Danny Phantom: Secrets and Trials

(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! How are you all doing? I know it has been a LONG time since I updated this story, but I will continue on with it! In addition, since I am taking a bit of a break from my Toho/Disney stories, I will be focusing more on this trilogy series.

Before I do anything else, I want to give praise and thanks to God. Lord, thank you for being with me & for guiding me & my family to you. Thank you for the gift of imagination you have given me, and also for doing what I can for my family and friends in your name. Thank you Jesus Christ for giving me the strength, courage, wisdom, conviction, determination, drive and perseverance to continue on! Both with the story, and with you!

To JudgeDreddSA: Thanks for the review, and also for the suggestion. I have sent my seventh attempt to Disney concerning my Monsters and Magic series, and also included my House of Mouse/Godzilla specials as well. I can only hope for the best, but also will take your suggestion seriously as best I can.

To Rat bomber: Thank you for answering my questions, and I really do hope that you continue to enjoy the story! Danny Phantom stories are not exactly my area of expertise, but will try and do my best.

To detheroc: Thank you for the words, answering my questions and also the suggestions! I will try to develop Dan Phantom as much as I can, but he will remain a villain first and foremost. What he does in the future… well, just have to wait and see.

To Blue Marvel 0: Thanks for the review, and yes Dan Phantom learned the hard but true way on what it means to take on devil-class warriors. And also, big old-school fan of Dragonball and Dragonball Z series! I like Dragonball GT as well, but the rest of the series… not so much.

I will try to do my best with this story, that is all I can offer. Also, it will have Christian themes in it & that I am proud to say! Also, I must state this for all to hear. Even though this is a Danny/Harem story, there will be NO slashes of any kind here! Read my profile to see why. I stand firm in what I believe in, and so this story will not feature slash or femme-slash action of any kind. Strictly straight pairings here & action.

And before we officially start the story, I do have one request. Can any you please check out my Monsters and Magic stories, and any of my House of Mouse/Godzilla specials? I really take great care and pride in my Disney/Toho stories, and still hoping to get a positive word from Walt Disney Animation Studios on it. And if any of you are willing to do any kind of advertisement for them, like video reviews of them on YouTube, I would be very grateful for that. It is all up to you, of course.

I do not own Danny Phantom or the characters from said series, as they belong to Butch Hartman when the cartoon series aired on Nickelodeon. I do own my OC creations, but always want to show & give credit where it is due. I also do not own the Yu-Gi-Oh series; the manga versions appearing in 1996 & published by Shueisha. Written by Kazuki Takahashi and featured in Weekly Shōen Jump magazine. The anime series appeared in 1998, directed by Hiroyuki Kakudō and owned by company Toei Animation Studio.

I also do not own Dragonball Z, neither the anime nor the manga series. The manga version was created by Akira Toriyama & published in Weekly Shōen Jump magazine from 1988 to 1995. The anime series was produced by Toei Animation, produced by Kenji Shimizu & Kōji Kaneda, directed by Daisuke Nishio and aired in Japan in 1989, going all the way through to 1996.

Also, the movie mentioned here Return of the Jedi was created on May 1983, by the production company Lucasfilm Ltd and distributed by 20th Century Fox. The producer was Howard Kazanjian, director was Richard Marquand with story done by George Lucas.

Any songs I might use here in this story, I will give full credit and props to those that created it. The artist/artists will receive the full credit and right that is his/hers/theirs. Same with movies I show here as well.

Now, on with the story!)

Chapter 13

Dan Phantom, Kitty Melicent and Clockwork were in the time bubble that the Semi-Immortal created, seeing history itself going all around them at blinding speed as they journeyed back to the future. The green-haired beauty looked back at the alternate evil version of Danny Phantom, who had managed to muster enough strength to sit within the sphere. The fused specter was not saying anything at the moment, his eyes covered by his hair and the bruises on his body still showing. Kitty looked to Clockwork and inquired, "Is he… Is he going to be alright?". She was concerned for the fused spirit yes, but that was it. He was too malicious, too immersed in evil to let anything spark between them.

The potent Semi-Immortal looked to Dan briefly before answering, "I will need to take him back to my realm and to heal his wounds. But he will be fine... but I believe his pride is what is really damaged here, Miss Melicent.".

