Yes I updated...and I'm sorry it took so long
I didn't know if this fic was any good or what to do with it
Anyway I hope you like it and please review :)
Kisshu padded out of the bathroom quietly. He had needed that shower after being out in the freezing cold rain. Thankfully his kind was able to endure such things; but even cats had a limit to what they can handle.
They could keep warm and dry with their fur and was fast little things. But even they couldn't go without food, water and a warm place to sleep. They were still vulnerable to danger and enemies that would do them harm.
"I wonder if she ate at all? She looked really thin" he pondered to himself. How humans could treat animals so badly was beyond his understanding. Given the state she was in when he found her he guessed not.
Before humans evolved the planet was much more lush and clean. There was more wildlife and humanity was less advanced but more aware of the environment. Now they cut down trees, built machines, abused animals who served beside them and cared little for the harm they caused. How had they Un-evolved so badly?
They started wars with weapons capable of destroying each other and even their own planet. They killed, stole, robbed, burned down homes, raped, robbed and committed crimes. How had they become such stupid violent creatures even with how advanced their kind was becoming? It made no sense at all.
He opened the door quietly wrapping his lower body in a short towel and drying his hair with another. Given it was his room he could walk about however he seemed fit. After eating he could relax on his bed and think with Ebonina by his side to keep him company.
"Kitty? You awake?" Kisshu called gently in case she was asleep. Given all she had been through tonight it wasn't exactly surprising. Right now sleep would be the best thing to get her healed faster.
However she was in better shape than she had been earlier. Her injuries were patched up and she had been given a good scrub over. However he wasn't ready to let her go yet; not until she was 100% healed.
He heard a gentle mew from the bed and saw Ebonina looking up at him sleepily. She had taken a nap while he was in the shower and just woke up. God she looked so cute when she was half asleep.
The bed was soft and warm and smelled like him. It was comforting to Ichigo and she sensed that he wouldn't do her any harm. However she was still worried about Pai and Taruto and what they would do. Unlike Kisshu they didn't seem to think before they acted; they just believed them to be the enemy and should just die.
"I hope I didn't shed too much on his bed. Kisshu has been so kind to me and it wouldn't be nice" Ichigo thought to herself worriedly. She knew cats shed their fur which made a mess; and after all he had done that would be rude.
The one thing she hated about being a cat was she was weaker and less useful. In this form she caused more problems than it was worth. The amount of times she had gotten lost on her way home. Gotten bullied by other animals; hell on one occasion almost raped by another cat. God being a cat was no easy feat.
She had great respect for cats dealing with what they did on a daily life. Everything was a danger to them yet they took the risks and showed courage. Unless you were a wild cat from the great planes or the Arctic; then you were completely useless.
Kisshu smiled and approached the bed drying his hair as he did so. He was glad she had perked up was feeling better than she had earlier. "Glad to see you're feeling better kitty. Cute little things like you should be loved not hated" He said fondly stroking her head.
He could never understand why humans would buy animals to pet; only to treat them badly and abuse them. They were such a confusing breed to him; and they hated their own planet too. It seemed most of their breed were incapable of love or positive feelings and only knew how to be cruel.
Ichigo purred as the green haired Alien stroked her head affectionately. He was really good with his fingers and knew exactly where she liked it. "This feels nice; I could stay like this forever" Ichigo thought to herself as more purrs escaped her throat.
She had learned after turning into cat so many times that different parts of her body had sensitive areas. There were some places she didn't like to be touched and others she did; on top of that her senses had doubled.
Kisshu chuckled as the small black kitten responded to his touch. She was really friendly and loved affection; he wondered if she had gotten lost rather than abandoned. While he knew it was only right to send her home back where she belonged. He didn't want to; she was too cute to let go of. If Pai permitted it he would keep her and adopt her as his own.
Eventually he stopped petting her and pulled the wet towel from his head letting it fall to the floor. He needed to pull on some clothes and sort out dinner. He knew he had a blank tank top somewhere and shorts.
Ichigo stiffened as the green haired alien removed his towel. She had never seen such an amazing body before; even on Masaya or Ryou. Granted he was somewhat underweight (which was because of harsh living conditions back home) but his body was well toned and built for a guy. All those years of training really did him some good.
