A/N: I AM BACK. and i literally whipped this up this morning because i got hella emo for no reason and then i gave the emo-ness a reason to stick around. I'm quite proud of myself for this chapter tbh. Even tho I was emo for like 80% of this chapter. ENJOYYYY
No One's POV (Austin)
"NOOOO!" Was heard from a distance. Austin got up confused. Who on earth was screaming? As he walked up to his window, he saw no one outside. This only further strengthen his confusion. Normally, he would shrug it off and continue with his day. Because normally, he would see someone outside, today, no one was outside. Or at least from his perspective.
He went downstairs and looked outside the window again. Still no one. Weird. And just when he thought it was over, he heard another scream.
"NO! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME! I NEED YOU! YOU CAN'T DIE! YOU CAN'T..." And the rest was inaudible. But he recognized the voice.
Ally.
For a moment he was about to rush to her house and demand why she was screaming. And then he second guessed himself. He wasn't about to go to his ex-girlfriend's house. Hell no. He can't do that. She made it clear that day. She doesn't love him. Hell, he bets it means she doesn't need him either.
But against his better judgement, he went to her house anyways. He regretted it more than anything. When he knocked on the door, he regrets it even more. When he heard footsteps, he considered running. Ding Dong Ditch her if you will. But his feet stayed planted on her porch. He watched as the door slowly creaked open, telling he has one more chance to leave before she sees him.
She sees him.
Her eyes widen.
He lower his gaze. This was definitely a mistake. He should be turning away and getting away while he still can. He should.
But nope. His feet had him firmly planted on the worn out wood that is Ally's porch. Which made the current situation even more awkward than he wanted it to be.
Neither of them had said a word. Neither of them wanted to say a word. Or anything at all. It was already enough he showed up at her front door without an explanation.
After more than a moment of silence, she spoke up.
"Why are you here?" The question was straight forward. He didn't like it.
"I-I don't know. I heard screaming... And uh... Yeah." Nice going Moon.
Then, her face turned a bright pink. That's when he knew the screaming definitely came from her. But before he could say anything, her face lost its color and her eyes welded up with tears.
"Ally? Are you-" She hugged him before he could finish his sentence. And that's when he felt his shirt slowly getting damp. He worryingly hugged her back.
"Please don't die." She sobbed quietly. His face soften. She thought he was gonna die? But he's perfect-
Oh.
Oh.
OH.
"Ally... I'm not gonna die. I'm right here." He whispered soothingly.
"N-No y-you're not. You hate me, you're gonna leave me. You don't want me. I-I hurt you. I broke you. I-I-I-" She choked out.
He stood there for a moment, trying process everything she just said. Once he did, he froze. And everything she had told him the other day came crashing down on him. His own tears welded up and blurred his vision.
"I don't love you."
It rang in his head over and over again. Constantly reminding him that the girl he's holding right now couldn't actually care less if he did died.
He dropped his grip from her, letting his arms hang loose by his side as anger and sadness boiled up inside. Of course. Of fucking course. She couldn't, she really couldn't. She really just hates him. She told him she doesn't love him.
It's all an act.
He roughly pushed her off him and stormed off. The moment his back turned towards her, he let the hot tears flow down his face as he heard Ally calling for him and running. He ignored her.
"I don't love you."
He felt her grab his arm. He tried removing it but she managed to have an iron grip on his arm. This forced him to turn around and face her. Puffy eyes and all.
"Austin?" His name came out of her mouth quietly. He almost wanted to spat out hers but held his tongue.
He stared at her and felt his heart clench. This girl broke his heart to pieces and just staring at her is making break into even more pieces. He bit his lip as he tried not to screaming everything at her.
Once he felt her grip loosen, he slipped it out and walked away. He didn't hear any footsteps. He was fine with that.
But despite the fact he was a good distance away, he heard something he never thought he'd hear from Ally again.
"I'm so sorry Austin. I love you. Please forgive me." He heard it loud and clear. Yet it was just a mere whisper.
He let out a deep breath. No, he wasn't going to do this. He's not gonna turn around and forgive her.
So he walked up to his house and went inside.
Shutting the door, he slid down and sighed.
"I don't love you." Rang in one last time.
He didn't care anymore.
It was all over.
