She followed the childish laughter to find her dog licking a young woman.

The young woman was the one laughing.

"Hello." Monika's voice was heavily laden with her German accent.

"Ciao." Giggled the Italian woman that was buried under the furry animal that the German woman owned.

She had an adorable Italian accent.

"I'm sorry that he tackled you." Monika murmured.

"Oh, it's okay." The woman stood, and she was just as attractive as her voice.

Long, auburn hair fell gently down the Italian's back; wide, amber eyes peeked out of her slightly messy hair.

Why did Monika's dogs always find the attractive women that appealed to her so?

"I love your dog. He's so friendly." Squealed the young, Italian woman.

"Thanks. I'm Monika." May be she could learn the other's name by introducing herself?

"Oh, I'm Felicia. I'm new here. I just moved here from Italy." The auburn haired Italian spoke up in an awkward way that seemed to imply that she felt like she had forgotten to introduce herself before.

"How do you like it so far?" Monika asked, conversationally.

"I've really enjoyed it. I'm glad that I met you too." Felicia cheerfully announced.

'Is she flirting with me?' Monika wondered.

"I hope that Aster didn't hurt you." Monika murmured in concern.

"Oh, no. I'm fine. He has a cute name, doesn't he?" Felicia squeaked and then cooed over the dog.

"Yeah." Monika's voice was quiet and low.

"You look so tough." Felicia admired.

Monika blushed at the tone of the Italian's voice.

"I do?" Monika settled on; she was often working out at the gym, so it really wasn't a surprise that she looked so tough.

"Sí." Felicia answered simply with enthusiasm.

"Would you like to come in to eat?" Why waste the opportunity to get to know her cute, new neighbor?

"Sí. I'll come in." Felicia was definately excited.

Monika led the Italian in to her home; Monika's house was clean as could be and well organised.

Felicia seemed to have gotten distracted by various belongings with in the home while Monika began to cook them something to eat.

The meal that followed was delicious and full of cheer as they talked about anything and everything.

Monika was grateful for her dogs as they had led her to Felicia.
