BOOK THREE:

CHANGE

CHAPTER THIRTEEN:

VENOM OF THE RED LOTUS

Still chained and suspended in the cave in front of the Red Lotus insignia, Korra squirmed and struggled to try and break free from her shackles, while her captors watched upon a viewing platform below. She grunted loudly while Naruto was witnessing the scene from afar, peeking out from a large crystal.

"When I get out of here," she began in an enraged tone, "none of you will survive!" she screamed.

"You won't get out," Zaheer responded, "unless the Metal Clan taught you a way to bend platinum," he noted, with the other two hooded members having the silvery liquid bent out before him, "Once we administer this poison," he began, "your body will naturally react, forcing you into the Avatar State in effort to keep you alive," he explained, "Sadly for you," he continued, "you'll be entering it for the last time," he told her, making the shinobi blink in shock.

"No!" she pleaded desperately, sweating in fear, "The Avatar Cycle-"

"Yes," the airbender interrupted calmly, "When we dispatch you in the Avatar State, the cycle will end," he noted, with all of his followers viewing Korra with him, "So we lucky few," he continued, "this band of brothers and sisters in anarchy," he kept going, "are witnessing the beginning of an era of true freedom," he stated, "Together, we will forge a world without kings and queens," he listed off, "without borders or nations," he continued, "where Man's only allegiance is to himself and those he loves," he told her, "We will return to the true balance of natural order," he said, "And though you will never again be reborn," he added, "your name will echo throughout history," he finished, "Korra, the last Avatar," he stated, making her look on in fear. Naruto gritted his teeth angrily, clenching his fists. Elsewhere in the cavern, Jinora's spiritual projection had eavesdropped on the revelation, seeing it from afar before disappearing. Back in her physical body, she opened her eyes immediately, where she and all the other airbenders were in another part of the complex, chained directly to the floor, all of them being cuffed at the wrists.

"Did you find any way to escape?" Opal asked.

"No. Not yet," the airbender girl replied, "But don't worry," she reassured, "we'll find a way out soon," she said.

"They might not make it that long…" Daw noted, as Kya and Bumi were lying down on the ground, unconscious as the former's head was upon the lap of another airbender, while the latter was leaned up against a rock.

"Korra will come and save us," Ikki chimed in, "right?" she questioned.

"I think we're gonna have to do this on our own," her older sister responded, looking back to see the two Red Lotus guards securing the entrance, wearing red and black clothing. From afar, Natsu, Ash, and Pikachu peeked out of a corner, seeing the men in front of the airbenders.

"We should take 'em out right now!" the fire mage whispered in rage, "They're no match for the two of us!" he noted confidently.

"Pika, pi!" the mouse Pokémon squeaked, placing his paws at his hips in annoyance.

"Sorry," the dragon slayer apologized, "three of us…" he corrected.

"I wanna do something too," Ash agreed, "but Naruto told us not to attract too much attention," he said, "We don't know how many of these guys are in these caves," he pointed out, "There could be hundreds…" he suggested. Natsu sniffed the air around him, with Pikachu following suit.

"Doesn't smell that crowded 'round here," the fire mage told him.

"Pika…" the Electric type agreed.

"At any rate, let's lay low until we have a chance to sneak up on them," the Pokémon trainer explained, "Sound good?" he asked.

"Eh… fine," the dragon slayer sighed, peeking back out to see the two guards still stationed in front of the airbenders. Back in the crystal part of the cavern, Naruto watched as Zaheer and his followers were about to execute the process.

"Administer the poison," the airbender told the sentry. Suddenly though, a kunai flew through the air, catching his eye as it was about to hit his follower. He utilized an air blast to blow it away, having it pierce into the earth away from them, getting their attentions, including Korra's. Just then, the jinchuriki leaped out, having a Rasengan spiraling upon his right hand, about to attack the group.

"There's no way I'm letting you kill my friend!" he exclaimed. Zaheer suddenly flew up at him at that moment, much to his surprise as the terrorist flipped, performing an air kick and sending the shinobi up the ceiling, having him get pierced right in the back by a stalactite.

"NARUTO!" the Avatar screamed in horror. However, the shinobi burst into a puff of smoke, which dissipated in a matter of moments, making her sigh in relief.

"What was that?" Ming-Hua asked.

"A decoy," her leader replied, "And he must be here with those others from the temple," he realized.

"So, what do we do?" Ghazan asked.

"We have our objective," Zaheer responded, then nodded to the hooded Red Lotus sentry. He began to bend the poison again, splitting into four portions, and having each attach to one of Korra's limbs, making her writhe just a little. He then diffused the silvery liquid into her skin, causing her to scream in agonizing pain throughout the area. Elsewhere, the real Naruto was running throughout the maze of the caves, hearing the cries of pain echo throughout the complex.

"I'm sorry Korra…" he apologized, "I promise… I'll get you out of there as soon as I can!" he said to himself, leaping forward as his eyes reverted to Sage Mode. Back in that part of the cavern, the Avatar's eyes began glowing, flashing momentarily as she kept fighting against the poison.

"Get ready," Zaheer told his followers, "As soon as she's in the Avatar State, take her out," he ordered. On one side of the viewing platform, Ming-Hua readied herself by freezing the tips of her water arms into ice picks, while on the other, Ghazan began turning the ground beneath the Avatar's suspended position into lava, preparing to attack. However, she was continuing to resist the poison, entering and exiting the Avatar State as her eyes flashed on and off. "Wait," the airbender said, halting the others.

"Why isn't she staying in the Avatar State?" the lavabender asked.

"Give it time," his leader replied, "She can't resist for long," he noted. Elsewhere, the team upon the pair of sky bison flew across the mountain range, headed towards the area of the caverns. Lefty led the way with Kai upon his back, who had Fletchinder on his shoulder as Oogi followed them, who was carrying Tenzin, Mako, Bolin, Asami, Tonraq, Ben, Lin, Su, Rainbow Dash, and Hinata upon his saddle.

"The place where we saw them taking the airbenders is around here," the young boy pointed out to the group on the adult bison.

"That's gotta be where they took Korra," the firebender noted.

"And where Naruto, Ash, and Natsu are," Ben added, getting a nod a reply from Kai, who then noticed a cave in distance, with five Air Nomad statues carved on the rock walls around it.

"Fletch Fletchin Fletch!" the Ember Pokémon cried out as he unlatched himself from the airbender boy, gliding down quickly.

"That's it!" he told the group, "Down there, Lefty," he said to his little sky bison, who flew down with Oogi to follow, both landing in front of the cave, and letting the team dismount from them moments later. Tenzin began to keel over again, but Tonraq and Bolin supported him back, as he held his right hip in pain.

"Find the airbenders," he began in between breaths, "and my family…" he told the group in his weakened voice.

"Don't worry," Su reassured, putting a hand on his shoulder, "We're not coming out without our children and the rest of your people," she said to him. Meanwhile, the rest of the group stood outside the cave entrance, with Hinata utilizing her Byakugan as the veins around her eyes bulged out while her vision was enhanced.

"See anything kid?" Lin asked the Hyuga girl.

"The airbenders are definitely in there," she replied, "A couple of guards too I think," she added, "And… Ash and Natsu!" she said in surprise, yet was relieved to know they were there.

"What about Korra?" Mako asked.

"Or Zaheer and the others?" Tonraq questioned on.

"No… I don't see them yet…" Hinata responded, "Or Naruto…" she noted worriedly, "They must be deeper in the caves," she realized, letting the veins around her eyes retract.

"Let's worry about getting to the airbenders first," Ben suggested.

"Right!" Rainbow agreed, running into the cavern with everyone else to follow, minus Tenzin, who looked on as he leaned up against Oogi in pain. Inside, the Avatar was still trying to resist the poison, sweating madly as she kept on squirming and groaning.

"It's working," Zaheer noted as he saw her continue to enter and then exit the Avatar State, with her eyes flashing rapidly. Meanwhile, Naruto arrived in the area, keeping out of sight as he hid behind a rock slab covered with crystals.

"Korra…" he whispered to himself as he saw her still fighting against going into the Avatar State.

"It's no use kid..." Kurama told the jinchuriki from inside his head, "She's quite a fighter for resisting this long," he admitted, "but you heard what that Zaheer maniac said," he noted, "It won't be long before she has to go into the Avatar State…" he stated.

"So what?" the shinobi asked the tailed beast from his head, "If Korra goes into the Avatar State, she'll take everyone here down instantly!" he shouted.

"Assuming that she survives that long…" the Nine-Tails noted, making the ninja instantly widen his eyes with a gasp in realization. He turned back to see the Avatar, still trying to resist the effects of the poison.

"I told you, Korra," a familiar voice echoed as she was beginning to hallucinate, causing her eyes to widen in shock. She looked down and saw Zaheer's face crack up, and then fall off, revealing the mask of one of her former enemies, Amon. "The world doesn't need you anymore," he stated to her. She frightfully looked off to the side, then saw Ghazan's head turn all the way around, with it changing into the face of her uncle's, Unalaq.

"The time of the Avatar is over, Korra," he told her, "Give up," he said. Her fear and sweat intensified, and it only increased as she looked over to Ming-Hua, who morphed into the dark spirit of Vaatu.

"You're too weak to resist," he began as he floated up to her, "and I'm stronger than ever!" he proclaimed, "There's no use fighting," he stated, "Let go," he said.

"Let go. Let go. Let go," all of Korra's former enemies chanted, with the Avatar being left in a state of panic and fear. Back in the other section of the cave where the airbenders were detained, Jinora glanced out at the guards. She then looked to her sister, nodding to her.

"I'm thirsty!" Ikki whined, trying to the attentions of the sentries.

"I gotta go pee!" Meelo yelled.

"Me too," Daw said.

"Hey!" one of the sentries shouted, having a brown mustache upon his face, "Keep it down over there," he ordered, "or you're all gonna end up like them," he threatened, pointing at the injured Kya and Bumi, whom everyone glanced back at for a moment.

"Sir, please," Pema pleaded as she held Rohan in her arms, "Could we just have some water?" she asked him, "There are children, and a baby here," she pointed out. The sentry glanced back at his partner, who just shrugged in reply, letting him bring a jug of water over to the airbenders. Once he got close to them, all of a sudden, Jinora airbended at him from below, blowing his robes up to his face, and also causing the keys upon his belt to fall off. While having the open opportunity, Meelo airbent the falling keys right towards Opal, who quickly caught them just before the guard's robes came back down, hiding them from his view as she placed them in between her legs.

"Oh, so you just called me over to attack me?" the sentry realized, "Fine!" he exclaimed, "Now nobody gets any water," he stated, walking away while taking swig of the liquid from the jug, standing next to his partner, "I don't know how we ended up in daycare while everyone else gets to watch the Avatar being destroyed," he complained, "I can hold a bowl of poison!" he added, somewhat upset. While they were distracted, Opal took the keys from her hands and began to twist one into her cuffs, unlocking them with a click.

