~1 Week Ago~

Gen was walking to Mr. White's shop for training with the knights on Quarton. As he walked through Benham City, he thought of all the events that had brought him to be a Tenkai Knight. He looked at his WristCom (Since I don't know the official name for those wrist-phone things, I made a name), and started running down the sidewalks. He had 3 minutes.

'I can't be late' Gen thought.

He took a short cut down an alley to save time. As he ran down the alley, a hand reached out of a portal of light, and grabbed the collar of his jacket.

"What the he-." Gen was cut off as he was pulled into the portal…

~The present, Toxsa's POV~

"LEAVE ME ALONE!"

I screamed at the top of my lungs as I ran down the sidewalks to Mr. White's shop. I was almost late to training, and my sister was chasing me. She said that she needed me to help at the resteraunt, but I slipped away the first chance I got. But she noticed before I even got down the block, and started running after me.

"TOXSA! GET BACK HERE!" She yelled at the top of her lungs.

"Leave me alone!" I weakly yelled back. I was tired, I'm not the most athletic person in the world. I took a short cut down an alley, and ran down it as fast as my legs could carry me. I took a hard right at a split in the alley, and ended up at the mall. I ran into the large, populated shopping center, and ran into Mr. White's Shop of Wonders. I stopped when I closed the door, panting from the amount of running I had just done.

~No One's POV~

Toxsa stood up, and walked down into the basement. Down there was Guren, Ceylan, Chooki, and Beni.

"Hey Toxsa, are you OK?" Guren asked, worried for his fellow knight.

"You look like you just ran a mile." Ceylan added.

"Sister… Chasing… Running… Tired." Toxsa said before falling on the ground.

"Anyways, let's get to Quarton before she comes in here." Chooki stated.

The 5 knights that were present walked over to the new Portal Device. It was basically the same as the old one, but instead of four Core Brick slots there was six. They put their Bricks into their respective slots. The portal activated.

"TEANKAI POWER!" Guren yelled.

"TENKAI SPEED!" Ceylan was next.

"TENKAI STRENGTH!" A recovered Toxsa yelled next.

"TENKAI AGILITY!" Chooki was the last one. The first four Tenkai Knights went through their transformation sequence. After they were transformed, they called out their respective Tenkai Knight name.

Guren was first. "Bravenwolf, Tenkai Firestorm Core, ENGAGE!"

Next was Ceylan. "Tributon, Tenkai Ice Blast Core, ENGAGE!"

Now it was Toxsa's turn. "Valorn, Tenkai Terrablast Core, ENGAGE!"

Finally, Chooki went. "Lydendore, Tenkai Lightning Blast Core, ENGAGE!"

Back at the portal, Beni began her transformation.

"TENKAI SPEED!" She yelled.

After going through her transformation sequence, she yelled out "Venetta Core, ENGAGE!"

Finally, all five Tenkai Knights gathered together and called out "Tenkai Knights, GO!"

~?~

Two mysterious humans, their faces covered by shadow, stared at a screen displaying the Tenkai Knights' transformation. One of them spoke.

"Is it time? Can we use the machine?" He said, sadistic eagerness in his voice.

"No. We must wait for them to finish before we can use the device." The second one answered in a monotone voice.

"Would you two just SHUT UP?!" A third voice said, authority filling his voice. Neither human replied, wanting to avoid the punishment for disobeying orders. Eventually, they noticed that the knights had finished.

"Now, activate the portal magnetizer." The second person said.

"YAY!" The first one yelled before pushing a big, red button…

~The shop basement, seconds after Beni started her transformation~

"TOXSA!"

Screaming filled the basement of Mr. Whites Shop of Wonders and Wakamei Dalton screamed at her brother. She walked into the portal room, and noticed that the Portal was activated.

"Not today you aren't." She said before walking over to the portal. When she did, the portal glow turned from green to red, and then disappeared completely. The knights were thrown from the portal: Guren hitting wall, Ceylan flying into him, Beni being thrown to the floor along with Chooki. And Toxsa, unfortunately for him, was sent flying into his sister. She was knocked to the ground, and he fell right on top of her.

"ToxsaaaAAAAAA!" She screamed in rage. "GET! OFF! OF! ME!"

She threw him off, and he hit a wall.

"Owww." Was all the unfortunate gamer could mutter before blacking out.

Just then, Mr. White came running down. He was about to tell our heroes something, before he saw the state of the knights.

"Oh, dear…"

~In a back room~

"Are you feeling better, boys?" Mr. White asked.

"I am." Guren said.

"Me too." Chooki added.

"I'm good." Both Ceylan and Beni said this in unison. Ceylan glared at the Tenkai Rouge, but she just ignored him: infuriating him even more.