She could understand why the Aliens would attack earth and try to claim it. The living conditions were better, more food and good resources to cultivate. If his home was in such a bad state it made sense to want to bring them to her planet.
"Maybe we can get them to join earth. Granted it will take some time but we have large areas they can live" Ichigo thought to herself.
While the aliens didn't seem to believe it; not all Humans were cruel and ignorant. Yes a few of them made mistakes but they were genuine human beings. They cared about the welfare of others regardless of race, gender or sexuality. They protected them and made sure they were treated with equal respect.
All the aliens would have to do is camouflage to look like humans and then they could fit in. Homo-sapiens didn't have pointy ears like Kisshu's species did; so it would be obvious they were aliens. But if they hid them then nobody would know and they could live together in harmony.
Kisshu saw the cat staring at him and smirked "Like what you see Kitty?" he teased cheekily. At least she had good taste for a cat; if only Ichigo could see that. But it made him happy to know that other female breeds found him attractive.
Ichigo blushed wildly upon being caught. Now she looked like some form of pervert gawking at a half naked guy. "Crap now I look like a pervert! I wasn't staring at him. He just looks so malnourished" she yelled mentally in panic.
Her first instinct was to find food and force him to eat it. Using her big eyes to seduce him into it would be no problem. Nobody could refuse the innocent gaze of a fluffy kitty cat. Also it would help her not look like a damn pervert. How did she always seem to get herself into awkward or uncomfortable situations without meaning to?
Kisshu chuckled cheekily "If only Ichigo was like you Ebonina; you really seem to like me" he said playfully his tone hinting sadness. He loved the pink haired mew to the point it drove him crazy. She was so beautiful and her wild heart made his own race with passion. If only she could see that he loved her more than Masaya ever could.
However she continued to refuse him and throw abuse at him time after time. Pushing him away, hurting him and saying cruel things. He was so lonely and yet he couldn't stop loving her.
Ichigo saw the pain in his eyes and knew he was thinking of her. She really hated the fact that she caused him such pain but she believed him to be cruel and heartless.
Whenever they met he was causing some form of trouble and havoc. He was causing destruction and creating Chimera animals. However after learning of his situation she could understand his desire to fight for his kind.
She got up slowly and padded towards him. She jumped off the bed slowly and rubbed against his leg affectionately. She couldn't speak to him like this but she could still show she cared.
Kisshu was pleasantly surprised by the cat's affection towards him. He had soft spot for animals but didn't show it to not seem weak. As a child he had longed for a pet but had never been able to own one due to living on a desolate planet.
He knelt down and picked up the small cat holding her to his chest. She was soft and warm like a blanket with the most amazing eyes he had ever seen. "Sorry to make you worry Kitty. I'll be fine; I'm just a sympathetic loser" He chuckled sadly.
He never showed his weakness to anyone and only Pai and Taruto saw glimmers of it at best. He hated people seeing that he was secretly insecure and had emotions because they would pity and mock him.
He wasn't ashamed of those feelings; but he had to think of his people rather than his feelings. If he ignored them then he could focus at the task at hand and forget about his pain. Think of the mission, remember your people, forget about her.
Ichigo saw the sadness in his eyes and knew he was lying. She didn't want him to cry or to feel like it was his fault. She did care about Kisshu greatly but she also loved Masaya. He had done bad things that were unforgivable even to help his own kind.
But she could tell he wasn't a bad guy; he was capable of being a good person when he tried. But if they could work together and stop trying to destroy her home; then maybe they could work something out.
"Kisshu I'm sorry. I can't betray my people or Aoyama; but you are no less important to me" she thought to herself.
She sat up and leaned towards his face gently; she licked his cheek affectionately in attempt to cheer him up. It wasn't exactly a kiss but it was a form of affection to say the least.
She then leaned back into his arms quietly staring at him gently with her big pink eyes. She felt so bad that they were enemies and she wanted to change that. If by comforting Kisshu as a cat would help; so be it.
Kisshu was rather stunned by the cat's affection but found it cute. She definitely was intuitive and could read him well. Perhaps keeping her around wouldn't be so bad after all.
