Hiruzen Sarutobi, the current God of Shinobi, and the Sandaime Hokage of the Leaf couldn't help but puff on his pipe as he looked out over his village. While he was supposed to be working on the seemingly endless paperwork that was piled on his desk he couldn't help but let his mind wander back to what he just saw.

Being over 60 years in age was a rarity for shinobi, while this was both a curse as his body was starting to slow down and make a career as a ninja harde it was also a blessing allowing him to witness legends grow up and leave their mark on the world. While Minato Namikaze, Yondaime Hokage, was the most recent person to leave a mark in history he could still remember other, more prominent, people that left their own mark.

Such an example would be none other than his former Sensei Tobirama Senju and his rather famous brother Hashirama who founded this village, and he definitely shouldn't forget about the rather infamous founder Madara Uchiha. Call it the musings of an old man but he could still remember many of the original clan heads that helped to settle this very village, and the rather startling resemblances that the current generation had to them.

Oh sure there were many differences between the two generations, which could be contributed to change the world has gone through in the past century or so, but as the saying goes, the more things change the more they stay the same. Now though, with his eyes opened thanks to the newest piece of the puzzle, he couldn't help but think of how lucky he was to witness what could possibly be the rise of legends as they went about changing the world once more.

Puffing a little more on his pipe he smirked ever so much at the thought of what was to come before turning back to his desk with renewed vigor. Only to have it instantly wiped out at the sight of his mountains of paperwork having somehow tripled in the last 20 seconds when he wasn't looking.

Many would probably remain oblivious to the changes that were happening around them, but for one as old as themselves the change was obvious. It started slow with what appeared to be something as a whisper on the wind of something new, something strange, something otherworldly.

When the time came that more obvious changes were finally visible many would dismiss the thing as a trick of the mind. For them the change that stood out the most was the appearance of someone who gave off a feeling of peace like their father did from many years ago before his untimely passing.

By the time that the others would finally take notice of the changes they would be unable to place who was behind them. As for themselves, they noticed that despite the impressive strength that this person gave off there was a fragility to their person that required others to help them.

When others would finally start to notice the ones responsible for the changes many would try to stop them out of fear. At the same time those who noticed it before would witness the resolve of this stranger who reminded them so painfully of their father as they fought an impossible battle against that which should have been.

By the time that others would realize that another war was on the horizon unlike any they have witnessed, they would be powerless to stop it. As for themselves, they could only stand back helplessly and watch in awe as this outsider fought alongside others in the battle that stretched between worlds.

When others would finally realize that the changes were impossible to stop they would finally notice the resemblance of the three brothers had to another trio. For them the realization would be that there w-"

crai22: Oh... not looking forwards to that one truth be told... pretty sure that it might end up a crossover at some point with sprinklings of various other things added in to make it more interesting.
