Hello there~! Just a short little incredibly stupid and silly thing. I loved this anime so much, words can not even express how much I loved it. XD

Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Suit Buddies

School dances were awkward. Awkward and nerve-wracking and uncomfortable and wonderful because she was standing next to Nozaki-kun. No, they weren't dancing, but the ability to stand right next to him next to the punch and watch the other students dance was something that still made her heart race.

What should she do? Should she start a conversation? Should she ask him to dance? No way! Not only would that be incredibly embarrassing but with the height difference it was quite nearly impossible. She slouched slightly. That was a depressing thought. The image of him having to crouch down and squat around to try and dance with her was just horrible.

Luckily he was a little more comfortable… sort of. "Hori-senpai's here," Nozaki intoned. Chiyo looked over toward the door to find Hori scouring the dance floor with his eyes like a hungry hawk. What was he doing? After a second he seemed satisfied and spotted both Chiyo and Nozaki by the punch, giving them a wave and wrestling his way through the crowd.

"Hey guys," he huffed, grabbing a cup of punch. "Looks like Kashima isn't he-"

"KASHIMA-KUN~!" An explosive shout signaled the "prince's" arrival. Hori flinched, his eye twitching in annoyance and his hand clamping down on his punch glass, cracking the plastic and sending the drink spouting out the top.

He turned around mechanically, glaring over at the doorway. It was a little hard to find Kashima, due to the throng of women hanging on her. Chiyo noted Kashima was wearing a suit instead of a dress: likely the reason for the rabid girls being a little louder than usual.

"Kashima," Hori hissed. He muttered things Chiyo couldn't understand under his breath before sighing. "And she's wearing the same suit I am," he said, pulling on his tie anxiously. "… and dammit she's pulling it off!" With that Hori stormed off with a yell, picking up a folding chair as his weapon of choice. Kashima let out a squeak before trying to bolt.

Chiyo and Nozaki stared after them. "What kind of relationship do they have, anyway?" Chiyo squeaked. She still couldn't guess if they absolutely hated each other or if they were in love. Hori and Kashima's interactions were quite possibly the most amusing and yet confusing things she'd ever had the pleasure of witnessing.

"I have… no idea."
