I only own my OCs:

Hara, Hikari, and Kuro

Snowy Kidnapping

Riku sat on the couch, watching TV when he felt something bump against his leg. "What are you up to?"

His 8 month old son, Kuro Terra Tsuchi, was gripping his leg, trying to pull himself up towards his dad. "Da-da-da-da!" His brown eyes glittered happily at his dad.

"Ok, come here," picking up the boy, he bounced him on his knee. He looked up as a knock came on the front door. "It's open!"

King Mickey strode in, smiling at his friend. "Hi there, Riku!"

"Hi Mickey."

Kuro reached out for the mouse. "Mi-mi-mi-mi."

"Aw," the king chuckled, "He's trying to say my name."

"Yes, he is… is something up?"

Mickey sighed. "Goofy caught a cold and we need someone to take his patrol."

"Well, Kari's at school and Hara's out with Clarabella, Patricia, and Clara…" Riku said thoughtfully, "I'll have to bring Kuro, here, with me."

Mickey smiled. "It's always quiet so, it probably won't hurt.

"You're right… I'll be there in half an hour."

Kuro rested in the sling across Riku's chest. The baby gurgled and made little noises, making his dad smile. Riku held his son close due to the cold weather; it wasn't snowing but, the white powder was all around their feet.

Things were quiet, as usual, until Riku spotted a lone, tall figure scaling the castle walls to the courtyard. Anyone in Disney Town would recognize him… "Mortimer…" His eyes drifted down to his son; he hated confronting anyone with Kuro nearby but… "Hara's gonna kill me…"

He leapt down, the snow and an Aero spell softening his decent. He strode up behind the rat who was now looking through the castle windows. Kuro spotted the intruder and cried. "Ba-ba-ba-ba!"

"What!?" Mortimer turned, jaw dropping as he saw Riku and the baby. "Oh Riku… and a little brat…" His mouth formed a big toothy grin. "Ha-cha-cha! You're not so scary with a little baby on you."

"I can still take you in. You've been warned about this, Mortimer! Queen Minnie is completely off-limits!"

"For now…" the rat grinned.

Riku's eyes narrowed. "That's enough!"

"So you think…"

Riku had no time to react as a dark figure leapt down upon him, knocking him out.

Riku awoke, lying face-down in the snow. "Uh… what…?" His hands went to the sling where Kuro had been… it was empty… "Kuro!"

Oh, Hara was so going to kill him…

Mortimer covered his ears as the baby continued to cry. "Did we have to take the brat?"

"Of course," Negaduck scoffed, "he's valuable. If the group of us wish to overthrow Mickey, we'll need all the leverage we can get."

"But this is Riku's son!"

"So what?" Asked the Bushroot

Negaduck adjusted his hat, "That only makes him more valuable. If you wanna start being a big-time villain, you've gotta take some risks."

The rat sighed. "We just took the son of a Keyblade wielder. If we get caught, we'll be imprisoned for life, no parole! Banished! Like Pete!"

"Calm down," the Magica De Spell waved a hand, "we just need to accelerate our plans. We strike, tonight!"

Megavolt chuckled, "And, as long as we have the little brat, Riku will do whatever we say."

"Yea!" Liquidator agreed, "He'll be at our mercy."

"Ha, ha! We could even make him defeat Mickey for us!" Quackerjack laughed.

Kuro lay on his stomach, on the floor, crying… He eventually stopped. The baby began crawling, wanting to find his dad. His captors were too busy planning to notice him crawling out the, partially, open door.

As soon as the infant touched the snow, he drew back; it was too cold. However, there was a path cleared along the sidewalk. Kuro began crawling down it and away from the old, dilapidated house where he had been.

He stopped as a little flake of snow landed on his face. He didn't like this. More snow fell and began covering his head. Kuro really didn't like this… tears filled his eyes as he began to cry again.

"Finally! The brat shut up!" Mortimer sighed.