The fused ghost looked up, showing a glare full of hate and anger to Clockwork. Kitty flinched and hid behind the powerful user of Time, but said specter was non-plused by the look. Dan Phantom stated, "I was caught off-guard, you old fool! I didn't expect for that devil-class being to…!". He was cut off as the time bubble soon burst, showing that they were now back in the future. In fact, they were back in Amity Park & on the rooftop of the Fenton's! Luckily for them, the automated ghost defense system was offline at the moment due to Jack & Maddie performing their experiments down below.

Clockwork still had his back turned to Phantom and remarked with a sharp tone, "Yes, you DIDN'T expect a foe so strong. A foe that is in another league in and of itself compared to most mortals or spirits you fought in your reality. You let your arrogance, pride and foolishness cloud your judgement. You allowed yourself to think you can outwit something that has been deceiving mortals & specters since it was created.". Kitty backed off a bit from the Semi-Immortal, never hearing words delivered in such a tone that it could cut through solid steel beams. Dan Phantom just continued to glare, but his head was down at the moment.

The powerful spirit in charge of Time turned and around, floating towards the upset fused being. He stated firmly, "If you are not prepared to learn from this encounter… than you are truly more foolish than I was led to believe. I will heal you, but that will be all unless you are ready commit yourself to doing better against a force like that.".

Dan Phantom growled, but he knew that Clockwork's words struck true into his being. He thought, 'As much I hate to even admit this in my own head… he is right. I… I was severely outclassed. I need to get stronger, better in order to take on these demons and devils! And also… to eliminate that damn Otaktay if he is still around!'. What he didn't know was that the powerful A-ranked, Physical-class lighting devil being was defeated & destroyed by Hototo and the Sioux warriors many millennia ago.

The alternate evil spirit growled, swallowing whatever pride he had left and stating, "I will… I will… I will do as you say, Clockwork. Please… teach me… to be… better.". In his view, it was extremely tough to even form the words let alone say them. Clockwork looked pleased, seeing Dan forcing his stubborn pride down to ask for help in such a manner showed that he was willing now to do what he planned for him.

He nodded, then turned towards Kitty. Clockwork asked, "And as for you, young lady… what will you do now?".

The biker beauty looked at him for a moment, than at Dan who continued to look down at the roof as he wanted no part of this in anyway. She than remembered what she had witnessed back in the past, and now it was easy for her to come to a decision. Easy to make yes, the follow-through… that was going to be difficult. Kitty answered, "I'm… I'm going to tell Danny and the divas on what happened between me and Pariah Dark. I'm going to tell them that he appointed me his emissary, and that he wishes to seek an alliance with him.".

Clockwork had a small but warm smile on his face, as he approached the young female spirit & put a hand on her shoulder. He stated, "Truly child, you have more courage and bravery than most spirits do if they were in your position now. Most would have fled to either get away from either one, or try to use one against the other. But you… you have honor. Something to keep in mind, my dear.". The Semi-Immortal's words really touched her heart, and also gave her strength as well as she smiled & nodded to him. The old Kitty would have schemed of ways to make this work to her advantage, or to flee fast from the scene so she could escape the wrath of either the Divas or Pariah Dark.

And though the Ghost King was formidable, well… hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn. And with five Elemental Divas, each trained by an extremely potent Heavenly warrior, and very protective of their chosen man… she believed that there wouldn't be enough of her left to fill even a teaspoon halfway should they chase her down.

But now… this new Kitty was different, and so far it was all good. She replied, "Thank you for the words, Sir Clockwork. And thank you for showing me on what Danny and the others are truly up against now. I don't think I will ever forget what I saw, even if I tried.".

Clockwork remarked, "True, but I believe that you will be able to get better from this experience. Now, I must go back. And I believe you have a mission of your own to fulfill.". He then floated back to a still-sitting Dan Phantom, waving his Time Staff which covered the duo in a white energy field… and they were gone in a flash of light!

