"Lu-chan, what time is it?"

I yawned. I folded my arms on the desk and laid my head in between. Sleep is much needed. Sleep…I just want to sleep…

"It's…time…for me to hibernate…" I would have blacked out a second later if it weren't for Levy's high-pitched screech.

"LU-CHAN!"

"…ow."

"Seriously, what are you doing here in the first place? I still have work to do you know?" Peeking at Levy through my folded elbows, I scoffed.

"Right, because rereading Fifty Shades of Grey is definitely something you call 'work'." I mocked, twirling my pen in my fingers, although I can't see it. "Naughty Levy, NAUGHTY."

"Shut it." I heard her say. "Its not like what you're doing is any better, you should be signing contracts right now! Fire departments need all the help they can get, the weather's been abnormally hot you know?"

"I know, I know. Geez, it feels like Natsu and I switched roles." I sighed and looked up at her, frowning. "Plus Natsu didn't tell me where he placed them, and before I left this morning the idiot's still dreaming about spicy fried chicken."

"Oh? But isn't it your responsibility to wake him up, as his wife?"

"I didn't want to be late and his door was locked, and I still haven't forgiven him about getting us involved in that stupid auction, and besides," I smirked, mischievously rubbing my palms together, "seeing that poor look on his face when he gets punished, oh ho ho, I wouldn't pass that priceless opportunity after what he's forced me into, hehehe…"

"Hai, Hai," Levy patted me twice on the head before she shook hers at me, "Don't involve me in with your sadistic fantasies." She tapped my nose and pushed her glasses up her nose before she went back to reading her book. "Anyway, Lu-chan, about the auction…"

"Yeah, what about it?"

"How do you think would Gajeel react if, you know…he found out about m—us, being involved in that?" Levy stammered, and I couldn't help but giggle at how cute she looked hiding her face in the book. "Y-You know, with how he's gone and all, and with h-how he'll be coming back at the day of the FT anniversary…"

"You look adorable Levy,"

"T-That's not what I asked!" She yelled at me to which caused her to reveal her blushing face.

"Well, you're adorable nonetheless." I pinched her cheek and stood up. She can be so cute sometimes. "No wonder G-ron loves you~"

"H-He does not! A-Anyway what about you a-and Natsu?! You just got married didn't you?" To which I stiffened, Levy slowly grew a smirk. "Ha!"

"Shut up Levy…" I warn, pinching her cheek again.

Since the wedding thing was only between Natsu and me, I decided not to tell Levy about it, which was disappointing and tempting to do. I loved Levy, she was my best friend(other than Natsu), I never, and I mean EVER, kept a secret from her, and same to her with me. She was like a sister to me, I keep feeling guilty about not telling her.

And also another reason…she keeps using it as a weapon against me. I swear if she isn't swooning over the ring on my finger, she's sticking her right eye to it in case I do anything she wouldn't like.

I'd say the same with Erza, but she was really just more on the swooning part.

"Lu-chan, don't you love Natsu?"

That took me by surprise, since she just suddenly asked out of nowhere. I stiffened, "It's not that I hate him…"

Levy sighed and just smiled at me. "Which means you do love him." I blushed, that is DEFINITELY more than wrong!

"Levy-chan, shut up."

She merely giggles and says. "Lu-chan, no matter what you may think and say, two people will always be loyal to their significant others. So when marriage comes, denial will always be futile against the special care and bond you two acquire. For poorer or for richer, in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live, that care and bond must never die. Let your love grow Lu-chan, just be proud of it." She smiles. "Ne, Lu-chan, take care of your husband. Okay?"

I scowled, knowing full well that my face has taken the color of a tomato. How am I supposed to tell Levy the truth now when she just said those kind words? If only it were real I would have acknowledged those words fully, but it's not. At least, I'll prove it isn't.

…goddamn it.

I sighed. "Whatever."

Me and Levy talked a bit more while she worked, well it was more like I was half reminding her to work and half distracting her. Fifty fifty, something like that. I'm bored and Natsu isn't here for me to blame the empty office fridge on…I'm not guilty, I swear.

When it was finally time for Levy's break, we both set out at the break room. I've finished organizing the files Natsu abandoned since ages ago so I needed quite a break too. Hey, I might be lazy but I know my limits, work comes first when it comes to the office.

"Lu-chan, I've been meaning to ask you this for a quite a while now but…HOW LONG HAVE YOU AND NATSU BEEN DATING?!"

I didn't really process what she said at first, probably because there was a sandwich with jelly hanging off her mouth and I found it funny, but it didn't really take long for me to realize when I saw her big brown eyes wide with curiosity…

…and everyone else at FT crowding around our break table with just as wide eyes as her.

Curse you and your big mouth Levy.

"Lu-chan~ Don't even try escaping!" Levy warned, I'm trying so hard to focus on her threats right now and not the jelly dripping into her work shirt. "Come on, this is juicy stuff! You wouldn't get married without dating first would you?"

No, actually, that's what actually happened…against my will. I could have said that, but I chewed on a munchkin instead…slowly.

Levy snatched it away and threw it somewhere. "Nuh-uh, no stalling Miss Dragneel!" She held my hands excitedly and Elfman even had the nerve to carry me on his shoulder. Great, even more attention. I JUST WANT MY MUNCHKIN! "Now, spill the beans!"

Oh god, NATSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! GET ME OUT OF THIS MESS! FUCKING HELL!

