Hi! Remember me?

I know, I took my sweet time with this, but I've been waaaaay busier each time. I never forgot about this story though, it was always on the back of my mind and I wrote a bit at every chance I got. Today I had some time to sit and re-read it to make sure everything was the way I wanted it and finally I'm posting! YAY!

I'm sorry I haven't been answering to comments, let me do so now (I'm probably gonna answer some I already did, but I'm confused, so I'll just answer all reviews for the last chapter xD):

Previously in "Don't"

"OK, we'll be there" he said finally and hung up. Elsa looked at him questioningly, and Jack let himself sigh longingly before turning to her.

"Something's wrong, beautiful. Black's got Hiro, somehow, I know it. We need to go and find out why"

"What? What's he done to him?"

"I don't know..."

"It could be dangerous! Jack, if Peter hurts Hiro, I... I might not be able to control myself!" Elsa exclaimed with a frown. Jack grinned.

"I know. But now I can help, and we can do this together"

Chapter 19

Hiccup got out of his car without turning off the engine to stare at the couple that had been waiting for him outside the coffee house. He raised an eyebrow skeptically, and Jack smirked at him while holding a coffee cup forward.

"Caramel macchiato?" he asked sheepishly. Hiccup groaned.

"Dude, that's the first thing you say to me after calling me on the phone and blowing my freaking brains out with those news?!"

"... It has skim milk" Elsa offered with a slight smile of her own. Hiccup looked from her to Jack several times, glaring his frustration at them, before snatching the cup from Jack's hand.

"Give me that!" he said angrily, taking a small sip before speaking again "I can't believe you guys can casually come and get coffee given the circumstances"

"Well, Peter did say he would be at the park past midnight... And we were getting antsy" Elsa explained with a blush. Hiccup raised an eyebrow at her.

"And caffeine is going to take that edge off?"

"Hey, it seemed like a better idea than just waiting around" Jack interceded. The three of them got in the car as he spoke, Elsa preferring the back seat since it seemed like Hiccup and Jack needed some space to talk.

"So… You're Mr. Ice Queen now, uh Jack?" Hiccup said as soon as all car doors were closed. Jack rolled his eyes.

"I guess you could say that"

"It just happened. I really don't know if I can replicate it on anyone or Jack just happened to be compatible with that… trait of mine. We don't really know anything" Elsa added hastily.

"Does Peter Black know about this?" Hiccup asked with concern. Jack shook his head.

"We don't know. Hiro did know about it, but we can't be sure how much he has told Black about us"

"And by the way" Hiccup added as he adjusted his seat belt "what the hell is he trying to play at? Past midnight? It's ten o'clock already, we're not fucking vampires"

"I thought so as well, but I didn't want to press the issue. It might have negative repercussions on Hiro" Jack answered seriously. Hiccup grunted.

"And what is Hiro's status anyways? Is he like... captured? Did Peter Black kidnap him?"

"All I know is he was very... uncharacteristically mean to Elsa. And Black is using his phone for some reason"

"And they have Baymax with them" Elsa added from the back. Jack turned to look at her with surprise written all over his face, which made her blush "sorry I hadn't mention this..."

"How do you know that?" Hiccup inquired.

"Aunt Cass. She told me Hiro had gone home to get Baymax and left as soon as he got him. It was pretty stealthy too"

"This is too weird. It almost sounds as if Black somehow had power over Hiro" Jack observed. Hiccup was already driving towards their destination, so he didn't turn to look at any of them. He just grunted his discomfort again.

"How would that even be possible? I think he just convinced or threatened Hiro. Threatened most likely" he offered. Jack arched an eyebrow at him.

"Threatened with what?"

"I don't know, man, I don't pretend to fully understand that psycho"

"Where's Astrid, by the way?" Elsa asked curiously.

"She went to fetch the other dudes Hiro used to hang around with. You know, Fred and that tall dude and that tough girl and that tall cute one. I don't remember their names, but she thought their presence might help"

"I think it will, that was a good idea. Hiro has neglected his old friends lately..." Elsa agreed with a chagrin. She was feeling increasingly anxious about the whole situation.

"Give the guy a break, you both just came back" Hiccup added. Jack frowned at this.

"Yeah, but it still wouldn't hurt him to give them a call or something. Honey was worried about him"

"Who's Honey? The tough one or the cute one?" asked Hiccup, making Elsa flinch.

"Hey! Gogo is cute too!" she said defensively. Hiccup chuckled.