Kitty was now alone on the rooftop, the beautiful young woman spirit feeling the wind blowing lightly all around her. She looked up to the heavens, looking up at the sky that was showing twilight at the moment. Kitty took all of it in, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath before exhaling. She said to herself, "Okay… time to do this. I just hope that Danny and the others can understand the new position I'm in.". She leapt into the air, about to fly fast from the building… when she turned around to see that she was exactly where she wanted to be! Sending a mental thank you to Clockwork, knowing that he brought them at that particular place on purpose, she started to float towards the building establishment to see if she can talk to Danny.

What she didn't know was that hiding behind the doorway entrance/exit on the rooftop were two of King Pariah Dark's skeletal minions! These were the ones that had been appointed the task of keeping an eye on their liege's new emissary. They looked at one another before unrolling the Two-Way Scroll, which was a unique parchment that allowed the user to contact the one who had the other. Said piece of paper soon glowed a light blue color, and on said scroll appeared the face of the King of All Ghosts himself! Pariah Dark inquired, "You already have something worthwhile to report, I trust?".

Though the skeletons looked firmly at their king, it was their way of communicating. They had no vocal chords, so they used telepathy to project their thoughts into mental words that only Pariah could understand. After some moments, his eyes widened if only a fraction as his minions relayed on what they saw. He stated, "Hmmm… so even Clockwork is in on this. That Semi-Immortal spirit is bringing Kitty into the fold… and that new ghost? Who or what was it?". Even though the massive spirit was ruler of Purgatory, he did not know everything that occurred. Especially if it was outside his realm, such as in the Realm of Immortals and Semi-Immortals.

Pariah Dark would normally leave the potent time specter alone, but these were trying times and so a decision was made. He looked to his skeletal lackeys and stated, "Good work you two. Keep your distance for the moment since you are at the boy's home. But maintain close watch, and wait until Kitty emerges to resume your reconnaissance. Understood?". The soldiers nodded before the light on the scroll died, rolling back up as it automatically flew towards the royal ruler of the Ghost Zone, going into his right pocket.

He rose up from his throne and said to himself, "Its time I paid Clockwork a visit. That new ghost that was reported… I must find out who or what it is. If it was with that Time-user, than it can only mean it is of great significance.". Pariah turned into vapor, going through the walls of his castle and to the courtyard. He turned into his solid form, and raised his hand once more. In just a few seconds, coming forth was an ominous-looking carriage that looked to be the stuff of nightmares. The coachman on top was a skeleton with a fancy hat, and pulling the carriage were six skeletal horses that had flaming fireballs for eyes and spikes on their forelegs!

The door opened for the royal ghost, who stepped into the carriage and it closed automatically. He announced within the structure, "To Clockwork's abode, and be quick about it.". The coachman lifted up the whip and brought it down with a mighty crack like thunder, the horses neighing powerfully before rushing off into the sky! It would seem that Clockwork would get some interesting company soon…

~In the mortal realm~

Meanwhile, Danny was with Samantha in the living room watching the Disney film The Three Musketeers. The duo were at the scene now where D'Artagnan was about to be executed, but he was getting help from three famous Musketeers in disguise. The character Porthos just stated, "This axe was a gift to me from the czarina of Tokyo.". And that is when the two had an unusual visitor coming into the room… more specifically, coming over the television as she phased through the wall. Samantha yelped a bit in surprise at seeing Kitty, but Danny was puzzled at seeing her. He paused the movie and got up from the couch to his recently new friend.

He inquired, "Kitty? What are you doing here? What's up Is everything alright?". Said ghost was touched by the halfa's concern, revealing two things. One, was that she truly had nothing to freak out about earlier. What Clockwork stated some time ago was true, Danny had changed for the better and was really not like his old self. His old self would most likely have had blasted her right there and then after phasing through the wall, but it was not the case.

The second thing was that the other ladies that were bonded to Fenton were the lucky ones; having such a rare young man to have such qualities like that certainly counted them as blessed.

She remembered what she came to tell him, and a bit of sadness was on her face. Danny caught it, and so did Sam though she was still a little wary of the spirit. Kitty answered, "Well… there is something that just happened recently. I was afraid to tell you on how you might react… especially after you all took me into your circle of friends.". Fenton went to her, putting a hand on her shoulder that got her to look at him in the eyes.