"Hey!" the other guard yelled, having heard the sound, walking over to the airbender girl, "What do you think you're doing?!" he shouted. Before anything else could occur, a rock slab slammed against him, knocking him out cold as it bashed him against the wall. His partner ran over, quickly glancing at him, and then to his attacker, which turned out to be the whole rescue team, with Su leading the charge as she had bent through the wall. The sentry bent up two rock slabs, sending them hurdling toward the matriarch. She however bent up an earth column, blocking them both as they shattered to bits against it. Ben and Asami then leaped out, both avoiding another rock thrown their way as the beauteous girl latched onto the Red Lotus guard, using her electric glove to stun him on the back, electrocuting him. After he was knocked out, the Omnitrix bearer noticed the previous sentry begin to stir and awaken. He quickly slid open the lid of the device upon his left wrist, letting its dial pop up. He slammed it down with his hand, creating a green flash of light as he transformed. His eyes combined into one as black extensions on his head began to form, with ends similar to plugs. His hands now had four fingers with plugs on the tip of each one, and he had a tail with a plug on the end of it as well. There were also gold battery bolts across his arms and upon his hips. He had a black and green color scheme for his body, and the Omnitrix symbol was on his chest. He plugged his extensions into the beauteous girl's electric glove, generating a strong current through both of them.

"Hey!" the Future Industries leader yelled, just as the sentry stood up, shooting a fire blast right at them from his right hand. Feedback quickly reacted, sticking out both of his hands, firing an electrical beam that sliced through the flames, striking the guard and knocking him out against the wall again.

"Oh yeah!" the Conductoid exclaimed with a fist pump, unplugging his extensions from Asami's glove, which was now broken as mere sparks emerged from it.

"Thanks…" she said sarcastically to him, as he sheepishly rubbed his head in apology with a smile.

"Mom!" Opal cried out in joy as Su ran over, kneeling down and embracing her daughter.

"Oh, honey, I'm so glad you're safe," she told her. Suddenly though, Bolin ran in, throwing her aside, causing her to yelp.

"Me too…" he said, embracing his crush tightly, while the Metal Clan matriarch just glared at him.

"Hold on," Feedback interrupted, "Where're the others?" he asked.

"Fire Dragon…" a voice began, getting everyone's attention as they turned to see Natsu run into the area with his right fist covered in flames, "…Iron-! Eh?" he said, stopping himself in mid-stride as he noticed that the guards were knocked out, and the group that had entered.

"Natsu!" Hinata exclaimed delightedly. The dragon slayer had the fire on his hand go out, as he blinked in surprise to see everyone else. Just then, Ash ran in with Pikachu, smiling happily as they saw their friends.

"You guys made it!" he noted with a grin, "Told ya they'd get here," he said to the fire mage, nudging him playfully on the shoulder with his right elbow, slightly annoying him.

"What took you guys so long?" Natsu asked the group.

"Well, why didn't you go ahead and take out the guards while we were on our way?" Rainbow asked back, "Seems kinda stupid for guys as strong as you to wait on us…" she noted with a smirk.

"What was that?!" the dragon slayer screamed, "I could've taken these guys in a split-second if a certain someone would've let me!" he yelled at Ash.

"Okay, okay…" the Pokémon trainer pleaded. Just then, Fletchinder flew up to his trainer's shoulder, much to his delight as he petted the Ember Pokémon in gratitude.

"By the way," the fire mage began, looking at the rainbow haired girl, "who the heck are you?" he asked curiously.

"Natsu, that's Rainbow Dash," Feedback responded for her, "Rainbow, Natsu," he introduced, "Now that we've got that out of the way, where's Korra?" he asked quickly, changing the subject.

"And Naruto too…" Hinata chimed in.

"Don't forget about Zaheer and those other Red Lotus members," Tonraq added, while in the meantime, Asami, Mako, Su, Lin, and Bolin began to help free the airbenders from their shackles.

"We're not sure where they are exactly…" Ash responded, "Once we got to the caves, Naruto had his shadow clones look through the entire place," he explained.

"We found the airbenders," the dragon slayer pointed out, "but then we saw that the airship had left, heading back towards the air temple," he told them.

"So we sent Kai and Fletchinder back to get you guys, since we knew you'd probably be headed there too," the Pokémon trainer said, before he returned the Fire/Flying type back into his Poké Ball in a red beam of light.

"And once Zaheer got here with Korra…" Feedback began to realize.

"Naruto set out to rescue her, while you two would make sure the airbenders were still safe," Tonraq finished, getting nods in reply. A few moments later, Asami had finished unlocking the cuffs around all the airbenders, with a few of them going over to support Kya back up, while Lin did the same with Bumi. Once Jinora was freed, she looked out to see Kai standing there, much to her delight and relief.

"You're alive!" she exclaimed as she ran towards him, embracing him tightly, "I can't believe it!" she admitted before she let go of him.

"Why?" the airbender boy asked jokingly, "Just because I was blown out of the sky, and fell hundreds of feet down a cliff?" he questioned modestly, "Don't you know it takes more than that to get rid of me?" he boasted, grinning widely as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, while Jinora just playfully nudged him on the shoulder with her right fist.

"We have to get these two out of here now," the police chief told the group, as Kya and Bumi looked extremely weakened, "They don't look so good," she pointed out.

"What are you talking about?" the man on her shoulder asked, "I feel great!" he said with a fist pump, but then slumped down, coughing weakly.

"You guys get everyone out of here," Tonraq told the group, "I'll search for Korra," he said.

"We're going with you," Mako chimed in for himself and his brother.

"Same with us," Feedback added, volunteering with Rainbow as they stepped up.

"You don't have to search for her," Jinora mentioned to them, getting their attentions, "I know exactly where she's being held," she said just as the Omnitrix symbol timed out, transforming the Conductoid back into Ben.

"All right," he responded, "Hinata, go with the others and get the airbenders outside," he told her, getting a nod in reply, "You two go with her," he said to Ash and Natsu.

"Got it," the Pokémon trainer replied, while Pikachu shook his head up and down in agreement.

"You gotta be kidding me!" the dragon slayer exclaimed in frustration, "I know we need to protect the airbenders," he began, "but I can totally take on all those yahoos!" he proclaimed.

"And that's why you need to guard them on the way out," Ben mentioned.

"There's likely a lot more Red Lotus members hiding out in these caves," Mako added.

"Ugh…" Natsu sighed, "So much for getting some action on this rescue…" he noted, folding his arms behind his head in disappointment.

"Hey!" a male voice exclaimed, getting everyone's attention immediately, "What's all that ruckus about?!" it screamed.

"The airbenders must be loose!" another voice echoed, as the group in the area heard the sounds of footsteps running towards them.

"You were saying?" Ash rhetorically asked the fire mage, who chuckled in response, and then pulled off a wide grin.

"Now that gets me fired up," he stated excitedly. He then ran out with the Pokémon trainer and Pikachu to follow. They saw that two more Red Lotus sentries, dressed in the same robes as the others, were heading their way, with one of them bending out water from the sacks upon his back, freezing them over his arms into ice blades.

"Halt!" he commanded, just as Ash began to spark in his lightning cloak, with his partner Pokémon's cheeks vibrating wildly with electricity, "I order you to-!" The guard's sentence was immediately interrupted as the boy suddenly rammed into him, with his right arm wrapping around the sentry's torso.

"LARIAT!" the Pokémon trainer exclaimed. He then threw the guard all the way across the room in an instant, sending him crashing into the wall, much to the surprise of his partner as he had stopped to see him fall down, being knocked out cold. He turned back to see the dragon slayer standing there, with his hands at his hips.

"Well?" he asked, gesturing for the sentry to take him on. He bended out a fire blast at him, but he countered easily, opening his mouth and absorbing the flames completely, chomping down loudly with a wide smile.

"Wh-What?!" the guard stuttered in shock.

"Man," Natsu said as he rubbed his lips with his right hand, "You firebenders sure know how to make some tasty flames," he admitted as his opponent stumbled back in fear, "So how 'bout I return the favor?!" he suggested, puffing out his chest before shooting his own breath of fire from his mouth, exploding on impact with the sentry, as smoke followed. Once it cleared, he fell flat on his face in a smoky heap.

"Come on everyone!" Hinata beckoned as she helped support Kya with another airbender, as everyone minus the brothers, Tonraq, Ben, Rainbow, and Jinora began to head out.

"Okay Jinora," Rainbow began, "where's Korra?" she asked.

"A bit further into the caves," the airbender girl replied, "If I had to guess, Naruto's probably there too," she added.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Ben asked rhetorically as Jinora ran off, "Let's go!" he yelled to the rest of the group, heading into the deeper parts of the cavern with the others to follow. Meanwhile, the Avatar herself was still moaning and groaning in pain as her will to stay out of the Avatar State was weakening. Zaheer watched in wonder as her eyes were becoming bright white more frequently. All of a sudden, her eyes glowed completely, no longer changing as a dome of air began building up around her body.

"Now!" the terrorist leader exclaimed, "Destroy the Avatar!" he ordered.

"Like I'm gonna let you do that!" a voice screamed sarcastically, getting the airbender's attention as he turned to see Naruto jump down, with another Rasengan in hand. He landed before him, and then lunged out, about to strike him on the chest. However, one of his hooded followers leapt into the shinobi's target, letting the attack hit him right where it was about to hit his leader. He was sent hurdling into the rocks below the two, crashing through them.

"AAAAAGGGHHHH!" he screamed before he struck nothing but earth, smashing into it. The jinchuriki then looked out to see Ming-Hua fling an ice shard right towards the Avatar.

"Korra!" he exclaimed, about to jump in and stop the attack, but the airbender blasted him back with wind, sending him tumbling away. He gritted his teeth in frustration as his friend was about to be struck, but she began breathing fire, instantly melting the ice shard into nothing. She then pulled on the chain upon her right arm, unlatching it from the earth that it was connected to. She then swung it towards Zaheer and Naruto, who immediately jumped away, the latter of the two witnessing in amazement. "Whoa…" he said in awe.

"She is the Avatar after all," Kurama noted, "This shouldn't be a surprise…" he added.

"Right," the jinchuriki agreed, landing down as he saw her swing the chain back towards Ming-Hua, smashing the earth slab against her, knocking her out with a shriek as she slammed against the wall, losing her watery appendages. Ghazan looked on in astonishment as he saw the Avatar swing the chain back around, wrapping it around her arm before he ran up, erupting the lava underneath her. However, once she had the manacle wrapped around her right arm, she used her appendage to bend out a blast of air, redirecting the flow of the magma before it could reach her, sending it toward the lavabender. He hollered in shock, cartwheeling away to retreat before it could hit him. The shinobi then landed down, witnessing the escape before him as Korra broke the chains upon her ankles, leaving only the cuffs upon them before she blasted the broken shackles away with air.

"We need to help her Kurama," he said to himself in a whisper, "Like you said, she's not gonna be able to fight forever…" he noted. All of a sudden, his body burst up an yellowish-orange aura, and his Tailed Beast Mode cloak began enveloping his body. Zaheer turned around to witness that the jinchuriki had transformed as he eyelids were red, and his pupils became crossed, while at the same time, saw the Avatar propel herself with her firebending from her suspended position, ripping off the final chain, allowing her to land down right before the terrorist, making him jump back and float up. She then bent up four large rocks, having them all orbit around her as her power had increased exponentially.

X

Korra gritted her teeth angrily as she bent the rocks around her, then blew them all away with airbending, having them crash into the walls of the cave, with crystals and stalactites breaking from the ceiling. She breathed out fire in fury as the remaining hooded Red Lotus sentry began to run off, before Naruto noticed.

