A/n: Well, I have no excuses. All I can say is, I am really sorry for the delay. I hope someone out there is still reading this stuff. I will try to be more regular and frequent here. Need to finish this story.

Robin had to be careful. It was not too late yet. If she could just defeat him, he would most probably know the antidote for the poison and he could tell her. She hoped he would. Otherwise everything would be hopeless. She was just getting ready to incapacitate him with her powers.

"I see you have found me already." A voice came from behind as Robin, startled, turned immediately around.

Standing there was Chronos with a leather jacket hanging loosely on his shoulders showing his bare chest and wearing military cargo pants. His hair was jet black, tied in large bangs hanging around his head. His face had a grin more suited for the children who had just been caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

"It was just as well. I was afraid you would." He said with a non-chalant shrug. "Yours had been the most complicated human mind that I had ever tried to manipulate. Even so, I never really believed you would be actually capable of breaking through the enchantment." He said chuckling.

Robin had jumped back in surprise when she had found him behind her. How did he come behind her? Did she just forget him coming behind her?

Someone who could manipulate memories of the immediate as well as the long term was the scariest opponent Robin could have ever imagined. How far does his power extend? How strong were his enchantments? Could he...wipe out her memories? All her information about the poneglyphs, Raftel, the void century. It didn't matter. What mattered was...

He might be capable of wiping out her memories of her beloved crew.

No...that wasn't possible. In a titanic effort of self control, she harnessed her panicking mind. It would be no good if she became unsettled. That would be the worst thing she could do when fighting against an enemy who has powers over the mind. She needed to force herself to think logically.

If he could have wiped out her memories of her crew, he would have. But he didn't. What does that tell her about his powers? That he cannot go that far into her mind? No, she could remember him since the early days of the crew. So that wasn't true. The conclusion is that he can only manipulate memories involving himself. He can inject himself into other's memories. That was his power.

"I see, you have figured it out. I can see it in your eyes." Chronos said pointing his fingers at her. "My, you are smart indeed. But that doesn't matter does it? By the time you find out fully about me, you will already be a vegetable. Haha.." he said grinning. "It only takes me a moment to exert my powers after all!" he said.

"Do you think we can't defeat you?" Robin asked venomously.

"You can't." Chronos told her with simple confidence. "Nobody can. My powers are just too perfect. My opponents cannot see me coming. By the time they figure out what I am. They would be defeated. Those who know of my powers..I simply wipe their memories of me. It is easy as pie. Nobody knows what I am or what I am capable of. It's defeating my opponent though which is the troublesome part. It takes effort to melt the brain from inside with my powers." He explained it to her.

"As you said, I am smart. I will figure out a way to defeat you! What you told me is more than enough for me." Robin exclaimed as she used her powers and hands sprouted around Chronos, trying to snap his neck.

"Heh. Could you even try?"

And just like that, she could hear the noises around her again. Others shouting, the battle raging. She hadn't even realized that everything was silent. On the royal deck, Chronos was standing with his hands inside his pocket. Beside Luffy. Not even a second had passed by. Their conversation felt like a dream that never happened. It was as if time stopped just for them.

Chopper ran like his life depended on it. The massive mountains of Sea Kings were fast and savage. Frothing from their mouth, eyes red with blind madness, they growled and attacked anyone in their sight. Their roar was mind numbing and earth shattering.

Chopper ran through the air, in his jump point, punching one Sea King hard as he instantly transformed into arm point, sending the Sea King flying away, while another jumped above Chopper, trying to crush him, but Chopper instantly turned into his Monster point, kicking the giant Sea King away. Their moans of pain made Chopper cringe with empathy. This...this was inhumane. Chopper had to follow the screams though. That was the unbearable part. The screams of Shirahoshi as he fended off the wild Sea Kings.

Brook was swimming and turning away Sea Kings on his own too, aiding Chopper as he followed him towards the source of the screams atop Laboon, his loyal whale. The only one that remained. Island Whales do not fight, not in the least when their opponents were fearsome Sea Kings, the most powerful predators of the ocean.

Each Sea King was as powerful as an entire battalion. Chopper had to fight an entire army of armies with only Brook by his side.

Tail fin of one Sea King eventually got to Chopper as he was thrown back with speed, back towards the ocean. Chopper jumped and kicked with all his might to stay afloat and had barely managed to stay clear of the sea that would effectively make him useless on account of his devil fruit power.

Just when he breathed a sigh of relief, another attacked from below and Chopper barely managed to escape its fearsome jaws, scratching himself and bruising against their sharp teeth as they tore and scratched to get to Chopper, even at the cost of harming themselves. They were mindless, mad with only the sense to obey an order, to single mindedly pursue their prey.

Brook froze some, he slashed some, he incapacitated some, but there were no end to them. And unless he was ready to kill them, they just weren't showing signs of stopping. They just kept on coming. In endless swarms.

Chopper fought hard, struggling, worming through the giant Sea Kings. No matter how high he flew, they always managed to jump higher, no matter how hard he went, they always managed to reach him. They were like rabid dogs, starving for their prey.

And then suddenly, Chopper reached his destination.