He said, "Kitty, you can trust me and the others to not lose our cool and just snap you out like that. Have a bit more faith in me and my friends, please.". She felt relieved, and also a bit embarrassed at the same time due to not having much confidence in Danny or his friends.

She took a deep breath and said, "Thank you. Why I am here concerns… well… Pariah Dark. You see…". She started to explain everything on what occurred between her and the King of All Ghosts. Needless to say, the two teenagers were surprised that the biker beauty was now Pariah Dark's appointed emissary & that said royal ghost wanted to make an alliance in the future!

Samantha exclaimed, "Kitty, why?! Why would the King of All Ghosts make you his representative, and also want to make an alliance with Danny?! After what he put us through last time, I wouldn't trust that guy any farther than I could throw him!".

Danny looked to his gothic friend and remarked, "I believe that even he sees a bigger picture here, Sam.". She looked at him, and Kitty had a feeling on what the young budding Christian warrior was about to say.

He continued, "Pariah Dark is one of the most powerful spirits we have faced, Dan Phantom being number one but that is due to him being a fusion of my spirit half & Vlad's spirit half from an alternate future. He maybe a lot of things Sam, but an idiot he isn't. He most likely knows & believes that more demons and devils will be coming from the Underworld, and he wants to be ready. And he doesn't have the power to face this kind of force on his own, even with his crown and ring.".

Kitty put in, "Yeah, he basically told me that himself when I was brought to him. He said that he lost his eye fighting a B-ranked demon in the past, and that was when he was in his prime.". This startled the mortals, especially Samantha since she had seen the damage that Vertigo did earlier… and that demon was a C-ranked one!

Samantha was a stubborn one though and said, "But Danny, we just can't go to make an alliance with Pariah! It's just too risky! He could try to stab you in the back when this is all done!".

The Fenton lad stated, "True, but I am not going to make a decision this big on my own. I'm going to tell the others tomorrow on this, and we'll all make a decision together. And besides, we don't have to make an alliance right away.". Danny had decided to always discuss matters of great importance to his companions; his mortal friends, his Elemental Divas & his mentors. And with something has huge as an alliance with Pariah Dark, surely words from all were needed.

Kitty gave a soft smile and said, "And I was afraid you would think I have betrayed you and your friends like being his representative…".

Danny gave his own smile and remarked, "Once upon a time, I would have thought that. But now, I think more clearly with both my gut, heart and mind.". Fenton was far from perfect, but he was learning to trust all three of his instincts as best he could. He was still learning, mind you, but he was getting there bit by bit.

Samantha was still skeptical about this, but she held her tongue for the moment. After her talk with Danny earlier, she didn't want to risk any alienation from her secret crush. Kitty asked, "So… what should we do now?".

The young lad thought on it for a moment and replied, "How about you stay here with me and Sam in watching the movie? Everyone else is busy at the moment, and it would be good to have an extra friend here. Unless you have somewhere else to be…".

The lovely young woman spirit thought on it for but a moment, but smiled and answered that she would love to see the movie they were watching. Sam told her that they were watching a Disney movie, hoping that she did not like Disney. Alas, along with being an anime fan, young Miss Melicent was also a fan of Walt Disney. Not a big a fan as she was of the anime series, but enough to want to see the 1993 live-action film The Three Musketeers! The green-haired biker cutie sat down on the couch, plopping between Samantha and Danny took up the remote to un-pause the movie. He looked to Kitty and asked, "Would you like to watch the beginning, or where we are right now?".

Kitty answered that she would like to see the beginning, as she had never seen the movie before. So Danny turned the movie back all the way to the beginning, Samantha secretly having a very sour look on her face as her plans to spend some quality time with Fenton was now gone in the wind.

~At the Foley residence~

While the Fenton household was watching a good movie at the moment, Tucker had just finished explaining to his new friend Macawi Kohana on the situation concerning Vigoro Strongarm and the establishment he was running. The pure-blooded Sioux teen was incensed upon hearing the words from Tucker, as she had a great deal of love and respect for nature. Her people had been taught for many generations on to give proper respect and props to the wild beings of the land, especially those that were considered apex predators. To hear of Vigoro's cruelty to those that were trusted and loved by the real owners of the circus, it made her blood boil!

