Chapter Twenty-Six, Coronation and the Wedding
It has been two weeks since the war ended and two weeks since Evelina had given birth. Frodo and Sam were both finally fully recovered from their ordeal of travelling to Mordor by themselves when they had learned Evelina had given birth they rushed to go see her and her babies.
They were extremely happy that her babies were healthy after being born two months early. Once Andromeda had discharged them they spent most of their time with their friends learning what had happened to them after they left and getting to know Teddy again along with his siblings, Teddy was extremely happy to have all of his uncles with him again. During the two weeks the rebuild of the City had been completed and it was once more safe to walk around the City.
All of the injured had been healed and there had been a number of funerals for those who had perished in the siege on the city. Thranduil had also come up from The Greenwood to come and seen Evelina and his grandchildren. Much like his son, Aragorn and Haldir, Thranduil treated all four children as if they were all his own flesh and blood and spoiled them rotten which eased Evelina's mind as all her children were loved equally. Now though, it was Aragorn's Coronation he was to be crowned King of Gondor. Her father and Papa had been crowned the Kings of Rohan and would be giving her away at her wedding that was being held after Aragorn was crowned.
Evelina wasn't allowed to see any of her mates until she was given away. She was dressed in the most beautiful Elven dress she had ever seen. It was a sweetheart neckline off the shoulder pure white dress that faded into light green at the bottom. Lily was dressed in a cute white dress with a matching headband, Logon in a little grey and blue suit styled baby grow and Leo in a similar one but in brown and white. Teddy was dressed in a navy suit with a white shirt underneath looking very handsome. Evelina's hair was left in its natural curls down her back with a golden corvette with small sapphires along it showing she was the Princess of Rohan.
As the ceremony started she stood between her dads slightly behind them hidden by bangers of Gondor. Teddy standing slightly in front of her, Lily in her arms and Leo and Logon in Andromeda's and Neville's arms who stood on either side of her. Eoywen and Eomer stood on the other side of Neville and Luna was standing with Boromir and Faramir.
Evelina watched proudly as Aragorn kneeled before Gandalf and Gimli (who was holding the crown on a cushion), tears shinned in her eyes as she watched Gandalf lower the crown onto Aragorn's head. "Now come the days of the King," Gandalf called out his voice ringing out to all who'd gathered. "May they be blessed." Gandalf said as he smiled at Aragorn. Aragorn let out a small sigh as he stood turning around to face his people his eyes briefly searching for Evelina even though he know she was hidden from his view as everyone cheered for the new King.
"This day does not belong to one man, but to all." Aragorn says softly as the cheers died down. "Let us together rebuild this world, that we may share in the days of peace." He continued eliciting another round of cheers. As the cheers went on white blossom petals were blown around them off of the trees as Aragorn started to sing the most beautiful Elvish song.
When he finished the song he walked down the steps Gimli beside him and some guards behind them. As he passed the people of Gondor Boromir, Luna and Faramir smiled and bowed to him Aragorn smiled and bowed back to his friends as he continued to greet his people. Legolas and Haldir cane forward smiling at their friend, Haldir in bluish-white clothes she Legolas in silver-white clothes the rest of the Elves from Imlardis, Lothlorien and The Greenwood behind them. They nodded their heads to Aragorn as the three of them put their hands on each other's shoulders making a triangle formation. "Hanon Le." Aragorn greeted his friends.
Legolas and Haldir shared a smirk confusing Aragorn as their eyes flickered to the people of Rohan. As he faced them they bowed and nodded their heads to him, Aragorn smiled at Sirius and Theodred who smirked pulling away the banner behind them revealing Evelina and their children. "Daddy." Teddy fried pulling Aragorn's attention away from Evelina where he was starring awe struck at her, a blush forming on her cheeks from her mates attention.
"Teddy." Aragorn smiled at his son hugging him close. "You look very handsome Teddy and so do your little brothers Leo and Logon."
"Mummy looks pretty and Lily does too." Teddy said seriously.
"Your right Teddy," Aragorn said kissing his sons head. "Mummy does look beautiful and so does your sister." Aragorn agreed passing Teddy to Legolas when the young boy reached for his Papa.
Once Haldir was holding Lily safety in his arms. Aragorn pulled Evelina into a passionate kiss spinning her around in his arms as everyone clapped happily for their King. Evelina reared her head against Aragorn's rubbing her thumb on his cheek bone smiling and sharing sweet little kisses. When the two pulled apart she repeated the same kisses and affection with both Legolas and Haldir.
The four of them continued to greet everyone until they came across their dear friends. Frodo, Sam, Merry And Pippin started to bow to them when Aragorn raised a hand stopping them. "My friends," he said gently. "You bow to no one." He said as he, Evelina, Legolas and Haldir bowed to them causing everyone to turn and bow to the four young Hobbits. The four young Hobbits became very embarrassed and overwhelmed at the large amount of people bowing to them especially Frodo.
After they finished greeting all of their people it was time for the wedding in the gardens with Gandalf presiding over it. As Sirius and Theodred gave their daughter away they had tears shinning brightly in their eyes at just how beautiful she looked. Once the wedding ceremony was over another ceremony took place crowning Evelina Queen of Gondor and Legolas and Haldir were named consorts.
That night the celebrations went on for hours as they not only celebrated the end of the war but also the joining of four great Kingdoms. Peace and prosperity rained in Middle Earth for the first time in years. And for the first time in history all of Middle Earth was united as one thanks to the five works travellers. Gondor and Rohan were untitled stronger than they ever had been before she both human kingdoms were tied indefinitely to their Elven counterparts more closer than they had ever been in a never ending, un breaking bind. Thanks to the marriage of Evelina to Aragorn, Legolas and Haldir along with their children ensuring the future of all the Kingdoms. The future of Middle Earth had looked brighter.
As the days pass into years peace rained absolute in Middle Earth the longest it had ever been. With the peace Evelina, Aragorn, Legolas and Haldir welcomes three more children into the world and to Lily's delight she had two more sisters and one brother. Nessa, Aragorn's daughter who was the perfect mix of both her mother and father and she was a witch and Dunedain blood like her brother Leo. Alatariel, Haldir's daughter looked exactly like him with his blonde hair but with her mother's green eyes and Kitsune, witch blood. Her last child was Beren Legolas' son who looked exactly like his him with his elven blood and eye colour but he had his mother's hair and like his siblings he was also a wizard.
During the same year as her second lot of children were born, Luna and Boromir welcomed in a child as did Neville and Eoywen. Luna and Boromir had a little girl who was half elven, a witch like her mother and her blonde hair and the rest was all Boromir they named her Pandora after Lima's mother. Neville and Eoywen had a little boy who was the mix of both of them and they called him Theoden to honour the late Rohan King.
For the first time in years everyone was happy and content as the fourth age of Middle Earth began bringing about the new era of peace and prosperity as they watched their children grow safe, happy and loved not knowing of the horrors their family had faced only through the tales that were told. And the Fellowship and all the Kingdoms of Middle Earth thrives and were eternally bound by love and friendship. And though the Fellowship were no longer needed they were content and were quite happy to live in this new era of peace as they watched their children thrive not knowing of the wounds this world held nor the old prejudices that were once held. They were proud their children held none of that only love and friendship.
End of story!