"So the cute one, then" he stated, and all Elsa could do was roll her eyes.

"Ugh, I still remember when you weren't such a misogynistic pig"

"El, I was kidding, OK? Where are we going, by the way?"

"To that creepy park on the outskirts of the city that you never want to go to because you say it gives you a bad feeling" Jack informed casually. Hiccup arched an eyebrow, looking annoyed.

"That's far" he stated simply. Jack shrugged.

"He probably didn't find a creepier location in town"

"Are we walking into some kind of trap? This sounds awfully fishy"

"I have the feeling we are…" Elsa said thoughtfully. Hiccup frowned.

"Well, we are all together in this. And Hiro can't seriously be helping Peter Black. He just might need some convincing that it's safe to act"

….

"I hate this place" Elsa said, and Jack felt helpless at hearing so much fear in her voice, but he could see her point. It was ten minutes before midnight and they were sitting at a park bench in the middle of the most dark and creepy-looking park ever to exist in the outskirts of town. He watched as Elsa hugged herself as though if she were cold, though he knew that wasn't it.

He and Elsa could not really feel cold anymore.

He wanted to hold her to calm her down, but his own shivering would let her in on his own fear. She too would know he wasn't shivering because of the cold. It wasn't even cold.

Hiccup was pacing around the park bench impatiently, so annoyingly he wanted to punch him in the face. It had been a long time since Jack had felt like punching Hiccup in the face. He'd forgotten the feeling.

Elsa jumped to her feet suddenly, looking angry.

"Hiccup, could you stop that, please?!" She urged. Hiccup, taken aback by her outburst, just stared at her with eyes wide open before managing to reply.

"I'm sorry, this is driving me insane! What are we supposed to be waiting for, anyway? What is that psycho actually expecting of us?!"

"I wish I knew, man, but who can get into that dude's mind?" Jack said with a side smirk. Hiccup raised an eyebrow at him.

"Who would want to?" he replied. Elsa sighed.

"This is ridiculous, we could've just met back at campus or some place more normal. He's acting like a freaking vampire" she complained, crossing her arms in front of her chest. Hiccup nodded.

"He certainly looks the part. Any whiter and the dude would be transparent" he said with a sarcastic chuckle. Jack rolled his eyes at this.

"Screw him, man, we wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for Hiro, and I really want to know what happened there. Hiro's head is hard as a rock, but he's no bully. Specially not to Elsa"

"Don't you be so sure about that" the three of them turned around with a jump at the sound of Peter Black's voice, who was now standing behind them just a bit out of reach of the light provided by the street light. He seemed to be trying to sink into the darkness of the night, which made him look creepy as hell.

"What the hell do you want, Pitch?!" Jack asked angrily. Elsa rolled her eyes.

"Will you stop calling Peter that? It sounds ridiculous"

"No no, Elsa dear, that's fine. I think Pitch suits me better than Peter" Black said with a wicked smile. Jack growled ever so slightly as a reaction to Pitch calling his girlfriend 'dear'.

"Ah, just cut to the chase, you moron! Where's Hiro?!" Hiccup demanded. He was feeling overly aggressive on account of him having to stand in the middle of a creepy park at midnight. Pitch laughed, which made him even angrier.

"There's no need to yell. He's right there, see?" he signaled, and the three friends turned around.

Hiro was standing there, casually, staring at them with disturbingly empty eyes. Eyes that, in fact, looked darker than usual, like if the white in his eyes had turned grey somehow. His skin seemed darker as well, and it was quite visible since he was wearing no jacket over his characteristic red T-shirt. Baymax was standing next to him, wearing his red armor, looking at Hiro in what seemed to be distress.

"Hiro's body temperature is abnormally low, but I detect no other malfunctions in his body. His skin has suffered decoloration and his eyes-" Baymax started briefing in his robotic but friendly voice, and was interrupted by Elsa.

"Hiro!" she exclaimed, running to him and holding him by the sides of his arms "what happened to you? What did-" she could not complete the sentence. Hiro frowned angrily, a vicious look taking over his usually soft features, and slapped Elsa with the back of his right hand. The girl, taken completely by surprise, fell to the ground next to him with a scream.

Hiccup held onto a very angry Jack as quick as he could. He immediately started feeling the temperature on his body dropping.

"Dude, dude, you need to calm down" he whispered as discreetly as he could. Jack wasn't having any of it though.