She did manage some self-control at the moment, but even Tucker could see that she was about to erupt. She spoke in a firm tone, "Are you sure of this, Tucker? Are you sure of these allegations?". The African-American teen nodded, saying that his source was quite reliable and trustworthy. Of course, he edited the part in telling her that the source was in actuality a fused ghost animal that were the spirits of the ones that got executed by Vigoro.

Tucker stated, "I was about to go back online and try to get some physical evidence of Mr. Strongarm's activities, and also some solid evidence that he has threatened & blackmailed certain former employees from going to the authorities. But now after what you just warned me about earlier, I'm afraid that it's going to be difficult now to hack into their sites to get the info.".

Macawi felt the gears in her head grinding away, thinking fast & hard on how to help Tucker with the situation at hand. She than remembered something when coming to the house, and an idea popped into her head! Miss Kohana asked, "Tucker, I have an idea on how to get rid at least one of your problems. But I have to know one thing…".

The young lad looked perplexed and answered, "And that would be…?".

The blush that stained the young Sioux girl's face made her look cute and adorable to Tucker as she answered, "Would you mind… pretending to be a couple with me? Like sitting here directly on the bed with me?".

His response was his own face gaining a significant amount of blood to his cheeks, with his mouth hanging open and his eyes wide which his glasses magnified the effect. She giggled a little at seeing his expression, which was in her view priceless. She patted the side of the bed to him, gesturing the shocked teenage boy to join her. He woodenly nodded his head and walked to his own comforter, soon sitting down next to her. Macawi smirked slightly and closed his mouth with her slender finger, bringing Tucker back to reality.

She whispered, "Shhh… now get close to me and make it look like we're cuddling.". He was again confused by this, but didn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth about now. He was going to put an arm around her, but stopped because for once… he was thinking with his head instead of his hormones at the moment. He scooched a little closer to her side, than leaned in so he could talk to her.

He whispered, "Now, I REALLY don't mind doing this. Heck, I dreamed about this for years! But, I got to know… why now?". Miss Kohana was a bit surprised by Foley's admission that this was something he actually dreamed about doing with a girl, but she kept it in as she leaned in slightly to him.

She answered, "I remember seeing the creeps from earlier that were looking in on you. Now if I can just lean in a bit back… ah! I was right.". For the briefest of moment, she saw two figures emerge on the rooftop across from the Foley residence. Her hunch was correct; they did not leave the area completely, just hid out of sight until it felt it was good to come back out. She leaned slightly back from Tucker and stated that they were still there on the rooftop.

Tucker inquired, "I see. So… what is your plan exactly?". Macawi picked up her cell phone and made the call to 911, the emergency number. However, she did some thumb movement on her cell phone, not pushing the buttons but looking as if she was. Once she made the connection Amity Park Police Department, that is when her true plan kicked in.

She said, "Good evening officers. I'm with my boyfriend Tucker, and I believe we have two perverts spying in on us from across the street on the rooftop. I feel very uncomfortable, and I hope that you come right away! They might actually be sick in the head if they are spying on me and my beau!". Tucker's eyes widened upon hearing her statement, than he heard over the phone that the police would send two officers over to investigate. She gave them Foley's address, and told them to hurry before flipping her cell phone closed.

Tucker put the pieces together on what she just done and exclaimed softly, "So that's it! You wanted to make sure the two goons stay focused on us, while the police go and get them! That would put quite a kink in Vigoro's plans!". He smiled widely, very impressed by the Sioux's beauty's brains. She received the compliment with a blush and nod… and it was clear to them that she was not backing away from him at all, even after her plan was unveiled.

The techno-savvy teen looked a bit nervous and then asked the critical question, "Umm… Macawi… I… that is… well… do you still… want to… well…". She knew what he was going to ask, and knew it best to set it straight.

She put a finger to his lips, silencing him. She looked away shyly and replied, "Well… I don't have much experience with others, like I told you and your family earlier. But… well… you are cute and you do seem to live dangerously in doing what is right. I… Well, how about we go on a real date after this, and see where it goes from there?".

