Greetings to all the readers out there! Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Aura Guardian 03, originally just known as Aura Guardian. I admit this is my first story here on , but I promise to write it with the best of my abilities. Anyways, I'd like to give credit and thanks to aboz567, Ejennings167, StarShine65, Mightyena's Shadow, TheCartoonFanatic01, and many more authors I can't fit into this, for inspiring me to begin writing fanfictions. Nevertheless, I hope you all stick to the story. It'll be a long ride, but it'll bea good one. So please, sit back, relax, comment, review, and most importantly, enjoy!

Chapter 1: Betrayal and Disappearance

(Ash's POV)

The cold snow landed softly on and around me as my breath quickly crystallizes in front of me. Everywhere I looked around me was sorrounded by a soft, thick, white blanket of snow, save for a dark hole on a mountain side, which was where I've lived for the past 3 years. I stared down at my faithful partner and loyal friend. It was a small yellow mouse with brown stripes on it's back, two red spots on it's cheeks, and a lightning bolt shaped tail. Pikachu was my number one partner and my best friend. "Friends..." I murmured quietly.

*flashback*

I ran through the cold rain as it patterned on my skin. The voices of friends, no memories, echoed in my head. "You can't win a league, just give up already!" "You were lucky you beat me that one time, or I would've one that league, unlike you!" "It's hopeless! You can't win a league! Just accept that already!" Tears streaming down my face, I continued running to the one place I knew where I could have solitude, one place where nobody would find me: Mt. Silver. Earlier, before running away from Pallet Town, I snuck into Professor Oak's lab and grabbed all my Pokemon quickly without anyone realizing it. That day, I left my past behind, and I left my so called friends as well. Not all of them betrayed me, I still had true friends, like Brock, Serena, Clemont, Gary, and a few more. But for the better good of it all, I left it all, hoping to have a new fresh start as a trainer named Satoshi.

(Flashback ends)

I walked slowly back into my cave, Pikachu quietly trailing behind me. As I re-entered the cave, a dog like Pokemon with blue and cream fur with black paws and legs, sat cross legged. "Something wrong master?" It spoke through telepathy. "No," I replied to the Aura Pokemon, "but I think it's finally time to return back to the world Lucario." It simply modded as it returned back to its meditation state. "Finally, I will return, but nobody will remember me, and when I show my new found strength to the world, I will finally have my revenge, and prove to the worl just how strong I really can be. And when I return, I'll make sure Giovanni gets one last visit..."