"LET GO OF ME, HICCUP! FUCKING LET ME GO, I'LL MAKE HIM WISH HE WAS NEVER BORN!"

"I know dude, I know! But Black doesn't… know! He doesn't know! We have an edge! Keep it to yourself for a bit more, please!" He insisted, already his chest and arms feeling numb with the cold radiating from the very pissed off Jack. His last sentences seemed to do the trick, though, for Jack calmed a bit and stopped whatever he had been doing before. He was still angry, but he was no longer freezing Hiccup to death.

Elsa clutched her cheek, her eyes wide in disbelief. The ground beneath her started freezing with a thick layer of ice that expanded from where she was touching it.

"What..." she started, before turning to look at Peter Black looking very angry herself "What did you do to Hiro?!"

"Oh? Why are you so sure I did something to him?"

"Because this isn't the Hiro I know! Hiro is kind and polite! He… he has a temper, but he would never hit me! And his skin color is currently the same as yours!" she pointed out, making Jack and Hiccup turn around to look at Black. He laughed.

"Very observant" he said, and his eyes glowed yellow. He raised his open palm, pointed at the sky, and a weird black sand radiated from it, whirling around him like a slow tornado. Hiccup let go of Jack and both of them just stared at him in disbelief.

"What the hell…" Jack muttered at the spectacle. Elsa got up from where she had fallen to the ground and snow started falling around them. Hiccup turned to look at Elsa when he noticed this: she looked menacing now, like an angry big sister who's little brother has been hurt.

"So I see you had secrets of your own" she said accusingly, her fists clenched.

Jack pondered on this. Should he reveal his newfound power to Black now, and hope the menace alone would drive him away? He didn't even know what Peter Black's dark sand actually did, or the full extent of his power in general.

Hiccup stared at Jack and shook his head discreetly. It was not the time. Jack wasn't so sure, but he would listen to his friend… for now.

"So you see, my dear Elsa, we have so much in common" Peter said, playing with the dark sand that floated around his finger, caressing its presence. Elsa's fists were now covered in a menacing frost that almost seemed to be glowing red.

"And why exactly is that?" She asked. Peter opened his arms, with an expression of someone who's stating the obvious.

"Darkness and Ice are more compatible than you think. Your ice will only get stronger if you give into darkness and join me. Much like how Hiro gave into darkness himself"

"You are lying… Hiro would never do that. You must've forced him" she growled. Peter Black shook his head with an infuriating smile.

"Oh no, I just gave him the extra push her needed, but I wouldn't have been able to do so if he hadn't had a heart filled with darkness already"

"What the hell are you talking about, Pitch?!" Jack demanded. Peter have him an annoyed glance, almost as if saying 'oh, you're still here'.

"Well, I wouldn't have been able to take over him as easily if he wasn't already fighting his own inner darkness. It's all very common, everyday stuff, really. You know, being in love with a girl that will never be interested in him, that will always see him like a child, and hating the man that, to his eyes, so easily swept her off her feet despite everything he's been through with her… it's a textbook recipe for a heart filled with darkness" Black said, with annoying smug smile plastered on his face. Elsa wanted to punch that smile off.

"What do you want, Peter?! Just say it already!" she demanded, her patience wearing off with every word he uttered.

"You" he said his voice sounding almost sweet as he did, looking at Elsa with adoration "Don't you see, Elsa? Our power was born together, made to be one! With you by my side nothing could ever stop us from anything"

Hiccup was about to make a comment about how he had sounded like a ridiculous movie character when he said those words, but Jack's wrath sent that smart retort into oblivion.

"OVER MY DEAD BODY!" He yelled, extending his open palms towards an unsuspecting Peter Black and shooting ice without any regard of consequence wheresoever. Black only had a few seconds to react and move, and the ice got his arm, painfully freezing his upper arm and shoulder. He clutched his damaged limb and screamed in pain. Jack stared at him with contempt.

"With all the high-and-mighty vibe you had going on, I bet you didn't expect that!"

"YOU!" Black growled with fury. Elsa gasped.

"Jack, his arm! That could have permanent consequences! Please, you don't want to be responsible for that!" she pleaded, worried about Jack's future safety.

"Fine!" He spat, removing the ice from Black's arm with a wave of his arm "You're not worth Elsa's worry"

"You!" Black repeated, still clutching his arm and staring at him with angry wide eyes, looking as if though someone had betrayed him in the worst possible way "You! How's is that possible?!"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Jack said with a smirk, contempt still written all over his face and stance.

