The world is distorting again. Rooms have changed. The monsters blink out from existence. The chairs, tables, glass, buildings, it's all disappearing. The man wearing a white burned coat keeps appearing. Growling as he searches for him, the rambling repetitive boy with white hair.

"Scared.. scared.. scared.." His whispers echo. His hands wound themselves in his silver hair, chipped fingernails digging into his scalp as he stares in shock at the rippling changes. He can feel him getting closer and possibly the man can feel his own presence. It's unnerving.

"Leslie." The rough toned voice stops him in his tracks. He turns, teeth clenching as he sees Ruvik walking towards him. They're in a decrepit hospital ward. A gurney and some wheel chairs are tossed out of his way, the doors are covered in barb wire. "Stop running."

Leslie shakes his head. ".. Running.. running.. running.. running.." He turns away, the room distorts again and a large metal door appears in front of Ruvik. Leslie's location gone from him. He growls as he thrusts the door open, finding himself in the foyer room where the nurse is. He glances at her curiously, she stares at her nails as if it's the most amazing thing she's ever seen. However, she sighs and looks at him, her face blank with emotion.

"He's not here," she says, her tone flat and uninterested.

Ruvik glares at her and vanishes from the foyer, entering another area. A sewer. He hears splashes of water and small mutterings to realize Leslie's down here somewhere. He heads off, teleporting to speed up his search. He finds Leslie pressing his hands against a stone wall. Probably a dead end made by the distorted changes of reality in both of their minds. It's a great convenience.

"Leslie," Ruvik growls.

Leslie jumped and turned around. Fear plastered on his face, his eyes wide in shock as he backed away against the wall. Ruvik moved closer to the point he's standing a foot in front of Leslie.

A pulse passes through Leslie, but before anything could change. Ruvik grabbed his wrists, pulled him close against him. A gasped left Leslie's mouth as the scenery changes to the inside of the church. It's empty. Leslie tried to wrench free, but Ruvik's hold tightened.

Ruvik sighs, tilting his head to the side to see the fear on Leslie's face as he muttered incoherent words. He hummed as he slammed Leslie against the wall, smelling Leslie's sweet scent, unlike the stench of burning flesh and medicine he's accustomed too. This is entirely different.

Leslie shook his head, trying to pull his wrists from Ruvik's grasp. "No.. L-let me go.. let me go.. let me go.."

Ruvik snapped out of his reverie, growling at Leslie. He slammed his wrists against the wall too hard and the scenery changes again. They ended up inside the lab, Ruvik's lab and he couldn't help but smile that he's got some control back. He figured it's because Leslie was a bit too occupied to change things.

Leslie groaned at the pain Ruvik inflicted on his wrists. He looked up, his breath hitches at the location change. It's the place he was experimented in. Shaking his head, he tried desperately to push Ruvik away again, but his grasp tightened to the point his fingers felt numb.

"Quit struggling, Leslie," The man said calmly.

Leslie grit his teeth, he didn't like being here. Not here. Not with him. There was no one to save him and they both knew it. He had to escape, to run, to flee, somewhere else. He needed to get away. Far. Far. Away. Leslie tried pushing on Ruvik who was looking at him peculiarly. It was the same gaze he used to give him when he'd experiment on him. The memories began to distort the area they were in again, Ruvik frowned, noticing the rapid changes.

He looked down at Leslie, deciding to see what would happen if he'd let him go for now. He teleported five feet away from him and right on time. Leslie's body disappeared, the doors to the lab were pushed open and the shuffling boy was flailing his hands, running down the corridor as if his life depended on it.

Ruvik listened to Leslie's screams until they faded in the distance. With a sigh, he too disappeared. A simple decision to chase after the white rabbit.
