

"Go away Ino, it's not like there is anything to do here" Ino face seemed to be gaining a new mode of anger so Naruto decided to save his subordinate. "Oi Shika, it's me Naruto."

This time Shikamaru opened one eye. Then he closed it for a second as if in deep thought as if deep thought. As he opened his eye, he spoke "Naruto, you troublesome guy, I bet you are here to be my new manager. Only a troublesome guy like you could join this sort of a company. But I suppose it is a good thing. If you are here perhaps we have a chance."

This set of many thoughts in Ino's head. Even Shika thinks this guy can change things. Sasuke and Sakura seemed to be a bit calmer since they saw him. I could see their tension ebb away from when they met him. What is he? " Are you joining today Naruto-kun?" she asked .

"yup, right away" He replied. "Shika, this is my desk right? Get me the Sales files of the past two years fast."

"Naruto, you troublesome guy, You just come and you give me work Cut me some slack."

"you are always cutting yourself lots of slacks Shika, now get to work I want some background Info before I start working, So brief me on the current condition also." He said with a grin.

Ino was glad that someone was putting Shika to work. She told Naruto " Good work with Shika Naruto, I will bring some forms to you. You have to fill them and turn them in to me. Personal info and stuff like that."

"Ok and Ino-chan do me a favour and tell Sauke-teme and Sakura-chan to wait for me after hours. Will you?"

"Sure. Why do you call Sauke-kun teme Naruto-kun?"

"Oh! When we first met I was annoyed by his emo-ness and started calling him that, then I got used to it."

This set off giggles from Ino. "Ok then I will bring the forms." And she left.

Naruto and Shikamaru were lost in business talk too. Naruto learned that the current condition was very bad, worse than he imagined. Shikamaru told him that almost all the companies he approached cited the kyuubi attack and its aftereffects and deemed them unreliable.

"This is troublesome as you call it Shika" Naruto said with a smile.

"So, what is your plan Naruto?" Shika asked with a serious face.

"I need to think a bit Shika, but I have a vague Idea. First of all we have to regain our reputation. Otherwise we are doomed."

Working times at the Will of Fire was from 6 am to 4pm with an hour break at noon. So by 4 a knock sounded at the door of the sales department.

"Just get in guys." It was Shikamaru who answered.

Sakura entered to see a half asleep Shikamaru and a snoring Naruto on their desks.
