A/N:
Um... This is inspired by the song No Apologies, by Sum 41. Somehow, the first bits just fit Izayoi so perfectly, and this was born.
It's pretty short, and I haven't decided if it should stay a oneshot. Should I continue?
Takes place in Izayoi's world, when he was a kid and before he met Canaria.
I really hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.
oOoOoOo
No Apologies
"He's uncontrollable."
"He's far too wild."
"He's dangerous."
"Izayoi-kun is out of control."
"He's a malicious demon."
He's heard all of these before. All are excuses, really. All are basically people's way of saying that Izayoi will not be a quiet, mindless tool, will not obey all their commands. They are basically other ways of saying that they are afraid of having such a powerful child on the earth, with no way to leash him and make him obey.
Should he obey them? He does not want to. Izayoi does not want to be their tool.
They fear him, but they do not respect him.
They fear him, so they choose to reject him, to shun him, ignoring the problem and hoping that someone else will take care of it.
That's what Izayoi is, to them. A problem. A problem child, something too powerful to exist in the world with no way to restrain him, to limit his power.
He is a victim, really, a victim of fate, a victim of the world, given this power and made to use it or die.
Because of his abilities, he is rejected, attacked, persecuted.
Without his abilities, he will die by the hands of the people after him.
It's a vicious, cruel cycle, stemming from nothing more than his being born with inhuman abilities.
He will not make excuses. He will not blame others, or try to worm out of it.
He is a monster, a demon, a creature not accepted by society.
So? Should he be sorry? Should he apologise for being born the way he is?
Some say he should, but he will not. He refuses to.
The people - stupid, really, with feeble minds that are incapable of understanding - are afraid, simply because they do not know what he is, they reject him for what, rather than who, he is.
Izayoi chooses, instead, to detach himself.
He is forced to live in the world. Fine.
But he will not conform. Desperation is useless. Misery is not cure. Self-pity is pathetic.
He'll have fun in this world, entertain himself and enjoy it as well as he can, enjoy it as much as one can enjoy a place so boring.
He is hopeless, people say.
Well, fine.
He's heard it before.
They can say what they wish, but Izayoi will not apologise.

I really hope you like it, and that it is clear and understandable. Is it confusing? Please let me know what you think so I can change it and fix it up!
Thanks for reading!
God bless!
