Elyon wasn't prepared for what went on next. Just as they found out the guardians' warning was true, hell broke lose. Elyon approached the prince about his plans to drain her powers and have them for himself after the false Elyon had fainted and he had placed the crown on his head. Before the guardians or Elyon could anything, he threatened to harm Alexander. She thought he was lying when he revealed Cedric had him from underneath his cloak.

"Will, he's got a baby!" pointed out Hay Lin. If Will answered, she didn't know. As the fighting grew louder and Phobos had summoned more soldiers out of the ground.

Elyon wanted to blast both men back, but she couldn't. She had their son for goodness sake! She could seriously hurt him. She tried coming with some kind of plan to retrieve her child, but she didn't have the time to do so. How could they just a child again them? An infant at that! This was a new low for them both especially when it came down to Cedric. It was his baby!

"Don't let him get away!" she could hear the red head say as she blasted back a solider.

"Taranee, we have to get to him!" she said turning to the fire guardian.

"Yeah I know!" she said.

"Don't let Elyon escape!" said Phobos.

Cedric attempted to grab her after he handed over the baby over to the prince and grabbed her cloak. "You're not getting away, you little brat!"

She could hear her blood boiling with rage. Now that he didn't have the baby, she blasted him back. She wanted to finish him off, but before she could someone snatched her away from him while he recovered and got away. She kicked and screamed for the man to put her down, but he turned a deaf ear to her pleas. A woman tried leading her away after the rebel placed her down and ran back to the fight. The bastards had her child and were getting away. She could hear Caleb declare the prince was his and Taranee attempted to stop him but Cornelia beat her to it as she ran over to him. A summoned soldier tried to zap her with his red glowing eyes, but missed only because Will had saved her. Meanwhile Caleb was turned into a watery looking flower. From the looks of it, Cornelia had feelings for the man as she picked up the flower and mourned over it briefly before Will had to pull her up.

The group was lead underground away from the fight and burning buildings around her. Elyon wanted to stay, but it was only Taranee's pleas which got her there. Underground, she turned to the blue haired girl and buried her face into the girl's chest. "Taranee, why did this have to happen? I can't believe he'd do this."

"Honestly, I don't either." she whispered rubbing the younger woman's back. For the most part, Cedric had been a loving and doting father when he came down to their baby. He didn't look at the child with any hate or deviousness, but with love and warmth. Although she couldn't stand him, she could see that the baby had a special place in his heart. To think he had used his child as a shield surprised her, even more so that he would allow his master to threaten to harm him. As for Phobos, she couldn't believe he'd do that to a baby.

"I can." voiced Irma. "We warned you, Elyon."

"No need to rub it in my face, Irma!" snapped Elyon. "I see that now!"

"I wasn't..."

"Save it!" she turned back to the fire guardian. "I'm going back."

"Elyon, you can't go up there." said Will. "At least not alone. We should come with you for back up."

"If I'm taking anyone, it's Taranee." she said. This was a personal issue.

"Will's right. All of us should come." said Cornelia.

Elyon didn't want to bring all of them along with her. She wanted to deal with the bastard herself and couldn't afford the others to get in the way. He was for her to deal with and her only. "No. You're not coming with me. He's mine to deal with."

Will attempted to reason with her, but with a determine blaze in her eyes she couldn't be reasoned with. Taranee sent Will a message with her mind that she'd go with Elyon and that Will and the others should follow. Will replied in acknowledgement.

"If that's what you want, we won't stop you." said Will. Cornelia protested, but Will ignored her. Taranee followed the younger girl out of the hideout while the others looked up at their leader.

"You can't be serious!" said Irma. "Will, she could get herself and Taranee killed!"

"We're not really letting her go." said Hay Lin. She looked at the taller guardian. "Right, Will."

"Of course not. We're going to turn invisible and follow them." said Will holding out the heart. She turned them invisible and followed behind them.

"I can't believe that little imp tricked me!" groaned Phobos flopping down in his chair in his hidden quarters. "All because of those guardians! Damn it!" he threw a vase at the wall.

The baby burst out crying from the noise that had come from the impact on the wall. Cedric attempted to soothe the small child while the other blonde man glared at him. "For goodness sake, shut it up."

"He."

"What?"

"He. It's a he." Phobos blinked at his servant. It was hard to know what the man was thinking as they locked eyes.

"Whatever." he said looking away from him and rubbing his forehead. "He's giving me a damn headache."

Cedric turned back to his son, rocking him back to sleep and singing softly to the baby. Phobos watched the pair for a while before getting an idea. Due to the fact that the child was the result of a union between two people with magic in them, the child would be a fantastic addition to have. Phobos used his magic mirror he often used to spy on Elyon. She was coming with the fire guardian accompanied by the other guardians who appeared to be attempting to hide. They thought they were so clever didn't they? Little did they know that they were in for a nasty surprise.
