There was no hesitation in her when she grabbed him by the collar of his shirt pulling him flash again her. She brought his lips down on he. Her hands slid under his shirt, trailing off on his well-formed body, at the same time her tongue fought for dominance, but Klaus wasn't one to give without taking. She needed to earn the upper hand.

She tried to flip them over. He let her, curious about what she'd do. Straddling him as she ripped his shirt off of him. She pulled from his mouth momentarily, taking her shirt off and throwing it across the room. He sat up, trailing a hand on her trying to kiss her again but she pushed him down. Again, let her. Groaning when her lips found his neck, she started leaving feather kissed all the way down her torso.

She trailed her tongue on the space between his abs, chuckling against his skin when he hissed. He grabbed her by the hair to drag her face up ravishing her lips again.

"You are a fucking tease, you know that?" he groaned breathing against her lips.

She chuckled.

"But you love it, don't you?" she teased again in a fake innocent tone.

A wild frenzy took over the hybrid. She was again, teasing him, and he was in a desperate need to get her under him, to possess, to consume her, until the thirst for her was fully quenched. He flipped them over again, taking control, dismissing any and every attempt of the baby vampire that writhed underneath him, fighting to regain her ground.

"Don't stop fighting me," he commanded and she obliged.

"I wasn't planning on it," her breathy whisper tipped him to the edge, this girl knew what she was doing.

His hand slid under her skirt, palming her butt.

"Last warning love," he whispered. "do you want this?"

The shivering skin underneath his touch was all the consent he needed. But he wanted her to say it.

Instead of answering she flipped them over again. She bent down kissing him with lust that could set oceans on fire. She trailed down again kissing and licking with an unforgivable pace that made even the original surrender. Klaus couldn't remember when was the last time he desired a woman the way he wanted her. It must've been forever ago.

He felt her fingertips touching the belt and trying to unbuckle it and his eyes flew open. It was now or never.

"Stop," his voice clearly be heard in the dead of the nights.

She did immediately, the all too familiar haze of compulsion fading away as she realized what was going on. With a gasp, she whooshed out of the bed to the other side of the room. Klaus remained to his spot, taunting her for her reluctant desires as the battle with herself mirrored in her eyes. She wanted him and she hated it.

When she made the decision of how to act, Caroline was pissed. The rage in her eyes almost making him flinch. She would give him a piece of her mind if it was the last thing she did.

"You-" she started saying but soon realized she was out of words. Oh she had quite a lot to say, she just couldn't find the strength to finish her insult. Words getting lost in her throat before she managed to voice them.

Klaus stared at her dumbfounded expression with mocking sadness.

"Yes, love?" He mocked tilting his head to the side playfully. "Is there something you want to say?"

"Oh, there are plenty of things I want to say!" She scoffed.

In a flash, she gathered all her clothes putting them back on faster than he could say 'Stop!'.

"But you can't, can you?" he said suddenly serious. He rose from his position slowly prowling towards her now fully clothed form. "The compulsion is preventing you from doing so."

He sighed sadly, raising two fingers to caress her face.

"Hm that's too bad, I'll miss your smart mouth!"

She could only glare at him pursing her lips to a thin line, unable to do anything other than give him death glares.

He raised and eyebrow and she sighed again.

"You can always take back what you did," she said almost pleadingly. Her eyes searching for any kind of sympathy in his.

He showed no sign of backing down. She could expect a better reaction form a brick wall.

"Why?" She said through greeted teeth. "Why are we back to the beginning and why did you do that?"

She gestured towards the bed not that he needed any further explanations on what she meant. She blinked a couple of times, before looking away and pursing her lips. A habit Klaus had learned allowed her to stop herself from crying and appear stronger.

He caressed her chin with two fingers before gently grabbing her face to make her look at him.

"Because you keep denying what you want, and you need to get used to the idea that you belong at my side," he explained. "You need to understand that I'm not going to let you go anywhere. Ever."

She bit her lower lip fighting against his compulsion. She wanted to deny it, he could see that in the fire in her big blue eyes and heated breathing. She wanted to spit insults at him, maybe even physically fight him, she just couldn't not while she was under his influence.

