5 YEARS LATER...

Brittany cleared her throat for the third time in under two minutes before frowning and walking to her Keurig in the corner of her office, she quickly popped in a green tea K Cup and sat on the couch in her office, her iPad still firmly in her hand while she reviewed a document before coughing slightly and clearing her throat again. "Fuck, I can not be sick right now. I have a huge presentation in a few days." She groaned, staring at her mug as the brown liquid quickly filled it up. Tossing her iPad on the couch, she opened the fresh honey she bought that morning from a local vendor up the street at the farmer's market and spooned some in, taking a sip right away and sighing in relief as the tea coated her throat. She picked up her iPad again, deciding to stay on the couch for a while and began to mark some corrections on the document when there was a knock on her office door. "Come in." She called out casually, expecting it to be her assistant.

"Hey babe, ready to go?" Santana smiled, walking in a pair of red wide leg dress pants, a white sheer sleeveless blouse, her hair in a high bun on her head, and black and white peep toe pumps on, she leaned down and softly kissed Brittany on the cheek to greet her.

"Go?" Brittany frowned. "Oh, we were supposed to go to lunch. Sorry, I completely forgot." She replied, standing up quickly, and shuffling to pack up her things quickly. "I know you got back in town this morning and we made plans."

Santana frowned. "Relax." She replied softly, "you feeling okay?" She then asked when she got a better look at her wife.

"Yeah, just busy getting ready for my presentation and I think I have a sore throat coming on." She replied.

Santana tossed her purse on the couch and walked over to Brittany, "open up." She instructed, taking a look a Brittany's throat, using the flashlight on her phone for more light. "It's not too red." She told her. "Prob something just caught down in there." She sat on the edge of Brittany's desk. "Take the afternoon off, you're stressing yourself, we can do whatever you want, I don't have any surgeries, so I'll take the afternoon off too. I'll call Tay and have her make sure everyone gets off the bus and into the house okay after school, so we don't have to rush home."

Brittany thought for a moment, "will a martini mess with my throat? Like make it worse?" She asked. "I can't afford to get sick right now."

Santana laughed at how cute she was being and turned on her flashlight app again, "open up, let me look again." She nodded for Brittany to lean back slightly and looked in her mouth. "Honestly, I think you're okay, babe, but if it does get worse I'll write you a prescription for an antibiotic to clear it up right away."

"Deal." Brittany nodded. "Did you drive here?"

"No, I took my car home and caught an Uber." Santana shook her head as she helped Brittany pack up files and books in her briefcase. She sat on the edge of Brittany's desk and watched her log out of her laptop before sitting down in her office chair and sighing deeply.

Santana stared at her before smiling. "Stand up, baby." Brittany stood up, mimicking her wife, when she hopped off of the desk. "Take a deep breath, nice and slow." Santana told her as she felt her neck and head for a fever, before checking her throat and neck for swollen glands. "Does your throat hurt at all or just keep clearing it?"

"Just clearing it." Brittany replied.

Santana kissed her softly on the lips before walking over and pouring Brittany a glass of water, walking it over she rubbed her wife's back. "Chug it babe." Brittany drank the water quickly and sighed, before clearing her throat again. Santana watching her closely. "Feel better?"

"A little." Brittany nodded.

Taylor hopped out of her friend's car and walked to the front door, texting on her cell phone with a big smile. As she was walking in the house a school bus pulled up, with a now seven year old Skylar, dressed in blue jeans, a yellow Ralph Lauren tshirt, and a pair of yellow high top Converse. "Hey Tay!" She screeched, running to her big sister and hugging her tightly.

"Sup Sky." She smiled, kissing her sister on the forehead. "How was school?"

"Good." Skylar shrugged, jumping in the air and kicking the potted plant next to the front door.

Taylor slightly rolled her eyes as she unlocked the door to let her sister in. "Wash your hands and put your backpack in your bedroom and I'll get you a snack in a minute." She told her, sitting on the front step, staring at her white low top converse, her cropped dark denim distressed jeans, contrasting with them. She saw a text message from Santana and nodded while texting a simple "okay" and going back to her Instagram profile, taking a picture of her feet while thinking of a caption when a another school bus stopped in front of the house and three small children all hopped out.

