Stella actually hadn't heard of Pride Parade until Bloom bought it up. Pride for what? Stella had found herself wondering. Pride for your good looks or your keen sense of style?

Either which way the fairy planned to take Brandon and go out and support her friend. She really needed to catch up on her Earth traditions.

She looked to Bloom for an explanation. "I can't get dressed if I don't know what I'm celebrating."

"You're going to celebrate homosexuality." Bloom smiled. Her smile seemed to fade. "I mean if you want too…I could understand if…"

"No, no! Of course Brandon and I are coming." Stella cut her off. "Just tell me what I should wear."

"I hope you have something colorful. Our scheme is rainbow." Bloom's chipper smile returned.

"I'm sure I can find something in my closet. It's Brandon I'm worried about, he only seems to wear grey and white these days. I've been trying to get him some serious fashion help!"

"You can give him some body paint." Bloom shrugged. She pulled out some body paint of her own and began applying it football style under her eyes.

Stella smirked. "Lovely idea, I'll paint his entire body…waist up!"

Brandon insisted that he'd never let Stella do so, but it was done, in under ten minutes the man was pretty much Stella's rainbow canvas. The fairy had dazzled herself up in a lacy rainbow dress. Her hair and assortment of rainbow glitter and jewels.

She'd never been to an Earth parade, much less one that celebrated something so important and she didn't want to mess it up.

Bloom was giggling rather hysterically at Stella's display of tediousness. The fire fairy had to tell her to lighten up and just have fun.

And she did.

Standing in the crowd was nothing but fun; waving rainbow banners and tossing glitter all over the place—namely at Brandon—cheering and laughing the whole time.

But more than anything, the huge smile plastered on Bloom's face made coming worth while.

The girl claimed that this parade had always made her feel better after taking so much crap from Mitzi. Apparently after asking the girl on a date, she had taken to treating Bloom with scorn.

The fair shrugged it off stating there were better women to date anyhow.

Evidently that better woman just so happened to be standing next to them during the parade.