He sighed sadly.

He didn't like this outcome.

"You want to deny it, I can see it in your eyes," he admitted. "But remember what I said, Caroline."

She looked confused.

"Remember, what did I tell you to do before? what did I say exactly you should do?"

Caroline still looked puzzled but Klaus was not having it.

"Say it," he pushed, taking a step closer. "Say what I told you to do, word for word before you kissed me!"

Her eyes widened realizing what he really wanted.

"I..." she tried to fight him, the compulsion, her own dark desires. She failed. "You said: show me exactly how much you want me!"

She bit her lips again, once more stopped from voicing her thoughts.

Klaus frowned, why was this bothering him? He should be glad to be rid of her irritating opinions. So why wasn't he?

"And you did that, nothing more, nothing less," he clarified. "You did not show me anything else just your desire for me, so why are you fighting with me on this?!"

She remained silent.

Her lack of response was starting to get on his nerve, this annoying quiet room way too boring without her spicy remarks. that was why, and he knew it. He would refuse it all he wanted, but somewhere along the way, he had gotten addicted to her spicy remarks and fiery glares. She was turning into an addiction and wouldn't even do anything to stop it.

"Tell me what you're thinking, Caroline," he commanded angrily. "You can tell me what you think at any given time unless I tell you not to!"

And just like that, she exploded.

"You have no right to compel me into doing anything!" she yelled taking a threatening step forward even though they both knew she couldn't do anything physical against him. "You forced me into this, even if I have some hidden desire for you or a hint of lust, which I doubt, I should be able to act on it on my own. You have no right to force me. Having an urge doesn't mean you have to act on it. I don't sleep with everyone I have a spark with. Hell, I even wanted to sleep with that hot Italian guy from the pub we went last night. I wanted to do a lot more than just dance with him, but I wouldn't act on it. I've been thought that faze and I'm done with mindless hookups!"

She stopped, seeing his reaction. His jaw was clenched, his hands twisted into fists as a touch of yellow shade passed through his eyes for a second, before it went away. He took a slow step, cold eyes fixed on her, his previous mirth long forgotten as was his devilish smirk.

Caroline fought the urge to back away.

"I don't like you thinking like that about other men," he growled through still clenched teeth.

Caroline wanted to say something sultry but his eyes stopped her.

One more step and he was in front of her. He grabbed her by the arms and shook her harshly, her curls bouncing around her confused face.

"You hear me?" he growled. "You can only think about me touching you. You can only want me to be inside you, Caroline! You're mine!"

She blinked twice, surprised by his bluntness.

"I..." she started to protest but he didn't let her.

He turned her around and made her face the mirror, burying his face into her curls and inhaling her rich scent he pressed her body on his more tightly. He ripped the front of her shirt with two fingers. She gasped, unable to fight him on anything. If it wasn't the compulsion, it would've been fear freezing her on spot.

"Don't," she pleaded with her eyes looking into his through the mirror.

He trailed his hands down to the spot before her right ribs were the Cresent-like wound rested. He pressed two fingers on the healed wound. Making her wince form the touch treatment.

"You know what this means, Caroline?" he breathed in her ear and she whined. "No, you don't. So let me educate you; It means that you belong to me, that you're mine. You have my mark on your skin. Deny it all you want but as long as this is imprinted on your skin, you will always belong to me."

"Then I'll burn it away," she spits through her teeth, glaring at him through the mirror. "I'll carve it out with a knife if I have to!"

He grabbed her by the neck, pushing her back to his chest as his eyes darkened.

"Under no circumstances will you ever harm yourself!" he commanded in a low husky tone.

She greeted her teeth, still glaring daggers at him.

"Ugh, I want to hit you so bad," she growled. "But then again, you aren't even worth the energy it would take me to do that!"

Abruptly, he turned her around slamming her to the nearest wall.

"It seems like you didn't learn your lesson. So let's make this more entertaining for me and more degrading for you."

His harsh breathing tingling her face didn't help relax her tensed nerves at all. Her lips trembled as his cold, emotionless eyes bore into her innocent blues.