That one question sent the teen's heart soaring, and his spirit filled with a powerful sense of hope that he had finally done it! That he had finally gotten the attention of a beautiful girl! It showed on his face, and he was about to explode with happiness until he remembered that perhaps doing so would show him as too eager. And maybe even scare her off. He calmed himself down, but it was hard to do, and he replied, "I think that would be alright. And I hope our first date isn't ruined by goons like the ones outside.". She giggled and nodded, agreeing with him as they continued to sit down together. They would do so until the police arrived, which would be a bit of awhile.

Until then, they shared fun facts about one another… and a seed of hope and friendship was planted between the two young adults.

~At Master Manor~

While all of this was going on with the heroes and heroines, the ones that walked on the evil side were checking out what said patrons of Good were up to. Vlad was looking up incidents that had occurred over the past days since he left on his expedition in Europe. He was searching the Internet when he came across an article that was from the Alexandria, Louisiana that was taken on September 16th. He clicked on the article, opening it up and seeing the contents that were written in it. It read:

Dead Body Found- Justice Be Done

Yesterday afternoon, a commotion of sort took place near a manor that had been abandoned for years. And shortly after that, a call from a concerned citizen had local police come to the manor near Red River… where a body was dug up, and after lab analysis… showed it was the body of Castilla Angelica. Yes folks, a young lady that went missing a year ago was apparently buried near our own city all that time! Her family had been notified of finding her, and it was tears all around as they had finally been reunited with their daughter. The police still have no clue on what happened at the manor, nor do they have a name to go to the one who called them to inform them about Castilla. All I can say is that a family is reunited, however tragic it maybe, and hopefully justice will follow after it! The Alexandria Police Department lab experts are now going to work to see how exactly Castilla died, and finally bring the young woman to rest.

Vlad was impressed as he read this, and also reading more onward that a few days had passed until they found the culprits that were responsible for Castilla's death. A trial had been arranged, and it was prominent on the TV air waves for some time until the three former associates of Miss Angelica were found guilty of rape and 1st degree murder. They were sentenced to about 75 years in prison with no chance of parole. The halfa soon clicked the Internet off and stated, "My, my, my… you have been quite busy, young Daniel. You and your Divas… oh, I must find out exactly what happened there. But for now, that is for another time.".

He left his Study Area and went over to the living room, going to look out the window and seeing the city of Madison. He said to himself, "Daniel's power and abilities seem to be growing with each passing day. I must think of something to really distract the young one and his powered-up women while I plan another expedition to Africa.". As he paced around the room to think up of a plan to get Fenton/Phantom to be focused on his diversion, an idea soon came to him.

The mortal said to himself, "Ah, now I see a solution. I believe a little trip to the Ghost Zone is in order. And also some certain characters to meet… hehehehehe…". He transformed into his alter ego, Vlad Plasmius & started to go down below into his basement which had his very own Ghost Portal and laboratory. He punched in some codes on the computer, and the portal soon flashed to life as a green, swirling energy vortex appeared before him.

He said, "Now to find some fools who will do my bidding for me. And I believe that Skulker and a certain bike-riding numbskull will be perfect to distract young Daniel and his ladies, while I look to Africa for the next Elemental Key.". Soon, visions appeared in his mind as his imagination took hold.

The vile halfa visons consisted of this:

The mortal realm was covered in darkness, demonic and devil-like minions were running amok all over the land! Winged beasts and beings of evil filled the sky, those of the water variety took to the seas to pollute and contaminate… and those of land razed everything they came in contact with to the ground! Cities were reduced to rubble, people fleeing for their lives only to be consumed by the evil nightmares! And all of this was what laid before Vlad, as he was shown to be a supreme conqueror of the Earth! He was decked in a so-called royal outfit that showed off his physique, in which in his mind was like that of a muscled man with a golden crown on his head.

By his side was Maddie Fenton, dressed in an outfit that was even more risqué than the bikini one worn by Princess Leia from the 1983 Lucas Film Return from the Jedi! Maddie seemed to now fill the role of a trophy wife, being queen to Vlad when in reality she was no more than a doll now for his pleasure.

Down below the duo was the body of Jack Fenton, dead as a doornail with his corpse being devoured by the birds. And nearby, Jasmine Fenton was now a servant girl as she was tending to the home of the couple. And Danny… he was nowhere to be seen, only tatters of his clothing that he wore when in his Phantom form swirling about in the wind.
