Blaine lay on his bed for a long while after Sam left before he rolled upright and picked up his phone from where it was resting on the bedside table. Once the screen was unlocked, he flushed. The camera was still open and clearly he'd taken a picture of Sam's abs at some point.
They were nice abs…but that wasn't something he should be focused on.
Closing the picture, he saw that he had several text messages, from Kurt, Rachel and Cooper.
Kurt: BLAINE DEVON ANDERSON ANSWER YOUR PHONE!
Kurt: WHAT IN PRADA'S NAME WERE YOU THINKING?
Kurt: DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW EMBARRASSING THIS IS?
Kurt: RACHEL AND I HAD ALREADY SET OUR STATUSES TO 'HEADING TO PARIS' WHEN SANTANA GAVE US YOUR LITTLE MESSAGE
Kurt: YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HUMILIATING IT WAS TO HAVE TO CHANGE THAT STATUS
Kurt: I'M NOT MOVING OUT OF MY APARTMENT. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO ASK ME TO DO THAT
Kurt: YOU'RE BEING A CHILD BLAINE
Kurt: NOW I'M GLAD WE DECIDED NOT TO GET MARRIED
Kurt: HOW DARE YOU ACT ALL OFFENDED!
Kurt: I'M THE ONE STUCK HERE IN THE CITY WITH PEOPLE WE KNOW!
Rachel: Blaine how could you leave Kurt like this?
Rachel: I thought better of you. Don't be petty.
Rachel: Call Kurt now
Rachel: Are you seriously trying to kick Kurt out of his home?
Rachel: That's going way too far!
Reading Kurt and Rachel's just made him mad, so he clicked over to Cooper's.
Cooper: Hey Squirt U okay?
Cooper: Kurt keeps calling and texting me
Cooper: U really dodged a high pitched bullet there
Cooper: Let me know you're okay when U get this
His brother was the only one he intended to respond to.
Blaine: I'm okay Coop
Blaine: hungover
Cooper: Good for you
Blaine: Don't remember getting to the hotel
Blaine: Do remember hot model on the plane
Cooper: Yeah, rebound?
Blaine: No, but I think I might have embarrassed myself
Cooper: ?
Blaine: I have this on my phone
Blaine: (Posts picture of abs)
Blaine: Pretty sure those are his abs…
Cooper: GO get him, Squirt!
With a chuckle, he set down the phone before rising and rooting around in his bag for the charger.
A much needed shower came next and he stood under the hot water until he felt human again…human and hungry. Dressing, he wandered down to the hotel restaurant and ordered a light lunch. That was just what he needed and, by the time he was done, the idea of wandering outside seemed like a good one.
Sunglasses on, he made his way down to the beach and began to walk along the water's edge. The area by the hotel was quite busy, but 15 minutes down the beach was far more secluded and private…save the camera crew and models.
"Hey!" One of the models was Sam, who was waving and grinning at Blaine. He clearly wasn't in the current shot and jogged over to Blaine. "You're looking more alive now!"
"Yeah, thanks," Blaine agreed with a chuckle, trying not to be too obvious about looking over all the bare skin on display. All Sam was wearing were a small pair of swim trunks. "A shower and breakfast did wonders. This is the job you're here for?"
Sam grinned. "Yup! Take some pictures and them I'm on vacation…you wouldn't want to do something later? Grab dinner maybe?"
For a moment, Blaine wondered when he had fallen into wonderland…but then realized it had been around the time Kurt had left him standing there at the altar. Returning Sam's grin, he nodded. "I'd like that…I'll try to be better company than yesterday."
Waving a hand, Sam made a noise, "Dude, you get a pass for a lot what with the whole…left at the wedding thing. You need some fun!"
Blaine was willing to bet this was going to be a lot of fun….
