SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Ezra's Prov.
It's been four days now since we got Kanan back and he still hasn't woken up. I'm starting to get worried he might not awake. I've been sitting by his bedside for the majority of the time and he hasn't moved at all. As the days passed I noted that he was getting paler and paler. My mind is in serious panic right now and I can't do anything to help him. But the thing is I can't lose him. I've already lost my parents and Kanan is the closest thing to a father I've had since I was seven. I almost lost myself when they died and I don't think I'll make it if he died too. Sadly, Hera can't figure what's wrong so I can only sit and wait. I even tried to reach him through own bond, but to my horror I was pushed back by a force a couldn't explain. I couldn't tell if it was that his shields that were too strong or some unexplainable force was blocking me out. So I gave up and retired to my room. I hope Kanan wakes up soon I really miss him.

I sighed and placed my journal under my pillow. I jumped off my bunk, exited the room and went to find Sabine. I arrived at her room and glanced inside, but to my surprise she wasn't there. I stood there in thought for a few second then it hit me. It's way too quiet here. I went to look for Zeb, Hera, and Chopper, but just as before they were nowhere to be found. Then I looked where I last suspected. Kanan's room.
I used the force to look into the room and to my surprise they were all there talking to an awake Kanan. Wait… an awake Kanan?! I rushed into the room and stared at everyone in the room. They all glanced back at me with wide eyes. My eyes scanned everyone in the room but finally stopped on Kanan.
"Are you okay, kid?" I heard Zeb ask. I didn't reply, but instead I pulled Kanan into a bone crushing hug and let out a few silent tears. I felt Kanan return the hug and heard everyone leave us alone. "I thought you'd never wake up." I choked out. "I know, I know." He gently said. After hearing this I gripped him tighter and sobbed harder into his tattered shirt. He held me like this for a while and helped me calm down. After I had calmed down enough I pulled an arms length away and sat down beside him on the bed. "So how long was i out?" Kanan asked. "About four and a half days." I answered. "Wow, really? Four days? That's a really long time. Are you sure?" He questioned again. "Yep. Four days, and to be honest those were the longest four days in my life." I whispered. Putting my head on his right shoulder. We sat like this for a few moments in silence, just enjoying the others presence.
Suddenly, Kanan spoke, "Ezra, I need to tell you something." He paused, "Ezra, I… I have Forcealotice." Forcealotice? What is that? "Ezra, I know what you're thinking. Huh… Forcealotice is a disease, a jedi disease. Forcealotice is when a jedi or padawan is prevented from using and feeling the force. This can also cause weakening, memory loss, your immune system drops and well…" He trailed off, "Death." My heart stopped momentarily as he said this. "Wait, you aren't going to die. Are you?" I asked nervously. "Well, I…" He started."What? No, no, no. You can't die! I need you!" I yelled. "Woah, woah, woah. I never said I was going to die... yet."Kanan added.
"Isn't there a cure?" I said. "Yes, but the plant you get the cure from is extinct. They were wiped out when the empire attacked the jedi temple." My heart sank, "However, Fulcrum did say that he knew a way to go into the past…" He explained. My mind blanked out the rest of his words and only thought one thing. Yes, a way to save Kanan. I stood up said goodnight to Kanan and went to tell Hera the news.