"Hey!" he yelled, running after him as his right arm formed a large chakra fist, just as the man halted, already desperate enough to get out, "You're not goin' anywhere!" the jinchuriki exclaimed to him. Before the guard could bend up an earth pillar to defend himself, he was struck right into the wall by the shinobi's chakra fist, getting embedded into the earth before falling down flat on his face in a heap.

"Naruto!" a voice called out, getting his attention as the chakra fist disappeared. He turned to see Tonraq, Mako, Bolin, Rainbow Dash, and Ben enter the area.

"You guys finally made it, huh?" the ninja said jokingly, when suddenly, they all saw Korra angrily breathing fire towards Zaheer, who was easily flying away from all her flames of fury.

"Whoa…" the rainbow haired girl said in awe.

"Korra!" her father exclaimed, then saw the terrorist fly out through the open part of the ceiling. His daughter propelled herself upward, using fire at her feet to give chase. "We have to help her!" the Southern Water Tribe Chief realized as she flew up past them, burning with rage.

"I dunno guys…" Rainbow admitted, "Korra looks like she's got this all under control…" she noted.

"It might look that way right now," Naruto began, "but she's gonna be in a lot of trouble later," he told them.

"Why?" Mako asked.

"Those guys p-!" The jinchuriki's sentence was interrupted as a rock struck him on his side, sending him sliding back a few feet.

"Look out!" Bolin exclaimed as he took notice another earth slab heading their way, pushing Tonraq aside to allow him to bend up an earth wall, blocking the rock as it burst into pieces. They looked out to see that it was Ghazan who had attacked them, eyeing the group menacingly.

"Oh boy…" Rainbow realized, "This isn't gonna end well…" she noted.

"For them that is," Ben pointed out, then noticed Ming-Hua was standing back up, reforming her watery arms.

"Bolin, wanna help me team up on that guy?" Naruto asked, gesturing toward Ghazan.

"You got it!" the earthbender replied, running off with him after the lavabender, who began hurdling more rocks their way, which they blocked and dodged, letting them shatter into bits.

"You help Korra," Mako told Tonraq, "we got this," he said. Rainbow was about to enter the fight as well, but was stopped by Ben, who placed his left hand on her shoulder.

"Rainbow, I need you to go after Zaheer and help Korra too," he told her, much to her surprise as she blinked in shock, turning around to face him.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," she responded quickly, "You want me to do what now?" she questioned with a surprised raised eyebrow.

"Whatever those guys did to her," the Omnitrix bearer began in reply, "she's not gonna be able to hold them off for long," he said.

"But…" Rainbow tried to say, but looked away sadly, "The last time you trusted me to protect Korra, I blew it," she remembered, "What makes you think this time'll different?" she asked.

"Because I know you can take on Zaheer," Ben responded, "No one's faster than you," he added with a smile, making her do the same, along with a little blush.

"Got it," she replied, jumping up and spinning around, transforming with her magic as her long ponytail, pony ears, and wings all formed with her now sky blue skin. She dashed up through the hole in the ceiling, giving chase to the Avatar and her opponent.

"Good luck," the Omnitrix bearer said, before turning to his side with Mako to see Ming-Hua fully stand up, swinging out her water arms, launching ice shards at the two. They both ducked as the shards struck rock and shattered, and then got up, with the firebender of the two sending fire blasts her way, which she easily dodged, swinging away upon the cave's crystals. "We know how to handle this lady," Ben stated as he tapped the lid of his device, letting the green, circular, holographic screen appear over it. He quickly scrolled through it, sliding the lid open to let the dial pop up. "Time to give her a little Buzzshock!" he exclaimed, slamming it down with his right hand, creating a green flash of light and he transformed, with his body shrinking down. He had turned into a small bug-like alien, who was yellow in color with black eyes and green pupils. He had four stick legs and a beak, along with a big antenna upon his head. He bore the Omnitrix symbol on a green and white brace around his neck.

"Oh," he said, somewhat disappointed as his ally looked at him in surprise, "Well, it… could've been worse, I guess…" he admitted, then spat a green slime from his mouth, using his legs to roll it up into a ball, "Let's go!" he beckoned, speeding off on the plasma goo with his legs to move it as the firebender followed him, chasing after the terrorist waterbender. Meanwhile, Zaheer was flying right out of the cave, as Korra continued to give chase, leaping at great distances to catch up, smashing the ground she landed upon. The airbender then found his way out of the mountainside through a small opening, which the Avatar bashed her way through, bending up two boulders in meantime, sending them hurdling towards her opponent. He airbended, pushing himself out of the way from the large pieces of earth, but couldn't avoid his adversary, who rocketed right towards him by firebending from her feet, grabbing him in the process as he grunted upon being struck. Zaheer regained his balance however while being flown away, grabbing Korra, somersaulting backwards before blasting her away with an air strike. She hollered before bouncing off of the top of a large earth column, then slammed into the side of another one, with an explosion of dust to follow as Tenzin was witnessing the conflict from below. Just then, Rainbow flew out of the hole in the mountainside, noticing a few rocks tumble just above her outside of the exit.

"Whoa!" she yelped, dodging the rocks as they struck the surface, flying away. She looked out to see the battle still raging, as the column that the Avatar had been hit against began to collapse. "Maybe I better not butt in just yet…" the rainbow haired girl suggested to herself, but flew closer toward the conflict, ready to assist her friend whenever she needed it. She was sliding down the breaking earth structure, blasting off of it with firebending from her feet, heading straight for Zaheer, who followed suit, diving down towards her. She leapt from column to column, shooting out fire to jump from each one, regaining her ground before she circled around one while airborne, slicing through the very tip of it with her earthbending. She threw it towards her opponent, who easily dodged it, as the airbending master below continued to watch the fight while the rock struck another pillar.

"Daddy!" a voice called out, getting his attention as he turned to his family, the airbenders, Ash, Pikachu, Natsu, Asami, Lin, Su, and Hinata all coming out of the cave, making him gasp in surprise.

"Oh, thank goodness you're all right," he said in relief as his children suddenly embraced him, causing him to grunt in pain before letting off a little chuckle.

"Honey, are you okay?" his wife asked.

"I'll be fine," he reassured to her, just as the other airbenders walked out of the cave with his brother and sister, setting them down gently on the ground. Suddenly, the whole group heard more sounds of earth cracking, looking out to see the dust building up over the acre of rock pillars.

"Whoa…" Ash said in shock.

"Pika…" his Pokémon agreed. Hinata then activated her Byakugan, letting the veins around her eyes to bulge out as her vision became more focused.

"It's… Korra!" she exclaimed, much to the others' surprise, "And she's fighting Zaheer in the Avatar State!" she added.

"All right!" Natsu said with a pump of his fist, "There's no way that creep's gonna be able to handle taking her on like that!" he noted cleverly. Just then, Tonraq ran out of the cavern, getting the group's attention. He halted himself, seeing the fight go on above.

"We have to help Korra!" he told the group quickly.

"What do you mean?" Ash asked, "It looks like she's giving Zaheer all he can handle," he noted.

"Wait…" Hinata said, getting his and the Southern Water Tribe chief's attentions, "Something's… not right…" she pointed out, focusing even more so on the Avatar's innards, concentrating on her heart, which was beginning to beat slower and slower, making the Hyuga girl gasp in shock.

"What is it?" Tenzin asked upon hearing.

"Her heartbeat…" she began to reply, "…It's… getting weaker…" she told him, making everyone's eyes widen.

"Now we really have to help her!" Ash realized, pulling out a Poké Ball from his belt, enlarging it.

"Hold on kid," Lin beckoned, making him stop before he could throw the containment, "Your furry friends aren't gonna be able to keep up in the fight if it goes on like this," she explained, "And none of them can fly fast enough to catch Zaheer," she added, making the three Team Omniverse members all look on at the fight worriedly, hoping for the best.

"Korra…" the Pokémon trainer whispered, as he yearned for his ex-crush to come out okay. She was still fighting the airbender, about to smash him between the tips of two pillars. But he dodged them, causing them to slam together in a dust filled explosion, with the Avatar bending out three rocks from it, sending them toward her opponent. He dodged again, just as his adversary came down, rocketing off the side of another column with her firebending, letting out a loud battle cry. Back in the caves, a splattering explosion was just barely avoided by Ming-Hua, as Ball Weevil and Mako were confronting her. The latter of the two shot out fire blasts, to which she easily dodged, swinging around the crystal spikes upon the cavern's walls. The two gave chase, as the bug-like alien shot more balls of goo from his mouth towards their opponent as she kept on dodging each explosion.

"Oh, come on!" he groaned, spitting out another to roll on, pursuing her further down the area. Meanwhile, Bolin and Naruto were still brawling against Ghazan, as the earthbender fired two rocks towards the terrorist, the first of which he dodged, and the second he blocked by bending up an earth wall. The jinchuriki then jumped down, about to strike him with a ferocious punch, but he slid out of the way, making him hit nothing but the ground, creating a large crater upon impact. The lavabender then attempted to strike him with an earth column, but the shinobi quickly flipped out of the way, landing upon his feet as he slid across the ground. His opponent then went back to confronting Bolin, firing the earth wall from before right at him. He smashed the wall to pieces, but then his opponent ran up and grabbed him right after, making them both tumble across the ground. The younger of the two regained his ground, throwing the Red Lotus member away. However, he retaliated, firing two rocks towards the earthbender. The ninja then leapt down, bashing the first earth slab with his right foot, and then the second with his left arm. His ally stood up with him, eyeing their opponent in frustration, as he was smirking.

"What are you smiling about?!" he asked angrily.

"I was just remembering the last time we fought," Ghazan replied, turning the ground before him into magma, directing towards his opponents. Naruto gasped, but then saw Bolin run up, swinging his arms around, stopping the lava flow.

"Well," he began, as the jinchuriki was left in shock, "a lot has changed since then!" he exclaimed, firing a few shots of lava toward the terrorist, who jumped away from each blast as they struck the ground. His now lavabending opponent winked smugly, having evened things up.

"So that's how you got out of the temple," he realized, "Not bad," he admitted, "Let's see what you got!" he challenged. But before he could even bend the lava in front of him, Naruto suddenly appeared right near him, about to strike with his right leg.

"How 'bout seeing what I've got?!" he suggested loudly, kicking Ghazan with all of his might, sending him hurdling across the cavern in a holler.

"Nice!" Bolin complimented, running after his opponent with the jinchuriki. Back outside, Zaheer was flying away and dodging more rocks bent out at him. He avoided a few more as Korra managed to catch up by using her firebending, before landing upon on an arch. She propelled herself up, bending up an earth column from beneath to continue pursuing the airbender, firebending to get a little higher before shooting multiple blasts of flames towards him. He dodged them all, then began to counterattack, shooting three air blasts at his opponent. She sped away from the first two, but the third one struck her directly below her chest, causing her to tumble across the ground before sliding to a halt. The terrorist then flew down, just as she was getting back up, zooming past her with an air swipe, knocking her down over the edge of a hill. She attempted to regain her footing as she toppled across the ground, trying to firebend to stay balanced before she eventually hit the surface, groaning in pain.