"Taylor!" "Tay!" "Tay Tay!"

Taylor stood up and smiled, while waving to the bus driver as a 4 year old Parker Marie, and two twin boys 3 years old, Foster Nathan, and Hunter Malcolm came running towards them. "Hey guys." She beamed, making sure to hug them all individually, kissing them all on the cheek, Hunter blushing while wiping the kiss off.

"We get a snack?" Foster, who had curly blonde hair and bright blue eyes asked. Santana and Brittany used Brittany's cousin once again for the sperm, so Foster and Hunter both looked like just the Pierce side of the family.

"Sure." Taylor nodded, tossing her backpack on the couch. "Everyone has to wash their hands." She yelled at the kids all ran through the house happily, talking animatedly and making tons of noise. "I need a vacation." She groaned as she picked up Parker, who was sitting patiently on the couch, a splitting image of Skylar. "Did you color me a picture at school?" She asked her little sister.

"Two pictures."

"Whoa." Taylor laughed heading to the kitchen and pulling out big fruit salad that Brittany cut up the night before. After scooping spoonfuls into bowls and setting them in front of each, she set a pile of juice boxes on the table and grabbed a lunchable for herself, sitting on the counter to make sure the boys didn't have a food fight like they did the day before with the veggie tray they had for a snack. Once she saw that snack time would go smoothly she grabbed treats for Hansel and Gretel and set them by their bowls before letting them out to run around in the yard, wanting them to stretch out and calm down before coming in to play with the younger kids.

Twenty minutes later they all gathered in the family room, the boys sitting on a pallet on the floor, Skylar sat in the corner of the sectional, ignoring everyone and focusing solely on the movie, while Parker sat cuddled in Taylor's side while she proofread a paper she was writing for History class, wanting to get in done early so she could get it to Santana to go over while she was at soccer practice that evening. "Tay we play on the trampoline?" Parker asked, looking up at her big sister.

Taylor shook her head, knowing Skylar and the boys wanted to watch a movie, "no, let's wait for mami and momma to get home first." She told her, rubbing her back and wrapping her arm around her.

"Okay," Parker nodded happily, focusing back on the movie as the front door opened, Brittany and Santana both walking him.

"Mami!" Parker screeched, jumping off of the couch and running right in Santana's arms, getting kisses all over her face in return, as Brittany walked around and greeted the other kids before tickling Parker, who climbed in her lap when she sat on the couch.

"How was everything, T?" Santana asked, taking her heels off and walking over to Taylor after kissing the other three kids on the forehead.

"Good." Taylor replied, blushing when Santana slipped her a Starbuck's gift card, a silent thank you for canceling her after school plans to come home with her siblings.

"Get your things ready for practice." Santana told her.

"Momma usually takes me." Taylor frowned, standing up and winking at Sky, who blushed.

Brittany nodded. "I need to get some stuff done for my presentation, is it okay if your mom goes today?"

"Sure." Taylor shrugged, checking her phone before running upstairs.

With the edition of the three new little ones the family had to move into a bigger house, so with the help of a huge raise and bonus from Brittany now becoming the president of the western region for her company they bought a 6 bedroom house, wanting to make sure each of the kids had a room of their own. Quinn moved to Phoenix shortly after Santana got pregnant, Santana introduced her to a doctor at the hospital, and a year after that, the two married and now Quinn is expecting their first child together, a little girl. Santana was able to lure of the doctors from New York down to Phoenix to round out her surgical team, and in the process she was able to convince Mercedes and her husbands to accept positions at the hospital as well. Santana's parents also moved to Phoenix as promised, her father working as a lecturer at a community college while her mother enjoyed retirement and helped out with her grandchildren, loving all the time she got to spend with them since she was close, unlike the times she missed with Taylor and Skylar.

"Skylar do you have homework?" Santana asked, lifting Parker in her lap, the little Latina, yawning and cuddling into Santana.

"Maths."

"Math." Brittany corrected before yawning. "I'll help her out tonight, Santana."

