A/N- Hello. It's me, the author who had abandoned for several months. I know that I am that I haven't done anything for a while, but I hope this continuous story will help me get back on track. Thanks for still holding onto the fact that I'm still here. Hope you like it!
It was a dark night when he left. There were no shining stars and a bright moon, all had been covered by the rain clouds that arised. Lucy sat alone on a swing which had been set up in the park several years ago. Everything was abonndoned, the only sound was the creaking of her swing.
It may have been freezing, maybe thirty degrees, but she didn't care. She didn't care that her worn out jacket wasn't doing anything to help keep the cold out. She just didn't care anymore.
Her love for her pink haired friend was strong enough to make her heart beat into a crumbled mess all over the floor. After turning her down, she couldn't help the depressed feeling coming towards her.
"I can't believe you would ask that!" His angry tone rang through Lucy's head as she swung higher. "Didn't you hear? I am already taken!" His accusing finger poibting at her played in her head. "I don't want to see you!" Jerking forward, something came in contact with her shoes.
"Hey! What was that for, Lucy?" Gray rubbed his chin lightly. Getting up from the swing, her feet led her to Gray's injured form that had been sitting on the ground.
"I'm so sorry, Gray. I was just thinking and I didn't see you! Sorry." Lucy gulped, speaking her words fast. This frantic formal made the ice mage laugh.
"I'm fine. It really didn't hurt." He lied and patted Lucy's shoulder, "Ha, at least it wasn't one of your special 'Lucy Kicks.' Am I right?"
She smiled as he probbed his elbow into her side. Lucy laughed, "Yeah, I guess so."
The two sat in a comfortable silence, letting the chill of the night wrqp them up in a cool blanket. Suddenly, Gray frantically stood and pulled Lucy towards a house. Feeling her heart beat faster, she stuttered, "Gray? W-Where are we g-going?"
"I can handle the cold, but you can't. By the looks of it, you've been out here for an hour or two!" Gray looked by and smiled, "You can stay at my house for the night. Your house is across town." Taking no objection to the idea, Lucy let her friend pull her towards his house.