There she was. Tied in between two massive ships with sea stone laden thick chains. The Mermaid Princess in her sorry state. Her pretty face was gone. She was a shrunken husk of her former self, flesh dissolved, her cheeks hollow, her eyes sockets, purple, poisoned veins adorned around them. Her pupils almost invisible. Seeing nothing. Understanding nothing. Only screaming her blood curdling screams that agitated the Sea Kings..

No one had known of her. Except Kong. Not even Robin. This was one of his most secret weapons.

Chopper had landed on one ship as soon as he had found Shirahoshi.

The sight of her, left him numb. His knees gave away as he knelt down in shock.

"What did they do to you?" he muttered in disbelief at the state of the once beautiful and cheerful Mermaid Princess.

And just then, a large tail came crashing down atop Chopper. Shattering the ship he was standing upon, crushing the small form of the reindeer as Chopper was buried deep into the ocean waves.

Nami floated high up in between the clouds using her fluffy transport.

Surrounded by the members of illusive CP0.

"We have something we want to ask you." Lucci said as he flew up above in front of her, shirtless and rippling with muscles. His body tensed up for transformation should the need arise. The other members were all present.

This was bad. Very bad. She was surrounded by the most fearsome assassination team of government in their entire history.

Nami cannot fight them. She was not a fighter at all, let alone capable of handling these monsters. Even a single one was troublesome for her. They had everyone!

"G-get lost!" she said bravely, sweating with nervousness.

"You leave us no choice.." Lucci stated.

Kalifa came up behind her and kicked Nami from the back.

Only to encounter thin air as the mirage dissipated to reveal empty space. "Hmph! She escaped." Kalifa muttered.

"I see..you are buying time. Then let me see too...just how long these clouds can hide you. We will not stop searching until we have found you. This battle, you are the key to it, are you not?" Lucci stated clearly, confident that she would hear him wherever amongst the clouds she was.

No matter how much control she has over her elements, these guys were powerful beyond anything Nami was capable of handling. She pondered upon her escape routes as she hid herself inside one of the clouds, her heart beating fast and adrenaline pumping through her veins. She was cornered from every side. It was only a matter of time until she was found out. And there was absolutely no way they won't detect her escaping.

They were wolves baiting and trapping their prey. They were trained for this..

Back on the Alabastan coast, Franky was being pummelled by an army of Pacifistas and Jr. Punk in his humanoid mecha robot.

" ' . .You!" he punctuated every word with a punch as he threw Franky around like a rag doll, never even giving him a chance to retaliate, not that Franky could.

"*cough* Cola...*cough* Coal..I need cola.." Franky moaned as he suffered under the barrage of laser beams, high velocity bullets and ton load of punches, which, even his extra hardened, custom made Franky special alloy had a hard time enduring. His cyborg body was slowly reaching the limit of its exertions.

X-X-X

The Alabastan army were ready to enter the battlefield themselves, when all those at the coast felt blood on their skin. Numerous cuts were digging into their flesh. It was as if the wind was biting them. Like a million invisible mosquitoes pecking on their skin, the stings were relentless and numerous.

Cobra turned around from Luffy, wiping his face with his silken sleeves, only to see them get a little bloody. "What is happening?" he asked curiously. Everyone around had their skin red. The cuts weren't fatal, but they were more like itches than stings.

Chaka looked afar at the other shore of the Alabastan coast, where the clouds were ripping open, and from where faint humming of vibrating steel could be heard, the kind in such a frequency that it rattled the all the glasses around them, some even were cracking.

"I think Pirate Hunter Zorro has entered the battle already." Chaka told his king.

X-X-X

Zorro felt his eyes haze, having a hard time keeping up with the powerful blows of Oz, using Hawkeye's shadow and swift attacks of Blaze the hulking agile brute using Kenshin's shadow with far more skill than Zorro could have expected.

Panting hard as he slid far from the impact of a recent blow he supported himself in between his blades struck to the ground in his either hand while the third one clenched tightly in between his teeth as he struggled to breath. He was far more exhausted than he thought he was. It was really a bad time to have been caught up in such an exciting battle.

"Do you feel it? Do you feel it?" Remmy shouted in excited tone every time Zorro struggled to fend off a blow. "What a great sight to have the Legend Of Zorro..on his knees!" Remmy exclaimed as he jumped around, his shadow protecting him from the blades and augmenting his movements as he evaded the stray impacts and kept mocking Zorro.

Oz came from the left, his heavy sword roaring from the force of the swing as it descended upon Zorro. Zorro blocked the swing with some effort, but the force threw him back, ripping through the ground as he slid to a halt only to find himself fending off the dual bladed Blaze. As soon as he evaded his lightning fast strikes, Oz came again from out of nowhere with an overhead slash, which took Zorro both of his swords to block but threw him like a meteor into the ground, making a ginormous crater in the ground.

Zorro was hurting everywhere. Just when he thought he could take a breath, a blinding pain sliced through the left side of his ribs.

Remmy had found his window. His boots sprouted daggers as he kicked and pierced Zorro's side, finding the opportunity, just when Zorro had his guard down.