"Come on Korra…" Natsu begged from afar, hoping she'd win the battle. She got back up, blasting herself after Zaheer again as she bent up a humungous boulder, having it float above her while its shadow covered her opponent, causing him to look up and see her spin around, throwing the boulder right at him. It slammed against a mountain, creating an explosion of dust that he was caught up in. However, the airbender then flew out unharmed, flying back toward the Avatar. She floated down with her firebending and landed in a pool of water on the surface, bending out the liquid in the form of whips, sending shots hurdling towards the terrorist. He dodged the attacks as they zoomed past, but one managed to strike him upon the left leg, causing him to spin around before it froze into ice. He was beginning to lose altitude, and Korra took the chance, blasting herself back at him. He saw her charge right at him as he was attempting to regain his balance, about to struck by her right fist. But suddenly, she began groaning in agonizing pain, grabbing her arm while she tried to stay airborne and continue to fight. She couldn't though, as she fell, crash upon the edge of the mountainside. Meanwhile, her opponent had his chance while he continued to fall, air blasting the ice over and over before it shattered completely, allowing him to fly back up, right in front of the Avatar. She turned around and tried to breathe fire at him, but stopped as the pain kept on lingering, making her keel over.

"You can't fight me and the poison," her opponent stated.

"Zaheer!" a voice exclaimed, getting his attention as he turned to see Rainbow zoom over, kicking him aside with her right leg, sending him down toward the ground while he tumbled through the air. He recovered though, floating steadily as he looked on at his new opponent, while the wind rushed through the open sky.

"You realize you're only delaying the inevitable," he told her, causing her to raise an eyebrow.

"The inevitable?" the rainbow haired girl questioned, "What's that supposed to mean?" she asked.

"AGH!" the Avatar cried out, still under the effects of the poison induced in her body as she squirmed upon the cliff's edge, getting her friend's attention.

"Korra!" she exclaimed, giving her opponent the chance to fly by with a quick air swipe, making her lose balance and crash onto a rock pillar from the force of the air, causing her to grimace in pain before glancing back at the flying airbender.

"Oh, it's on!" she challenged, dashing back up towards him as he began speeding away once again, with both of them leaving the Avatar to watch while they confronted.

"Now Rainbow's fighting Zaheer!" Hinata pointed out as she continued witnessing the fight from afar.

"What?!" Asami exclaimed in shock.

"What happened to Korra?" Tonraq asked out of concern. The Hyuga girl squinted as her vision focused upon the Avatar, who was still on the edge of the cliff, now not moving.

"She's alive…" the shinobi began, "…but she's not getting up…" she said to the group, making their eyes all widen.

"We should get her out of there while we have the chance," Lin suggested. Suddenly though, the group heard more sounds of collapsing rock, looking out to see the rainbow haired girl smash her opponent through a pillar with her enhanced strength, causing it to fall to the ground, and shatter into bits as dust clouds followed.

"Getting caught in the crossfire isn't the best idea right now…" Su told her half-sister, making her grunt reluctantly. Meanwhile, Zaheer grabbed Rainbow as she was holding onto him, throwing her aside, and then fired an air blast in the direction he launched her. It struck, sending her crashing into another rock pillar as her skirt and jacket began to rip. She glanced out at her opponent, looking to see that he was all scraped up as well, with most of his clothing in tatters.

"What did you do to Korra?!" she asked angrily, leaping right off of the rock, about to slam the terrorist with her right fist. He airbended around himself, causing her to suddenly be blown back by the force of the wind.

"Like I said earlier," he began to say, getting her attention as he still floated in midair, "it won't matter if you stop me or not," he explained, "The poison we administered to the Avatar should be taking its maximum effect by now," he added.

"Poison?" Rainbow questioned, clenching her fists even more tightly, "You… poisoned my friend?!" she screamed, lunging out at the airbender again with an even greater rage. He attempted to airbend around himself, trying to redirect her as he did before. However, she cut right through the wind, just as her blue jacket fell off, ramming into her opponent with all her might, pushing him back in midair. They then began exchanging blows, with the rainbow haired girl landing multiple kicks and punches upon Zaheer, while he managed to land a few air blasts upon her. After missing an air swipe, the two charged at each other, with the female of the two zooming towards her opponent as a rainbow-like wake trailed behind her, upon unleashing a sonic boom. They swiped at each other, getting knocked off balance as they both crashed into separate rock pillars after they passed. Back below, the others watched as clouds of dust continued to emerge from the battlefield.

"I can fly up on my bison to help her," Kai suggested as he looked on.

"You'd never be able to keep up with Zaheer," Lin told him, "He's too powerful," she mentioned quickly.

"We have to do something!" Kai exclaimed angrily as he turned around to face her.

"If he were a regular airbender," Natsu began, "anyone could take him on," he noted.

"But he's flying so fast…" Ash added, "There's no way anyone else can fight him!" he said.

"Pika…" Pikachu agreed, as his ears flopped down in worry.

"How can he fly like that?" Bumi asked as he was leaned up by a rock against his sister, who was witnessing the conflict as well.

"He's unlocked powers of airbending that haven't existed for thousands of years…" his brother replied as his eldest daughter sat beside him.

"There haven't been this many airbenders in one place for a long time either," she mentioned to him, "We have power together," she stated confidently, standing up, "Hurry," she beckoned to the airbenders, "everyone form a circle!" she told them, "Follow me," she ordered, getting all of them, minus her father and uncle to gather around her after they ran up to a small, flat platform. She then began to bend a small vortex of wind in her hands, concentrating carefully and having it increase in size while the others created air gusts to make it enlarge even further. As the wind rushed through their hair, the other Team Omniverse members and Asami looked out to see Zaheer emerge from a dust created when he had slammed into a column. Rainbow meanwhile, was about to dash out of her cloud, but was suddenly stopped, noticing that her magenta and white striped skirt was caught between the rocks from her crater.

"Aw, seriously?" she groaned, pulling at it as the terrorist was quickly flying over. She tugged at her clothing to try and unlatch it, but it wouldn't loosen, making her grimace as she saw her opponent about to strike her with an air blast. "Oh, forget it!" she exclaimed, ripping the skirt right off of her, revealing her black spandex shorts. She barely got out of the way of the air blast, and then sped over, kicking the airbender aside with her right leg, causing him to tumble in midair. However, he managed to fire off another air blast at her, and even as she crossed her arms over her head to defend herself, it hit, sending her back a bit before she regained her balance, as did the man she was still facing. She breathed heavily while staring down her opponent, while he glared back with a determined look in his eyes. They then dashed at each other, exchanging blows once again in close combat.

"She's definitely got him on the ropes…" Natsu noted from below while the airbenders were still forming the large vortex, making the wind rush through his hair.

"And she's probably depending on us to get to Korra," Asami added, running off towards the mountainside.

"Hey!" the dragon slayer exclaimed, "Wait for us!" he yelled as he and Hinata went after her. Ash and Pikachu followed as well, with the former pulling out the same Poké Ball from before, along with another one which he enlarged.

"Fletchinder, Hawlucha!" he cried out, "I choose you!" he exclaimed, throwing the two containments up into the air, having them pop open. The light that spilled forth from them formed separately into the Ember Pokémon and the Wrestling Pokémon.

"Lu Lucha?" the latter of the two Flying types asked, surprised to be let out at this instant.

"We need to get to Korra, and slow down that guy up there," he quickly explained to both of them, pointing out the airbender still confronting with Rainbow, "Can you two give us a few extra hands?" he asked them.

"Fletch!" Fletchinder replied, as Hawlucha nodded in agreement. The Fire/Flying type then soared upward, while his trainer, the Mouse Pokémon, and the Wrestling Pokémon all ran after the others, heading for the mountainside.

"HIYAH!" the rainbow haired girl exclaimed as she karate chopped Zaheer at his left hip, making him grunt in pain. However, he recovered, firing an air blast from his right palm right at her, knocking her down against another pillar. Before she could even get back in the air, the terrorist bent up a wind tunnel, forcing her up against the structure completely as it began to crack and rupture from the power of the airstream. She tried to push herself off of the column, but to no avail as the wind kept her at bay. Suddenly, the pillar collapsed completely, just as her magic deactivated in a bright flash of light, with her wings, pony ears, ponytail, and blue skin disappearing while she tumbled down towards the ground.

"RAINBOW!" Asami screamed in horror. However, while she was still conscious, the rainbow haired girl managed to grab onto what remained of the pillar, skidding down as her speed began decreasing. She then fell off though as she lost her grip, landing down hard upon the earth and tumbling across it while more rocks began to bury her in a huge pile. A cloud of dust followed as the group there witnessed with widened eyes of shock and fear.

"No…" Natsu said in disbelief. In midair still, Zaheer breathed heavily as that battle had finally ended.

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt!" Ash suddenly commanded out of anger. The Mouse Pokémon then leapt off of his trainer's shoulder, with his cheeks sparking angrily as electricity enveloped his body. He fired off a massive bolt of lighting towards the terrorist, who quickly reacted and span out of its way, letting it strike the mountainside instead, causing boulders to tumble down upon him. However, he airbended them, redirecting their course towards his enemies below while the Electric type landed back down. They all gasped in surprise, but the Hyuga girl then stepped forward, getting into a ready stance.

"Protective Eight Trigrams: Sixty-Four Palms!" she exclaimed, with chakra streams emerging from her palms, cutting and shattering the boulders to bits at a rapid pace. While she did that though, the airbender zoomed down, catching the eye of Natsu.

"Fire Dragon…" he began, encasing his right fist in flames, "Iron-!" His attack was interrupted as the terrorist flew by with an air sweep, knocking the whole group off of their feet while he sped off.

"Fletchinder, Razor Wind!" Ash ordered after quickly getting back up. The airbender then glanced above him, seeing the Ember Pokémon's wings glow a bright white. He span around, firing crescent-shaped bursts of wind toward his opponent, while he flew out of harm's way, barely avoiding them all. "Ergh!" the Pokémon trainer grunted in frustration, then turned to his teammates, "I'll get Rainbow out of that pile with Pikachu," he told them, "You guys take him down and get to Korra," he said, "Go!" he ordered, turning around as he and his partner headed towards the mass of rocks that seemed to cover the rainbow haired girl.

"Chin Chinder Fletch!" the Fire/Flying type chirped to his allies.

"Haw!" Hawlucha replied, running forward and jumping from column to column, going after the airbender with his fellow Flying type.

"What'd they say?" Asami asked.

"What Ash said," Natsu responded immediately, leaping towards the two Pokémon, while the girls ended up following after glancing at each other for a moment. Meanwhile, Korra was still upon the platform attached to the mountainside, squirming in pain as the poison was continuing to destroy her from the inside. Zaheer began to make his approach towards her again, but was suddenly ambushed by Fletchinder, who charged at him in a flaming aura, grazing him before he sped away, making him cringe a little while the Ember Pokémon's fiery encasing disappeared from his body. "Fire Dragon Roar!" the dragon slayer exclaimed from below, shooting a huge burst of flames from his mouth, which the terrorist barely dodged as he had to zoom away from his target. Just then, he noticed a shadow looming over him, looking up to see Hawlucha come down right on top of him, kneeing him in the back with his glowing white, right leg.

"AGH!" he screamed in agonizing pain, already having been hurt from his previous bouts. The Wrestling Pokémon then had his left arm glow a bright white, about to strike at him again. However, Zaheer grabbed his arm before he could attack, making the Fighting/Flying type gasp as he was flung aside, slamming right into the Fire/Flying type while he had been ready to charge back toward the terrorist, knocking them both off balance in midair. He then somersaulted, firing an air blast from his feet, hitting the two Pokémon down towards the ground. The dragon slayer saw and quickly reacted, jumping up and catching the two in his hands, skidding across the earth upon landing.

