Luffy was sitting with Shanks and his crew at the table getting laughed at for drinking he saw a box and looked to see a devil fruit he then started to eat it and Shanks turned around to see luffy eating something he asked "what are you eating " then looked to see a bit of the box sticking out.

Just ask luffy was done shanks quickly shot up from his seat and then grab luffy and shook him up "luffy spit out what you just ate" in a panicked voice luffy asked "why" then. Shanks said because you ate the Pika Pika no Mi Devil fruit then started to shine and then some people laughed Makino just start to panic shanks just looked at luffy who was now panicking asking what was going to happen .
