A/N: Hey guys I'm sorry for updating after a long time. But I am trying to work though my writers block I had and still have at the same time. I don't like a day or when I'll update again but updates will be random and most likely be once a month unless I can get another chapter out before then. Anyways this is a filler chapter. just adding two new characters, one was an unknown character and this new one has been in the story but not as much. Also if anyone has any questions, and also thank you all for reading and reviewing this story it means a lot. But someone asked me when I will have this story done, will I want to say before 2017 along with my gossip girl story. Anyways one with the story.

Chapter 24

Angela looked around and noticed that something was wrong. Her boyfriend was acting weird and she knew what he was. Yet she wasn't sure what he was going to do. She has gotten a letter from Sarah, her cousin, but she couldn't believe that her life was in danger. Angela looked down at the twins, a girl and a boy, they were what she was living for.

"Mare I'll protect her from Mai, but I have a strange feeling that Mai knows that I am double crossing her. I've seen strange birds outside," Said Alec.

"I'm sorry cousin, but I am trying to stop her. The king has goblins out and about trying to find her," said Mare.

"Okay Cousin. I'll be your spy but I really love Angela and the kids. I know it started out me protecting her when Mai was banished from court but its changed. I love her and please let them know them know that I am trying to protect her."

"I will. I got to go. Kept the crystal close in case I call again," Mare said.

Angela sighed and knew what was going on. Alec told her everything and she knew that Sarah was in the underground with everyone. Toby was doing a lot better and Sarah was now learning magic which is rare for someone like her.

Angela looked in the mirror at noticed that her dark hair and blue eyes matched her cousins, but Sarah has brown eyes where as Angela has brown. Soon Alec walked in and said, "I know you heard everything but if worst comes to worst we'll need a plan. I know you don't want to go to the underground but it might be for the better if things get anymore worse."

Angela sighed and said, "I know. I just hope that Sarah can see that I have changed along with Robert because of the fact that we are family and when I was younger I was bit wild until I had the twins."

Toby

Toby stared into the crystal and he knew what he was doing was wrong, but he wanted to check in on his cousin. He couldn't believe that his cousin already had protection and that Mai was behind everything. Toby placed the crystal said down and looked at Jareth and said nothing. He knew that Jareth had seen what he just saw.

"Toby I think now is the time we stay quiet what we do in this study. I know you want to tell your sister but we must get the facts first before we do something stupid. I know that you know what I mean," Jareth said.

"I know. I'm just worried. I know I can use crystals like you can, but I don't know what to do. Mare, Mai's sister is trying to protect us and yet Mai will stop at nothing to get to you. I know that by my sister running the labyrinth and winning is the true queen of the labyrinth and of the goblins and what not. But I still don't get why Mai wants to be queen? Or why she's doing all of this?" Said Toby.

Jareth sighed and said, "Its because long ago Mai's family were once the rulers of the high court and also the goblins until the heir of the thrown was killed. The thrown is always passed down to the sons, where as the daughters are not allowed to take over. Somewhere along the history of my family it is said that two members of the low branch of royal family tree ran the labyrinth and they were chosen to rule, but they needed to be married and have a child. Every since they had their child, Mai's family has been trying to win the heart of the male heirs and each time they failed. Mai failed because she tried to run twice. The first time was before you were wished away and the seconded time was after you sister ran the labyrinth and won you back but also became my rightful queen. As it stands in the eyes of the law you are my next heir until your sister has a male Heir and if she doesn't then you shall rule the labyrinth and the goblin city until Sarah and I parish or take over the high court."

Toby sighed and said, "I understand why now. But when will we stop them?"

"Soon Toby, soon. Now I believe that the seamstress would like to see you for a fitting of your clothing for the wedding. I'm not sure when it will be but I have a feeling it will be soon." Jareth told him.

"I will go now then. Jareth take care of my sister and don't forget I might be younger than my sister but I will try and break you if you hurt her in anyway. I love her and I don't want to see her get hurt by anyone, even if they are a king," Toby said.