"Each time an insult directed to me leaves this pretty mouth of yours," he pushed his thumb painfully against her lower lip to emphasize his point. "you will kiss me with every bit of pent up lust you have for me! And I know you have quite a lot if the demonstration five minutes ago is any indication!"

He winked at her.

"Screw you!" she yelled to his face at the top of her lungs, pushing him away, eyes watering.

Klaus smirked and she realized her mistake.

She launched at him sliding his tongue inside his mouth aggressively, kissing him as if the world was about to end and he was the last man standing.

He chuckled when their lips parted.

"Now, this was something!" he mused.

"You're a sick bastard, you know that?!" she growled through greeted teeth, not able to restrain herself and her big mouth. She cursed under her breath hating this.

Klaus raised an amused eyebrow and she tried desperately to fight the compulsion off.

She tried but failed.

The compulsion forced her to kiss him again. Not to say that she hated the kiss itself, but she hated the degrading manner in which it happened. Being involved with Klaus in this way always felt wrong to her, even when it felt right. But this was different. This was downright abusive, and it brought back the side of Klaus she had met in Alaric's apartment. A side she hoped she'd never see again.

"I could get used to this," he growled with a devilish smirk.

She whooshed on the other side of the room, her back to him, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, tears streaming down her eyes.

"Stop this!" she growled, trying to hide her tears away.

She heard him cross the room to reach her but made no effort to turn around and face him. She was too pissed off to face him.

He grabbed her gently by the arm and turned her around wrapping his hands around her face, he chased her tears away with his thumbs. A sadness she had never really seen taking over in his eyes.

"I'm sorry it has to be like this, Caroline," he whispered using her real name instead of pet names once more. "But you left me with no other choice!"

He kissed her forehead, savoring the moment for a few seconds longer than normal. He then locked eyes with her, as if trying to tell her something by simply looking at her. She tried to decipher his look but as she did, she felt a tag on her mental barriers. He was trying to impose a dream on her. With every bit of might she had, she resisted him. He tried again, but thanks to her experience with Damon, they were too strong to tear down that easily.

He eventually sighed and gave up, which surprised her, since he could easily compel her to let her guard down.

"I want you to stay inside the room," he said staring down into her baby blues again. "Don't go outside this room and don't step out of line again. You piss me off one more time, you face my wrath, got it?"

Caroline nodded, her lips quivering as she fought the urge to cry.

"Good girl!" he smiled viciously and she wanted nothing more than to spit at his face.

"Christopher?!" he called surprising her.

After the sound of a whoosh, the door opened and a well-dressed man with green eyes and black hair stepped into the room.

"Yes sir?" he asked in a heavy Russian accent.

"You bring her whatever she wants," he said raising a warning finger. "You do whatever she commands you to do, except if it goes against my commands, which it won't since we had an understanding!" he threw her a stare and she glared back.

Christopher chuckled obviously having heard everything that had transpired between the two. Caroline blushed thinking of others witnessing her humiliation.

Wait, how many others were in the house? And what was this house? Where was she?

"You protect her with your life, got it?" he warned with a raised finger. "Anything happens to her you die. Anyone touches her, I'll kill you first and then whoever it is that dares to look at her without my permission. You otherwise flirt with her or touch her and your death will be so spectacular, the devil would weep!"

Caroline rolled her eyes while the man nodded in agreement.

"I have urgent business to take care of at the moment," he said to Caroline, "When I come back, you better have an explanation about where the hell it is that you got this."

He showed her her phone, smiling at her reaction.

"Something tells me you're going to tell me the whole truth, right love?" he said playfully before walking out of the room with amus all but palpable in his walk.

Arrogant brat!

Caroline fought with every bit of self-control she possessed against the urge to curse at him.

But she was in deep shit already.

When Klaus returned, he would demand to know everything, and when the compulsion forced her to tell him everything she knew, he would no doubt take his wrath out on her. He had trusted her, opened up to her, and she had betrayed him. And if she had learned one thing about Klaus by now, it was that he had no mercy for traitors.

