Kristoff frowned into the phone as yet another customer cancelled their membership. He had been working at the gym for a good few years now and had worked his way up. He was proud of his position and how far he had come. He still had a long way to go before he owned his own gym, but hey, a guy could dream. Still, lately a lot of their customers had been cancelling their memberships and it was worrying him. At first he had thought it was because of the typical New Year rush, but it was now March and there were still cancellations every week.

On one of his days off, he decided to find out why this was happening. He still went to the gym to work out (hey, it was free for him too) and casually chatted to a customer.

"Hey, I haven't seen Tony around lately." Kristoff mentioned to one of the regulars.

"Oh yeah, ever since that bakery opened, he couldn't stop himself." The customer replied. "Not that I blame him, those cakes are delicious!"

"Bakery.." Kristoff grumbled under his breath.

As soon as he finished his workout, he figured it was time to pay this bakery a visit. He didn't know what could be so special about a bakery. There were tons of them around town. Surely a bakery couldn't be the reason for all these cancellations?

He found the bakery in no time, it was a two minute walk from the gym. He never paid attention to the shops around here, but he knew this was the right one since it proclaimed "NEWEST BAKERY IN TOWN" in the window. He scoffed. Then he saw the name and scoffed even harder. The bakery was named 'Let It Dough' so far, he was unimpressed.

He entered Let It Dough and sure enough, there was Tony amongst some other previous regulars. Tony saw him and waved him over. "Hey, Kristoff, never thought I'd see you in a place like this."

"No, neither did I." He replied, completely deadpan.

"What brings you here? Is it this wonderful pastry?" Tony gestured to his full plate.

"Actually no, I've come to see where all my regulars go instead of the gym." Tony and the others at least had the decency to look a little shameful.

Kristoff wandered to the counter. A pretty blonde girl was serving. "May I help you?"

"Are you the owner?"

The girl looked a little taken aback but composed herself. "No, I'm the owners sister. Would you like me to get her for you?"

"Yes, please." He tried to sound more polite but he was frustrated.

It didn't take long for the owner to come out from the back room. Kristoff was still tapping his fingers on the glass and staring at the ceiling.

The manager coughed politely. "I believe you requested me."

He looked down from the ceiling to her face and did a double take. She was gorgeous. She had full rosy red cheeks with freckles sprinkled across her face. Lovely ginger hair that was tied back into braids and the most beautiful blue eyes he had ever seen.

So of course the first thing he said to her was "why are you taking all my customers?" In a very aggressive tone. Way to make a first impression.

She blushed and looked around the bakery seeing people staring. "I think it's best if we take this out the back." She replied calmly.

Kristoff followed her to what was clearly her office. It was a little cluttered but also decorated with lots of cutesy things. She sat down at the desk and gestured to the other seat.

"What seems to be the problem, Mr.. Erm.."

"Bjorgman. But you can call me Kristoff."

"Kristoff, okay. I'm Anna." She held her hand out for him to shake and he did so awkwardly. "So I'm losing you customers?"

"Well not me, technically, the gym where I work. It's down the road."

"I've been past it. Obviously not in it. The gym is not my thing. Not that there's anything wrong with the gym of course." She seemed flustered and he felt embarrassed for making her feel that way.

"No. Well, yes. But the thing is, people keep cancelling their memberships and it's all because of this place. Don't believe me, ask them. All my old regulars are here."

"Well I never asked them to quit."

"I know. But if I don't do well in this job, I'll never own my own gym one day." He sighed. He had no idea why he was telling this to a virtual stranger but it wasn't like this day could get any worse.

"You know, I worked so hard to get this bakery. I baked every day and night, went to bakery lessons for years, worked a million jobs at once just so I could save up the money. When I found this building in the shape that it was and immediately brought it, everyone thought I was crazy. But I did it. And so will you." He looked at her in awe. This girl had inspired him more in the last 30 seconds than anyone had in the last few years.

"Look, I'm really sorry your customers are cancelling on you. That was never my intention. But I'll make you a deal; I'll put up your gym posters and tell them off if they're here for too long if you..." She trailed off blushing.

"If I what?" He wondered.

"If you agree to go on a date with me." He looked at her stunned. This gorgeous inspiring girl wanted to go on a date with him?!

He smiled at her. "I'll pick you up at 7?"

"That would be perfect."

"Just do me one more favour though?" She looked at him curiously. "If anything does become of this" he pointed between the two of them "and I do get my own gym, could you remind me to not have it anywhere near one of your bakeries?"

She grinned at him. "I'll see you at 7." Was all she said in return.
