Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail, or the Naruto ideas, or the Dungeon and Dragons characters that crossover into the story. Just the original ideas and OC.

First and foremost: This story is rated M mostly violence and language. While there are a few situations that could be considered slightly sexual, there are no lemons in this story.

Author's Notes: My first story ever. I been watching Fairy Tail for a while and I feel Romeo should have a bigger part in the story. It seen he always getting overshadow by Wendy who while is kinda 19 is still the mind and body of a 12-year-old. It seems the only reason characters like Chelia and Wendy get involve in the more dangerous stuff in Fairy Tail is cause they both have a Slayer type magic. So what if Romeo had the same type of magic, would he played a more important role? Rated M (borderline for the most part until later. If you feel that it should be Rated T PM me.) for violence, language, and situations. Also, while the main pairing is Romeo and Wendy (Rowen), (maybe?), there will be other girls vying for Romeo's attention. Also seeing how this is my first story, Positive Feedback and Constructive Criticism would be most welcome. No Flames please.

This Chapter has been Beta by KittyCrow12 author of the wonderful Fairy Tail story "Hey There", give it a read if you have the chance.

"Doing bad things doesn't automatically make you a bad person, it doesn't justifies the bad things you're doing though either. It's when you start to enjoy doing the bad things that you become a bad person." The moral of this story.

You should read my other story, Romeo Conbolt: Fire Incarnate, basically Romeo gifted in learning different types of fire base magics

Chapter 1

The Joining

Teardrops.

Falling like the rain.

That's what was running Romeo's face as he sat down in the middle of the woods near Magnolia. The reasoning was self-explanatory; the Magic Council had just sent an envoy, Mest of all people for some reason, explaining to the guild what happened at Tenrou Island a few days ago. Big Brother Natsu, Big Sister Lucy, Happy, Wendy and the others all gone in the blink of an eye.

Just like that.

Macao took the news the hardest. He was worried about how the guild was going to survive seeing that they had just lost Master Makarov and the strongest members.

Romeo took off crying after that and kept running until he grew tired. "How could I care about that at a time like this?!" were Romeo's thoughts at the time.

"Why?"

"What did we do to deserve this?"

Romeo spent so much time crying that it wasn't until later that he realized that it was pitch dark outside except for the light of the full moon. "Dad must be worried sick about me," he thought as he got up and started to head back, only to realize that he had no clue how to get back home. The boy fumbled around in the darkness for what seemed like hours, searching for anything that could set him back on the right path to Magnolia. He was getting cold and hungry, and more scared by the second.

All of a sudden, he heard a rustle in the trees in front of him; something was coming. Romeo's ability to sense magic was low due to his age, but even he could sense that whoever it was had a massive magical presence and a sinister aura that came with it.

His inner instincts only told him one word.

RUN.

Romeo's POV

Fear overtook all reasonable thought as I took off running deeper into the forest. I didn't care that I was getting more lost the farther I ran; I just wanted to get away from whatever was approaching. What used to be tears of pain and loss soon became tears of fear, along with sweat. I soon came up to the mouth of a cave.

Not just any cave, but a huge one. Master Makarov could have been in his Giant form and still fit in this place. But there was no time to ponder on that because the creature, or whatever it was, was still coming, I could hear it. As I took off deeper into the cave, my face ended up meeting the ground. Clutching my face in pain, I turned to see what I had tripped over. It was a giant footprint, shaped like the ones I had seen in Levy's books that she showed me every now and then. Something then appeared at the mouth of the cave; it was about the same size as Natsu-nii, and was covered in a cloak so I couldn't make out their face. After a brief moment, they spoke.

"Ah, there you are. I must say, it took me a while to get here, but you're exactly where my master said you would be."

The voice was male, and there was a dark, powerful tone to it. For some reason, I got the strange feeling that he wasn't talking to me. In fact, I wasn't sure if he had even noticed I was here because he was looking straight past me.

"Well, I'm on a busy schedule so I'll get right down to business. The other pawn is here as well." He then turned to look at me.

I saw him bring a large object out from underneath his cloak that looked like a large black orb. Even at my young age I could feel it power. As I stared at it, I felt like I was staring into an endless void.

"Turn around boy," the man said.

I felt my body move on its own as I turned to peer into the darkness of the cave. Then out of nowhere, two large white lights suddenly appeared and stared at me. Without warning, I felt a rush of hot air coming from their direction and was almost blown back.

"I hope you two learn to get along because you're going to be real close for a while. Oh, who am I kidding? You won't be able to talk to one another," the hooded figure said as I felt a quick burst of agonizing pain and my world started to go dark. The last thing I heard before I was engulfed by the shadows was…

"Soon the plan will come to fruition, and a new world will be born."

OMAKE:

Romeo: "So why you got me in a story with Acnologia?"

Me: "Did you not read the author's notes on the top? Because I believe you have potential as a character that few people expand on.

Romeo: "But why Acnologia?"

Me: "Why does everyone else put Natsu and Lucy with him?"

Romeo: *Thinking hard on the subject* I can't think of a reason.

A/N: Romeo will be a little smarter in this story than usual. Not genius, but slightly above average and more observant for his age.