"We're waiting Lu-chan,"

"Um," fuck you Natsu, "I guess maybe um," and your goddamned bedridden body, "Uh, a month ago…maybe?"

"Errr, fine! If you don't wanna tell us when it started then so be it! BUT!" Levy raised a finger…not a good sign! NOT A GOOD SIGN! MAYDAY MAYDAY! "Tell us how you two met! Last time I remembered, Natsu was the one who brought you here right? But he never told us how he found you and so did you!"

"Um, uh, ahaha, Levy—"

"Nope! You are not getting out of this one! Tell us how you met!"

"I guess you might as well tell us Lucy, we never really knew how Natsu got you here two months ago and now you're both married," Erzaaaaa! "I guess we might as well have the right to see how all these started."

"Yeah Lucy! Tell us!" Mirajane cheered.

"We deserve an explanation!" Levy raised a fist. "TELL US!" I shrunk as everyone started to raise theirs with her.

"TELL US! TELL US! TELL US! TELL US! TELL US! TELL US—!"

"FINE! GODDAMN IT!" I yelled over their cheers. God Natsu, what have you gotten me into? Not only was that time embarrassing, but it was also stupid and idiotic!

It would have been acceptable if Natsu were to tell it but noooooooooo, he just has to be home, face flat on the bed with his butt up.

I sighed in defeat. "Fine…"

"…and that was how we met."

"Wow Lu-chan…just…wow." Levy's eyes started blinking in a daze.

Erza nodded almost in the same state as Levy. "That was…surprisingly romantic…in a fluffy sense…"

"NATSU'S A TRUE MAN!" Elfman exclaimed, tears flowing out of his eyes non-stop. Asuka, Bisca and Alzack's daughter laughs at him.

"You'll flood the whole building you big crybaby! Ahihihi!"

I watched as my fellow workers, and family, cry and swoon at my story. Like seriously what's wrong with them? It wasn't even THAT interesting…not that you'd want to know anyway. (Who am I talking to?)

"Anyway, Lu-chan, don't you think you should check on Natsu right now? What if he has woke up?"

I scoffed. "What do I care about that pink blobbed idiot."

Incoherent words sprang out of my mouth like a waterfall as I stomped through the streets of Magnolia, walking towards my new 'home'. I scowled, all because I told them about how we met they just start to get all sentimental and send me the guilt train just so I'd go check on that idiot. Bastards, I'll get them back next time!

After taking a cab, I stood in front of the gates to ou—Natsu's house and pushed them open. Now standing in front of the porch, I looked around. His car's still in the garage…what? That idiot hasn't woken up yet? Bullshit! Oh when I get my hands on him I oughtta—!

I was about to finish that thought when I felt something wet splat itself into my head.

"What the—?" I slowly took the 'thing' that fell to my head and examined it in front of me. It was…a wet tissue? Where the hell would this come fro—holy crap IS THAT SNOT?! EW EW EW EW! I frantically let go of it and pat my hands all over my head just in case some of the snot got into it. "Ewe w ewe w…" I repeatedly said.

I didn't notice the light sneezing sounds from upstairs until I finally paused from my cleaning session. Looking up I saw the window to Natsu's bedroom—so that's where it came from—and stood there dumbfounded.

Natsu…is sick?

.

.

.

…without knowing it my mouth made it's way to form a sinister grin and I laughed darkly to myself. Oh what oh what should I do? Should I throw him off the valley while he's too weak to fight back? Or maybe I should poison his food so that when he eats to nourish himself he's actually just sending himself to death? Oh! Or maybe…have him be claimed for suicide? Oh yes yes.

Ok, sadistic thoughts go away.

Seriously though, I thought as my hands went up to my hips, what should I do? Should I just stay at work then have him pretend he was never sick at all when I get home or…?

…no, no I can't do that. He'll think I care for him or something! I can't afford to fall for his plans. Besides, I don't really care about him anyway…

…I don't care about him do I?

…yes…maybe…no…

Argghh goddamn it Lucy don't fool yourself into believing him!

"Achoo!" His voice echoed from the window. I flinched, he sounded…really, really sick.

What should I do?!

"Lu-chan,"

I stiffened.

"no matter what you may think and say, two people will always be loyal to their significant others. So when marriage comes, denial will always be futile against the special care and bond you two acquire. For poorer or for richer, in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live, that care and bond must never die. Let your love grow Lu-chan, just be proud of it.

"Ne, Lu-chan, take care of your husband. Okay?"

"…"

…Goddamn it Levy.

"…Lucy…" The bastard says as his mouth forms into a grin. "Did you really…achoo! …just…skipped work…for me?"

Thankful that I put on a mask to cover my horribly red face, I slapped him up the head. "Shut up Bub and sleep, or I'll make you swallow this soup along with the bowl. Now just rest!" I command him, adjusting the pack I had put on his forehead. "You're lucky that a pharmacy's just not so far away from here. Now look, just rest while I fix your medicine alright? I can't have your annoying sneezes disturb my focus!" I paused, then added, "N-Not like I'm doing this for you or anything…"

"Fine, fine…thanks Luce…" He grins at me again and I scoff, hurriedly running outside along with his meds. But just as I shut the door he shouts after me.

"I love you Wifey!"

Annoyed at the upcoming question that's rising in my head I yelled back, "JUST REST YOU BLOODY IDIOT!"

Why am I smiling?
