A Message from E1craZ4life

Hey, guys. E1craZ4life here. I just thought I'd leave this little note here for those of you who made it this far. So you know, the next part of the mortar story will be its own story, titled "Aperture Science Afterlife: Part II".

I know it took a while to get the last bit published, and thank you to those of you who were patient enough to wait for it. Just so you all know, I'll be working on a couple of other projects for the time being, but I will begin Part II of the saga (detailing Portal 2 and its aftermath) once those projects are at a secure benchmark.

All three brick stories told by Chell, GLaDOS, and Wheatley will continue to remain whole even after the division in the mortar story. I'm only breaking the mortar story for the sake of preventing over-inflated view counts.

Once Part II gets underway, each new chapter will be published after a review has been posted to the most recent chapter. (And I mean proper review, not just a message of "Here's a review; next chapter, please!".)

Seeing how much of a toll the effort of writing three and a half stories simultaneously has taken on me, I thought I'd try something a little different. I'm going to write each brick story first, and then supply review responses through the mortar story after all three brick stories reach the same benchmarks. Reviews will be used to sculpt the dialogue of the passengers in the mortar story, and my responses to those reviews will be expressed by whichever character was targeted by the review.

Something else I will say: it's not too late to have reviews answered about the ground covered so far; additional dialogue can be added to the mortar story as needed to account for any reviews to the writing published thus far. So, ask away at your leisure.

So, once again: this is only the end of Part I; there will be a period of time during which my focus will be on other projects before Part II begins, at which point the brick stories will be published ahead of the mortar story, which will be shaped to respond to reviews posted to each story. And new chapters will be posted after a review to the most recent additions that is worthy of appearing as dialogue in the mortar story.

Until then, folks, thank you for everything, and I'll see ya when I see ya.
