Chapter 5: Study Hard

Hey guys I hope you are all having a great day, week, month, or year haha here's the next chapter hope you like or love it. Heads up some news on the bottom. As always I do not own these two animes or it's characters. Enjoy the story!

Gohan was not having a good morning today he winced once again hearing his mother's yelling. "Gohan! How dare you leave home without saying goodbye to your own mother!?" Gohan held the phone away from his ear even though he was miles away his mother still hurt his ears by her screaming. "Mom you were sleeping I-" Chi Chi of course wouldn't let her son explained. "No excuses young man! And why haven't you called!? You've been away for four days and this is the first phone call you made! I can't believe my son is turning into a good for nothing delinquent!" Chi Chi yelled/cried. "Mom I'm sorry I just got distracted with everything that's been happening. Mom can I talk to dad for a second?" Unfortunately that was the wrong thing to say. "What!? You don't even want to talk to your own mother!?" Gohan sighed as he was forced to hear his mother rant/yell.

Gohan was then "attack" by Yukari's hug. "Good morning Gohan!" Yukari yelled giggling when Gohan almost dropped the phone. "Gohan who was that?" "Uh sorry mom I got to go or else I'll be late. I promise to call more often bye mom." Gohan ended the call with a sigh of relief his mother would go crazy if she knew about Yukari. "Good morning Yukari." Gohan looked away blushing as he felt Yukari kiss him on the cheek. "Aww is my boyfriend embarrassed?" Yukari teased making Gohan even more red. "Um Yukari shouldn't we go find the others?" Gohan asked rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah let's go I can't wait to see their faces when we tell them."

The new couple held hands walking to the school's gate where they found Tsukune and the others. Getting closer the two were able to see Mizore's new haircut. "Hey Mizore nice haircut it looks nice." "Thank you Gohan I uh-" Mizore stopped talking when everyone notice Gohan and Yukari holding hands. Noticing the looks they were getting Gohan started looking around him. "What's wrong? Do I have something on my face?" Gohan asked using his free hand to check. Yukari just giggled at Gohan for being clueless. Thinking this was a perfect opportunity Kurumu smirked. "Looks like you finally realized you had no chance with Tsukune since it's so obvious we're destined to be together." Kurumu gloated reminding Gohan on how Bulma brags about her inventions. "Hey Gohan." Tsukune whispered to the boy while pointing to the school. Gohan nodded and the two boys left without a word not wanting to be caught in the fight.

"So what I moved on, but I just know Tsukune will pick Moka. She has beauty and brains while you only have big breasts which you only use to kill Tsukune!" A tick mark appeared on Kurumu's forehead after hearing Yukari's comment about her breasts. "Tsukune loves my big breasts right Tsukune!?" Kurumu yelled turning to Tsukune who was missing along with Gohan. "Hey where did Tsukune go?" "And Gohan?" The girls question looking at Moka who just shrugged. "I don't know." Moka was so distracted with the fight she didn't notice the boys absence either. "They left to class since they didn't want to get involved." Mizore answered while hiding behind a tree. "This is all your fault Kurumu." Yukari pouted walking to the school. "How's it my fault!?" Kurumu yelled following the witch.

Meanwhile with Gohan and Tsukune

"When did you and Yukari stated dating?" Tsukune asked as the two walked down the hall. "W-Well last night actually I was walking Yukari back to her dorm and it just happen." Gohan blushed thinking about it. "I'm happy for you hope everything goes great." "Thank you." The two smile at each other until they heard the school's bell ring. "I got to go see you later Tsukune." "Bye Gohan." The two waved to each other as they spilt up. Now alone Gohan had time to think of his situation. 'I love this place, but l can't get any serious training done here. I know dad said we're ready, but how can I be if I can't even do the Super Saiyan training!?' Gohan was pulled from his thoughts when Yukari hugged him from behind.

"You're a horrible boyfriend Gohan. How could you just leave me like that?" Yukari asked pouting cutely at Gohan. "I'm sorry Yukari Tsukune wanted to talk for a bit and besides you weren't alone you were with the Kurumu and the other girls." Grabbing Yukari's hand Gohan smiled at her. "How about we hang out later just you and me like we did at the mall?" Gohan offered making Yukari blush. "That sounds perfect you're forgiven." Yukari kissed Gohan on the cheek before grabbing his hand and leading him to the classroom. "Let's go or else we'll be late."

