Gravity Falls Episode Prediction
This is a new segment where I right short stories on my thought-out and random guesses for upcoming Gravity Falls episodes. Please note that I'm drawing my predictions on my thoughts, hopes, trailers and the secret codes solely. Fanfictions and fanarts I've seen may have an effect on this as well.
This will not have predictions for everything about the show. Some questions will not be brought up, judging upon where the episode might lead.
'Not what He Seems'
Season 2, Episode 11
Grunkle Stan was monitoring the Portal Machine deep within his secret basement. "Everything's going perfectly." He sipped from his mug reading 'Best Grunkle' with the Gr written on with marker. "Soon my goal will be accomplished." He leaned on his chair, watching the portal and thinking about what it's capable of. "It is dangerous, but I have to do this, and no one will stand in my way."
As he glanced around the empty nuclear waste containers, he stopped to looked at a picture of both Dipper and Mabel Pines. He picked the photo up and observed their happy faces. He smiled to himself as he remembers fond memories of their time together this summer. "You kids are great."
Stan placed the picture down and looked through the first two volumes of the six-fingered journals. He looked over the machine layouts and carefully examined safety procedures. Seeing how dangerous this machine was, he thought back about the promise he and Dipper made after the zombie attack, the one where he hadn't truly fulfilled. "That kid knows nothing …. He probably crossed his fingers too." Even if Dipper's curiosity can lead to deadly actions, he couldn't help but smile to himself. "Just like me." He closed the book and looked deeply at the volume 1 journal. "Just like me."
Has he taken another sip, someone knocked on the door with a secret code. "About time." Stan walked to the door and checked a security camera before letting the person in. "You made sure no one saw you, right?"
The person responded yes. "Don't sweat it, Mr. Pines. The twins are at the Northwest Party. I heard they've let all the common folks in this time." the person was Soos, holding a box of diamonds. "So where you want these props of fake diamonds that look pretty real to me?"
Stan laughed at Soos's comment. "Just put them ….. the Northwest what?!" He put his question on hold when the machine made a loud noise. "Never mind, just give me those."
Soos gave Stan the diamonds and Stan threw them into a machine that looks like it was feeding off them. "Woah, so is your new mystery attraction going to be ready soon?" asked the oblivious Soos.
"Uhhh, yeah. I just need to wait and watch over the thing. That's all."
Stan looked back at the machine and thought again about the promise. Even though he lied about keeping secrets, he however felt that this lie would not just leave Dipper upset, but horrified and furious.
(Vision)
Stan revealed the secrets and his motive of the machine to the twins, who looked as if they've seen a demon. "Whaaaaaat!?" panting like she's near death, Mabel quickly gathered unhealthy snacks and Waddles. "I'm going to the bunker! Save the cute boys!" She jolted out the door as Dipper became furious.
"You mean that you had this machine that can destroy the world?! Why would you even turn this on? Why did you keep the other journals away? Why?!"
The look on Dipper's face just shattered Grunkle Stan's heart.
(End Vision)
Stan shook his head. "Soos, remember to keep this a secret; especially to Mabel and Dipper."
Soos saluted. "You got it, boss. Won't they be surprised when they see this completely ready?"
Stan looked at the pictures of the twins and sighed. "Yeah … they will be."
Dipper and Mabel arrived late back home at around three o'clock. "I can't believe the Northwests actually let non-snooty people in." Grunkle Stan said with disbelieve after taking the twins back home. "So they had some ghost problem?"
Dipper looked at Stan, feeling a bit guilty. "They needed me to get rid of a ghost that was haunting them because of their stupid ancestor. That lumberjack ghost was backstabbed by the Northwest about not letting the common people in. Sorry I've gotten into something dangerous."
Stan would be angry, but what Dipper said about the Northwests' backstabbing ancestor got to him. "It was for defending …. Those lousy people. I guess you still kept your promise."
Dipper smiled, still feeling guilty about the other things, but quickly spoke up. "Actually, Pacifica is nothing like her parents. She'd changed."
"Pacifica?" asked Grunkle Stan. "Isn't she Mabel's mortal enemy. Destine to fight for the future of the world or something?"
Mabel laughed. "I think after the Lilliputtians incident, we're good."
"Well Pacifica promised me she wouldn't make fun of you anymore." said Dipper. "After the ghost, we've spend the rest of the party together. We've threw grapes at some portraits, laughed at anyone performing dangerous tricks, I told her about the mysteries of Gravity Falls and she said she wanted to know more."
Dipper continued talking about Pacifica all the way till he and Mabel were tucked nicely in bed. "After that, we danced to whatever song was playing, and then we just jumped right in that fountain. You know, with Pacifica's make-up off, she looks real pretty. And she wants to join our investigations. She showed me some of her karate moves and completely disintegrated a block of led. She was awesome! And she did this cute smirk and hugged me tightly. She thanked me for changing her and I thanked her for showing me there's always more to people deep down and I hugged her tighter …."
Dipper looked up at the ceiling blankly when his mind figured out something within his heart. "Uh oh."
"I'll tease you in the morning." Mabel yawned.
After Stan was taken away by the government, the Twins were completely worried and confused. "Why did they take him away? What don't we know!?" cried Dipper as Soos and Wendy came in.
