Okay so hello there! I know it's been awhile since I posted anything (literally like two freakin years lol) but the reason for that is because I actually forgot my password to my account, whoops lol. But another reason for not posting is because school came up and I started to not feel confident in my writing because I'm so new to this and I haven't really found anything I'm that good at so yea that happened. But anyways I think I'm gonna try again and see how it goes, I hope you guys like and support me! :)

Chapter 4: Accident

*Lucy POV*

It was hot. Very hot. Too hot for comfort. I looked around to see what was causing this major temperature change and when I tried to get up it felt as if something was anchoring me to the bed. I turned to my other side and I wound up face to face with a sleeping Natsu. I inhaled sharply. I shouldn't really be surprised by this, I mean it happens all the time. But why does this time feel different? I was puzzled by the fact that I was a bit embarrassed that Natsu Dragneel was holding me close and it didn't seem like he was going to let go anytime soon. I looked closely at his face. It was so peaceful and calm, not a hint of anger on it, unlike last night. Something strange happened in Natsu's behavior last night, he seemed much more guarded than usual. Maybe it's because Cyprin showed up. I still need to figure out how he ties into my past. Today I was determined to get some answers. I slowly tried to maneuver my way out of Natsu's death grip. When I finally did get out, about 5 minutes later, I went to go check on Cyprin. When I walked into the living room I found him sleeping peacefully on the couch. I smiled and started to make breakfast. I wonder what I should make? Probably something that can feed a lot of people. Oh, I know! I'll make my famous waffles! My waffles were a treat among the people who ate my cooking. They were almost god-like. They were light and fluffy with a flaky buttery exterior. You didn't even need syrup they were that good. As I started up the batter someone came up from behind and grabbed my waist. I made and 'eep' sound but I guessed it was Natsu since he often did things like this.

"Natsu quit spooking me like that!"

When I turned around and found myself face to face with a grinning Cyprin.

*Normal POV*

"Good morning my Lucy!" Cyprin exclaimed. Lucy was as red as a lobster after she'd whipped around and almost smashed her face right into Cyprin's.

"Umm yeah good morning. Could you please let me go?" Lucy croaked. Cyprin looked down at her and sighed. He held his grip firm on the base of her hips. Reluctantly he let go of her.

"What happened to you. You used to love it when I hugged you, you would always tell me to hug you tightly and never let go. I miss those days."

Lucy looked at him with sad eyes and said, "I'm sorry but the Lucy you know is gone. She's all grown up and I don't even remember the Lucy you're talking about. I want to remember, I really do, but my younger days are all just a blur. I'm sorry."

Lucy started weeping and Cyprin held her tight and started to stroke her hair.

"Shh, it's alright. I'm sorry for trying to force my image of the old you onto the new you. It's just hard because I want you to remember so badly about the fun we had, and the promise we made."

Lucy flinched as soon as she heard the word promise. She looked up at him with red, puffy eyes.

"We made a promise?"

Cyprin looked at her and it was obvious that he felt deeply hurt.

"Yes, we did. But it's obvious that you would not remember it."

He wiped away the tears from her eyes and brushed his finger over her cheeks a few times. He almost went to brush over her lips but there was a sudden bang.

*Natsu's POV*

I felt someone squirming underneath me and then I recalled the events from the previous evening. That Cyprin bastard trying to be all flashy and cool. Today I'll show him but for now, I'm just gonna stay here and enjoy my time sleeping with Lucy. The squirming finally stopped and that's when I realized that Lucy had finally broken free of my grip. I didn't think much of it because I thought that the bastard would still be asleep, honestly, no one would be awake at this hour. I tossed around for a bit taking in Lucy's scent that covered her bed. Her scent was my favorite one. It smelled like warm vanilla mixed with parchment paper, it drove me wild. Eventually, I smelled the delicious smell of Lucy's famous waffles and my stomach reminded me of how hungry I was. Just as I was about to get up I heard weeping. That bastard! I bet he did something to hurt Lucy, I'll kill him! I immediately dashed from the bed and zoomed toward the kitchen. I banged the door open to see what that bastard Cyprin had done to Lucy. I didn't like what I saw. Cyprin was cupping Lucy's weeping face with his hands. When he saw me he immediately smirked and then went in to kiss Lucy. Furious with rage I darted towards him and ripped Lucy away.

"What the hell do you think you're doing you bastard! Why is Lucy crying!? Why did you kiss her!? She doesn't even know you!"

I was so angry I there was heat radiating off my body. If someone touched me it would probably have burned their hand off.

"I haven't done anything. I was merely consoling my friend. Besides, it looks like you're the one who hurt her."

Confused I looked down and saw that I was gripping on Lucy's upper arm. There was steam coming from it and you could smell the scent of burning flesh. Instinctively I had done whatever it took to get Lucy away from Cyprin, but in the en, I only hurt her. I immediately let go of her arm. She hadn't said anything because she was still in shock at the kiss she had received from Cyprin.

"Lucy? Hey Luce? Are you okay? Oh god I never meant for this to happen I swear. Fuck! I screwed up so bad."

It wasn't until a few moments later that Lucy got a hold of herself and started wincing in pain. Tears started to flow down her cheeks and it made me flinch. I hated making her cry, it made my heart ache because I had hurt my best friend.

"Och what the hell happened to me? Oh god it hurts so bad! It feels like my arm was just roasted to a crisp it hurts so bad."

"Oh god Luce I'm so sorry. I never meant for this to happen. Fuck!"

I started to reach out my hand to hers but I was cut short by Cyprin.

"I think you've done quite enough damage for one day. Why don't you let someone who won't completely burn her body to a crisp help her."

He gave me the most vicious glare I had ever seen. It hurt me so much not to be able to help her, to touch her. After what I did I didn't deserve to touch her. I dropped my head to the ground.

"Yea okay. Just make sure she get's to Wendy's safely. I'm so sorry Lucy."

And with that I jumped out of the window with tears streaming down my face.
