Mira glanced over at Marcus as he crouched on the edge of the ledge. He had that serious grumpy look on his face. The pre-mission face. Mira wanted to smile but she knew she shouldn't. For one thing it was not the correct atmosphere, and for another thing Mira's side was throbbing.

"Ready?" Thomas whispered next to her.

"As ready as we'll ever be." Mira nodded and glanced at Thomas. She was beginning to be annoyed by his hovering. But at the same time she kind of appreciated it. Maybe that was what made her more annoyed than anything.

"Marcus shouldn't we wait a little longer?" Kristy whispered.

"We don't have time." Marcus gripped his digivice. "Dad ready to take the lead?"

Spencer nodded, though Mira glanced at BanchoLeomon. He was the one she knew. He was the one she trusted to lead them. Spencer was similar to Marcus so she liked him, but he wasn't someone she knew as well and was willing to follow.

"Wait." Yoshi held up a hand. "Is he looking at us?"

Mira narrowed her eyes down on Beelzemon. It did look like he was looking towards them. She tended, but relaxed as he looked away as a smaller digimon scurried up to him from the same direction the group was.

"No we're safe." Mra whispered.

"Can anyone hear what they are talking about?" Agumon asked.

"No we're all to far." Thomas shook his head. "Okay Spencer, what's the plan now?"

"Same plan as before." Spencer nodded. "Marcus remember the plan and don't just charge in."

"Yeah Yeah." Marcus waved his hand. "Mira be careful okay." Marcus grinned.

"Same to you." She nodded and watched as Marcus and Agumon headed to their position. "Thomas, Yoshi you two are up."

"Right." Thomas stood up and pulled out his digivice. "Gaomon."

"Yeah." Gaomon stood up and Thomas took out his digivice.

Mira took a deep breath and looked at Gabumon. "Okay, let's go too." The plan was simple, Thomas and Yoshi would lead the battle and after a few minutes Mira and Kristy would charge in. Following them Keenan and Spencer would and finally Marcus would sneak up and attack at the end. Mira gripped her digivice as she watched MirageGaogamon and Rosemon charge Beelzemon. He doesn't look surprised… Did he know we were coming? But how… No he probably expected it because of what we did to the rest of his team.

"Mira… you ready?" Kristy asked tapping Mira on the shoulder. "It's our turn."

"Right." Mira nodded. "Gabumon…"

"Right." Gabumon nodded. "Gabumon digivolve to…. Weregarurumon!" Her partner nodded. "Mira you stay here this time… I'll take care of this on my own."

"But-."

"Aquilamon." Weregarurumon nodded.

"Right." The large bird digimon nodded and the two charged down.

"You can do it Aquilamon!" Kristy called after him.

Mira smiled. "This is going to be the end, isn't it."

"Yeah!" Kristy smiled.

"Our turn Bancholeomon." Spencer nodded and the two charged down.

MIra watched as everyone fought but frowned. Why are they having such a hard time? There are multiple digimon fighting… but Beelzemon is still winning."

"What are you talking about?" Kristy asked. "It looks like we're doing fine."

"No… Beelzemon is holding his own." Mira frowned. "How is he so strong…" She squeezed her hand into a fist. "He's even stronger than the other generals… I don't understand how…. He may be a mega but still…."

"I'm sure Marcus can beat him!" Kristy pumped her fist. "He's the strongest."

"I'm not disagreeing but still…" MIra shook her head. I don't understand…. I know that mega digimon are strong, but I've always seen that partner digimon are stronger than digimon of the same level…. So why?

"MY TURN!" Marcus yelled and charged in, slamming his fist into Beelzemon's face. His data sprung up around his fist and he slammed it down on his digivice.

"And here we go!" Kristy yelled.

"That seemed to do it." Mira smiled as ShineGreymon slammed into Beelzemon following Marcus. The two joined in the fight and slowly Beelzemon began to move backwards.

"See I told you!" Kristy grinned. "That's my brother!"

"Yes." Mira stood up, finally feeling confident enough to stand up in full view. "We'll be good now. There's no way Beelzemon can beat us all at this rate."

"Mira is it safe to go down there now?" Sarah asked poking her head out from behind a large rock. "Or should we stay up here?"

"Let's stay up here for now." Mira nodded. "It's best if we stay out of the way."

"OKay." Sarah nodded.
"But we won't be up here long." Mira relaxed. Beelzemon was backed up against a wall now. He looked like he was about to be beat.

Mira was laughing when suddenly a bright white light slammed into the whole group.

"MARCUS! SPENCER!" Sarah yelled.

"WEREGARURUMON!" Mira ignored all caution and started to slid down the wall. She spotted Tsunomon laying on the ground, covered in dust. "TSUNOMON!" Mira scooped up her partner. "Tsunomon?" Mira looked around and gasped. Everyone was laying flat on the ground, and all the digimon had dedigivolved down to their rookie forms. Except Biyomon who had dedigivolved to his intraining form as well.

And Beelzemon just stood there in the middle of the clearing. He started to laugh. "Oh I see you're here now…"

Mira turned and froze. A human man came walking through the cloud of dust. "Who…"

"Beelzemon were you really having that much trouble?" The man asked. He had dark black hair that was neat and smoothed back and appeared to be in his early 40s. He wore dark black pants and a simple grey cotton shirt with a white lab coat loosely blowing in the air. "The former members of DATS can't be that strong."

"Sorry Zurui but I was pretending… I was just stalling for your arrival."

Mira shivered. Who is this guy?
