"So why are we searching for this Kukaku again instead of finding a way to enter Seireitei" ask Ichigo as he follow their feline guide walking through the nearby forest that they run to after the surprising event that transpire earlier with the Shinigami captain.

Although to be fair it was entirely Yoruichi idea to run after what happen and him being grabed by Chad before he could even push forward for the opening that he had created, hell they even accidently left Jidanbo behind without even healing his severed arm.

"I mean can't we just climb the wall or something, on second thought no the wall is to smooth to climb" he continued

"Oh, maybe you can use your sword to cut a hole for us to enter Kurosaki-kun" said Orihime as she begin to imagine a chibified Ichigo laughing loudly as he use his sword to cut the wall surrounding Seireitei thus allowing the other chibified version of themselves to enter Seireitei

"Ouch" she yelps as the cat on her shoulder take a swipe with its claw breaking Orihime of her dream

"I take it is not possible to breach the wall Yoruichi-san" said Ishida

"Yes you are right. The wall surrounding Seireitei is made from a special stone that completely repel all Reiryoku and it is know that this mineral also produce a unique wave of spiritual energy that envelope the Seireitei in a perfect spherical barrier call the Shakonmaku" the cat begin telling the teens of the barrier that protect Seireitei

"Not to mention that because of the Sekkiseki stone properties any reishi that tries to enter through the barrier will be vaporised instantly" the cat said as it jump from Orihime shoulder to walk in front of the teens

"And since we are currently a being made of reishi it will be and instant death if we try to enter the barrier" said Chad as he voiced the thought of all the teens

"Yes as such we need to find a way to enter Seireitei by another way and yes Kukaku may have the answer of how to enter without dying"

The group continued to search for Kukaku in silent as they process the information given to them by the cat and all of them was relieved that they did not try to breach the barrier in the first place and actually followed the cat when it shouted for them to run and hide in the nearby forest.

(Seireitei, 4th division barrack)

"This is all of the paperwork needed to be done by tomorrow Captain" said a tall, young looking woman with gray eyes and short messy silver hair with strands on the right side of her face that are shoulder-length and styled as two thin braids. She wears a thin dangling red earring on each ear and a standard Shinigami uniform with a lieutenant badge on her left arm.

"Ah thank you Isane, you may put it on the desk and I will get to it after I have finished with this monthly report" said the siting captain. She has the appearance of a slender and very youthful woman with blue eyes and black hair. She wears the standard Shinigami captain uniform apart from using an obi instead of the normal sash. Her hair is long and is worn as a large braid down the front of her body.

"Ah alright captain Unohana I will leave you to your work then" the now named Isane said as she put the stack of paper down before bowing her head.

The now named captain Unohana could only smile as she watches her lieutenant excused herself before continuing her work.

But she was interrupted again from her work when she her lieutenant scream of fright. Immediately the female captain move as fast as she can toward her lieutenant right after she reach her zanpakuto and readied herself to confront whatever it was that made her lieutenant scream in genuine fright and shock.

Reaching the entrance of her office she stop when she see her lieutenant stand there frozen and there stood directly in front of her lieutenant she could see is one of the captain of the Gotei 13 judging by the with colour of the uniform that she could barely see fro her position.

See that it was only her fellow captain she slowed down her running and began to gently walk toward them

"Isane why do you scream so loudly, I was almost certain that you was attacked by…" whatever sentence she was about to speak stopped when she stand right next to her lieutenant and see the condition of the captain standing in front of her office.

To say she was shock was like saying water is wet. For it was very obvious for all to see that she was in absolute shock and the reason for her shock is there barely standing on his on two legs was the captain of the captain of the 3rd division himself.

"Hey… can ya patch me up please…" was all he manage to say before he collapse down

Fortunately thanks to her hundreds year of experience Unohana was able to take charge of the situation and immediately set to work

"Isane I need you to call the emergency response team and prepare the surgery room quickly" she bark out her order as she performed a kido spell that create a platform made out of reishi to appear beneath the fallen captain to carry him with her to be treated

"At once captain" Isane shout out as she set to go and do what her captain asks of her.

At the end of it all, with the help of her subordinates she was able to save the 3rd division captain after 2 hours surgery, which actually surprised all of the healers involve since from the looks of it the 3rd division captain only receive a deep but simple slash wound that should need at maximum a 30 minute use of a healing kido spell to treat and a treatment to recover the lost blood.

But it all turn quite bad when the healer tried to use a healing kido on the wound. It almost terrified them when instead of healing captain Ichimaru when they use the kido it actually make the wound become much worse, as if it was a curse the wound begin to deepen when it come into contact with their kido and it seems to actually absorb the spiritual energy from the kido to empower itself and inflicted a more damage to the captain.

As such they were forced to actually use old fashion way of treating the now much deeper and dangerous injury without any help from kido since whatever it was in the wound have the ability to absorb the Reiryoku use to power the healing kido to power itself.

Thankfully the operation to save the captain was successful in the end and they even manages to take a sample of a foreign Reiryoku that seems to infested the wound and preventing the wound from being healed using Reiryoku.

"What is it captain" ask Isane as she look at the cube that trapped the omnious looking blue orb of pure Reiryoku extracted from the injury of captain Ichimaru whom still have yet to regain consciousness.

"I don't know but who ever this Reiryoku belong to is quite dangerous to be able to worsen an injury when they try to treat it. What a fearsome attack it must have been" said Unohana with a frown on her face as she look at the cube in her hand.

"ACHOOO!" the orange haired teen sneazed violently stopping the group on their track

"Oh no, you are not having a cold are you Kurosaki-kun" said Orihime as she walk over to said teen in concern

"What no! someone must be talking about me somewhere" he denied gathering a look of absolute disbelieve from Ishida, the usual blank look of Chad and somehow a look of concern on the black cat face which actually weird him out since it was a cat that give him that look and he know a cat, talking or no talking cannot shows any facial expression.

"And who would be talking about you Kurosaki" the Quincy of the group said

"Yeah well maybe…" his retort toward the Quincy was left unsaid when he look directly in front of him. "What the hell is that?"

'That' being the cloud of dust that can be seen from their current location and from the looks of things the cloud of dust seems to be moving toward them at a very fast pace without any hint of slowing down

"That can't be good" said the cat