Once in class the two sat next to each other in the front like always. "Ok class as you know with the Cell Games coming up we won't be able to give you two week vacation for safety reasons." After saying this most of the class either groan, complained, or did both. While Gohan just clenched his fists being reminded of the Cell Games. 'I need to train or else I'll never be ready for it.' Gohan was once again pulled from his thoughts when Yukari put her hand on top of one of his fists. "Gohan are you ok?" It was rare to see Gohan angry especially since there's no fighting going on so this made Yukari concern for her boyfriend. "Uh yeah I'm fine Yukari really." Gohan gave Yukari a small smile as he relaxed and held Yukari's hand.

"And don't forget today is a short day, but you're taking your tests at 5:30 later today. If you either want to participate in the Cell Games or just watch the games you must pass this test." The teacher explained making Gohan jump out of his seat. "What!? I was never told of this!" Gohan yelled in rage he had to go and help his dad beat Cell. "Mr. Son we informed the entire campus the day the games were announced! Oh wait you weren't here, but still the rules were made by the head of the school so you have to take the test like everyone else. Now a warning for all of you anyone who fails the test and still goes to the Cell Games will be expelled from the school no exceptions." The teacher warned looking/glaring directly at Gohan who just gritted his teeth and sat down. "Dont worry so much Gohan you're smart and I could help you study after school." Yukari offered successfully calming Gohan down. "Thanks Yukari you really are the best." Yukari giggled and smirked. "Of course I am!"

The School's Roof (Lunch Time)

Tsukune and the girls were having lunch on the school's roof, but the only person missing from their group was Gohan. "Hey Yukari where's Gohan?" Moka asked drinking her tomato juice. "He said he had to study for the test. I asked if I could help him, but he said he wanted to be alone." Yukari was disappointed and sad that she couldn't spend her lunch with Gohan. "What don't tell me your new boyfriend is already tired of you?" Kurumu teased smirking, but a golden washtub fell on her head. "Shut up! Unlike you Gohan won't hurt me!" Yukari yelled angry and a little hurt at Kurumu. "Kurumu that was going too far." Moka scolded at Kurumu who just looked away. "Whatever."

"Hey guys do you see that?" Tsukune was pointing at a small yellow light in the sky. (No, not the sun) "Here I got it." Yukari lifted up her wand summoning four binoculars. "That's what great about being a witch." Yukari gloated handing everyone a binocular except Kurumu. "Hey what about me!?" Kurumu yelled only to have Yukari stick out her tongue. "You don't get one." Everyone except Kurumu lifted up their binoculars looking at the yellow light. "N-No way." "He's moving so fast." Tsukune and Moka said in shock as they watched Gohan in his Super Saiyan form throwing punches and kicks in the air.

"What going no fair let me see." Kurumu continued to whine until a pair of binoculars fell on her head. "There now shut up!" Yukari yelled her full attention was on the shirtless Gohan. (He took it off so the uniform won't rip)"Is that Gohan?" Kurumu asked. "Well he looks him, but Gohan has black hair not blond." Tsukune argued, but he was silently crying to himself. ' Gohan or not why can't I have muscles like that?' "That has to be Gohan it can't be a conscience that he's not here and a guy who looks exactly like him is in the sky flying like Gohan does." Yukari reasoned as she kept looking at Gohan's chest most of the time he was a blur, but when he was visible it made Yukari almost drool.

'This isn't enough! How can I beat Cell if I can't get any stronger!?' Gohan thought furiously putting more power into his attacks. 'I need to protect them all!' Piccolo flashed into his mind followed by Krillin and all of his other friends (the Z-warriors), then his family, and lastly all his friends and girlfriend he made at school. 'I can't let them down!' "AHHH!" Gohan yelled as he powered up even more sparks of electricity started mixing with his bright yellow aura. The sudden boost of power started a earthquake around the school scaring the students and the teachers. "So this world isn't doom after all well that's good to hear." A man with pure white robes with a cross necklace and his face was covered by the shadow of his hood chuckled. This man was the head master of Yokai Academy.