That's all Peter Black could take.

Losing all composure, he charged at Jack, black dust whirling all around the two fighting young men. Jack was waiting for him off course, and the two engaged in what could only be described as a vicious, magical street fight.

Hiro took a step forward.

"Baymax… Destroy!" he ordered, making Elsa flinch with horror. Baymax turned with his innocent robotic stare.

"My programming prevents me from injuring other human beings" he stated calmly. Hiro's frown deepened, eyes glowing unnaturally yellow.

"Not anymore" Hiro said, opening Baymax's disc port with a punch. He extracted the disc programmed by his brother and threw it backwards with no regard for where it landed. Elsa covered her mouth with a gasp. Hiro treasured that disc, it was one of the most important things left from his brother.

Baymax's eyes turned red, and Elsa knew they were in for trouble.

"NO!" she screamed as she shot Baymax, freezing him in a block as quickly as her powers would let her. Baymax got encased in ice, but only temporarily. When he started glowing, Elsa remembered his ability to radiate heat.

The ice broke and Baymax was free once more in no time. Oh, she was in trouble.

Baymax fired his armor first at Elsa, which she stopped at the last seconds with a thick wall of ice just wide enough for the first to crash on it and not hit her. She fell backwards from the force of the impact and quickly scrambled to get feet. Baymax was slowly, but very menacingly, advancing towards her.

At least he wasn't charging Jack while he was busy fighting Peter, she thought. She just hoped she would be able to survive that specific diversion tactic.

"What the hell, man?! Stop this, you'll hurt Elsa!" Hiccup yelled in Hiro's face, grabbing him by the shirt. Hiro glared at him.

"Not more than how she's hurt me up to now" he replied calmly.

Hiccup lost it and punched him in the face, and a fist fight started between the two.

Elsa tumbled and fell forward to the ground. Even though she was able to soften her fall with her hands and arms, she got scratches on them and bruised her knee. There was no time to think about minor injuries, though, since she had to roll to the side quickly to avoid Baymax's fist, which buried itself in the ground where she'd been.

Again she scrambled to her feet and tried to run, always avoiding Jack's direction. By the looks of it he was having enough trouble with Peter.

She turned and shot Baymax a sharp and thick icicle, but he broke out with a swing of his first. She gasped. He was too strong.

"Elsa!" to her utter horror, she heard her sister calling her and saw her not fat away.

"Anna! What are you doing here?!" she asked fearfully "Get away from me! It's dangerous! Baymax is-"

"What's wrong with Baymax?" She heard behind her, and then noticed her sister wasn't alone.

Kristoff was currently trying to separate Jack and Peter (not being very successful) and Astrid was trying to break the fight between Hiro and Hiccup (not being very successful either). Honey Lemon was the one standing behind Elsa, starting at Baymax in horror.

"Watch out!" Elsa yelled, pushing Honey aside as Baymax struck once more. The robot's fist got there side of Elsa's arm this time, and even though it just brushed the side of it, the force was enough to break Elsa's elbow.

She fell on her knees and screamed in pain.

"ELSA!" Jack yelled in worry at the sound of her pain, but before he could do anything, Black's dark sand pinned him down and immobilized his arms. Black started down at him with an evil grin.

"Eyes in the fight, Overland!" he said, making Jack glare back at him with hate.

Meanwhile, Elsa and Honey were cornered. Elsa couldn't move as swiftly as before, and Honey didn't want to abandon her. Baymax towered over them menacingly, coming closer for his final strike.

"HONEY, CATCH!" yelled Gogo suddenly, approaching the scene at high speed on her custom-made bike, throwing something at Honey and Elsa as she came close enough to do so. Honey rolled forward and caught the item, launching herself at Baymax.

Elsa, reacting fast at the circumstances, shot Baymax to bind him with ice as long as her powers allowed it. It turned out to be just enough time, though.

The item Gogo had thrown was Baymax's disc. Honey had reinstalled it with the little time Elsa's powers had granted her.

"Sorry it took me so long to find that thing, though it would've been harder if it had been a darker color" Gogo told Elsa as she got to her, getting off her bind and helping her up. Elsa smiled widely at her.

"Thank you, I had run out of ideas by the time you guys got here" she admitted.

"You are injured" Baymax said, now having returned to his usual friendly self "My program was breached. I am sorry for any distress I may have caused"

"Don't worry, Baymax, I think we have more pressing issues at hand" Elsa said, running towards Jack, still clutching her injured arm.

