New to this community, but recently started playing Persona. For your information I have only played Persona 4 Arena Ultimax so that is the only information on characters I have. Anyway, let's start! One last thing, most of my stories don't follow the actual plot and how things would be so expect some interesting pairings and storylines!

My Troubled Prince

Chapter One: Late for Class

The sun rose into the clear morning sky of Inaba. The normal residents of the town went about their lives as normal, but for a select few it had only been a few months of rest since they had saved the world from a grand force of destruction. With the greatest threat, Hi-No-Kagutsuchi, conquered they went back to their normal lives.

In a small house a few blocks away from Yasogami High a peculiar young woman lay in bed. This young lady was not in fact human but an android, built in humanoid form, a near human creation specially made to defeat beings known as Shadows. Labrys was her name, and without knowing it she had slept too long and was late for school. Her eyes slowly opened and she looked at her clock.

"Oh no!" She cried, and scrambled out of bed, "I'm late!" In a rush she grabbed her bag and ran out the door, forgetting to even lock it as she bolted down the street. The soft sound of her feet hitting the pavement occasionally drew curious eyes but they dispersed as they realized who it was.

Labrys was a happy individual. After such strife she was finally living her dream. To be a normal girl attending school. She was very well educated, being a machine and easily doing her work, and was normally in the top ten of her classes. But she had times where she would fumble. Reaching the gates, which were closed, she easily jumped over them as the gate guard was nowhere to be seen. Running inside the building she slowed down slightly. Being the student council president she couldn't risk being seen breaking the rules about running in the halls. She hurried up the stairs and made it to her homeroom.

"You're late Miss Labrys." The instructor said, a man with short black hair and small glasses.

"I'm sorry Mr. Ikagami. My alarm didn't go off and I was up late working on the council papers." Labrys said apologetically.

"Always the hard worker. I'll give you a pass this time, but make sure it doesn't happen again."

"Yes sir!" Labrys smiled and took her seat. It was in the right hand middle of the classroom, and she sat next to her friend Yu Narukami. Yu was truly a great friend, he never gave up on anyone close to him, and even those who fought against him. He was a good person, and she was glad to have him as a classmate, an ally, and a friend.

"Now, as I was saying the fundraiser run will be next Friday for those wanting to help raise money for the school's facilities." Mr. Ikagami explained. He continued to go into details. Since she already knew the exact details about the fundraiser, having been the one to suggest and organize it, Labrys cast her gaze to the back of the room. Sitting in the back corner seat, staring out the window, was Sho Minazuki.

Sho had been the cause of great danger some time ago. His hatred for those who did him wrong expanded to the extreme of wishing to destroy the world. His former other self, Minazuki, was the Plume of Dusk that had been embedded within his body. Minazuki's sole purpose was to fulfill Sho's wish for solitude. He merged the worlds of the normal and TV world and used General Teddie to formulate the P-1 Grand Prix Climax, which forced Labrys, Yu, and their friends to fight against shadows Minazuki had created for the sole purpose of fighting the true Persona users to 'shave' off Persona Fragments to summon a force of evil into the world to destroy everything. Everyone fought at their best and Yu managed to appeal to the loneliness plaguing Sho. After some time Sho managed to gain control of his Plume of Dusk and Minazuki was no more. He however still did have two personalities, a permanent side effect of the Plume of Dusk. Without even a long look she could tell he was Minazuki right now, the normal Sho was very different. Sho would always focus on his school work and try to be as social as he could with his new friends, but when Minazuki came out he was very broody and withdrawn.

"Minazuki." The instructor noticed him not paying attention, "Pay attention."

"Yeah yeah." Minazuki said as he looked over at the front of the room, just staring at the wall and still not really listening but looked like he was. Labrys sighed and turned back to the front of the room.

"Slept in Labrys-kun?" Yu asked as they headed to the cafeteria after their third period.

"Yeah….." Labrys sighed.

"What, were you working hard or hardly working?" Sho asked before laughing at his own joke. He was his normal self at the moment.

"You already know the answer Sho-san." Labrys said swiftly. The three walked into the cafeteria and headed to their regular table to meet their other friends.

"Hi guys!" Chie waved.

"Afternoon everyone." Yukiko smiled.

"Sup Senpai?" Kanji made a short wave with two fingers.

"Hey everyone." They all sat down. No sooner had Sho sat down was he working on his recently assigned Math work.

"Come on man, can't you put that stuff away?" Kanji sighed.

"It's best to work on it now rather than leave it for later." Sho said. In both personalities he took his work seriously.

"I finished it in class, if you need any help I can give you some hints." Yukiko said.

"Argh, how can you guys do that crap?" Kanji groaned. Math was his worst subject. Labrys always found that amusing, so did Yukiko ever since she used that fact to exploit Kanji's shadow during the P-1 Climax.

"Come on, let's not talk about homework right now."

