Author's Note: I really like where this story's going, though I've only got the first chapter done. I haven't gotten anyone to beta it for me, but it's been through all the spelling and grammar checks anyone could ask for! The idea came from a story I'd read earlier, but it's going in a completely different direction. Stories tend to take on a life of their own, and that's what I love about writing.
