I felt all the color drain from my face as the voice of my brother filled the room. I pulled away from Jeff, who froze from the sudden intrusion. I stood up, suddenly extremely aware of my every clumsy movement. Arlen was standing at the doorway, Ruvel standing behind him holding his hands up apologetically, as if saying I tried to stop him. Arlen stared daggers at me and Jeff, his hands clenched to his sides as his shocked expression morphed into anger.

"Get your hands off my sister you piece of shit." He growled in warning. I felt my face flush in annoyance.

"Arlen, don't you dare speak to him that way!" I retorted. Arlen's eyes shot to mine, then back to Jeff, who took to caressing my thighs. His face was set in a dark, taunting smile, though his hands shook against my legs, the heat of them burning though my rainbow leggings. He was getting angry, and with how on edge he's been, I have no doubt in my mind that one wrong move from my brother will cause his to lash out dangerously. I glanced down at Jeff, catching his eye. They were dark with rage, his lip was set in a thin line as he nodded curtly; a silent affirmation that he was trying to keep control. I swallowed anxiously and looked at my brother, combing my fingers gently though Jeff's hair to soothe him.

"I said get your hands off her!" Arlen shouted. Jeff simply chuckled.

"I thought Ruvel would be the one losing his shit, seeing as he wants Liu too" He taunted.

" 'Len, there's really no reason to-" Ruvel tried to intervene, but Arlen rounded onto him.

"W-what?! You too?! And how long have you known about this, Ruvel?! You're supposed to be my best friend, and fucking thought you had my back! And now some random MOTHERFUCKER is touching her with their filthy fucking hands! And you were trying to get to her behind my back too?!" He was practically screaming now, and I couldn't help but gape at the sudden outburst my normally chill stepbrother was having.

I opened my mouth to interject, when Jeff suddenly stood, a deep dark laugh rumbling in his chest.

" Oooh... I see whats going on here. You're mad that someone else got the chance to fuck your sister before you did? Is that it, bitch boy?" He taunted darkly, his back still facing Arlen. I felt my heart drop into my stomach. What are you doing Jeff?! We haven't even done that yet! Why are you taunting my brother?! I caught Ruvel's inquiring eye and shook my head slightly. His shoulders dropped in relief as Arlen now rounded back towards Jeff.

"What the fuck did you just say?!" Arlen shouted, and Jeff only chuckled tauntingly, looking down at me with his darkening eyes.

"Ohh that's so sad! But you see, I don't think our little doll here is so keen on having her brother touch her sweet spots." He played with a lock of my hair that had escaped my braid, twirling it around his finger affectionately.

"You're a sick fuck! I'd never want to touch my sister in that way!" He retorted, but his ears were tuning pink and his left eye began to twitch.

I felt my heart stop as I looked at my brother. "...You're lying. Your eye always twitches when you lie." I said softly, walking around Jeff to better face Arlen. It couldn't be true!

He looked at me, his cheeks pink as he said "... I'd never hurt you, Chibi... But no one will ever be worthy of you, or love you like I do. You're mine and I'm yours... just like it was always meant to be." The manic, possessive look in his eye scared me, and I couldn't help but take a step back.

He's always been so overprotective. Throughout all of high school he'd always comfort me whenever a guy I had an interest in would suddenly dump me or avoid me. I'd always thought it was because it was me. I'd never once thought Arlen would have a hand in that. I looked away, any words I wanted to say getting stuck in my throat.

"Now that's where you're wrong, bitch boy." Jeff gently caressed my cheek, then turned to face him. The color drained from Arlen's face and he stepped back, blinking rapidly as his face morphed into an expression of horror.

"What... What the fuck?!" he choked out weakly. Jeff chuckled darkly as Ruvel watched, guarding the door with an impassive look on his face, and his knife in his hand. I know that look; it was the same look he had when he thought Jeff was going to be a threat to me the day we were out shopping. I was relieved; if Arlen pushed Jeff too far, Ruvel will step in to protect him. I gently took a hold of Jeff's arm, feeling the tightness in his powerful muscles. Arlen began shaking, his breathing erratic in his confusion and fear.

"Y-y-you're that guy! The wanted ps-psychopath that killed twenty-eight people in the area! I recognize you from the police sketches!" His voice was shaky as he backed into the wall. Jeff laughed a maniacal, taunting laugh and took a large stride forward, tilting his head in an unnatural angle.

"Oh, wheres all that tough guy bravado you had a moment ago, bitch boy? The big, bad brother with a sister complex is just a pants-pissing coward. Afraid of a little ol' killer like me? So much for protecting "whats yours" huh? Weak, big-mouthed pieces of shit like you annoy me the most. But then again, you haven't really changed from your pot smoking and shit talking days, have you Lenny-boy?" he taunted darkly. Arlen's eye flashed with recognition from his childhood nickname, and a wash of disbelief and anger morphed his features.

"Jeff Woods." He said with unnatural calmness. It wasn't a question, but an accusation. Jeff's smile only widened.

In an instant, everything was a blur.