"This is not cool! We have to get him back!" said Wendy.
"Mr. Pines have always been there for us. Like the time I needed to clean the gutters, or the time I needed to fix the air conditioners, or the time I needed to burn evidence, he would always tell me to do those."
Dipper sat down with his head in his hands. "But what did they mean by dangerous activities?"
Mabel looked ahead and pointed out Old Man McGucket cartwheeling his way toward them. "Dipper, glad I remember you live here! We have to do something …. Why are you all looking like you're confused and hurt?"
Dipper sighed. "McGucket, we just …" Dipper then realized that McGucket wanted to warn him about something last night. "Wait a minute, you wanted to warn me about something important. I've forgotten about it when I hung out with Pacifica."
"The spoiled blondie?" asked Wendy.
"McGucket. I know you tried telling me, but something bad happened. Grunkle Stan was taken away by the government."
McGucket thought for a moment. "Grunkle Stan ….. Stanford Pines ….. wait, just remembered something from my missing mind!"
Dipper shook his head with disbelief. "Really, wait. About Stan?" Dipper became concern along with Mabel, Wendy, and Soos.
"Yeah, he has something to do with …. Wait, I remember what will cause the end of the world!"
"End of the World?!" shouted everyone, which reminded Dipper about what McGucket said.
"That's right …. And I just held it off …. Stupid! Well at least it can't get worst."
"Did you really just say that, Dipper?" asked Mabel.
"The apocalypse is coming tonight."
"What!?" Dipper then began hitting himself on a tree. "What was I thinking that night?!"
(Flashback)
Dipper sighed from McGucket's warning. "I really don't want to deal with this right now. I just want to relax and hang out with Pacifica and learn more about her."
(End Flashback)
"Not again." Dipper looked at McGucket. "So what do you remember?"
McGucket told them about a machine that Stan knew about, and that it was the very machine that McGucket wanted to forget about. "And there was something about a Dorito chip too. Can't remember anything else after that."
"Are you serious?! Do you know where it is?" asked Dipper as Soos thought to himself.
"I think it's somewhere close to here. We have to hurry!"
Dipper held his hand out and the group placed theirs onto Dipper's. "Mystery Team, Go!"
They all raised their hands out. "Yes! Let's sue that apocalypse!" cheered a sixth person.
Soos, Wendy, Mabel, and McGucket stared at Pacifica Northwest who for some reason was with commoners and not making fun of them.
"Oh yeah, Pacifica's now a part of the team." explained Dipper as Mabel grinned at him.
The team found the portal deep under the Mystery Shack, with Soos's help.
"Woah, this is amazing!" Mabel ran around, looking at all the lights.
"Something tells me that this isn't Stan's next attraction." Soos said to himself as Wendy rolled her eyes.
Dipper looked through Stan's desk as McGucket was shaking in fear. "What is Stan doing with this mach … mach … ma …. Ma….."
Everyone looked at the stuttering Dipper and gasped at what he found, the two remaining journals.
"Grunkle Stan has the two journals all along?! What is he hiding?"
"The key to my ultimate power!" Everyone turned around and gasped at Lil Gideon. "Hello Mabel …. And Dipper … and Pacifica Northwest? What are you doing with common people?"
Mabel demanded Gideon to tell them how and why he's here.
"Allow me to introduce my friends." Then out of the shadows came his fellow inmates. "I've come to take back what's rightfully mine! Stanford took volume two away from me after my defeat, and it looks like he had volume one all this time. But now with this portal, I'll rule the world! Get them!"
Gideon ordered is inmates to seize the group, but Pacifica stood right in front of them. She dug through her purse and took out a large wad of money. "Take care of the shrimp." She ordered.
The thugs looked through the money and tackled Gideon. "Nooooooooo! You shall all suffer from my never-ending wrath of ….. no really, why's the rich girl here?"
Dipper was now facing a portal which was giving off warning signals. As he felt the gravity getting lighter, a large, six-fingered demon claw reached from the portal. "S…..T…..A…..N….L…L…..L…."
Dipper, Mabel, Wendy, Soos, Pacifica, Old Man McGucket, Agent Powers, Agents Trigger, and a non-human looking Grunkle Stan just stood there as the people of Gravity Falls cheered for the one that saved them all from anti-gravity, Bill Cipher.
"No need to thank me, folks. Just do me a favor in the near future."
Stan looked at Dipper. "Well Bill Cipher, the demon that GIIIIIDEOOOON let loose, now has the town's popularity. And you're probably wondering why I've kept that dangerous portal around, and why I hate Bill more than anything, and how I know him, and why I'm like this?"
Dipper felt anger within him, but still felt that Stan must have a good cause for all this. But right before he could say a word, Mr. and Mrs. Northwest came into the scene.
"Our God, Bill Cipher, have returned!" Then they looked at Pacifica. "We're disowning you. You'll be shipped off somewhere random."
End of Chapter
A/N: Again; All this is based off the secret codes, trailer, SOME other fanfics and fanarts, and my own thoughts and hopes.
Just to point out, I wouldn't jump on the Dipifica ship too soon, or just assume Pacifica's parents will do something that low. Just remember about Robbie and wait to see how it goes.
Also, I will not be able to view this episode on the release. So all comments and reviews after March 9 will be ignored.
