She had been acting strangely lately, not that he had been paying particular attention, but when his favourite source of entertainment started completely avoiding both him and the other No Names he was bound to get suspicious. He had noticed how he only managed to catch one glimpse of her each day and even so, it only lasted barely a few seconds. He had tried asking the little runt as to where Kurousagi was sneaking off to but even he didn't know the answer. Izayoi knew he shouldn't try overthinking things yet he couldn't help it, he was bored (and there was a little something else too).

But this was going to be the last straw. He was going to find out where that Moon Rabbit hopped off to for the past week and get some much needed answers. He never actually realised how big of a role Kurousagi had in his life until she started avoiding him, he thought in distaste.

So he stayed up until dawn when he knew she would come home, where she would only get barely an hours worth of sleep before going off again. It was a wonder the rabbit didn't sport any heavy eyebags, instead looking as spic and span as always. When he caught a glimpse of her leaving the base, he made his move.

Stealthily Izayoi kept his pace behind her, using the covers of the night to conceal him from her prying crimson eyes. He hid behind bushes and moved between shadows as he followed her to her destination where she was looking particularly enthusiastic.

Finally she arrived, stopping in front of what looked like a giant hole in the ground. Then just like that she jumped in, completely disappearing from the outside world. Izayoi's brows furrowed as he ran out, staring down at the rabbit hole in wonder. Where could this lead to?

Without hesitation he jumped in, using his gift to decelerate in order to prevent unnecessary noise. When the hole finally stopped going at a slope he stood up and brushed off the dirt before he followed the trail, noting how fire torches were lit along the pathway. There was no need to strain his eyes anymore he guessed as he quickly moved along the path in a hurry to reach Kurousagi.

As he moved along he saw a bright light near the end of the tunnel and heard some noise accompanying it. Without time to lose he rushed forward as quietly as he could, stopping just before the entrance so as to conceal himself with the shadows. He peeked a violet eye in, his eyebrows rising in surprise. So this is what she's been doing, he couldn't help but remark with a smirk.

In the centre of the vast area was a large basket overflowing with patterned and bright coloured eggs which he could only guess to be chocolate in content. Beside the basket was the notorious Moon Rabbit, carefully checking each egg with a small smile on her face.

"So you're the Easter Bunny now, huh Kurousagi?" came a taunting remark from the entrance of the clearing, causing the Moon Rabbit in question to stop abruptly as she stiffly turned her head to face the source.

There he was, in all his glory, the problem child with his hands inside his pant pockets and his lips twisted into his signature smirk. Kurousagi forced a smile as she tried to rid herself of the shock she was experiencing. "I-Izayoi-san?" she stuttered out in surprise, willing her body to move as she moved in front of the basket.

Izayoi only raised an eyebrow as he slowly approached her, watching as how she began to slightly sweat. "What's wrong with you Kurousagi? You look a little pale," he commented, watching her features twist into a frown as she bit her lip.

"What is Izayoi-san doing here? Kurousagi's going to get in so much trouble," she muttered to herself in worry, puzzling the blond.

"Why not?"

She turned to look at him. "Because it's not Easter yet and Kurousagi hasn't handed out the eggs," she replied, motioning to the basket.

"What happened to the real Easter Bunny then?" he asked curiously.

"He decided to take a small vacation this year, so he left Kurousagi in charge of this year's Easter celebrations," she explained proudly.

Izayoi moved behind her to reach for an Easter egg, which he twirled in his fingers. "Want me to help you?" he offered nonchalantly, stunning the rabbit.

"Eh? Izayoi-san would really do that?" she exclaimed in surprise. He shrugged. "Why not?"

The wind suddenly got knocked out of him as a blur of blue rushed into his arms, enveloping him into a tight hug. He couldn't say that he didn't enjoy the hug, not with her particularly voluptuous body pressed up against him, but he really needed to breathe so he reluctantly pulled away, watching her grin in happiness.

"Thank you Izayoi-san!" she exclaimed joyfully.

He waved her off. "Sure sure, I was getting bored anyway. There's just one condition."

Izayoi watched as her face turned from one of joy into one of surprise and mortification as she placed her arms over her chest, flustered. "N-Nothing sexual!"

He had to suppress a laugh, wanting to taunt her because she was making it just so easy but he couldn't, not when his stomach was growling like it hadn't been fed for days.

"I want an Easter Egg you dumb rabbit," he said, twirling the egg between his fingers.

Embarrassed at her overreaction, she nodded shyly. "Go ahead Izayoi-san, eat as much as you want. There's enough for everyone."

He didn't hear her as he tore open the foil wrapping on the egg, popping the chocolatey goodness into his mouth without a second to waste. Kurousagi could only watch as he stuffed his mouth, and made a mess of all the wrappings on the floor.

She groaned. "Izayoi-san!"
