This story is in the POV of the Director, you know, the guy who started everything. I kinda forgot his name.

Warning: This possibly contains spoilers for the manga. Also, this was written at 1 in the morning because I couldn't sleep so it could have a few problems. Not to mention that it is my first fan fiction soooo... yeah. You are officially warned.

Caged Bird's Dance

To say he liked watching his little caged birds' dances was an understatement. No, he positively loved watching them. He enjoyed seeing them fluttering about with their crimson feathers and sharpened talons. The way they fly around each other to turn their prey into the perfect kill was an absolute work of art. The dances of death and songs of agony are played beautifully on the stage by his wonderful collection of performers.

From the Crow's gracefully perfected soliloquy of slaughter to the Woodpecker who's poisonous beak and strong wings are just starting to grow. From the Hummingbird who plays the sharp thorns on a beautiful flower to the Mockingbird's flawlessly mirrored performance. Even the Peacock's colorful display and the Condor's timeless fiery show. All the little birds dance to their own symphony of bloody Sin and it is nothing but pure perfection to his eyes and ears. Even though he may be the puppet master that loves to pull the strings, the puppets are still the stars of the show.

It always disappoints him when one of his birds' wings gets clipped, but it is a necessary sacrifice in order for them to strive to perfect their little dances. He sees the wonderful fear in their eyes when the sadistic doctor plucks at their crimson feathers and they cry their agonized song as they lose those feathers forever.

But he would much rather see them lose their feathers than see them lose completely. It always brings a frown to his face when one of his birds falls from the sky and crashes to the ground. It may be necessary in order to the improve the strong and weed out the weak, but he is still losing some of his beautiful performers. Birds as rare as the ones on his stage are getting harder to come by these days.

Even though he doesn't enjoy watching one of his pets die, he absolutely adores it when they spread their feathers and soar towards the sky. His prized birds that rein over the others are the most splendid of the crimson flock. They are the ones that have perfected the dance and enjoy pleasing the adoring crowd. He loves to watch as his pampered pets are praised by the masses. After all, it is what they deserve for obeying their puppeteer, even if they are unaware of how much their strings are being pulled.

As lovely as his prized possessions may be, their is one that puts all others to shame. The elegance of the girl with snow white hair and eyes as red as the blood she spilled only add to the marvel that is the Wretched Egg. He is ashamed to say that he can never control this performer like he does with the others. The little snowy bird will never be bothered by the tug of his strings because she only plays to the dance she likes. The only song she hears is the one that others grow deaf to, including himself. It is times when she no longer hears her lullaby that he truly grows excited. He can't wait to see how the queen of the show rules over the other performers. Her ballet is truly supreme compared to the movements of all others and he can't wait to dance with her.

It is that very reason for why he picked and plucked through the best of the best of his own little flock. He wanted to choose the perfect puppet that could even hope to play in the presence of the truly Wretched Egg. Even though her heart belonged to the poisonous Woodpecker, he would still strive to be the one to fulfill her greatest wish. It was his duty to perform in her dance of death, and her duty to perform in his.

He spent years in setting the stage for the final show. The day his birds spread their crimson wings and the Wretched Egg performs her final dance will be the day of a show worth seeing.

Well... that was a wreck. Anyway, please review. I wanna know what you guys think.