Negaduck raised an eyebrow. "It's a little too quiet, don't you think so, Magica?"

The female duck walked to where they left the baby. "It's too late… the brat's gone!"

"Doh! I knew this would happen!" the orange-clad duck glared at Quackerjack, "I told you to watch him!"

"We need to find him now!" the villains dashed out the door.

Riku, Mickey, and Donald were out searching for the little boy, and even Goofy, despite his cold, came out to help his friend. "Did you guys find him?"

"Sorry, Riku. We looked everywhere."

The man laid his head in his hands. "I've got to find him… who knows who has him and what they're doing to him."

Goofy's ears perked up. "Hey, listen!" They all went silent and they heard the sound of a baby crying.

"Come on!"

They ran through the town until they came around a corner and saw Kuro sitting in the snow. "Kuro!"

"Da!" the boy's frown turned into a wide smile as he reached for his dad.

Riku ran to his son but froze as an orange foot stepped between him and his son. "Sorry, Keybearer, this little guy's not going anywhere."

"Negaduck! Let the kid go!" Mickey summoned his Keyblade.

Riku brandished his weapon. "If you don't let my son go I'll…"

"You'll do what?" Bushroot picked up the child.

The Keyblade wielder's anger was blazing. His son whimpered and began to cry. "Da-da!"

"I've dealt with enemies much more powerful than you on a daily basis. You're lucky I'm not beating all of you into bloody pulps for taking my son. Now… let him GO!"

"How about…" Negaduck whipped out a chainsaw. "No!"

Riku pointed his Keyblade and shot a Dark Firaga into the snow, causing steam to rise and fill the air, making it impossible to see. "Hey! Where'd he go?"

"It's a trick!"

"Give me the brat!"

"Huh? I thought you already took him…"

"YOU IDIOT!"

An Aeroza spell cleared away the steam and they could see Kuro in Riku's arms. The baby nuzzling his father happily. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy had them surrounded. "Now give up!"

"Never!"

"STOPZA!" The spell froze them all in place. Mickey turned to Riku. "Is he alright?"

"He's just fine…" Riku smoothed his son's hair, choking back the tears of joy that threated to come to his eyes as the baby pulled on his vest. He was just happy to have Kuro back and safe.

"Good…"

Kuro scrunched up his face and sneezed. "Uh oh… I probably need to get him home and give him something so he doesn't get sick."

The king nodded. "Sounds good. We can handle getting these guys to prison and, rest assured, they'll serve a good long sentence for kidnapping your son."

"Good." He pulled his son closer, to keep him warm and just to remind Riku that he was safe in his arms. "Come on, kiddo, let's get you home…"

Riku had learned to make potions after working at the castle. He whipped one up that was safe for infants and would prevent Kuro from becoming sick after being in the cold. He poured the green potion in a bottle and began feeding it the baby.

Kuro drank it heartily because, Riku mixed it to taste like milk. A soft green glow covered the little boy when he was finished. The baby burped and nuzzled against his dad's chest before falling asleep.

Riku held his son close, stroking his silver hair.

His eyes lifted up as the front door opened and his wife and daughter entered. "Hi Daddy!"

"Shh… your brother's sleeping."

The girl covered her mouth before whispering. "Sorry…"

"You must have tired him out," Hara smiled but, her smile faded as she noticed the bottle with some drops of the potion still in it. "Riku… did something happen?"

His eyes widened, slowly. "If I tell you, promise you won't kill me…"

To clarify! Riku's kids are named Hikari (light) and Kuro (darkness) to represent the two sides that Riku once stood on and the two battle forms that go with the path of dawn.

This chapter takes place 10 months before KH4 so, Kuro will be 18 months in KH4!

So this is the last kid… as soon as Final Stand is done, I'll put up the first chapter of New Light.

If you would like, go check out my Deviantart account; I've put up pictures of each of the children (Kuro's will be put up in the morning).