"Shit!" she cursed sitting down on the bed and resting her elbows on her knees before burying her face in her hands. "I'm screwed!"

Stefan drained the last drop of whiskey in his glass.

He was trying to wrap his head around what was going on. That witch had told him that Caroline was a She Wolf, and he had no idea what it all meant. There was one thing that was certain; getting her away from Klaus kept getting more difficult.

He sighted throwing a twenty dollar bill on the counter and heading towards the exit, the frown lines on his forehead deepening as he sunk into deep thoughts that tormented him.

That witch had told him that Caroline was important in this game of power surrounding Klaus, but he had no idea how sweet, at times shallow Caroline could have to do with the oldest and darkest creature on the planet. The witch refused to say anything else advising him to get in touch and ask the permission of the king before doing anything.

He had a feeling that wouldn't fly well with Klaus's ego.

As he neared his car, parked on the other side of the road where the bar was, his phone started ringing.

"Hello?" He asked perplexed as the number was unknown.

"You know," said a playful catlike female voice he knew all too well. "scowling was never your most attractive look!"

Stefan narrowed his eyes, looking around for any sign of where the woman would actually be, but he saw none. She was always good at her games.

"Where are you?" He asked in an almost hostile tone.

Katherine stepped out from the building in front of him, phone at hand, leaning against the wall and mocking him with her stare.

"Closer than you think, as always," she said sweetly before hanging up and gesturing for him to approach as she couldn't be seen there.

"What the hell are you doing in New Orleans?!" He scolded when he neared her. "Don't you know that Klaus?-"

"I'm not staying," she cut him off raising one hand. "I simply wanted to talk to you."

Stefan raise an eyebrow.

"It very important that we keep Caroline alive for as long as possible!" She said determinant on her words.

Stefan looked confused.

"And since when are you Caroline's guardian angel?" He demanded to know crossing his arms over his chest and staring her down.

"Since She is the potential key to Klaus's demise!" Katherine offered smugly. "Keeping a She Wolf on a leash has its rules and Klaus has to abide by them sooner rather than later!"

Stefan Narrowed his eyes at her.

"What do you know about that?" He questioned her suspiciously.

"A loophole that can potentially kill the monster chasing me down for the better part of five hundred years?" She looked him down as if he was stupid. "Don't you think I'd be all over that?"

"Any chance of saving your skin, as usual!" He shook his head disapprovingly.

She smirked. "Any chance!"

"You haven't changed," Stefan scolded.

"Why should I?" She shrugged. "I'm what's going to keep me alive."

"Just stay away from Caroline," Stefan warned. "You hurt her, you'll have to deal with me!"

Katherine actually laughed.

"Actually, I hurt her I'd have to deal with Klaus before you get to me," She chirped in. "But you're not listening to me, Stefan. Caroline's well being is the only thing I care about. Because that little Barbie is the only one that can bring Klaus to his knees!"

Stefan looked confused.

"How?" He demanded to know.

Katherine retracted back. A habit Stefan had picked up over the years she was doing when she was hiding something.

"A She Wolf can be the greatest strength or the biggest weakness to an Alpha." She trailed off. "Caroline can hold her own against Klaus and that means we wave a chance. But we need to keep her safe and protected form his temper. You know how Klaus can lose it sometimes!"

"I don't think he can kill her," Stefan admitted in a hopeful whisper. "Not anymore!"

"Oh he can!" Katherine clarifies. "And he might be tempted to do it. A wolf can't resist its mate. It has to either own her or kill her. Klaus is going to do one or the other. We just need to make sure he doesn't pick option number two!"

Stefan has a million questions but Katherine raised a hand when he was about ask the first that came to mind.

"We don't have time," She said. "Tell Caroline that it's the blood."

Stefan looked puzzled.

"Just tell her she needs to make him drink more of her blood and she needs to resist his!" Katherine insisted. "The more she consumes, the more addicted he gets to him!"

"Wait, What!?"

Katherine's phone vibrated in her back pocket.

"I need to leave," she insisted. "Keeep Caroline safe and tell her what I said!"

Before Stefan could utter a word, she was gone and he was left with million more questions that before.