"Phew…" he said in relief as he looked to see that the two Flying types were still battle ready. Suddenly though, a gust of wind struck him from behind, knocking him down, causing him to drop the bird-like Pokémon onto the ground. Before he could even turn around to see who attacked him, a flurry of wind gusts rained down upon him, Hawlucha, and Fletchinder, pounding them across the earth while they could not regain their footing. Hinata and Asami ran in and saw that it was the terrorist who was floating above, furiously shooting more blasts down below. The Hyuga girl reached into the holster upon her left leg, pulling out a kunai with a marked tag attached to it by a string. She span it before flinging it toward the airbender, which he took notice of as the tag began to glow. It suddenly exploded, creating a cloud of smoke.

"Did you get him?" the beauteous girl asked as Hinata focused her enhanced eyesight upon the cloud. Suddenly, it dispersed upon a massive wind gust, revealing Zaheer in tattered and ripped clothes, along with scrapes and bruises across his body, but was otherwise fine. The group members gasped as he began to bend up more wind around him.

"ENOUGH!" he exclaimed, sending out a large gust of air toward the whole group below. It caught them all, blowing them back over a few dozen yards in screams and hollers. Meanwhile, Pikachu and Ash were still trying to save Rainbow from the rock pile, feeling an ominous breeze rush by, making the former of the two look back as his ears perked up.

"Pika?" he said, somewhat surprised.

"Stay focused," his trainer told him, making him turn back to see that he was lifting a couple of slabs off of the pile, "Just a few more…" he grunted, grabbing a heavy one. Once he set it down, he noticed a hand out from the pile. "There she is!" he exclaimed, getting his Pokémon's attention as he dashed over, "All right, Pikachu," he began to him, "use Iron Tail!" he ordered. The Mouse Pokémon's lightning bolt tail glowed a silvery white as he leaped, before he struck the rocks with it, making them shatter and reveal a now unconscious Rainbow. The two then grabbed her by the arms, pulling her out of the pile as quickly as they could.

"Pika pi?" the Electric type asked worriedly as Ash set her against the ground, seeing that she was badly bruised from her fight.

"She'll be all right buddy…" he reassured, "And I'm sure Korra'll be okay too," he added.

"Pika…" his Pokémon responded, still worried. Back in the caves, Ball Weevil and Mako were still chasing after Ming-Hua, who continued to swing away from all of their attacks.

"Ergh!" the firebender grunted in frustration, "She's all over the place!" he complained, "I can't get any clear shots!" he added. Just then, she fired an ice shard at the duo, which was countered by the bug-like alien's plasma ball, exploding on impact with the frozen liquid as he rolled it into its intended path.

"You're right…" he agreed, "She's got the home field advantage," he began, "so we need to find a way to turn it against her…" he noted, then took notice of the crystals within the cavern, causing him to widen his eyes in realization, "Keep after her," he told his ally, "I'll tighten things up," he said.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Mako asked.

"Just do it!" Ball Weevil yelled angrily, making the firebender roll his eyes before going back to pursuing the terrorist waterbender. Meanwhile, the bug-like alien tapped the Omnitrix symbol upon his brace, creating a green flash as his body grew, becoming crystalline and pale green while he now stood on two legs, turning into Diamondhead. He saw Ming-Hua about to swing away through an opening between two columns, which would allow to avoid her opponent's fire blasts yet again. However, the Petrosapien slammed his right fist into the ground, and suddenly, crystals began covering the opening instantly, shutting it off to the woman's surprise as she ended up banging against it, and then had to immediately swing her water arms back, blocking a fire blast, but also losing a portion of her makeshift appendage as it evaporated.

"Nice one!" Mako called out in gratitude to the alien as he then slammed his fist against the wall again, closing off more openings with crystal shards, leaving only one for the terrorist to go through while her two opponents stood at it. She cringed in frustration, lunging out at them.

"Let's do it!" Diamondhead exclaimed, forming his right hand into a crystal blade, leaping out at the waterbender while his partner followed, bending fire daggers upon the ends of his hands. They engaged, with the terrorist's makeshift appendages being torn apart and evaporated upon each attack. She jumped away to try and conserve her water, but was greeted by diamond shards, fired from the Petrosapien's left hand, which grazed her as they sliced bits of her hair off. The firebender attacked with a few fire blasts, which came into contact with her watery arms, evaporating them completely. She stepped back, knowing she was cornered. Then, the alien stomped his right foot against the ground, forming a small shard behind her, tripping her as she tumbled down in a holler. The Omnitrix symbol then timed out upon Diamondhead's belt, transforming him back into Ben as he ran over to her with Mako.

"You have no water," the firebender told the terrorist, getting into a battle ready stance, "It's over," he proclaimed as she got back up.

"Not yet…" Ming-Hua grunted. She then suddenly jumped aside, avoiding another fire blast from her opponent, dropping down into a hole.

"Shoot!" Ben exclaimed as he and Mako ran over, leaping down the hole as well, landing into a pond of water in a darkened part of the caverns, "Oh, terrific…" he said sarcastically, "More water…" he noted.

"Be careful…" his ally advised as he lit his hand to see, "She could be anywhere," he told him.

"Yeah, yeah…" the Omnitrix bearer noted out of annoyance, just as his device began to glow a bright green, signaling a completed recharge. He smiled, but then looked up, gasping upon seeing something above him. "Uh… Mako?" he said in fright, getting his attention as he turned to see Ming-Hua right there upon the pond, now with eight large water appendages.

"Now it's over!" she stated, directing her water arms at the two, who began to retreat after the firebender unlit his hand. However, Ben was latched onto by one of the appendages, making him holler as he was pulled away. He quickly slid the Omnitrix lid open, letting the dial pop up for him to slam down upon with his right hand, creating a green flash of light as yellow fur began to grow all over his body. He became a Sasquatch-like alien, having green eyes with black pupils. He had metallic gray circular bolts on both sides of his wrists and on his lower jaw, yellow and black fur, four fingers, and yellow horns over his eyes. The Omnitrix symbol was located upon his green and white belt, the was at his waist. He broke out of the makeshift appendage, coming down with a holler before he latched onto the terrorist waterbender, making her stumble across the water. "Get off me!" she screamed at the Gimlinopithecus.

"Mako!" the alien called out, "Let's let 'er have it!" he yelled, getting a nod in reply. However, Ming-Hua continued to send water blasts his way, causing him to fall back. He then jumped up and positioned himself between two stalagmites, putting a foot on one, while having a hand on the other. He fired a lightning blast from his hand at the water, causing it to spark wildly. Shocksquatch then began generating electricity from his own body, with the metallic bolts upon his body firing blasts of it onto Ming-Hua, making her shriek loudly as the water could not conduct it, thus electrocuting her. Her appendages immediately evaporated, and was then thrown away by her alien opponent, landing against the ground unconscious as the water flowed out over her.

"Whoa," the firebender said bluntly in shock as the Gimlinopithecus splashed down onto the pond, landing on his feet.

"You know," he began, turning to Mako, "maybe we shoulda' done that ages ago, ey?" he suggested, getting a mere nod in reply. Meanwhile, Bolin and Naruto were still confronting with Ghazan, with the earthbender blocking a magma rock from the terrorist with a lava wall. He then directed a flow of lava towards him, which he managed to jump away from, grunting angrily. The jinchuriki leapt at him, ready to strike with his right fist. The lavabender sent out a stream of magma onto the shinobi, but once it came into contact with him, he burst into a puff of smoke.

"Another clone?!" the terrorist exclaimed in shock, turning around, instantly greeted by a powerful punch from the ninja, knocking him back down a few yards as he tumbled. He then glanced back at Bolin, who bent up two earth slabs. The lavabender melted the wall behind him into magma, causing him to drop the rocks as his opponent directed it after him.

"Bolin!" Naruto exclaimed, jumping over and grabbing his ally, leaping with him down a ledge with a loud holler from the earthbender before they landed, somersaulting after he was let go. The jinchuriki readied himself as the lava stream was about to splash down upon them, but his ally quickly reacted, solidifying the magma before it could hit them, making the shinobi smile in gratitude. He then saw Ghazan leap down, landing right behind them as he was prepared to attack with an earth slab. "Not this time!" the ninja exclaimed, forming his left arm into a giant chakra fist, extending it out, bashing through the rock the lavabender had prepared, smashing him against the wall. Suddenly, a fire blast came by and struck him as well, knocking him aside as the duo looked on and smiled, seeing Mako and Ben there, ready to assist.

"Sorry for taking so long," the Omnitrix bearer apologized, stretching out his arms. The terrorist lavabender then stood back up, about to bend a rock out at the two that had just arrived, but the firebender shot another blast directly onto it, shoving it down with him as he fell. He began to use the lava from the cesspool he created earlier, firing streams of it at the four in all directions. They all dodged them, with the alien watch holder sliding open the lid of his device, slamming his right hand down onto the dial that had popped up, transforming himself in a green flash of light. He morphed into a very tall, robotic-like humanoid, having a green and white body. He had large cylinders on his arms, near his wrists, that were full of a green energy with dark green bubble-like spheres, and those were constantly moving upon him. He had the same energy on his Omnitrix-shaped chest as well, with his head being a pointed, armored helmet. His Omnitrix symbol was upon his green and white belt.

"Whoa…" Bolin said in awe. The alien then floated towards Ghazan, who tried to strike back with a few more bent up earth slabs, but they didn't slow him down as he bashed right through, punching the ground right before the terrorist with his right fist, creating a shockwave that blew him back several yards before he landed upon the ground, tumbling across it in a heap.

"What alien is that?" Mako asked out of surprise, as he and his brother's eyes were all widened.

"That's Atomix," Naruto responded as the alien turned back to his friends.

"Come, my allies!" he beckoned in a righteous voice, "Victory is at hand!" he proclaimed. The three of them all ran over towards the lavabender, who stood back, grunting angrily as he tried to bend up more rocks, but ended up taking a fire kick from the firebender, and then a punch from the shinobi, knocking him back even more. The brothers began attacking him repeatedly, with fire blasts and rocks. The terrorist bent up an earth slab to defend himself, but was struck by a rock after his shield had shattered into bits, and then received another punch from the jinchuriki, sending him tumbling down in a heap.

"Give up, Ghazan!" Bolin ordered as he and his brother got into battle ready stances with Naruto and Atomix, "You can't win!" he stated as the lavabender got to a knee.

"I'm never going back to prison," he replied defiantly, standing back up and turning to face them, "If I'm going down today," he began, "you're coming with me!" he exclaimed, punching the ground with all his might, breaking the earth around him as rocks began to fall from the cave's ceiling. He then melted the walls around him, directing the magma downwards as the collapse had started. The alien there put his hands out, firing bright green laser blasts at the falling pieces of earth, incinerating them before they could hit.

"We need to get out of here!" he shouted to his allies.

"Right!" Mako agreed about to run off, but was suddenly greeted by a lava blast from the terrorist, which he barely dodged as it struck the ground.

