hey look guys i do things other than my book with rose.

Challenge: Danny gets reverted to a younger age.

Rules: Still a halfa, anyone can take care of him. Don't maim/torture/kill Daniel.

Challenge by bibbledoo. Does "Fenton parents watching over kid Danny Phantom" count as "torture"?

Danny felt sort of strange.

It was odd enough that his parents were tolerating his ghost form, but it was even odder due to the fact that he wasn't normal 14-year-old Danny Phantom. No, he was a 5-year-old again. A 5-year-old Danny Phantom stuck in a house with his ghost-hunting parents who don't know that Danny Phantom is Danny Fenton was not a very good mix or, at least, it shouldn't be.

But here it was, happening. No talk of dissecting him. None of his father's blabbing about ghosts. Nothing. And it was strange. His mother didn't even look angry when he accidentally started floating in midair, instead just clucking her tongue and pulling him back down to the couch.

"Uh, are you... feeling okay?" Danny asked tentatively, his glowing green eyes peering at his mother through the corners of his eyes. His mother smiled and grabbed his cheek, making him face her.

"Of course I'm fine, Phantom," she said clearly and carefully. "But you aren't, so we're taking care of you until you're okay."

Ah, so that was it. This was all because Vlad had decided to test his new invention on Danny. It not only trapped him in his ghost form, but it made him younger. His mother was acting the way she was because of her motherly instinct. Danny smiled hesitantly, pulling away from his mother's warm hand.

"Are you going to hunt me again when I'm back to normal?" He couldn't stop the question coming from his mouth, and his eyes widened a fraction of a second later when he realized when he'd said. But the Fenton patriarch didn't look angry. Instead, she looked thoughtful.

"It depends," she said, letting go of his face and turning back to her paperwork. "We might because you're still a ghost, but we might not because we'll remember you like this. It all depends on how we remember you once you're back to normal."

Danny knew she was taking notes on him, that was what the paperwork was, but he couldn't help the childish question that came from his mouth.

"Will you please remember me like this, then? I don't like having you as my enemy."

His mother's face drifted into a smile, and she scribbled down more words on the papers that Danny couldn't make out. "We'll see."

this sucks but look i did stuff other than write about rose and danny. Maddie/Phantom bonding, aw yeah.