"I still feel like I got the Tenkai kicked out of me." Toxsa replied before realizing that his sister was still in the room. "Wait. I-I-I mean… Uhhh…" He tried and failed to cover up what he said.

"Don't worry, I know what you are." An angry Wakamei stated.

"WAIT! WHAT?! YOU KNOW WHAT WE ARE?!" All the Knights, minus Guren, screamed.

"That's not important now." Mr. White interrupted. "What's important is what I've just found."

He pulled out a briefcase, and opened it to reveal six weird-looking devices. One was white with a red strap, a red circle around a screen, and two red buttons under the screen. The second was gray instead of white and blue replaced the red. The third black replaced grey and yellow replaced blue. The fourth one was the same as the second one, only with green replacing the blue. The fifth one had pink replacing the green and purple replacing the grey. And the last one was the same as the first, but with orange instead of red. Mr. White then pulled one out of his coat pocket that had silver as the main color and with the circle and buttons being white. On the sides of the first five were places for a core brick to be put in, almost like a key. The last one had a place similar to the first five but it was smaller.

"What… are these things, Mr. White?" Guren asked.

"I…" Everyone waited in suspense. "… Don't know."

Everyone was shocked by that. After recovering, Guren pointed out the holes on the side. "Doesn't it look like we can put our Core Bricks into here, guys?" He asked.

"You're right." Chooki replied. "Let's try it."

All five knights put their respective Brocks into the slot. The bricks and devices glowed, and the Core Bricks changed. When everything finished glowing, the knights pulled their Brocks out of the devices.

"What happened to our Core Bricks?" Toxsa asked.

"I don't know. Why don't you tell us, oh gaming master." Ceylan replied sarcastically.

"Well I've never seen anything like this before!" Toxsa yelled back.

Just as the two were about to get into an argument, Guren stepped in. "Uh, guys. Toxsa's right. Our core bricks HAVE changed."

Each core brick, if they weren't before, were now the primary color of their respective knight form. They also had weird symbols on them: Guren's had what looked like a flame, Cyelan's had an icicle, Toxsa's had mountains, Chooki's had a lightning bolt, and Beni's had a pair of spider fangs. The screens of the devices also had changed. The screens, which were blank before, now showed each respective knight's symbol. While all this was going on, Wakamei had a change in hers as well. She now had what looked like a Core Brick, but smaller, with a heart symbol on it and her device's screen showed the same symbol.

'What just happened' Wakamei thought.

"Guys, let's ignore this for now. We can figure this out AFTER training."

The rest of the knights agreed, and followed Guren down to the portal room. Wakamei and Mr. White followed too. The old store owner wanted to observe the knights' training and Wakamei… well… she just had this feeling that she had to go with them. The five knights entered the Portal Device, followed by the elder Dalton.

"Wakamei, what are you doing here?" Toxsa half-asked, half-scolded.

"Following you." She replied. "I have one of these Core Brick-things too. That makes me a Tenkai Knight."

"Fine, but don't blame me when you get blasted."

The knights, plus Wakamei, put their Bricks into the portal machine. The portal activated, but something was wrong. The light was red, not green like usual. Guren was about to point that out, when all of a sudden the six just started to disappear. Six lights then shot out of the top of the Portal Device: colored red, blue, green, yellow, pink, and orange. Mr. White stood there, in shock of what just happened to the Tenkai Knights.

~A forest~

High above a forest six beams of light shot across the sky: colored red, blue, green, yellow, pink, and orange. At first, they were all in one large, rainbow-ey beam. Then, they separated, spreading out across the entire forest…

~Guren's POV, 3rd person~

Guren, who was inside of a beam of light, saw himself separate from five other beams of light he recognized to be the color of his friends' Core Bricks. He shot off into a forest, hitting the ground with a rather large thud. The last thing he saw before blacking out was a mysterious creature…

Annnnnnd that's the end of Chapter One. So what did you guys think? Now, I'm going to explain some things:

1. I added Wakamei as a main character because I feel like she didn't get enough screen time in the show. Hopefully Season 2 of the anime (if there is going to be one) will feature her more.

2. The Devices are a fan-made Digivice called the Digivice Tenkai (DT for short). They are the same style as the Tamers' Digivices, except where on the Tamers' ones they have an area to slash cards through the DTs have an area for a Core Brick.

3. Gen WILL be featured later, with a cool backstory in the Digital World and everything.

4. The Tenkai Knights WILL get new clothes based off of their Quarton forms.

5. OCs and previous Digimon heroes will be making appearances.

Now, read, review, and all that good stuff or else, (Pulls out automatic pistol and aims it at a caged Terriermon's head. And yes, the one from Digimon Tamers) the bunny gets it.