"No one's going anywhere!" he proclaimed, making the brothers grit their teeth in frustration. Naruto looked out and sighed, then formed a chakra arm on his right shoulder, placing it over his hand. A Rasengan began spiraling upon it, much to the surprise of Ghazan as the shinobi stared out at him.

"You asked for it," he stated before leaping out towards him in an instant, appearing to have vanished. The lavabender frantically looked around for the jinchuriki, but he then appeared right in front of him, ready to strike. "RASENGAN!" he exclaimed as he hit him with the jutsu right on his chest.

"AAAAGGGGHHHH!" the terrorist screamed in unbearable pain. He then was flung back, right into one of the melting walls, smashing through it. The Rasengan dissipated in the shinobi's hands, as the others were in shock at what he had just done.

"Dude…" Bolin said. Suddenly, more rocks and crystals began to fall from the ceiling, prompting Atomix to blast them to bits with his laser beams. "Mako, hang on!" the earthbender yelled as he created a platform underneath himself and his brother, which rode right out of the area. The robotic humanoid soon followed, flying up to them as Naruto jumped up as well. They all turned to see the cave completely collapse, before running off, heading for the entrance. Suddenly, the ninja's eyes widened, causing him to stop as he had sensed something, getting the others' attentions.

"What's wrong?" Mako asked.

"It's… Korra…" he responded, somewhat in shock, "… I can sense her chi getting weaker…" he told them.

"What about Rainbow?" Atomix asked. The shinobi's eyes shook with worry, but he closed them, focusing carefully.

"She's okay," he said to the alien, making him sigh in relief, "But I can't say the same for Korra…" he noted.

"Well then, come on!" Bolin beckoned loudly, running off as the other three followed. Back outside, the rainbow haired girl's eyes began to open, seeing Pikachu and Ash there with her as she was lied against the rocks.

"Pika Pi, Pikachu Pika!" the Mouse Pokémon cried out upon noticing her awake, getting his trainer's attention.

"Rainbow, are you all right?" he asked as she sat up, arising with a start as she gasped.

"Wh-Where's Korra?" she asked weakly, rubbing her left shoulder in pain.

"She's all right," Ash reassured, "My Pokémon, Natsu, and the others are taking care of that flying airbender guy," he explained. The rainbow haired girl then looked out to see Zaheer swipe by something in the distance, causing it to fall down towards a plateau. She realized that it was the Avatar, who struck the earth hard, barely able to even stand up.

"I have to save her!" she exclaimed, getting on her feet immediately, but then grimaced, going down to a knee.

"Hold on!" the Pokémon trainer said, putting a hand on her shoulder, "You've taken enough of a beating from that guy," he noted, "Let the others handle it," he advised.

"But… I…" Rainbow began, slowly standing back up, "…I promised Ben I would protect her…" she said, clenching her fists tightly.

"Rainbow..." Ash realized, standing up.

"Pika?" Pikachu said in surprise after his ears perked up.

"Something the matter buddy?" his trainer asked. Suddenly, wind was beginning to swirl around, catching their attentions as they turned to see the rainbow haired girl getting up into a ready position as the air began moving faster. "R-Rainbow?" her friend stuttered in shock as he and the Mouse Pokémon stepped back. All of a sudden, her magic reactivated, with her wings, pony ears, and blue skin all forming. With that though, the bottom her eyes developed lighting bolt marks that stretched out diagonally, and were upon her knuckles as well. Her hair began flowing with energy, just like an actual rainbow as it streaked down to her ankles, without a ponytail, and her wings brimmed with power, shining in multicolored light too. Her eyes glowed a bright white as she then dashed upwards in an instant, much to the surprise of Ash and his Pokémon while dust blew by them.

"Pika…" the Electric type said in awe.

"No kidding…" his trainer agreed. Meanwhile, Korra was squirming as she tried to get back on her feet, but Zaheer zoomed by, sweeping her off of the plateau, causing her to land on another ledge with a grunt. He then flew back at her, knocking her off of the ledge as she smacked against the mountainside, tumbling down it before she began plummeting into the ravine below. However, she managed to airbend and cushion her fall, just before she landed on the peak of a rock column, stopping at its edge as she lay there, almost completely unconscious. The airbender then approached from above, as she was all but able to continue fighting.

"The poison has done its work," he noted, "The Avatar Cycle will be over momentarily," he stated, then began bending the air around her, setting her up on her knees as the wind swirled over her body. Her head was encased in a sphere of air, which started to suffocate her as it sucked away her oxygen.

"Korra!" Natsu screamed from below as he approached the column with Hinata, Asami, Hawlucha, and Fletchinder. As the terrorist was about to deliver the final blow, he felt a strong gust of wind rush by, getting his attention as he turned to see a large vortex approaching him. In the meantime, Mako, Bolin, Naruto, and Atomix had made their way out of the cavern, having to shield themselves from the powerful gust as it was right near them.

"What are they doing?!" the alien asked loudly as he covered his eyes from the leaves and dust that blew by.

"I dunno!" Bolin responded over the wind. They all saw that the airbenders were still at work, with Jinora in the eye of the tornado as she was keeping it together, using her airbending. Upon being distracted by the vortex, Zaheer's hold on Korra had ended, as she began to tumble into the tornado from its wind force. He flew after her and grabbed her before she could fall in, trying to zoom away, but the vortex's suction pulled him in, causing him to lose his grip on the Avatar, having to hold onto her by the shoulders, and then her left arm as he grunted. He continued to attempt to no avail, finally letting go while the chain upon her right arm had been unwrapped. He began to fly off out of the vortex, but suddenly, the Avatar flailed the chain around, catching him by his right ankle.

"Ergh!" he grunted, still trying to fly off, but could only move mere inches as Korra held him down tightly.

"He's not budging!" Bolin noted over the wind.

"What should we do?" Mako asked. Suddenly, they all heard a booming sound echo throughout the canyon, looking to see multiple shockwaves trailed by rainbow-like wakes coming closer and closer to the tornado.

"Is that…?!" Naruto began to ask as his eyes widened in shock. The terrorist then looked up to see Rainbow just above the tornado's eye, brimming with energy.

"Rainbow Dash?" Atomix said in surprise. She then reeled herself back, and suddenly zoomed down with another sonic boom, echoing like a blast of thunder as she she positioned herself right before the airbender.

"TAKE THIS!" she exclaimed, punching Zaheer in the gut with her right fist, using all of her might. He cringed in pain, giving Korra the chance to reel him in, smashing him against the ground on his backside while she landed upon her own two feet, making a crater of the earth she hit. The vortex then dissipated as the airbenders ceased it, while the rainbow haired girl still flew above.

"What… was that?" Mako asked out of complete disbelief.

"I believe that was her rainbow power," his alien ally replied.

"Huh?" the firebender questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"It's something she has," Atomix told him. In a bright flash of light from above, the rainbow haired girl's magic disappeared, as she began plummeting down to the ground. The others gasped, but the robotic humanoid quickly flew out, catching her in midair. He gently floated down while the Omnitrix symbol upon his belt began to beep, landing on the ground as he held her in his arms. The device finally timed out, transforming him back into Ben in a green flash of light.

"Rainbow…" he said, going down to his knees as he saw the scrapes and bruises upon her body. He grabbed her right hand with his left, intertwining their fingers as he looked away in denial, thinking that she was lost forever. Suddenly though, he heard a slight cough, causing him to immediately turn and see her open her eyes, looking right at him with a small smile.

"You were right…" she admitted in between breaths, "Drama makes everything exciting," she said. Tears of joy began welling up in the Omnitrix bearer's eyes, but he immediately wiped them away, chuckling a little.

"I knew you could do it," he told her, giving her a warm, comforting embrace, which she instantly returned.

"Guys!" a voice called out from afar. The rest of the group looked out to see Natsu, Asami, Hinata, Ash, Pikachu, Hawlucha, and Fletchinder all run over. Korra then let out a slight moan before keeling over, prompting Jinora and Ben to go to her. At the same time, Zaheer was attempting to get back up with a groan, but was suddenly trapped in an earth shell, bent up by the Beifong half-sisters. Tonraq, Naruto, Mako, Bolin, Hinata, and Asami then went over, with the former of the group going down to hold his daughter in his arms while she was still conscious.

"Korra. Sweetheart," he said, "It's me," he told her, "Dad," he stated, touching her left cheek with his hand, "Please hang on…" he begged as she looked up at him. She then reached out to him with her left hand, but fainted, closing her eyes as her appendage fell into his own. Tears welled up in her father's eyes as everyone else looked on in shock.

"Korra…" Ash said, sniffing sadly as he turned away.

"Pika pi…?" Pikachu asked, starting to cry a little. Tears were beginning to fall down Hinata's eyes as well, as everyone else looked on with worry. Zaheer however, cackled at his supposed victory, getting the others' attentions.

"What are you laughing about?" Lin asked angrily.

"You're too late!" the terrorist exclaimed in response, "The poison has been in her system too long," he explained, "The Red Lotus has won!" he stated.

"Poison?!" Natsu exclaimed in question.

"Yeah…" Rainbow replied with a grunt as Asami held her up, "If only there was a way to get it all out…" she added, holding her hip in pain.

"Wait a sec…" Kurama began to realize, getting Naruto's attention from inside his head.

"What is it?" the shinobi asked the tailed beast.

"That poison was administered by a bender…" he noted, "And before he attacked us, he was about to earthbend," he added, making the jinchuriki's eyes widen in realization.

"Wait!" he cried out, getting the others' attentions, "The guy who gave her the poison was an earthbender!" he exclaimed, "It's gotta be some kinda metal or something!" he added, making the Red Lotus leader cringe. Su then ran over, going to a knee as she placed her right hand on Korra's forehead, and her left upon her shoulder. Suddenly, a green flash of light caught her eye as she turned to see that Ben had transformed into Lodestar, running over to the Avatar as well.

"If the poison's metallic," he began, "it should be magnetic too, right?" he noted in question.

"Well, I suppose," the matriarch responded quickly.

"Let's work together Su," the Biosovortian told her, making her nod as he concentrated the ferrokinesis from his pincers, slowly moving them towards Korra's head. The metalbender worked as well, pulling the poison up away from her limbs through her systems, as everyone else looked on in worry. The two then moved their appendages over her face, and suddenly, her eyes shot open as the metallic substance exited through her mouth, causing her to cough as they tossed it aside, letting it land on the ground with a slight splash. With her eyes back to normal, she looked over to see her father, grinning with joy.

"Dad..." she breathed, "You're alive…" she said out of happiness.

"I'm here for you," Tonraq told her, embracing her tightly, "I'm never gonna let you go," he stated. Meanwhile, the Omnitrix symbol on Lodestar's chest timed out, transforming him back into Ben.

"Nice work," Su complimented, making him smile.

"No…" Zaheer said, "No!" he exclaimed, "You don't understand!" he told the group, "The revolution has already begun," he continued, "Chaos is the natural order of a-!" Before he could speak any further, Bolin shoved a sock into his mouth, gagging him.

"See what I did there?" he asked the group rhetorically while he held his right shoe in his hand, "I put a sock in it," he said, "literally!" he added.

"Classic Bolin…" Opal noted jokingly.

"I do what I do," the earthbender responded. The airbender spat the sock out, sputtering before he spoke again.

"This is far from over!" he exclaimed, "The world's already been thrown out of balance," he continued, "and no one can stop chaos' reign!" he shouted.