Hiccup and Hiro were no longer fighting. Astrid had pinned Hiro down and Hiccup looked like he was ready to fight no one else at the moment, a black eye adorning his face. Gogo reached them in a hurry.

"Astrid, let go of Hiro" she requested. Astrid turned to look at her like she was crazy, and with good reason: she was having a hard time keeping him restrained. Hiro was acting all out of control with rage, and he was trying his best to free himself from Astrid's grip.

"What?! Look at him! He's-"

"Just trust me, please" she asked, sounding as calm as she could manage. Astrid hesitated for a moment, but then jumped swiftly to the side. Hiro got to his feet gracefully, throwing his feet and legs forward. He stood in front of Gogo with his angry eyes glowing yellow, but Gogo didn't flinch.

She launched forward and hugged him. Hiro froze, eyes widening at the unexpected action.

"Hiro, I know you're still in there. I know you're afraid, and you feel like everyone let you down but that's not true! You just haven't been looking!" She urged with intensity "Let go of this none sense, Hiro… we are your friends, and we love you. Elsa is your friend as well, and Jack. Don't dismiss them because things didn't go your way. Please come back..."

At first, Hiro tried to push her away, but Gogo resisted. When he stopped struggling, though, his skin started changing color, and the dark sand started to pull away from his body. His eyes stopped glowing and, suddenly, a very confused Hiro Hamada shook his head and looked around him.

"What...what just happened?" He asked, staring at Astrid and Hiccup, who stared back in confusion. He then looked down and hugged Gogo "Oh gosh, what did I do? I'm so sorry..."

"Dude, it's good to have you back and everything, but Jack and Elsa need help" Hiccup noted.

Elsa got to Peter Black as he was about to punch Jack and blocked him with an ice barrier that grew amazingly fast from the ground up to his fist, standing right between them. Kristoff looked at her thankfully: he had evidently not been able to accomplish anything with the pair, being the normal human he was.

"Peter, this has to stop!" She yelled. Peter Black turned to look at her, confusion written all over his features.

"But why?! How is this possible?! How can the likes of him be like you?! You're my queen!"

"What are you talking about? You're delusional!" She replied with a raised eyebrow. Peter almost growled.

"Did you give him power? Is that it?"

"Peter, please stop, no one is talking about any kind of power here, we just need to talk about this. We can help each other" Elsa pleaded.

Peter wasn't listening, though, and he stomped on the ground with rage, causing a lot of creepy black horses to materialize around him. Everyone gasped at the sight of those creatures. They looked vicious, and their eyes glowed just like Hiro's had before, when he had been possessed by Peter's dark magic.

"No, I'm not listening to anything while these people are here! This was supposed to be between you and me, Elsa!"

"But there is nothing between you and me, Peter, you need to understand this! You have this… this delusion that we-"

"I don't have a delusion, you just don't get it!" he interrupted. The black horses were looking more menacing by the minute, they seemed to be emitting some kind of low growl, their eyes glowing brighter than before.

"What are those creatures?" Jack interceded, uneasy. Black looked at him in exasperation.

"Nightmares. They live off people's fear, just like my power"

"Fear? Who's fear? I'm not afraid" Hiccup offered, shrugging calmly "The way I see it, we already won"

"I'm not afraid either" Jack stated with a frown. Elsa straightened her back and stared at Peter defiantly.

"Neither am I"

"No one here's afraid, Peter. This is over" Astrid added, stepping next to Hiccup as everyone else present just nodded at her.

"Oh, you're not? Then what are these doing here?" he asked with a sneer. Jack crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"Well, we're not afraid but… are you?" he offered with a smirk.

Peter Black's confidence wavered at this. Suddenly, the black horses were staring at him intently, hungrily.

He stepped back.

"No, this can't be..." he muttered. But he knew in his heart it was true. It was his own fear that was keeping his black sand creatures alive.

And that couldn't end well for him.

"NO! NOOOOO!" he screamed, running off in the opposite direction, followed viciously by the dark stallions that chased him into the shadows, all of them disappearing into the night as Peter's screams got lost in the nightly silence.

It was all over before anyone could fully understand what had happened. Elsa dropped to her knees and covered her eyes, suddenly letting herself go and crying like a younger version of herself.

…..

Here goes nothing! Thanks for reading, we're just missing the final chapter!
