A/N: Hello! You're probably wondering - WTF! Tana's back? Nope! Tori's back ;D If you missed that on my Twitter, I let my name out of the closet lol. That's not why I'm back though!

I genuinely like this story - but there's this little thing that happens called... umm... I don't know. Life? Normal human development? Change of interest? Lack of interest? Writer's block? ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Basically:

1. Junior year is killing me.

2. I'm having a harder time keeping up with PLL - it's not interesting me as much as normal. Same with Emison in general.

3. I lost a lot of inspiration for this story, and it's not my intention to post bad updates. (This doesn't count, because all this is is a cut scene between the last chapter and the next intended chapter - the date).

That being said, while I LOVE that so many people love this story and want me to keep updating, I would like to request that you all try not to be rude at all when you're asking me to update. I love you all, and I want to keep you all happy, but I won't sacrifice my sanity for this story. It took me about half an hour to pop out this chapter, because it takes time for me to plot my ideas, especially when I haven't written in a while. Normally I can get half of a full chapter out in half an hour - about 700 more words than this is.

I post fanfiction because I love to write it, and when it comes to the point that it's not fun for me to write, I don't think that it's fair for me to have to write and write and write. When real published authors get bored with an idea and have no fun writing it anymore, they probably don't continue it, because no one will be upset anyway - after all, they haven't published it. Fanfiction adds the interactive bit, where people can read what I'm writing as I progress. That means when I run out of ideas, you all notice, because I stop posting.

I'm sorry that this is the way it is. I have no intention of completely abandoning this story, and that's why I'm updating now. As it seems, though, I've gotten really into The 100 and Clexa, and that's mostly what I've been writing. If you're interested, be sure to wait for my next Clexa story. It will possibly go up before this story updates next, because I need time for this story.

That's all I ask from you guys - time and understanding.

Thank you, and here's a little cut scene. :)

To Emily – Just wear something casual – like normal clothes! :)

Alison sent the text at noon, five hours before the time that she'd already set with Emily to pick her up. She'd picked something easy for them to go do – the arcade. She had considered a real dinner, but after picturing it in her head, she'd decided that it was too much. She then considered a movie, but she loved talking to Emily, and movies were not the best thing to go to for talking.

So she'd decided on an arcade, but her usual nerves were acting up, and she wanted to make sure that Emily was okay with her picked activity.

To Emily – Is the arcade okay?

She wasn't doing anything aside from trying to do homework and texting Emily, and she was too distracted to really make progress on the paper she was trying to write – so she tapped her pencil against the blank paper as she waited for Emily's response. It didn't take too long, but it was enough time to make her tapping get faster.

From Emily – Okay, and of course, sounds fun! :D

And suddenly, Alison was calm again.

She was for a little while anyway, until it was further into the afternoon and she began to get ready for her date. Even though nothing was getting too serious too quickly, she was still unbelievably nervous to be close to Emily. Could anyone really blame her, though?

She hoped not.

Meanwhile, though, Emily was just as flustered in her own room, looking through her closet. She knew that she shouldn't dress up – Alison said so anyway. She was nervous anyway.

She was trying to get her nerves out of her system before the actual date though, because she didn't want to make Alison anymore nervous than she probably already was.

That's why she ended up picking a simple outfit only a bit nicer than one that she would wear to school, and why she took a shower to calm herself.

Today was her first date with Alison, and she wasn't going to screw it up.