"Yeah…" Ben agreed sarcastically, walking up to him, "I've seen chaos creeps like you for ages," he told him, "But that doesn't mean I'll back down from bringing balance," he stated, "And neither will my friends," he noted, turning to them.

"You'll regret this…" Zaheer grunted.

"And you'll regret messing with our team," the Omnitrix bearer responded, "We're a force that no one can stop, no matter what you do," he stated. The terrorist only replied with an angered glare, before Bolin shoved his sock back into his mouth.

"Not a bad speech…" Rainbow admitted as Ben walked over to her and Asami, "Though you should've just turned into Rath and mauled him," she suggested, much to his surprise as he blinked. But he then chuckled, making her laugh as well.

"You've got a crazy mind for someone who's gonna be my girlfriend," he told her, causing her to cease her laughter and widen her eyes in shock, as did the girl that was holding her.

"Wait, what?" she said, allowing the beauteous girl to let her go as she stood up, "You want me to be your girlfriend?" she asked after realizing.

"Isn't that what you wanted?" Ben asked back.

"Well… maybe at first…" Rainbow admitted, "But, you know… things got kinda crazy… and, uh…" she continued, blushing a bright red, "I… uh…" she stuttered, trying to keep her cool, "Uh… yes!" she suddenly exclaimed, embracing him tightly, making him grunt a little in surprise.

"Heh, heh," the Omnitrix bearer laughed as he hugged her back, "You're certainly something special," he told her. Just then, the heard the sounds of a few coughs from Korra, prompting them to look over.

"Ben…" she breathed, "…It's about time…" she said with a grin, making him sheepishly blush.

"Yeah," he admitted, "It sure was…" he noted, looking back at Rainbow as the danger had ended completely.

X

A few weeks passed as the sun shined over Air Temple Island, with cries of birds being heard across the wind. Inside a room in one of the buildings, Asami took a hairpin from her lips, inserting it into Korra's hair, which was now styled with a bun.

"There you go," the beauteous girl said, "All fixed up for a formal Avatar appearance," she told her, getting a mirror and placing it in front of her friend's face, "Take a look," she advised, making the Avatar glance at the reflection of her face, with tired eyes while the wind whistled through the window that was also before her.

"It's great," she responded, "Thanks," she said out of gratitude, but in a downcast tone. It turned out she was sitting upon a wheelchair, wearing a blue dress. Asami then went over to side of it, looking into her eyes as she kneeled down next to her.

"You know," she began, "nobody expects you to bounce back right away," she noted, "It's only been two weeks," she added, "You need time to heal," she told her. Korra just glanced at her expressionlessly, having been devastated from what had happened. Her friend then grasped her right hand in comfort. "I want you to know that I'm here for you," she said to her, "If you ever want to talk," she continued, "or, anything," she told her, "But let's just try to enjoy this today," she advised, "for Jinora," she added. Suddenly, the two heard the door sliding open, looking to see Ash there with Pikachu upon his shoulder.

"Uh… is now a bad time?" the Pokémon trainer asked, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

"Not really…" the beauteous girl replied, "But if you're here to ask Korra out, since Ben officially got rid of the dating rule," she began, "I think you're probably gonna be disappointed," she advised with a little smirk, standing up as Ash blushed a bright red.

"N-No!" he stammered, "I'm just here to make sure she's all right," he told her, looking at the fatigued Avatar, "We've barely talked ever since Harmonic Convergence… and, uh…" he stopped as Asami turned her around, allowing her to face him.

"Pika!" Pikachu exclaimed as he jumped onto Korra's lap, making her grin a little as she petted him on his head, "Cha!" he cooed in delight, causing his trainer to smile.

"I know you'll get back on your feet eventually," he told the Avatar.

"You're right," she responded, and then breathed deeply, "Okay, let's go," she told Asami. The Mouse Pokémon jumped off of her lap, and crawled onto his trainer's shoulder. They all walked out of the room, as the beauteous girl wheeled her friend. Outside on the beach of the island, Gingka was sitting down upon the sand, looking towards the coastline of Republic City, holding his goggles in his right hand.

"Let go your earthly tether…" he remembered before standing back up. He glanced out the horizon before reeling his right arm back, about to through the goggles into the sea.

"You don't need to do that," a voice said, causing him to cease his action and turn around to notice Hinata right behind him.

"Hey," he greeted, "I'm guessing you know what that was about…" he said, putting hands at his hips.

"Mm-hmm," the Hyuga girl replied, "I understand that you're relationship with Skyla was… difficult with Ben's dating rule," she began to explain, "and that those goggles are a part of that long distance relationship," she noted.

"Now that the rule's gone, I don't need to worry about that anymore," Gingka responded.

"But weren't those goggles a gift from her?" Hinata questioned, making his eyes widen in realization, "To tell the truth," she began as her face turned a little red, "I'm making a present for Naruto," she admitted, "to convey my feelings and my gratitude," she added.

"So you're saying these goggles were given out of Skyla's feelings for me?" the beyblader asked, getting a simple nod in reply from her, causing him to crack a smile, "Thanks," he said in gratitude, "By the way," he began, "how's Korra been since the whole battle against the Red Lotus?" he asked. The Hyuga girl turned away for a moment, unable to bear the thought of reminiscing the moments her friend had been through.

"She's… still not out of the wheelchair yet," she told him, "But it hasn't been that long…" she noted reassuringly, letting Gingka smile.

"Come on," he beckoned, walking away from the beach as he placed his goggles around his neck again, tucking them under his scarf, "The ceremony's about to start soon," he noted, leaping up the cliff face with his teammate following him. Meanwhile, the airbenders were all beginning to gather into a single building upon the island, while atop it, Naruto sat upon the ledge, contemplating as he looked out at the city.

"I still think they would've found a way to poison her," Kurama said from inside of the shinobi, "They were relentless warriors, willing to do anything to make sure she was done for," he added, but didn't get a reply from the jinchuriki while the wind rushed through his hair.

"Hey," a voice greeted, getting his attention as he turned his head to the side, seeing Rex sit down next to him.

"Hey…" he responded, still downcast, "What's up?" he asked.

"Not much," the evo replied, "except for the fact that I scored a date later tonight," he told him with a sly look.

"A date?" the ninja questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah," Rex responded, "I'm going out with that Kuvira girl from Su's army," he admitted, "And Gingka said I had no chance with her," he added smugly, "Oh, is he gonna be surprised…" he wondered with a grin.

"Heh," Naruto chuckled, "Lucky you," he said, looking back out at the horizon as more people entered the building he was upon.

"What's the matter?" the evo asked, noticing his zoned out look.

"Huh…" the shinobi sighed, "If I'd stopped those Red Lotus guys back at the caves, Korra wouldn't be in the situation she's in now," he explained, "I'm starting to think that it was my fault she was poisoned…" he added. Rex glanced at him with a serious look in his eyes, pondering the thought of it.

"I bet we all wish none of this happened," he guessed, standing up on the ledge, "Korra being poisoned, the air temple being destroyed, and the chaos in the Earth Kingdom," he listed off, looking to see her approaching a crowd of people, with Asami wheeling her in her wheelchair as Ash walked beside her.

"And now that all this danger's over," Naruto began, "what's next?" he asked, getting a grin in reply from the evo.

"Guess we're gonna have to find out," he responded, jumping down, and then formed the Boogie Pack upon his back, using the turbines to slow himself before he reached the ground, morphing it away before he walked inside. The ninja jumped down and followed inside, just as the Avatar approached the group, which consisted of Ben, Rainbow, Rook, Lord Zuko, Bumi, Kya, Tenzin, Pema, Rohan, Meelo, Ikki, Lin, Su, President Raiko, Tonraq, and her mother, Senna.

"There she is!" the Omnitrix bearer said with a smile. The former Fire Lord bowed in respect to her, to whom she nodded back. Her mother then ran up and embraced her, getting a hug in return from her daughter, stroking her hand across her face as her husband walked up.

"You look beautiful, sweetie," he told his daughter after his wife ceased her embrace, allowing him to kiss Korra on the forehead.

"You're looking stronger everyday, Korra," Tenzin added.

"Everyone's really excited to see you too," Rainbow chimed in, who was now wearing sport shorts rather than her spandex and her striped skirt.

"I'd like to officially welcome you back to Republic City," the president told her as he walked up to her, "I know that the last time we saw each other, it didn't end on the best terms," he remembered, "But I want to thank you for taking down those Red Lotus terrorists," he said out of gratitude, only getting a mere blank and depressed stare in response from her.

"Hey, Ben…" she began to say, getting his and his girlfriend's attention, "how's the relationship gone so far?" she asked, making him blush.

"Heh…" he laughed, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head, "Well, it hasn't exactly been perfect…" he admitted.

"But we're having a lot of fun!" Rainbow chimed in for her boyfriend, taking hold of his left hand with her right, "And I'm really happy to be with him now," she admitted, causing him to blink in surprise, but smile before he planted a kiss upon her forehead, making her giggle. She then looked to see the surprised, but smirking faces of Asami and Pikachu, compelling her to turn away with an embarrassed blush.

"Uh… shouldn't we go inside?" Ash asked.

"Oh, yeah," the beauteous girl agreed upon realizing. Just then, Ikki ran over beside her, grabbing one of the handles of the wheelchair.

"I-I can help," she quickly stammered as her younger brother came over, leaping onto Korra's lap.

"I want to ride with Korra," he said, as she held on to him, smiling a little, "Jinora's already inside," he told them, "Smells like shoe trees," he added as they were wheeled up to the foot of the stairs to the ceremonial hall.

"Sandalwood, Meelo…" his sister sighed, just as Lin came up to them, noting that the Avatar's wheelchair wouldn't make it up the stairs that easily.

"I got this," she said, bending the floor around them, then put a hand on Korra's shoulder out of sympathy, "Hang in there, kid," she told her before bending the earth beneath them up the stairs like an escalator.

"She's… not looking good," Raiko noted.

"Hey!" Rainbow shouted.

"Neither would you if you'd gone through what she had," Tonraq said to the President.

"She'll be fine," Tenzin reassured, halting any form of verbal conflict, "She just needs time to heal," he noted, "The poison took a great toll," he told them.

"Of course," Raiko agreed, "I'm just saying, with the Earth Kingdom in complete disarray since the loss of the Queen..." he noted.

"And even with Zaheer locked up again, we still don't know how many Red Lotus members might be out there," Zuko explained, "hiding," he added.

"Exactly," Raiko responded, "With the world getting more and more dangerous," he began, "we need the Avatar now more than ever," he admitted, "Who will protect us while she's in a wheelchair?" he asked as the airbending master stroked his beard.

"Mister President," Ben chimed in, getting their attentions, "we'll be the ones to help protect this world," he proclaimed as he stepped up with his girlfriend and his alien partner.

"You will?" Tenzin questioned in surprise.

"Of course," Rook responded, "While Korra's recovery may take some time," he began, "we will be sure to help restore balance to the world," he stated.

"Because we're more than just a bunch of multiversal teammates," Rainbow added, "We're friends," she said, taking a tighter hold of her boyfriend's hand.

"The Omni Force isn't gonna let this world go to ruin," Ben proclaimed.