Time Skip

"Why does this uniform have to be so stiff?" Gohan complained trying to stretch his arms while walking down the hallway for his class. Turning the corner Gohan saw Yukari waiting for him. "Hey Yukari." Gohan greeted smiling at the witch. "Gohan where were you at lunch?" Yukari asked making Gohan's eyes widen and scratch his cheek. "I uh I told you already Yukari. I was in the um library yeah that's it I was in the library." 'Wrong answer' Yukari thought crossing her arms over her chest. "Gohan don't lie to me I saw you in the sky during lunch." 'Oh no busted' Gohan winced seeing Yukari's glare. "Gohan we're dating now that means you have to be honest with me please?" Yukari pleaded giving Gohan the puppy dog eyes. The poor kid didn't stand a chance.

"I'm sorry, but can we go somewhere else to talk please?" Nodding to his request the two went up to the school's roof. "Ok ask away." "Why we're you blonde? And why lie about studying?" Sighing Gohan decided to go with the easier question. "Well remember how I'm half Saiyan?" Seeing Yukari nod Gohan continued explaining. "Well a Saiyan has two transformations one is a giant monkey, but we need our tails and the full moon for that one. The other is legendary transformation it's called a Super Saiyan that transformation increases our power immensely." "Can I see it?" Yukari's purple eyes were filled with curiosity and excitement. Chuckling Gohan nodded "Of course just step back." Doing as told Yukari step back and in doing so Gohan was surrounded by a yellow aura. "Now watch closely. Ah!" With a scream Gohan's hair turned yellow, his eyes went from solid black to teal, and his muscles bugle.

Yukari gasp it was so much different seeing the transformation up close than far away. Dismissing the aura Gohan stayed Super Saiyan. "I'm sorry I lied to you Yukari it's just I need to train if I...if I want to beat Cell." Just saying the name made Gohan clench his fists. "So you planning on fighting him." Yukari said more to herself than anything, but the sad tone was clear as day. "Yukari-" Gohan stop seeing Yukari shake her head. The two stayed silent for a few minutes until Gohan broke the silence. "We should get going we're already late." "Yeah you're right." The two turn to leave, but before Gohan open the door Yukari grabbed his hand stopping him.

"Gohan you can't go like that." Yukari pointed to Gohan's now blonde hair. "But Yukari I want to stay like this till the Cell Games." 'Sorry mom.' "I don't mind you being blonde Gohan. But how are you going to explain having black hair during class and then come back with blonde hair and teal eyes?" Gohan tried thinking of a lie, but he couldn't come up with one. "Can you help me Yukari please? You're much better at lying than I am. I really want to train and for that I need to stay in my Super Saiyan form." Yukari sigh there was no way she could say no to him especially since he's planning on fighting Cell. "Ok Gohan we could just ditch the rest of the day. We already missed half of the period so why not?" Yukari suggested smiling knowing that her plan will work.

"B-But Yukari won't we get on trouble?" Gohan was terrified of the thought of his mother finding out he ditch school for training. "Don't worry if anyone asks we'll say you had a stomachache and I was helping you get better." Now it was Yukari who was stopped from leaving the roof. The witch blush as Gohan wrapped his arms around her waist. "We'll get caught if we go that way let me take care of this." Gohan floated off the roof and flew away slowly for Yukari. Yukari tightly wrapped her arms around Gohan's neck still a little scarred of flying without her broom. Landing in the middle of the woods Yukari gave Gohan a mock glare. "You could of warn me, but-" Yukari pause to kiss gohan on the lips. "I did like the ride." Blushing Gohan let Yukari go and sat on the ground. "Since class is going I thought we could stay here." "Good idea!" Yukari smiled as she sat down leaning on Gohan's shoulder.

Time Skip

In the far corner of the library the now Super Saiyan Gohan and Yukari sat next to each other studying. Yukari was helping Gohan about the Yokai history and their biology. "As you can see S-class monsters are the most powerful the more common ones are vampires and werewolves. Then there's A-class which Gohan stop looking at me like that." Yukari blush as Gohan keep looking at her with amazement. "Wow I never met someone as smart as me before." This just made Yukari smirk. "Right back at you all the others I tutored never understood what I taught them." ' Yet again I only tutored two people, but he doesn't need to know that.' Smiling Yukari scooted closer to Gohan. "Gohan if you could answer this next question I'll give you a reward." Yukari offered immediately getting Gohan interested he loved Yukari's rewards. "Who's the prettiest girl you know?" Getting even closer Yukari closed her eyes. "That's easy it's-" "KURUMU!" "Ahh!"

