The three women teach Jack more than he could have ever dreamed and he finds himself falling head over heels in love with one of them. All seems right in the world for Jack Skellington, but a dark mysterious evil has arisen to threaten everything Jack holds dear.

A cold sweat leaked across the man's face as he ran. He knew he wouldn't make it to the morning. The young man felt his bones ache and his side was pouring out blood. He ran deeper and deeper into the dark forest. The man kept a look out of his surroundings. The unfamiliar and dark place put the man on edge. He noticed the temperature drop significantly the warm summer night was replaced with a cool autumn chill. The tress were becoming sickly looking with rotted, broken and bare limbs. Leaf litter crunched under his feet. The young man pushed himself to keep running despite the fatigue he was feeling. He had been on the run for hours trying to find a safe haven in the forest but none was to be found. The young man thought he had seen a small light. A small orange glow. An answer to his prayers. The man tried to run faster toward the warmth. He dropped to the ground. He had tripped on the tree branch. Smacking the ground hard with a large thump. The man tried to get up off the ground. All his attempts in vain. The man let out one loud scream in agony, before he lost consciousness.

The young man slowly awoke. He felt as if he had been asleep for a thousand years. His bones ached but he could no longer feel his left arm or his heart. The man could no longer hear his heart beating. He strained his ears trying to hear the subtle thump that announces life. All he heard was silence and the soft sound of breathing. The man tried to raise himself up with his arms, he then noticed the absence of his left arm. As he rose his face from the dirt, the tip of his nose met the tip of a raspier.

"Give me a good reason why I shouldn't chop your head off and leave it to the goblins to find."

The man followed the tip of the raspier to the end, a black gloved hand gripped the handle tightly. He followed the gloved hand to an arm covered by orange fabric. Then he saw the owner of the rapier's face.
The brim of their cavalier hat pulled far over their face to conceal themselves from being recognized.

"Please don't." The young man croaked.

He saw the person smirk.

They drew their raspier back and Put it in its sheath. They then offered a hand to the young man which he hesitantly took.

"I don't bite." The person replied with a laugh.

When the man was finally standing upright he noticed he was quite a bit taller than the person in front of him.

The man further inspected the person. He finally saw that the person had a more delicate form like a females. Her black Cavalier hat was decorated with a few raven feathers sticking out from the brim of the hat on the left side. Orange was the color of her corset top with long sleeves. The young man found the symbol on her bosom very odd. It was a black pumpkin with the most peculiar grin, almost skeletal. Her pants were black and her boots were also. The man thought she looked like some gothic musketeer.

"I advise you not to stare." said the woman "I do have claws."

The man gulped. He did not like the sound of this woman's voice it was sweet sounding but all her words came out in flowing sarcasm. The woman looked up to meet his eyes. Her face was masked. It was the most decorative and macabre mask he had ever seen. It looked like a raven, the wings covered her eyes except for the two holes which reveled deep black eyes. The beak covered her nose. The resemblance to the bird was striking. The man wondered why this woman dressed so strangely.

"Do you have a name?" the oddly dressed woman asked him.

He opened his mouth to speak but then closed it. What was his name? He could not remember his own name. He thought it was silly but he felt his brain ache like more things were missing.
He frowned deeply and shook his head.

"No name huh" the woman said with a smirk." That's a shame"

She offered her hand to the man's right hand.

"Raven Nevermore is my name. Lieutenant General Raven Nevermore of the Royal Pumpkin Guard."

He took the outstretched hand and shook it.

"We might want to get out of the Forbidden Forest" Raven suggested after she took her hand back.

Raven turned around and began her trek out of the forest. The man stood there baffled. Raven had just left him alone in the forest and he had no idea where to go.

"You're supposed to be following me." Raven shouted from over her shoulder.

The man grabbed his arm and ran to catch up to the mysterious Raven.
