Hey guys~! Sorry for taking so long to update all my stories! I just had a lot of shit happening but I'm sure I got it under control now. Anyways, this little hiatus gave me the opportunity to read my stories thoroughly and I noticed that in most of them the sentences are jumbled or the English is poor. So As I update them I will revisit some chapters and re type them. So keep an eye out!
Now on with the next chapter of Queen of the Pirates!
Luffilia gave a soft sigh as she watched the waves lap at the small boat she and her first mate sat in. She could hear Zoro's stomach growling, the need for food strong, much lik her own. The food that there given was not rationed well and Luffilia ended up eating most of it. Zoro reprimanded her on that but she had scolded him back about eating just as much and not stopping her. Zoro blushed slightly at that, knowing why he didn't bother to stop her from eating.
"I'm hungry..." Luffilia whined out softly as their stomachs growled once more in unison. Zoro grunted in agreement as she stared up at the sky.
"Huh... looks like a bird." He mumbled.
.
.
.
"Eh?!" They both cried out as they stared up at the large bird. Food was the first thought that came to mind but they were reminded that the creature was flying and they were bound to watery surface.
"How are we suppose to catch a flying bird..." Luffilia mumbled and almost instantly wished she hadn't. Zoro could only stare at what happened next.
A powerful gust of wind swept Luffilia's legs out from under her and shot her straight up into the sky, to the bird. Luffilia's shriek of surprise pierced through the moving winds that seemed to move around Zoro and fuel the upward current.
"Huh... that's one way..." He mumbled watching her ascending figure.
With Luffilia...
"I hate you so much!" She cried out as the winds continued to throw her up to the bird that was most definitely much larger up close. "Stop!" Luffilia shrieked as she flailed her arms around widely. As the winds died down to keep her afloat, preparing to lower her, the bird's attention was already turned onto her. Luffilia blinked as it stared at her before lashing a talon out and grasping her firmly. Luffilia blinked, her mind taking a few seconds to comprehend what just happened. "HELP ME!" Luffilia called out to her first mate as she tried to wiggle her way out of the birds hold.
Luffilia was limp in the bird's hold, having given up on struggling after 5 minutes and sighed when she lost sight of Zoro a while back. The bird was definitely flying to land so there was that. The wind around her as swirling apologetically as she pouted.
"I'm glad you know this is all your fault." She grumbled and received a gust that slapped her hair into her face. "It is your fault!" She hissed as she closed her eyes as a stronger gust hit her in the face. "I didn't say to do anything!" She argued. Huffing she looked around and saw the bird just cross over the beach of the island and the town below. "Huh we made it..." She mused before a sound reached her ears. Blinking she turned her head and they widened when she saw something travelling to the bird and herself. "Oh mother of-" She was cut off with the cannonball making contact with the bird and exploding. The bird gave a pained cry as it let go of Lufilia and they both went tumbling down to the town below. "AAAH!"
Luffilia righted herself up and the air around her legs glowed as winds gather around them. Falling she landed heavily on the ground, in the middle of a street of the town, her legs coated in the white energy absorbing most of the impact but her legs still felt tingly.
"Let's no do that again..." Luffilia mumbled as she straightened up and dusted off her clothes. Looking around she noticed she had an audience. 'It's her...' Luffilia thought as she recognized the orange haired girl from Alvida's ship. Looking to her other side she saw of some circus themed pirates. "Hmmm...?"
"A-Ah! Boss!" Luffilia raised a brow as she looked back over to the orange haired girl. "Nice of you to step in! I'll leave them to you then!" The orange head said as she patted Luffilia on the shoulder and ran off. Luffilia had the feeling she was just forced into something.
"Ah she's getting away!"
"But we have her boss! She should take responsibility, right sweet heart?"
Yep, Luffilia was definitely forced into something.
I know it's not long but don't worry Next week's chapter will be much longer definitely! Again sorry for the long wait!
