Chapter 1: Manhattan
Librarians
Casandra, Stone, and Ezekiel were inside the annex, they had just returned with an artifact they had acquired from Texas, and then suddenly their clipping books all began to vibrate, and suddenly they all showed the same case. Three people had spotted a flying Pegasus in Manhattan, and they had also seen a strange light coming from the hills ever night. They looked up from their books, and then they went right to work. They walked through the magic doorway, and came out right in front of the Manhattan library. Then they set to work, they walked to the area where there had been a sighting of strange lights. And all they saw at first was a hill with a tree on it.
"Hmm, wait a minute something's off here. The dimensions don't make sense, something is here." Cassandra said.
"Hmm, I wonder…" Stone started.
They contacted Jenkins and he told them to use a spell.
"Try to harness the wild magic, use it to reveal the secrets." He said to them.
So the three started to cast a spell. Then after about an hour they finished casting the spell, and suddenly they saw something they did not expect. They saw a summer camp, with kids inside of it, but it seemed to have multiple things, including a lava climbing wall. At first no one noticed them, and then two kids seemed to notice them, and they ran off to a big house of some kind.
"Where did this place come from?" Ezekiel asked.
"It must have been hidden by a magic." Cassandra said.
Demigods
Jason had been having a normal day, they had defeated Gaea about a month ago and Leo had returned with Calypso. He was staying at camp half-blood to try and lend a hand to rebuilding and defense. But then as he was walking with Piper he noticed something.
"Hey Piper, look at that." Jason said pointing at the hill.
"What is it?" Piper asked.
"I'm not sure, but it looks like a group of people. And they're looking right at us."
"We should probably go warn Chiron incase they are hostile."
Then they both took off towards the big house, intent on warning Chiron.
"Chiron!" Jason said as he opened the door.
"Jason! Piper! What is it?" Chiron asked.
"There are three people who are observing us." Piper explained.
"Wait a minute, are they mortals?" Chiron asked again.
"Yes, but they can see us. What do we do?" Jason said.
"Hmm, take Leo and Calypso and investigate, see who they are and what they want." Chiron said.
Then Jason and Piper went off to retrieve Leo and Calypso from bunker 9. Since they had gotten back cabin 9 had been busy making a series of inventions detailed from the scroll of Archimedes. After convincing Leo and Calypso to come they slowly but surely went up the hill. Being careful not to alert the others to their presence. But even with their skills of stealth they were still spotted by the three adults. They looked like college kids, and as soon as they saw them they stopped talking.
"Who are you?" The first one asked.
"Who are you?" Jason replied.
"We're the librarians." He said.
Suddenly Calypso gasped.
"You know them?" Leo asked her.
"I've heard of them, they go around collecting magical artifacts that are too dangerous to be left alone, but I had no idea they still existed." Calypso replied.
"Wait a minute, Calypso as in the same one who was imprisoned on an island?" The second librarian asked.
"Yes, but why are you here." Calypso asked.
"We were led here, and some magical artifact is in the area." The third one said.
"There must be a major threat in the area, have we received any more prophesies?" Piper asked the others.
"Just one, but it makes no sense." Jason replied.
"Wait a minute, prophesies? Oh no…" The second one said.
"What is it?" The first one asked.
"I think I know what we're dealing with."
"What?" everyone asked.
"I think, yes the labyrinth." The second one said.
"Ugh not that place again." All of them said.
"Wait a minute what prophesy exactly did you get?" The third one asked.
"Three strangers around, the soulless arisen, the eternal maze, now unwritten. Fires of old shall break the twine, as the ancient texts do hold his mind." Piper quoted.
"Are there any entrances to the labyrinth?" The first one asked.
"Yeah, theres one in the forest. But you are not going in there alone. Look let us talk to our camp director and then we will come back for you at night fall. Ok?" Jason asked.
"Fine." After a few minutes they replied.
Then the four walked calmly to the big house and explain the situation to Chiron.
"Hmm, I think it would be wise to go meet with them." Chiron said.
"Do you really think its safe to go to the labyrinth?" Calypso asked.
"I'm not sure, but I do know that you four are the ones who are supposed to go." Chiron said.
"How do you know?" They all asked.
"Simple, you only quoted the first of the lines." Chiron said.
"What? I thought that was the full thing." Piper said.
"I did not wish to reveal the full prophesy until I could figure it out, but now it makes sense."
"What is the rest of it?" Leo asked nervously.
"Fire dying slowly out, dove and storm in the spout, a once immortal, immortal no more, as all take on the ancient doors."
"Will you authorize a quest into the labyrinth?" Jason asked.
"Yes, I will, but please be careful. I'm not sure if we can trust these 'librarians'." Chiron said.
"Alright, we'll gather supplies and we will leave as soon as its dark." Jason said.
"Any chance we can get Hazel and Frank to come along?" Piper asked.
"Hmm that would be wise, I suppose you should take them along too. Just be careful, there are a large amount of monsters who live within the labyrinth, with that many of you in one place it will be quite dangerous, be careful." Chiron warned.
"We will." Jason said.
And with that, they left each going off to their separate tasks. Piper went and convinced Hazel and Frank to come along, Leo and Calypso to acquire as many devices they believed to be useful they could get. And Jason went off to iris message Thalia of their quest. Little did they know, that there would be many old enemies within the Labryinth, many of which they would not be able to stop without help.