30 minutes later Santana and Taylor were driving to soccer practice when Taylor spoke up suddenly. "How come you and momma don't have date nights anymore?" She asked, pulling up her socks, after putting her shin guards on.

Santana raised an eyebrow at her eldest daughter. "Trying to get rid of us for a night?" She asked with a smile.

Taylor blushed. "No, but I just remember how many date nights you and momma used to have, and now with the boys and Parker, you don't go on any, unless it's something for one of your jobs, or to Aunt Quinn's house, which isn't a date."

"Whoa." Santana laughed. "So are you offering to watch all your siblings for the night?"

"Totally." Taylor nodded. "You two should go to a movie, dinner, then out for drinks and dancing afterwards."

"Nice solid date night." Santana smiled. "Did you talk to your mom about this?"

Taylor pulled her hair into a bun on the top of her head, while shaking her head, "no, I was thinking you could take momma out, like a surprise."

Santana chewed on her bottom lip while thinking to herself, once she reached a red light, she pushed her sunglasses in her hair and rolled her neck around. "Will you help me plan something super cool for momma?" She asked. "I'll pay you for watching the little ones, very handsomely."

"You don't have to pay me, I would be home anyways." Taylor replied.

"I know, but it's not your responsibility to watch them, you're a kid yourself." Santana reasoned.

"I know, but we were in class my teacher was talking about relationships and how couples need to take time for themselves." Taylor replied, digging in her bag and popping some gum in her mouth. "So I figured I would start with you, then next time I'll tell momma. You two have super cool jobs that keep your really business, and then a bunch of kids, It's five of us!" She laughed, causing Santana to smile. "I just think you two need time alone, grown up time alone."

Santana nodded in agreement. "I agree, I think you need some time alone as well, you watch your siblings a lot, so how about we take the little ones to stay with Buela and Papi for the night, and you can have the house to yourself for a couple of hours while momma and I have a date night."

"Whoa, really?"

"Yes, provided you promise to stay in the house, no company, and don't blast music all night. You do a lot for your siblings, so I want you to be able to relax a little too." Santana told her. "We'll order you a pizza, or whatever you want."

"Cool." Taylor smiled as they pulled into the parking lot of the soccer field.

"Your mom waits, right?" Santana asked.

"Yeah, but she comes and like watches practice." Taylor her.

Santana nodded as she put the car in park, grabbing her powerbank for her phone and sliding her sunglasses down on her face. She walked behind Taylor as her daughter carried her duffle bag over to the side where a group of girls were stretching. She spotted bleachers to the side and walked over, pulling her airpods out of her pockets and sticking them in her ears when a woman walked over to her.

"Dr. Lopez-Pierce, good to see you, what a surprise, usually your wife comes." She smiled, extending her hand to shake the Latina's.

"Madeline is your daughter, right?" Santana smiled while standing up. "Good to see you too, Britany is at home with the little ones, finishing up some work." She made small talk with the woman before sitting back down and texting Brittany, letting her know she would bring home pizza and wings for dinner, knowing she needed to do work tonight, and didn't want her to worry about cooking.

8pm

"Taylor, we are taking the dogs on a walk, headphones off please." Brittany stated, walking in Taylor's room.

"Okay." Taylor nodded, sitting up and taking her headphones off, tossing them on the bed. "Where is everyone?"

"Everyone is in bed, Parker is awake, but in bed." Brittany told her.

Taylor nodded as her phone began to go off with text message after text message. She followed Brittany out of her room and walked straight into Parker's room, the little girl rolling back and forth, trying to lull herself to sleep. Taylor smiled at her and laid down behind her, Parker immediately blushing and turning into her big sister's chest, hugging her tightly. "Let's see how high we can count."

By the time Brittany got back downstairs Santana was putting the leash on Gretel, Hansel staring at her sister, since hers was already on. "Ready?" Santana smiled, handing Brittany a leash. The two started a comfortable stroll down the street in silence initially until Santana cleared her throat and spoke up. "Will you go on a date with me?"

Brittany looked over at her wife and blushed. "Okay, that was super cute." She laughed softly. "Of course I'll go on a date with you, baby."