"Heyo!" Everyone looked over at the voice to see Yosuke walk up and sit down at the table.

"There you are Yosuke, we were wondering where you were." Kanji replied.

"What, you talk like you got something planned." Yosuke laughed.

"We were thinking about all having a little sparring match after school." Chie said.

After the P-1 Climax something unique and strange happened. Everyone was still able to use their Personas in the real world, but when they did it shifted to the same time as when the P-1 Climax was taking place, so no one would see them but other Persona users. At first everyone thought that Sho would be left out, since he did not have a Persona, but we later learned that Minazuki still has Tsukuyomi and that allowed Sho to come along, but Minazuki never fought as he preferred not to mingle with Sho's new friends. But Minazuki's only desire was to fulfill Sho's wish, and that wish just changed halfway through to something new.

"That sounds like fun." Sho said, putting his work away.

"I suppose regular exercise is important." Yu agreed. Kanji just nodded in agreement.

"Then it's settled, we'll all meet at Junes food court for it." Yukiki concluded.

"I'll let Teddie know." Yosuke pointed out.

"Argh, do we have to bring him?" Kanji groaned.

"Come on Kanji-san, don't be so stuck up." Chie laughed.

"Hey, I just haven't forgotten that he practically used me as a human tissue in that last case!" Kanji retorted.

Everyone laughed and as Labrys was chuckling she noticed Sho get up and walk away from the table. Everyone was very surprised, not only did they always get an audible queue of when Sho became Minazuki, but even the way he walked could show it. The man walking away in silence from the table was in fact Sho.

"Did we say something?" Yukiko pondered.

"I don't know." Yu sighed.

"Maybe he just forgot something?" Kanji wondered.

"That wouldn't explain the depressing departure." Chie pointed out the flaw in Kanji's logic.

"Hey, just throwing ideas out there." He said. Labrys just stared down the hall that Sho walked down.

After school Labrys went straight home. She went to the front door and stopped.

"Oh no." She mumbled. She was in such a hurry this morning she left the front door wide open. She sighed and went inside to examine her house in case anyone took anything. She stared blankly as she walked into the living room.

"Sorry for intruding." It was Sho. He had his blades with him as well.

"Sho-san? Why are you here?" She asked.

"I heard myself mention you probably left your door unlocked. So I grabbed my things for the party today and waited here so no one stole anything." Sho said.

"Oh, well, thanks."

"I'll meet you on the other end." Sho said, and vanished as he embraced his Persona and entered the tear between the TV world and our own. Labrys smiled. Sho is a good friend, I hope he gets more comfortable with us. She shook her head to focus and headed upstairs to her room. After grabbing her axe and attaching it to her back she went back downstairs.

"Persona." Labrys said clearly, and entered the other world. That red color filled everything again, but not the red fog that Minazuki used before, the sky and moon were just red all the time.

"So we wait for Teddie right?" Sho said. While there was no danger of dying, there was always the danger of getting lost in this maze like world. So whenever the group went to spar they had Teddie and Yosuke pick them up so no one got lost.

"Yeah." Labrys sat down. Normally she was one of the last people that everyone came too. Sho tended to just sneak into the meeting place ahead of time and wait. They both just sat there in silence, they hadn't been alone together before so neither knew what to say.

"So….you know who you wanna fight?" Sho asked, scratching his head out of nervousness.

"Well, I didn't get to fight Yu-Senpai last time so hopefully him." Labrys said.

"Cool….cool." Sho looked around, not sure what else to say.

"Hey, you going to join in the marathon?" Labrys asked.

"Nah, doesn't seem like my kind of thing." Sho said.

"Oh." Labrys' plan for conversation was quickly shot down.

"Hellooooo!" A voice came from the door.

"Well, looks like they're here." Labrys went to go answer the door. Sho got up and went with her, standing behind her in the hall as she opened the door.

"Labby-Chan!" Teddie jumped at her the moment the obstruction was cleared. Labrys stepped out of the way but Sho didn't have time to dodge as he brought up his foot, stopping Teddie as his foot met the bear's forehead.

"Ow!" Teddie exclaimed as he fell backwards, holding his head in pain, "Sho-san why did you do that?!"

"Hey, I had to react bear-y quickly." Sho laughed. Yosuke was standing on the street outside.

"Oh stop whining Teddie, c'mon we gotta hurry to Junes." Yosuke said.

"Did you already pick up the others?" Labrys asked as she picked Teddie up and set him on his feet.

"That we did, and they're all at Junes waiting for us!" Teddie said.

"Let's go then." Sho said, and suddenly jumped unto a telephone pole and ran across the wires. No one said anything, since Sho always managed to get to their meeting spots in this world without any help.

"Onward to Junes! Follow me everyone!" Teddie said as he started skipping off. Yosuke sighed but Labrys just smiled as she followed along. She hoped it would be a fun day today.