"The… Omni Force?" Raiko questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Our new team name," he Omnitrix bearer replied, "Figured we could use a few of our own changes," he added, getting a grin in reply from his girlfriend. A while later inside the ceremonial hall, incense sticks were burning as Air Acolytes and many guests had seated themselves, ready to witness the event. Lin, Su, Bolin, Mako, Raiko, Rex, Naruto, Hinata, Gingka, Natsu, and Pema stood on one side of the stage, while on the other side, Tonraq, Senna, Kya, Bumi, Rainbow, Ben, Rook, Ash, Pikachu, Zuko, Asami, and Korra were stationed. The airbenders were all standing on stage, with Jinora in the middle, now wearing a yellow hood to cover her entire body.

"Jinora, come forward," her father beckoned. She bowed and walked over, kneeling down beside him. "Today," he began to the crowd, "we welcome the first airbending master in a generation," he said, "And I couldn't be more proud of my daughter," he added, getting her to look up and smile at him, "When the existence of our people was threatened," he listed, "when the Avatar's life hung in the balance," he continued, "Jinora never gave up hope," he told them, "Thanks to her leadership, I see a very bright future for the Air Nation," he said, "Of course, there would be no Air Nation without Avatar Korra," he mentioned, "she opened the portals and somehow the world began anew for us," he told the crowd, "And she was even willing to lay down her own life in order to protect ours," he added as she looked on with saddened eyes, "There's no way we can ever repay her for all she's done," he noted, "But we can follow her example of service and sacrifice," he said, "So while she recuperates," he began, "the Air Nation will reclaim its nomadic roots and roam the earth," he stated, with all of the airbenders gathered behind him, "But unlike our ancestors," he continued, "we will serve people of all nations," he said, "working wherever there is corruption and discord to restore balance and peace," he explained, "Avatar Korra," he began, turning to face her, "I vow that we will do everything in our power to follow in your footsteps and bring harmony to the world," he said, bowing to her, having her bow back with a small smile, "Now," the airbending master began, going over to his daughter, "let us anoint the master who will help lead us in our new path," he stated, removing the hood of Jinora's coat, revealing her shaven head with the arrow tattoo. She then removed the coat completely, revealing the others upon her arms. The airbenders began bending out the smoke from the burning incense sticks, having them swirl upwards, and sounding off the wind chimes on the ceiling throughout the hall. The new airbending master embraced her father, who hugged her back as the audience all clapped. Meanwhile, a single tear rolled down Korra's cheek, as her life had completely changed forever.

END

That's it. "Change" is finally completed, and the world will never be the same. In other news, we'll be getting to the scenario soon. But first, a couple of questions I think you'd might like to ask.

Q: Are you going to continue this series by going into Book 4?

A: Sadly, no. I admit, it would be nice to make a Book 4 fanfiction. But considered how long I took to get this one done, it wouldn't exactly benefit me to do it.

Q: What ideas do you have for the future?

A: A couple actually. Besides "Outlook" and "Compassion", I'm thinking of doing a Pokémon/Equestria Girls crossover. I might get into the details later, but for now, I can say that there'll be Ash X Fluttershy, and Ash X Serena moments.

So, with that put aside, let's continue the scenario series!

SCENARIO:

Dean Ambrose: Well, it looks like we won't be seeing each other much after this war is over.

Ben: We know. Sorry to say that Korra's not in the best shape to step in the ring.

Asami: It's gonna be a long while before she's fully recovered.

Ben: So for now, I guess I'll- *Hinata suddenly comes in with Rook*

Hinata: Wait!

Ben: Hinata? Rook? When'd you guys show up?

Rook: Just now.

Hinata: Ben, I wanna take Korra's place.

Ben: I don't think that's such a good idea.

Hinata: You know what I'm capable of. Please, I wanna do this for her sake.

Naruto: Yeah, let her tag in Tennyson! Hinata's one of the strongest girls I know!

Hinata: *blushes out of embarrassment*

Ben: All right. That sound okay to you guys? *Cena, Reigns, Ambrose, Ziggler, Ryback, and SpiritReaper42 all nod*

Rainbow Dash: Welcome to the dream team!

Roman Reigns: -punches the wall- I had one chance at Wrestlemania 31. I suffered a beating from Brock Lesnar with lots of suplexes and 4 F-5s. I took that beast down with 4 Superman Punches and 2 Spears.

Dean Ambrose: That scumbag Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase during the match, making it a Triple Threat Match, and cheated his way to pin Roman and took the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Bolin: This Rollins guy sounds the real baddie of the bunch…

John Cena: -holds the United States Championship around his waist- Yup, that was a stupid way to end a main event.

Natsu: Hey, what's that?

John Cena: This, my friends, is the Unites States Championship. I'm now a four-time champion since I took out an anti-American Russian named Rusev. Rusev had been mocking and disrespected our great country but I whipped his butt and brought this title back to the U.S.A.

Natsu, Rainbow, and Naruto: Ooh…

Dolph Ziggler: Both me and Ambrose, along with Luke Harper and 4 other superstars did fought in a ladder match for the Intercontinental Title but Daniel Bryan manage to win the whole thing but it's fine with us. Nothing personal, we both wanted that title, nothing else.

SpiritReaper42: The last champion is a guy named Wade Barrett but because of his so-called bad news, he calls himself Bad News Barrett.

Asami: Bad News Barrett?

SpiritReaper42: He goes like this... -fake British accent- I'm afraid I've got some bad news!

Ryback: And then there's me, Erick Rowan, Kane, and Big Show competing in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal for the Andre the Giant memorial trophy -drinks a protein shake- But Big Show pulled it off and won.

Rex: Awesome.

Dean Ambrose: But enough about us. You five need to have your eyes set on that 5 on 5 elimination match.

Rainbow Dash: Right!

Roman Reigns: Don't worry about the outcome, we have ways to make this match safe... so to speak...

John Cena: A special guest referee is what we're gonna need...

SpiritReaper42: Don't worry... I got it covered... -teleports to the zone-

Ben: Whoa!

Ash: How'd he do that?

Dolph Ziggler: Give him a minute...

SpiritReaper42: -teleports- I'm back.

Pikachu: Pika pika?

SpiritReaper42: The special guest referee happens to be a nine-time Intercontinental Champion, former tag team champion, World Champion, and the first ever Undisputed WWE Champion. Y2J known as Chris Jericho!

-a song called "Break the Walls Down by Adam Morenoff" as a man with a referee shirt, black pants, black boots, and spiked blond hair as he walks in the ring-

Natsu: Whoa… this guy looks like he's ready to go.

Chris Jericho: I'm doing pretty good. Had a great time with my band Fozzy, since I'm known as The Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla. And as a wrestler I'm also known as The Best in the World at What I Do! And I mean Everything I Do!

-Big Show and Kane walks down to the ring with Show's theme-

Rex: Uh oh.

Naruto: Here comes the competition…

Rainbow Dash: *glares at the wrestlers*

Big Show: Now before the rest of our winning team comes in, we've gotta tell you about some problems concerning Brock Lesnar.

Natsu: And we should let you know that Korra's outta this match. But Hinata here's gonna be her replacement.

Hinata: Um… hello… *waves nervously*

Kane: Since Lesnar lost the WWE World Heavyweight Title to the Future of WWE Seth Rollins, he's gone out of control, and ended up assaulting an innocent Cameraman, commentators Michael Cole, JBL, and Booker T. Due to suspending Lesnar, he won't compete in this match... permanently...

Rex: So what does that have to do with us?

Big Show: We're gonna give the five of you one chance to walk out of this match. If not, then I'll knock each and every one of you out with my right giant hand. Starting with Rex and Rainbow Trash.

Rainbow Dash: Oh, ho, ho. You're picking the wrong girl to mess with.

Rex: And the wrong evo. We're not backing down.

Kane: Big mistake. I might not be as frightening as I used to be, but I'm still The Devil's Favorite Demon. Mask or no mask, nothing will change that.

-a song called "The Second Coming by CFO$" started playing as two men in a suit, one with hair and beard while the other is bald, and a man with dark hair with blond on his right side, a beard, wearing tight black leather vest and pants with a substantial silver belt, black boots, black gloves and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship around his waist, walking down to the ring-

Ben: That's a new face…

Gingka: Doesn't seem like a good one though…

SpiritReaper42: That's the guy who Triple H and Stephanie McMahon calls the Future of the WWE. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins.

Dean and Roman: -glare at Rollins with hate and anger-

Ash: Seems like you guys have a grudge against him... or something…

Pikachu: Pika…

John Cena: Believe me, those two thought Rollins was their friend... until he turned his back on them.

Dolph Ziggler: He got lucky to get away with taking that title at Wrestlemania, but he won't keep it around his waist around him.

Ryback: Doesn't matter who takes that championship from that scumbag, as long as he'll lose.

Rook: Agreed.

Seth Rollins: -looks around the ring and has a smug on his face- So this is the group who we'll be facing? How pathetic can they be to think that they can beat us?

Rainbow Dash: What was that?!

Seth Rollins: Let me tell you this, especially you Rainbow Dash. You been wasting your time training with guys like them who can't even beat me, especially by themselves. I am the Future! I am the WWE World Heavyweight Champion! I took down Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns and have made my Wrestlemania moment!

Roman Reigns: -runs to the ring but is stopped by Ryback and John-

Bolin: Dude… That is messed up…

Mako: Yeah…

SpiritReaper42: This was supposed to be Roman's year for winning the Royal Rumble. And those two guys with Rollins are J&J Security. The bald one is Joey Mercury and the other is Jamie Noble.

-Luke Harper walks down to the ring with his theme song playing-

Natsu: Look who else decided to join the party…

Dean Ambrose: Harper can be more dangerous when he's not in a good mood. Trust me, we know...

Dolph Ziggler: Been there plenty of times...

-the flashing images come on as the lights go out with Bray Wyatt holding the lantern along with the repaired Omniversal Wyatts behind him, with Wyatt's theme was playing-

Rainbow Dash: And there he is… Finally…

Naruto: We better be ready for this…

Chris Jericho: Being in a match with Bray Wyatt is no piece of cake whether you win or lose...

Ben: Definitely.

John Cena: Bray Wyatt can be deadly when he's angry. He might even be angry now, since he couldn't beat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

Ryback: No matter the outcome, it couldn't change how dangerous that freak is...

Bray Wyatt: -blows out the lantern as the lights went on and walks in the ring with Team Wyatt, leaving Omniversal Wyatts outside-

SpiritReaper42: Well this is it. The final match of the war...

Natsu: What's the big game plan? Who's going in first?

Hinata: I'll take the first fight. *everyone else gasps in surprise* I'm only gonna try and test their strengths until I need to tag one of you in.

Naruto: Okay.

Rainbow Dash: Let's win this and get it all over with.

Roman Reigns: I understand that you can't guarantee, but if one of you sees Rollins tagged in the ring, hurt him... and I mean hurt him till he's out of the match permanently. I know I'd want to do so. Believe... That!

Rainbow Dash: You got it.

-Hinata then jumps into the ring, activating her Byakugan-

END SCENARIO

Don't be alarmed folks. The scenario stories will continue into the future fanfics of "Outlook" and "Compassion". But with this one done, I'd just like to say thank you for all the kind words and support upon this story. It's the longest one I've ever written next to "Rainbow Rocks: The Omniversal Crossover", but it certainly won't be the last. Many more story ideas will be on the way, and I hope you'll enjoy them all.
