Sorry to say this isn't another chapter but a disappointing authors note. But I'm talking about something important so please bare with me.

My view on this story has changed quite a bit from my initial writings. I still haven't given up on in and will finish it but I've realized several new things. like how this story has been going on for almost 4 years. When I started I was a junior in high school and now I am a U.S. soldier currently deployed overseas. I think it's a bit of an understatement to say that my life has changed drastically.

Second I've realized that the Wings of Fire series has progressed FAR beyond this story's timeline (and honestly that gives quite a blow to my motivation) and now my story feels rather irrelevant.

And lastly I've accepted the fact that it is taking me a ridiculously long time to update this thing and quick updates are not going to happen. I've followed a couple stories that have also taken long stretches of time between updates and even though I love the story and I love reading it but after so long I forget the story by the time it updates and I find it so frustrating to have to re-read everything just to progress the story a little bit more. I'm sorry for putting you all through this same thing. So I have a plan to change that.

I'm putting this story on Hiatus until I finish writing it. Every single possible chapter left including the epilogue. And then post it all in one go to complete the story. I have no clue how long this will take and my only hope is that by doing this I can save this story of mine and all my hard work from a bitter fate and make the end result worth the wait. But it would be fair to no one to continue as it has, painfully dragging it out.

So I ask that you respect my decision and wait for the full and final update to come.
