So this is my first Dipper/Bill fic. I was originally going to wait and post my chapter fic first but decided to write a one shot. I hope you enjoy. I would love reviews.

The world turned black and white before a flash or red entered the field not far from the Mystery shack. When the world began to move again a glowing man floated to the dirt. The man was glowing red, very similar to Bill cipher when he was mad. He looked old with a long beard and lines crossing his face. His entire body was cloaked in long robe that billowed in non-existing wind. Before he could move from his spot the world took on the gray hew once more.

"Bill Cipher" The red man chuckled, turning to face the golden pyramid floating just high enough where you had to look up.

"Raze" Bill growled. The red man smirked.

"You not happy to see me?" Raze laughed. "We haven't seen each other in ninety years. I would at least expect a hello or how do you do." Bill replied with a glare.

The two spirits stood ready for a fight. Their bodies were tense and their eyes, or in bill's case eye were unblinking. Though they didn't notice the frantic pants of a certain twelve year old boy. Dipper made it to the bushes just outside the clearing. He knew bill was here but who was this other man. They seemed bright against the gray world.

"What are you doing in gravity falls" Cipher asked, not trying in the slightest to hide his distain. Raze just tilted his head and smiled.

"That is no way to treat a friend" Raze chuckled.

"You should not be here! You have no right to interfere with my plan!"

Raze's face grew grim. "It is odd that you say that" He spoke, his tone filling with power. Energy crackled across the ground. Red sparks fell from his cloak. "Because you seem to have paused you plans." Bill didn't pay the sparks mind. He was too furious. How dare this beast interfere? He knew why he was here and it was not friendly. Dipper poked his head farther up, trying to hear better. "I haven't seen you abandon a plan in quite a long time. Three thousand years actually."

"What are you accusing me of!" Bill hissed. He flashed red for just a moment before calming himself down. If they fought it could last decades. The entire city would burn.

"Dipper Pines" Raze said lightly.

"No" Bill replied in the same light tone. "It is not the same."

"You have been watching them, him and his sister. You have dedicated much time in them. You came to the boy when he needed your help."

"And I destroyed the laptop and stole his body" Bill growled.

"But you should have killed him" Raze laughed, throwing his head back in an over the top cackle. "You are not behaving like yourself." There was no question. It was a statement they both know to be true. "Don't tell me now that you've grown to care for the boy."

"We both know that was a one-time only occurrence" The triangle said. "James was very different. Dipper is nothing to me, just a pesky human that I find enjoyment in playing with. Also, did you just quote Harry Potter?"

"Meatbags may be pathetic but every once in a while they create something enjoyable."

"That is fascinating but I believe it is time for you to leave."

"But Billy…"

"Don't call me that" Bill interrupted.

"But Billy, I'm here to kill that little twerp. He's leading you of course and I'm sure you wouldn't mind. He is just a plaything" Raze laughed.

"Don't you dare!" Bill shouted. "If you lay one sickly diseased finger on him I shall rip you into thousands of tiny shreds, leaving you in eternal agony."

"Then you admit it!" The red demon cackled. "You care for the boy. You've grown attached."

"You're right I have" Bill didn't deny it. "And you know what happened to the man who killed James."

"You are truly amazing Bill Cipher" Raze said in a grave tone. "But you have once again developed an attraction to a mortal and a child at that."

"You will leave now."

"No I will not" Raze snickered. "Not until you explain."

"Explain what?" Bill asked angrily. Dipper was backing away from the clearing. What the heck was going on? The demon liked him? That monster who hurt them again and again was attracted to him!" That was impossible! It couldn't be true."

"Tell me why you care for him" Raze clarified. "I at least understood James. He had an eye for chaos. He killed for pleasure, even ate his victims. That is just up your ally but Pines, Pines is nothing like him. He is pure and good and is everything you despise. What do you see in him? Tell me that and I will leave you to your Romeo and Juliet skit." Bill paused for a moment. Had this all really just been a ploy to get him to talk about Pine Tree? It did sound like Raze. He never made sense always doing things the long way.

"It is because he's pure" Bill finally said. Dipper approached the field once more. This he had to hear. "He is pure of heart but will kill for those he cares for. He has a heart breaking with boundless love. He's brave. He has thrown himself into our world without a care. He has faced beasts that even we avoid. He took on a level ten ghost." Raze's eyes grew wide for a moment. "And he's curios" Bill continued. "He wants to know everything. He's been using that blasted author's journals and uses them well. Even Gideon was unable to grasp the concepts young Dipper understands. And the only one I have ever met that can rival his intellect was the man that wrote those monstrosities. But unlike that six fingered freak Pine Tree wants to understand the secrets of this town for simply curiosity. He does not want anything. He looks for no gain. Have you ever seen a human like that?" Bill asked. "Have you even met a being who truly puts his needs below all others? He helps those who he hates when we would vaporize them without a second thought.

Do you wish to know why I find myself in love with this boy? It is because he is everything yet he refuses to acknowledge it. Modesty to this level is unthinkable. He is amazing in so many ways. That's why I care for him, because he is pure, truly and completely pure."

Raze smirked up at his old friend. "Then why don't you tell him?" He asked. "Why not float up to him and tell him how you truly feel."

"We both know why" The triangle responded sadly. "He could never feel the same."

"Speak to him" Raze smiled evilly. "Maybe you're wrong." The demon nodded his head to the bush Dipper was hiding in. "And you're welcome." With a flash the demon was gone and the world had returned to its proper state. A triangle and a human stared at each other and the human took off into the woods. Bill knew he was right, Dipper could never love him back.