"Cool." Santana smiled. "Saturday night I'm all yours. My parents are watching the younger kids, and Taylor is going to hang out at home."

"By herself or with company?"

"By herself, I think she needs a night to relax and decompress as much as we do. She's a teenager, and has all those teenage sturggles and stuff. They are swamped with homework at that damn school, she plays soccer practically year round, both for school and then for the club league she's in, and she more than helps with her sisters and brothers." Santana rattled off.

Brittany nodded. "I completely agree. I think we need to buy her something special, she never asks for anything really so it might be hard to try to surprise her."

"True."

"Taylor has gone from being an only child trying to get her divorced moms back together to having 4 younger siblings in a matter of 8 years." Brittany laughed. "Your poor uterus, I'm so sorry babe." She laughed louder.

Santana rolled her eyes. "Are we done? Please tell me we're done." She laughed. "If you want more we have to get a surrogate, because my baby factory is closed for business." She teased.

"We're done." Brittany nodded, leaning over and kissing Santana on the cheek. "I cant say thank you enough for all five of our kids, you never argued or pushed back. It was always an automatic yes with you, and I love you so much for that, baby. You put your body and career on the line and popped out kid after kid."

"Even a two for one." Santana laughed.

"Yes, I love you so much for that especially." Brittany laughed, "the twins were such a surprise, but all I saw was love in your eyes when the doctor told us."

"Taylor was the most excited." Santana recalled.

"Definitely." Brittany smiled. "We can think of something cool to get her." She shrugged as Santana put the leash in her other hand, so she could hold Brittany's hand, lifting her arm and kissing her wife's fingers.

"We have five fuckin kids." Santana laughed. "Who are we?"

Brittany laughed. "Kick ass moms." She blushed.

"Duh." Santana blushed. "Ready to head home, I can tell you're still stressing about work and want you to take nice long bath tonight to relax."

Midnight

Brittany finally emerged from the bathroom, dressed in an oversized tshirt, her hair in a high ponytail, she smiled at Santana before sliding in bed and cuddling in her wife's open arms. Santana immediately pressed their lips together, molding their lips together as Brittany exhaled into the kiss and rolled on top of Santana, who smirked as the kiss deepened the kiss.

Santana started to lift Brittany's tshirt off when there was knock at the door. "Parker?"

"Nope, she goes to Taylor's room." Brittany shook her head. "One of the boys then, since Sky Sky goes to Taylor's room too.":

"Come in baby." Santana called out, sitting up and stretching as Hunter and Foster both came running in. "What's up guys?"

"We want water." Foster smirked.

Santana shook her head. "Nope, let's go get back in bed."

Brittany laughed softly, "give me a hug and a kiss." She leaned over as both of the boys hugged her and kissed her on the cheek before they each grabbed Santana's hands and walked out the room. Brittany used the opportunity to check on the girls, first stopping in Parker's room, smiling at her fast asleep, holding a purple stuffed elephant, a gift from Quinn, that was inseparable from. She kissed her softly on the forehead before going to Skylar's room, the 8 year old fast asleep, a big smile on her face, she rubbed her back and kissed her on the cheek, before finally going to Taylor's room, knocking first before walking in, seeing her asleep, a Harry Potter book opened on her chest, her glasses that she used for reading pushed in her hair. She took the glasses off and tossed them on the bedside table, before placing a bookmark in her book.

"I can't believe she's 15." Santana said.

"I know right." Brittany nodded. "We are officially old."

Santana laughed. "You might be getting old, I'm getting better." She winked as she walked over to Taylor and kissed all over her face. "Still my big baby."

Taylor stirred and cleared her throat as she woke up. "You two are staring." She laughed, her eyes still closed. "I thought you were Parker at first, or Sky." She said, opening her eyes.

"Nope, just us." Santana smiled. "Sorry for waking you up, honey, sleep tight."

"Good night." Taylor whispered.

Santana grabbed Brittany's hand and led her back to the master bedroom, closing the door behind them. "Rain check?"

"Rain check." Brittany nodded in reply, slipping in bed and spooning her wife. "Good night, love."

"Good night, B." Santana replied softly, lifting Britany's hand and kissing her ring finger.