The poor couple jump out of their seats blushing like crazy while Kurumu just laughed at them. Unfortunately for Gohan he tripped and fell on the floor. "That was great, but Yukari I need your help. I need you to tutor me so I could pass the test." "Yeah not gonna happen so just leave me and Gohan are busy studying." Yukari was glaring at Kurumu while Gohan pick himself off the floor. "Oh come on please? Tsukune and Moka will probably pass the test and no way am I gonna get left out on going to the Cell Games." Kurumu begged desperately, but Yukari just grabbed the books and turned to leave. "Let's go to my room Gohan we could study a lot better there." Unfortunately Kurumu planned for this so she went with plan B tying Yukari up Kurumu dragged the poor girl out of the library. "Hey let me go! This is kidnapping! Gohan help!" Yukari yelled fake tears running down her face. "So much for my reward." Gohan grumbled following Kurumu and the tied up Yukari.

The Club Room

This was not what Yukari planned today. Yukari and all her other friends (and boyfriend) were in the club room studying for the test. First it was just her, Gohan, and Kurumu, but now Moka, Tsukune, and even Mizore we're with them. When they all saw Gohan they immediately question his new look. "Is that you Gohan?" (Tsukune) "What happen to your hair?" (Moka) "Forget the hair what about your eyes?" (Mizore) "I'll explain later can we just study first? I need to pass that test!" Agreeing to save the questions for later they started the study session. Since Gohan, Moka, and Yukari were the smartest they had to tutor the other three. Of course Yukari made time to tutor Gohan.

"You see monsters and humans bodies aren't that different except some bones and organs are much larger than humans. Also some monster have more organs then other like this one has two sets of lungs. And these ones are missing a few organs." Finished explaining Yukari looked at Gohan who was completely focus on his studies writing notes on his note book. "You're amazing Yukari I understand it now. I think I'm ready for the test thank you so much." Noticing nobody was looking at them Gohan quickly kiss Yukari on the lips. "Anything for you Gohan I know you'll do great on the test."

Everyone continued to either study or tutor someone else until there was only fifteen minutes till the test. Gohan sigh he was planning on using the lie Yukari came up with, but she already told him that they saw him training during lunch. "Ok the reason for my hair and eye color change is because Saiyan's have a transformation that raises our power. I'm training to master this form for the Cell Games." Giving the short version the others were still confused. "Ok, but why does it change your hair and eyes?" Tsukune ask making Gohan shrug. "I don't know why exactly it just does and I'm fine with it. It doesn't look bad does it?" Gohan looked at Yukari for a answer who just smiled. "Of course not Gohan you look great." "Attention students! It's now time for your tests please report to your respected classrooms! I repeat report to your respected classrooms!" With that announcement Gohan and Yukari left to their homeroom.

Time Skip

Walking out of the classroom Gohan and Yukari were the only ones who finished early. "What did you think of the test Gohan?" Yukari ask resting her head on Gohan's shoulder as they walk. "It was really easy thanks to you Yukari. Maybe you should be a teacher some day." Gohan laughed while Yukari giggled. "I'll think about it. Hey you never answered my question who's the prettiest girl you know?" Laughing again Gohan answered with no hesitation. "It's you Yukari." Gohan smiled brightly while Yukari rewarded him with a kiss. "You got that right mister."

Great Saiyaman54: Sorry dude I won't make Cell fight Gohan at Yokai Academy. The reason is simple it's because before the Cell Games Cell doesn't care about Gohan. He just wants to beat Goku and destroy the universe. There's no reason for Cell to search for Gohan.

dcsonic 10: Yes Gohan will have brother and sister relationships with his friends, but I'll get more on that later in the story

Unknown guest: No Gohan did not kill Kotsubo he just beat him up.

With that done I want to warn you all the next chapter is much longer therefore it'll take much longer for me to type it up and upload it. Also I might not answer questions like this due to it ruining the story, but I will provide answers to all questions by private messaging.