"Gah!" Zorro exclaimed, but it was the only thing that he could moan out as a boot stamped his face down into the ground, effectively pinning him.

"What a pity.." Remmy said with a maniacal snicker. Standing over the fallen form of Zorro. Trampling him. Outside the crater, Blaze and Oz stood towering, sentinels to their master, motionless, emotionless. Slave to his every command.

Usopp gasped breathlessly at the pain of such a horrid slash against the entire length of his torso, blood sprouted from his body like a fountain. He was numb from the pain of it all, bent down on his knees coughing and choking on the viscous fluid that was his blood.

"That armour of yours is pretty handy isn't it?" The woman commented as she sensuously licked the scimitar that she held, coated with his blood, very close to the edge, almost cutting her but yet not.

"C-Caroline!" Usopp gasped without looking up, reeling with the effort to stay conscious. Who else could it be? She had been looking for an opportunity since forever to kill him. She hated his guts. She hated him with everything she had. He was a worthless piece of trash who got to stand at the summit through his lies while she struggled so much to get to the top. Only the shadow of his crew had saved him from her wrath. Not to mention his brilliant escape tactics. No matter how fast she was, he managed to outwit her.

But now, under the umbrella of the mighty marines, this dream of hers could come true. She could have his intestines ripped out and make a beautiful necklace out of it. This disgusting man, who dared stand on equal terms beside her at the summit of Grand Line without a strength she could respect.

In ripped jean shorts and a shirt tied at her abdomen showing her expansive cleavage, she was more beautiful than any woman, and far, far more devious than anything.

"Finally! Finally, I have you under me." She said with an ugly sneer on her beautiful , luscious red lips. "My, I am so horny right now, seeing you like this..." she said as her creamy thighs went either side of Usopp as she bent down to look down on him, sitting on her heels. She was very tall, Usopp felt small between her legs, gasping and choking, his head close to her crotch.

"I bet I would have an orgasm, watching you squirm and scream. Wouldn't that be...beautiful?" she asked in her husky voice.

Behind her, Marcus had only just regained his senses, soaking in the sharp turn of events around him and the woman that suddenly appeared out of nowhere threatening his Boss.

Rage blinded him as he lifted his Claymore to slash her apart, the heavy blade descending upon her with suffocating force, displacing massive amount of air as gales started forming from the sheer force of the swing.

Caroline, the Yonkou of the North, the Queen of the Wind barely even registered the insignificant pest that was buzzing behind her. A flick of her sword, invisible to the naked eye, barely visible to even those with Haki and the humongous Giant was thrown off with the force of that slash, barely blocking it, flying off to the other side of the battlefield unable to counter the sheer strength.

The large body of the Giant soldier was dragged through the ground razing a canal on the ground as he finally halted to a stop, eyes barely alive, his strength dissipated with the effort it took to block that slash. He was kilometres away from where he was. The woman, with her one careless gesture had bitten of a chunk of the army, of marines and pirates alike.

"Don't worry, darling." Caroline said to Usopp. "I will not let you die so fast. You would come to relish agony before I am done with you. I promise." She said cooing at the writhing form of Usopp.

"I think it was here, the spinal plate that supports the lower half of the human body. It would destroy the legs you run so much with. What fun it would be, isn't it dear?" she asked chuckling in her erotic voice as she lifted her blade, coated with Haki pointed directly at the place where the base of his spine would be, underneath his armour.

Caroline didn't waste time, the blade descended smoothly downwards with force enough to shatter the sound barrier even at this small a distance at such short a time as the blade lowered to pierce its target.

Only to be stopped by a boot that miraculously appeared from nowhere, the blade struck at the top of it. The Haki covering the boot effectively blocking the blade.

"YOU! HOW COULD YOU BE HERE?" Usopp heard Caroline shout as she jumped back a few meters away, her speed making the transition almost instantaneous.

"I was hoping we wouldn't run into you Mrs. Caroline." A calm voice told her as Usopp heard the clint of a cigarette lighter.

"S-Sanji!" Usopp gasped despite the pain.

"I may have been a little late into the party, but I have no intention of standing by and watch you harm my crew mate." Usopp heard Sanji talk coolly, in the usual suave way Usopp knew he always talked.

"Heh. Is it so. Do you really think you could defeat me whilst you make that face of yours?" Caroline asked in a mocking tone.

Usopp, with effort lifted his head to see the sight of his crew mate and protector standing behind him as the shadow that was the wall that kept the monstrous strength of Caroline at bay. If it was not for Sanji, Usopp was a goner. He knew that. Sanji always managed to come at the most appropriate time at the perfect place. He was the master strategist of the crew after all.

"I will have you know, I am quite powerful." Sanji said as Usopp looked up at the towering figure of Sanji behind him.

"SAY THAT WHEN YOUR EYES AREN'T A SET OF CRAZY HEARTS YOU DUMBASS!" Usopp shouted out aloud, despite the pain, the weakness and the blood choking his throat. Such was his annoyance at the womanizing bastard.

Sure enough, despite the suave demeanour, the cool voice, the calm expression, Sanji's eyes were a pair of wild hearts beating with a lovesick intensity.

Some things can never change.
